I just realised that the worst part about what Mantah Corp is doing to the dinosaurs is that it’s probably legal.

This falls under animal testing/research, and animal suffering and abuse aren’t factors on whether or not the the tests and research are allowed to be done.

Who are the writers of this show and why are they making Kenji’s toxic behavior out to be a good thing?

Kenji said some horrible stuff to Darius, which up until that point wasn’t even true, because he didn’t want to blame Brooklyn because he had a crush on her, and when he tells her that, Brooklyn’s all like “That’s kinda adorable”

I’m sorry. What?

- Kenji is a 15 year old, yet he takes his anger out on a 12 year old. He is a teenager ripping into an actual child because he won’t blame his crush for something that she did. Who would see that and think “Yep, he’s boyfriend material. That’s so sweet that he did that.”?

- Also, isn’t Darius pretty much Brooklyn’s best friend? Who would date someone that talks to your best friend like that???

A boy being overprotective of you and lashing out at your friends because he has a crush on you isn’t cute, but Brooklyn’s too young, and honestly pretty sheltered, to see that.

And I’m not saying that Kenji’s going to be or is abusive or anything, he’s obviously not, it’s just that the problem is that his behavior was toxic but they never address it at it’s core. He felt bad about being mean to Darius, as he should, but he hasn’t thought over his overprotectiveness of Brooklyn that led up to it. (More specifically, it was her choice, she’s fine and he still brings it up to berate someone else as though he’s just looking out for her. Freaking out over her being kidnapped isn’t what I meant by overprotective.)

Overall, this season was such a mess romance wise, it’s like they didn’t actually think about the reality of what they were writing and what messages they were putting out.

It’s like they forgot that this is a kid’s show. Children are watching this show and now they’re seeing that behavior labeled as cute and endearing.

I really hope they break up in S5.
