Before you do it, here’s a few reminders:

- This fest was created to celebrate trans characters, so we ask that a trans person is the main focus of the prompt you’re submitting; - We use trans is an umbrella term that covers any identity that doesn’t fit with the gender the person was assigned at birth (all non-cis identities), regardless of dysphoria, or the characters wanting to change their bodies surgically. - All ships and all eras welcome, as well as gen fic (no ship); - You can leave as many prompts as you’d like. Leaving prompts doesn’t mean you’ve got to claim one later; - If you would like to participate in the fest as a podficcer, you don’t have to submit a prompt. When Claiming starts, you’ll be able to sign up as a podficcer without a prompt. - This fest deals with mature subjects and the participants are responsible for curating their own experiences within the fest. This applies to viewing the prompts list, which is uncensored; -  Around here, we believe in “don’t like, don’t read”, “YKINMKATO”, “ship and let ship”, which means we will not be tolerating any kinds of kink shaming, ship shaming, harassment, hate speech, or general bigotry.

I have had this idea, and I feel a little nervous asking, but I have loved reading fics and seeing tumblr posts where recipes are shared.

Would people be interested in a fic fest where you also share a favourite recipe?

The fic could be about anything but must mention somehow the recipe, and then the recipe is also included in the fic (could be in the narrative, or just shared at the beginning or end). I just think it would be cute and then all the recipes could be collected like a little fandom recipe book.

**EDIT** I should’ve also said that this could also be art of any kind! As many types of fan stuff as possible!!

At 37 years old, I discovered I can put the duvet case on while sitting on the bed and it doesn't hurt my back anywhere near as much.

I feel like I should have discovered this two decades ago.

Remus remembered his birthday and bought him something.

His hands are shaking a little as he reaches for them. The smaller one first, because the biggest presents are the best and better saved until last. He rips open the star-patterned wrapping paper with a grin and tosses it aside, finding a small box inside.

I have spent a lot of time thinking about tumblr.com recently. About its purpose and its niche. About the waifs and strays, every one of us, who find ourselves here.

And I have talked before about how other people's blogs have a kind of... geographical location for me, which I am aware is weird. It physically feels to me like travelling to you. Some of you North East, some to the West, a few of you are like being submerged in the sea. It's like visiting each of your homes to ask for an egg, or stopping by for a cup of tea. Or gossiping before leaving with a kiss on the mouth.

And I am so profoundly grateful for you all.

So, at the end of a long and sometimes heartbreaking year, thank you. To all my wonderful friends, whether I talk to you daily or more infrequently. To anyone who has read one of my silly little fics. To those who have left a kudos or a comment or even, to my utter amazement, a rec and a fanart! To those who have followed this year, and those who stayed from the last 🥹. To anyone who indulged me in an ask game, or a calligraphy request, or just interacted with me positively in some way...

Oh my goodness, this is the most accurate and hilarious addition! It's so clever, Mia. I can't even begin to explain how clever and nuanced this is!

The difficulty in being a nurse and writing Wolfstar fanfic, is that there's inevitably some time when Remus someone is injured or unconscious for some length of time, and I worry about pressure ulcers, how do they pee/poop, how do they get their medication... I feel like I need to write care plans for them!

You are obviously a big wolfstar fan, so I was curious if that was always the case or if you ever shipped Remus and Tonks, and if not if you disliked Tonks in general or just as a partner for Remus?

Hi Anon,

I started off as a Jily fan and very quickly became a Wolfstar fan too. I think the dynamic between these characters is fascinating- the whole star and moon, both rejected in different ways, the mystery around the prank, even the fact that in canon during the first war they suspected each other is really fascinating from an attachment perspective and I feel like canon marauders fics have done an amazing job of explaining how that happened? Also the allusions (albeit vehemently denied by she who must not be named) to them being a couple in canon - quarrelling like an old married couple, lie low at Lupin’s, buying Christmas presents together, the 40 line stare - even the actors and director of PoA thought they were a couple! I could keep going 👌💕

I liked Tonks as a character at the start - she’s great! Her backstory is excellent too. I just don’t think Remadora works at all. Romance is not JKR’s forte in Harry Potter books, let’s face it.

But here especially, we know she basically didn’t start off planning on Remadora happening, but wanted to quash rumours of Wolfstar being canon. It therefore feels extremely rushed and not thought through and just not engaging?

I don’t think it’s her intention at all, but canon Remadora sounds like Remus doesn’t want to marry Tonks and is almost forced into it and then panics and regrets it. I know in fact it’s meant to be that he DOES like her and just thinks he’s not good enough and then panics the baby will be better off without him, and he DOES come back to her but I personally hate that part. Like if my husband acted like that I’d be so unimpressed no matter what his excuse???? It is not a good sign lads!

Plus, Tonks looses her personality once she marries? Starts off funny and pink haired and possibly not intentionally quite queer coded, and dies brown haired and essentially in one of the only roles JK gives women - martyred mother… I don’t like it.

I like Tonks. I like Remus. I don’t like them together? If she had written them differently I might, and I’m sure there’s some brilliant fanfics that are miles better than canon.

TW: Ash asked for angst, and angst there is! Violence and maybe MCD, depending on how you want to interpret it! Remus stands confidently on the front line, ready to fight, ready to die for the freedom of the wizarding world, Sirius by his side as always, and Remus is not afraid--not until he sees his own nightmare in the form of Fenrir Greyback join the ranks of the opposition, eyes boring into Remus and a terrifying smile on his face.

Remus wavers, and suddenly his strength in the face of danger diminishes, and he's scared for himself and for Sirius too, as Greyback's eyes slide from Remus to his side, to Sirius, and the expression Remus can see is one of hunger. The two sides collide, and Remus is caught up in fighting, no time to think or worry, and the fighting goes on for a long time, until the number of Death Eaters lying dead on the floor has reached whatever limit the bastards had set, and they disapparate, leaving Remus searching franticly for Sirius, but when he locks eyes on his mate, he turns to ice, as one of the opposition has not yet left; Greyback has his teeth around Sirius's throat, and Sirius is lying lifeless on the floor.
