NEWS
Okay guys, this year I reopened this project with the intention of getting more letters and Gifts than last year, but due to the amount of school work I had put on me, i wasn't able to put enough time in effort into promoting it and getting the word out. For this reason, im closing the project. I'm very sorry to the people who were excited for this, I really am. Thank you guys for a wonderful year last year and a potentially wonderful year this year. You guys have made this project possible. I appreciated it.

Dear Chris Evans,
first of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY (for the probably 6th gazillion time)
My name is Pam and I live in Berlin, Germany (thanks for not blowing up the place, by the way. I personally really appreciate it)
I don’t know if I’ll ever get to meet you and even if, I’m not sure I’d remember all the things I would like to tell you, so I guess here goes.
Thank you for choosing to make movies, first of all. Movies are a great way to pass time and to escape reality, even if some make less sense than others. So thank you for being a part of my escape from reality more times than I can count.
Thank you especially for making ‘Before we go’. I personally never felt the need to be represented in movies. No idea why, really. And then I met this person on an airplane, spent a few hours with them in Liverpool, UK before parting ways again the morning after. The whole thing lasted maybe eight hours but changed a lot about the way I see myself (and a little about how I approach other people). But whenever I tried to tell people about it, they didn’t get it. And then I saw 'Before we go’ and suddenly there was a reference for me to use. So again, thank you for telling my story, thank you for representing me.
Finally, THANK YOU a million times from the bottom of my heart for helping me see who I am and for being open and honest about it. I’m now 34 years old, but I have struggled with depression over 10 years. A fact I wouldn’t admit to anyone until late last year. I kept reading about the way you dealt and deal with anxiety issues and kept thinking to myself, “Well, if this dude can do it, so can I!” Just a few weeks ago I then took the plunge and found myself a therapist. So, one more time, thank you for helping me get better.
Thank you for doing what you do. Thank you for being you. Thank you for all the things you haven’t even done yet.
Have a wonderful day surrounded by love and awe.
Pam

Dear Chris,
Hi! I just wanted to say that I admire you so much. I suffer from extreme anxiety and want to get into film, and it’s so inspiring to see you doing what you love despite the difficulties anxiety brings. You are an amazing person who does amazing things, and I am forever grateful to you for being my inspiration.
Thanks for being great and someone I would be honored to be friends with.

Welcome back to the Chris Evans project! This blog is dedicated to spreading the love for Chris Evans and to show him that people from all around the globe support him. The various ways you can do that are listed here, and our primary purpose is explained here.
To get the whole gist of it, what will basically happen is this; You’ll show him how much you appreciate, love or support him by creating something (a letter, a graphic, a video, ect) and either submit it to us or post it to your blog with the tag #thechrisevansproject within your first five tags. From there, it will be reblogged or posted onto this blog.
We have 23 days to make this happen for his birthday, and we aim to make Chris notice the blog on the dates of June 11th, June 12th, and June 13th. We hope that by June 9th the entire blog will be filled with people’s stories and creations for Chris’ Birthday!
Last year we got over 100 submissions and raised 1.1k in donations for Christopher’s Haven with EvangersCares, and we did that in under a month!
We’ll be needing a lot of people for this project, whether it’s helping to organize the blog, being someone who helps him notice the blog on twitter, or being someone who creates something for him. The more, The merrier. So please, please spread the word! We really want to make this special for him.
If you have questions, ask us here. If you want to apply to be a member, go here. (also please note that there will be 1-5 new members accepted as of right  now)

this was suppose to be posted at 12am but I fell asleep whoops
So today’s the day, guys! In under a month we’ve managed to get over 100 letters and creations all made for Chris and also raised over $1,000 in donations for Christopher’s haven! And we did it together, as a team. I’m so very excited for how far this project has come, but it isn’t over yet!
We still have to try to get the word out to Chris about this in any way we can, so we’ve decided to launch a twitter campaign. Most people have signed up for it already but we could really use more help! All we need is for you to tweet out the blog link to Chris (or co-stars such as Hayley Atwell, Anthony Mackie, ect.) throughout the day in hopes that he’ll click on it. You can find example tweets and all the details here and ask us questions about this here.
We really hope you can take part in this, and even if you can’t, reblogging this would still suffice!

Happy Birthday Chris Evans!
The fact of the matter is, Chris Evans, you are a true inspiration to me. I intended to record a video, but I just couldn’t do it, so I wrote this letter instead.
For years, I have suffered with anxiety, depression, and many other health issues. I watched your interview with your friend, Lindsey McKeon, and honestly, listening to your perspective on life was eye-opening for me. The idea of recognizing that I don’t have to be perfect at everything was exactly what I needed to hear because for years that is what my family has pushed me to be.
I want to thank you for taking the role of Captain America, despite your initial reluctance due to your anxiety and countless other factors. You have knocked it out of the park. You are an amazing actor, and you have made Captain America my favorite superhero. You also sent out a message to many people that they can fight back and will not always be held back by their anxiety. I took that lesson to heart, and it has really helped me grow and develop.
This may sound ridiculous or cheesy, but you are not just an actor who plays a superhero. To me, you are a hero. You are honest, respectful, and incredibly strong. You face your challenges head on and face life with such a positive attitude. You are a role model to me, and I thank you for everything that you do. You truly care about people, and you do so much.
So, happy birthday to one of the greatest and most sincere actor in Hollywood. You are an amazing actor in every role, not just as Captain America. Honestly, Snowpiercer is one of my favorite movies because of your superb acting, so I hope your birthday is fantastic! Thank you again and Happy Birthday!

Dear Chris,
I made this letter for you, to wish you Happy Birthday. you’re now 34 and you’re growing up and even if I don’t really know you I can say that I’m so proud of you for everything you have done, you are a real gentleman, sweet, charming, polite, respectful, perfect man I ever know. I love how you can always make someone smile even when they’re sad, I love your child spirit that is the most beautiful thing I ever seen, and your laugh is so contagious that every time I listen to it I can’t stop laughing with you. The way you treat women shows the perfect job that your mom did with you and that is something you got to be proud, thanks to your mom for making you the great man you are today, never stop being that sweet man that loves helping children. I really admire all you have done for many children with terminal conditions to make their lives better, I wish they could be more persons like you. You’re my inspiration, my idol, I really admire you Christopher. And not only for your movies, I admire you for who you really are. You’re not Captain America, Captain America is you. I just can wish you the best for the rest of your live, and to send you a warm hug and a kiss wherever you are. Never change Christopher Robert Evans, please always be the man that I’ve admired for more that 5 years. — Valentina.

Happy 34th birthday to Chris Evans.
“The point is that when I see a sunset or a waterfall or something, for a split second it’s so great, because for a little bit I’m out of my brain, and it’s got nothing to do with me. I’m not trying to figure it out, you know what I mean? And I wonder if I can somehow find a way to maintain that mind stillness.”
