Y’all Might be wonderin’ what is going on.

I’ll tell ya. I have lost interest in maintaining this blog.

Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not leaving Tumblr all together.

Quite the opposite actually.

I’m actually moving to a different blog.

I need a fresh start.

This blog has been great over the years. I have followed and unfollowed many people. I have met and lost friends here. I have had a lot of drama in and out of this blog. Some started by me, some by others.

There is just too many memories associated with this blog that I don’t want to be around anymore.

I desperately need a clean slate and new clearer goals.

So, with this, I’ll see y’all over at the other blog. I may or may not leave my posts up. Only time will tell.

These are images for an event being hosted in a Discord / Deviant art group~

It’s nice that these two are done and the 3rd is almost done too.. I’m just dreading the fact that I still have to finish lining 3 and coloring 3 other full body images as well as 2 more maps. I am really workin’ myself to the bone with this event.

Little bit of everything today. From concept sketches to just normal practice sketches.

Ever since I started using drawpile as my go to program for sketches and lineart I feel like I have improved quite a bit~ I feel a bit more loose and free flowing when it comes to sketching and doodling~

And though this isn’t a good example, I feel like I have been drawing less and less of the 3/4th angles~ I’ve been drawing a lot more poses and cloth~ Only using the 3/4th angles when designing a new character or when trying to figure out some bit of anatomy.

I’ve been doing a lot of sketching lately~ Many of my pictures have simply been concept pieces or references.

I figured I would share a few here~

A few have been done on my usual paint program, Sai. Others I’ve been doing on Drawpile~

For a while I really hated Drawpile’s brushes.. However, seeing how they have allowed me to loosen up and be a bit more free, I think I will stick with it when drawing my comics. Or at least when drawing and lining the panels. Only switching over to Sai for the colors and shading.

I finally have a nice and fitting idea for a setting for my books~

For a while, I struggled to figure out what I wanted to do for a setting for my book. Just going along with a new york type megacity.

However, while making the Kings I discovered I unintentionally drew them in somewhat desert attire. So..

I’m running with it~

My books are going to be set entirely in deserts and desert oases.
