I decided to draw my first oc, Solus for the first time in a while and having done so, I had to go back and find the first time I drew him, February of this year to compare them because just.

Holy shit.

How much my art style has changed in the last 10 months or so????

I hadn't realised how far I'd veered away from the manga-ish style I used to have until now. But I like it /so/ much better where it is now- I've figured out how to draw hair, for starters and I'm kinda getting to grips with facial features (mouths are still a bitch). In February 2019 I might do the 'drawing this thing again a year later' thing, and draw that exact pose of Sol, because I honestly hadn't realised until now how much my art has developed. Holy shit. Kinda shook.

Felt like seeing how detailed I could get some hair and hatching-style shading with my 0.05mm copic multiliner- result could look better in terms of looking like Hakyeon but I'm liking the style and it certainly could be worse-
