i think its so heartbreaking that when sam and dean find the bunker dean is like "fuck yea home base lets go " and sam is like meh and deans like whats the issue and sam literally goes "i dont have the same memories of 'home' as you do, dean." and its like he doesnt feel like the bunker is a home cuz hes never had a permanent home and then in the impala episode he says "we're already home" when theyre in the impala and thats like the only consistent thing throughout his whole childhood was the impala and to him wherever the impala goes is home because thats where his family is and just the difference between their ideas of home makes me insane
