Greenlawns High School makes a bold move towards the 21st Century!
MUMBAI: The Greenlawns High School in Warden Road has become one of the first ICSE Schools in India to add Robotics & AI for all their students from std 1st to 10th — in their school time table in partnership with OLL.
This initiative has been started in the school by Ms. Caroline, the principal of Greenlawns High School. Ms. Caroline — an Education Stalwart is making sure that each child is ready to face the 21st Century.
The School has over 900 robots that cover the entire tech syllabus between Classes 1 and 10, a robotic kit which will help the students learn the syllabus in a practical way. The Apple MacBook Air 2022 (M2)
The Apple MacBook Air 2022 is finally coming to stores. Apple has announced the release date and opening date for orders for the expected updated MacBook Air with the new M2 chip. The last MacBook Air was released in 2020 with the M1 chip and has been one of our favourite laptops ever since, so we have high hopes for the new model.
Apple says orders for the 2022 MacBook Air will open on Friday 8 July at 5am Pacific / 1pm UK. Shipping and in-store availability are said to begin next week, Friday July 15th. Where does this new laptop fit into the MacBook family? Last year, Apple updated its flagship MacBook Pro 14 and 16, transforming its most powerful laptops to date with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. It has since released a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with the M2 chip, which is below them in terms of performance.
The new MacBook Air 2022 will remain a "value" MacBook option, below all in terms of specifications. However, it is expected to offer a significant boost over the MacBook Air 2020, which was already a very fast light and portable laptop. That's partly thanks to the new M2 chip, which doesn't overpower the M1 Pro and Pro Max, but offers performance improvements over the M1. It offers a new, super thin design and a larger display than the previous model.
2022 MacBook Air M2 Specification
Design : MacBook Air 2022 features an all-new design that ditches the long-standing tapered shape for a flat body with uniform thickness. However, it retains the “Air” concept – thin, light and portable with a super slim design and no fan like the previous mode. Apple says that the device 20% smaller than the previous MacBook Air, and we're taking that at their word for now. On the bottom of the machine there are four feet that borrow the characteristics of the MacBook Pro.
Body : The body is made of durable aluminium, and the laptop boasts a slightly larger compared to the 13.3-inch 2020 model. The resolution is 1080p, and the laptop is equipped with an HD camera and a sound system with four speakers. It comes in four finishes: Silver, Space Gray, Starlight, and now a dark blue called Midnight (rumours that we might see an iMac-style colour palette have not materialized). It measures 11.3 mm and weighs just 1.22 kg
Display : The display is 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display and it is surrounded by black bezels like the previous model (it also retains the notch – something that was rumoured to be on its way out). The Magic Keyboard retains the same scissor switch mechanism and features a large Force Touch trackpad and no Touch Bar..
2022 MacBook Air M2 Technical Specification
The MacBook Air 2022 will come with the same new M2 chip as the MacBook Pro 13 2022. This promises better performance on the M1 with a next-generation 8-core CPU that offers advances in both performance and core efficiency. It will also benefit from Apple's next-generation GPU, which now has up to 10 cores - two more than the M1 (Cupertino's best is now rumored to be working on an Apple M3 chip, presumably for the next-generation MacBook Air).
The M2 promises 100GB/s unified memory bandwidth and up to 24GB of fast unified memory, meaning it should handle larger and more complex workloads with ease. The last MacBook Air was already a great performer, but it managed to falter when doing heavy video editing or 3D rendering. This upgrade could make the new MacBook Air a more valuable alternative to the MacBook Pro. The new chip also adds a new media engine and a powerful ProRes video engine for hardware-accelerated encoding and decoding, meaning laptops should be able to play more 4K and 8K video streams than before.
As for the display, in addition to being slightly larger, it's also slightly brighter - up to 500 nits from 400. We get a resolution of 2560 x 1664 with 224 pixels per inch and support for P3 Wide colors and 1 billion colors. True Tone should allow the display to adjust to the brightness and temperature of the ambient light using the laptop's sensor.
We mentioned the return of MagSafe. This is a MagSafe 3 charging port, the same as the MacBook Pro 14 and 16. The other ports are two Thunderbolt 3/USB-C for transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps. There is also a 3.5 mm headphone jack with support for high-impedance headphones.
As for battery life, Apple says the 52.6-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery should give us 18 hours of video playback. The base MacBook Air 2022 model will come with a 30W USB-C power adapter, while the higher-end 10-core GPU configuration will come with a 35W compact dual USB-C power adapter. The notebook will be able to be quickly charged using a 67W USB-C adapter.
2022 MacBook Air M2 Pricing
Base configurations of the MacBook Air 2022 start at an M2 with an 8-core GPU, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD for almost ₹1,19,900. on par with the previous generation at launch. The second base option is the M2 with a 10-core GPU, 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD for ₹1,49,900.
Various upgraded configurations will be available - you'll need to pay an extra $200 to increase the RAM (unified memory) up to 16GB, or $400 to increase it to 24GB. A more capacious SSD will cost you $400 for 1TB or $800 for 2TB.

8 Ways to Improve Your Handwriting
Handwriting is more than just a form of communication. It's part of our identity; you can always tell if something is written by you or someone else. Moving from the wrist will eventually cause hand fatigue and cramping, so keeping this loose and your shoulders relaxed will ensure a pleasant writing experience. Take it back to basics.Start with writing in big bold letters like we used to when we were learning letters in kindergarten. Write using crayons or markers if you want to. Going back to big letter forms can help reshape and retrain your handwriting muscles for writing on a smaller scale. Keep your old writing samples and date them. This is a great way of tracking your progress. Remember it's not about getting it perfect, but rather, progressing and improving. Be kind to yourself, especially when you're first starting out. Handwriting refers to the style and technique that you use to jot things down day to day. Handwriting needs to be quicker and more practical . Just like anything else, you can improve your handwriting with use. The more you write using good habits and implementing styles that appeal to you, the better your handwriting will get. 8. Write on a lined paper or use templates

More than likely, you’ll be able to see the notebook paper lines through the printer paper, and you can use those lines as guidelines for even writing. Or, if you don’t mind the lines, you can write someone a letter directly on notebook paper. This point reminds me of another tip: always use a “padding” piece of paper. No matter what piece of paper you’re writing on, it should always have another piece of paper under it. For some reason, the slightly cushier surface provided by two pieces of paper makes it easier for all pens to write!
