RAW AND AUTHENTIC Makeup-free, hair wet, happy, calm, self-care game has been at my max recently, and motivated to work on all of the creative projects that are in the works! After having some personal issues and setbacks recently, I am ready more than ever to conquer some obstacles and continue to get some work done! These were selfies I took for a casting and also filmed some footage for my upcoming YouTube video talking about my whole experience at @cocorochamodelcamp ❤ I am so excited to post my video this upcoming Sunday! It's been 3 weeks since I have not posted a YouTube video which breaks my self declared deadline to post a video once a week. I was hard at myself for not sticking to that deadline at first but then realized how I should not be so hard on myself because the past 3 weeks has been a whirlwind of learning, growth, and a productive process for both George and I. We took my new Model Digitals, did some photoshoots, investing in lighting equipment for our new studio we built for @mootensproductions (coming soon), learned a lot more business insights, improving our Self-Care routines individually and together, and SO much more! I tend to be VERY hard on myself at times which can be a benefit but a downfall as well. If it's to the point where you are talking negatively and putting yourself down on how you "can't" do it or "I am not good enough", that's not productive or beneficial. There NEEDS to be a balance and understanding within yourself. Thus, this is why I forgive myself, learn from it, and move forward from it which helps SO much to not only self reflect, but to learn how to take care of yourself better mentally. DON'T FORGET YOU are in charge of your own future to accomplish your goals. What can you do to make it reality? ☑ TAKE ACTION. No dream can come true until you take that first step towards it. You want to do photography? Start practicing and study everything about it. How about modeling? Start practicing posing and knowing the industry. ☑ JOURNAL YOUR GOALS DAILY. I know this is easier said then done. It's best to write out your goals DAILY to make yourself accountable what exactly you want to accomplish each and everyday. Do you want to exercise daily? Well write that shit down, put it as a alarm, and do it! ☑ KEEP DREAMING BIG. To help you accomplish closer to your big goals, keep dreaming BIG so you can accomplish all of the smaller goals along the way that will take you to your big goal. ☑ DON'T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF. The worst thing you can do is to put yourself down thinking you "cannot" accomplish your goals and limiting your mindset to settle for comfort. This can lead to a downward spiral of lack of motivation and discipline which prevents you from accomplishing your goals because of that self-doubt. ☑ YOU CAN DO IT! Lift yourself up and just take that first step. As long as you are doing a little bit of something than nothing at all, this can help you towards achieving your goals. If you didn't finish everything within that day, that's okay too! Don't beat yourself up as well. MY TRUE LOVE In my previous reel I posted earlier today, I talked about what I thought "True Love" meant. This has so many personal meanings for me. I did not think true love existed when I was younger as I was jaded from previous relationships with people. I thought there was no way I can be with someone who would genuinely love EVERY aspect of me from the good, bad and ugly and vice versa. I then started working on MYSELF and gained the confidence knowing MY WORTH AND VALUE and did not think of being with anyone. I felt I did NOT need to be with someone in order to be happy. At such a young age, I was surprisingly okay with myself for not being with someone as I knew there was so much more to live for when I move out and go to college. Oh boy did that turn out differently since I met my wonderful husband @george._.perez in high school by chance. I did not like him at first but when there was times our relationship was tested in so many ways seeing the good, bad and ugly sides of each other, I knew this was true love. We full heartedly accepted one another for who we are not putting on a fake persona on who we are trying to be. I know our relationship is not perfect but I know our love is true and genuine. Thus, you will never know when you stumble upon that true love. What I learned was when you FULLY learn to truly love YOURSELF, then your energy will attract that true love to share with someone else and you won't even realize it. EMBRACE AND LOVE YOURSELF In previous years, I did not take care of myself fully when it came to my body, mind and soul. I had a very unhealthy mindset where judgment and negativity was surrounding me with the people I interacted with and I ultimately became them. I did not care much about health and wellness especially when it came to diet, exercise and self care. I did not take care of my skin. I did not exercise or ate healthy. I also had insecurities and lower self-esteem comparing myself to other people instead of comparing to myself. Over time, I realized the life I was living was not the ideal life I wanted to live. I was bitter, negative, critical and most of all was NOT growing into a better person as time went on. When I realized this, I slowly started to distance myself from negative and toxic people, I started educating myself about skincare, health and wellness, and mindset CHANGE. This process was not easy as it took a lot of time to become SELF-AWARE of your actions, ANALYZE it, and then take ACTIONS to improve and grow. Unfortunately I did outgrow and separated from a lot of people over time but I definitely gained new friends who were better to me and attracted more people who were like minded as me. Not only that, I grew into a better, stronger, more confident, and resilient woman than ever before. I started to focus more on MYSELF rather than comparing my growth and success to other people. I started making myself accountable for my own success, eating healthy, exercise, and push myself to continually LEARN each and everyday! What are you doing to improve and grow for yourself? LET'S TALK ABOUT FASHION First off, I just want to say I had an incredible time with the whole process of this high fashion shoot from the prepping, collaborating, styling, shooting and the creation of this! I shot with the awesome @electroglow with makeup and hair done by the sweetest @luxymakeupby_anna! BETRAYAL Let's just say I had a wonderful time acting this intense scene out with @kevinhayer at @studio24inc ! I know I don't post much acting stuff on my page here but I also absolutely love acting and bringing a character to life. I personalized these scene as if I was going through this with George betraying me which causes me to feel that stab in the heart. The confusion, the anger, the doubt, and most of all the hurt. I wanted to show strength to face this betrayal but really I am so hurt and lost inside. I imagine this is just a snippet of the whole story and this is how I would truly feel. Hurt and frustration is such an intense feeling so for me to bring it out made me feel shaky afterwards. Thus, what I learned it's not just acting. It's being empathetic and live through it through these characters. This is art and I LOVE IT! How did this scene make you feel? PILLOW TALK SERIES. When meeting new people, most of the time it is a friendly encounter with a "Hi" or "Nice to meet you" keeping it superficial and unattached but civil. Then, you start talking to the person more and naturally you would want to show the best side of your personality. Later, this may lead to wanting future dates and hangouts because you are intrigued to get to know that person better based on a good first interaction. . . Further, you now hung out a few more times and you start liking the person more. If you are attracted to them, you start liking them more leading towards a relationship. Eventually when you start hanging around more frequently, you start seeing their TRUE COLORS. . . The point of this example is you will never know how your interactions with people will turn out. It could be positive, negative, or just pure toxic for you. The next thing YOU can do is to really know yourself, your values, your goals, your mantra and to have self-confidence in YOU. Know what YOU stand for and to MANIFEST a healthy lifestyle and environment which helps you be a BETTER PERSON EVERYDAY. This includes surrounding yourself with the right people who brings the good out of you NOT the ugly. Know if that person's values are on the same page as yours. . . Art is subjective and it depends on the eye of the beholder. There is no right and wrong when it comes imagery. This also applies to what we see as beautiful in the world too. There's BEAUTY EVERYWHERE but not everyone see the same thing. The best thing to do is to be open minded and not show judgement ❤ . .
