Marceline’s BC Update
There are now three spots left so if you guys wanted to join please do looking for more guys as I want an even amount of Guys and Girls.
This is based off Legend Of Zelda so sims are to be like LOZ people but as sims
Hylian (Like Marceline with the pointing ears but all of them should have them)
Rito (as they are birds in LOZ we are creating them with wings)
Zora (as they are aquatic folk in LOZ we are creating them as mermaids)
Guerdo (are warriors and a women only tribe no men allowed)
Shiekah (are ancient warriors, they are the chosen guardians of the Goddess Hylia and were sent to be the protectors and guides of the descendants of her mortal incarnation, the Royal Family of Hyrule)

My #1 post of 2022
My first post in 2022 and I was inspired by @kalissimsblog and @samssims bachlor/bachlorette challenge and wanted to do one myself.
Introducing the Bachelorette Marceline Faron, Daughter of the leaders of Hyrule.
Marceline is looking for love a promise she made to her mother when she passed way two years ago and Marceline’s bestfriend suggested to do this.
Quick Facts about Marceline:

*She has a Distinguished With Honors degree in Computer Science
*She wants adventure she wants to explore Hyrule
*She will and can ramble about Computer Science and Technology that is your only warning
Yeah I’m doing my own Bachlorette Challenge I made the world Hyrule (From Legend Of Zelda) so I will stay invested in it.
I’ll accept eight contestants, Now they are different domains in Legend Of Zelda as you can see from the list and I adjusted them in brackets to work in the sims.

“Do Zora even like hot water?” Link asked, sinking his body into the rushing, torrid waters. Every muscle instantly turning into putty.
“Of course!” said Prince Sidon, smiling brightly, having just found a spot that could submerge his large body completely.
“It's just the water at the Domain is so frigid, I thought you would prefer cold water.”
“True, Zora have adapted to be most comfortable in very cold waters, but hot water has its pleasures too. I don't think I could live very comfortably in hot water all the time, but it is welcome on occasion.”
Link nodded sagely, “That's good to know, I'll have to bring you out here more often.”
Sidon winked, “I would enjoy that.”
After a long pause, with the snow gently falling around them and their inner sense of peace at its peak, Sidon broke the silence with a concern, “Though, there is one thing that is very unpleasant about hot water for Zora.”
“What is that?” Link questioned.
“Getting out of it.”

Varos, “Child of Naydra”
.
Hey I’m finally done with my Leafy Sea Dragon Zora OC for @prisiidon ‘s Zora Mer-May. His name is Varos!
I’m really proud of how this came out, I can’t really express how much this piece and the idea of making a Zora challenged me. I wanted to have him one color but I hadn’t don’t color on digital yet. And I’m also still so new to digital. So I just decided to go for it. It forced me to step outside of my comfort zone and do things I’ve never done before. And I’m so happy for that.
Also some things about this boy here, as I said before he’s based on a Leafy Sea Dragon. I also have a bit of a backstory for him... sort of. He’s an Oceanic Zora that’s lived near and around Eventide Island for most of his life, he’s not sure of his age, however he’s lived almost his entire life in the tropical Necluda Sea. Having been there since he was little older than a child. Which had left him not knowing how to speak the Zoran language, and has many of the behaviors of a young Zora, the only word he knew was his own name being Varos. He may have been alone, however, the sea has always been kind to him. Finding that the ocean’s tides would listen to his calls if he asked it too. So he was never in much danger, a kind creature, he often aided the sailors with his water magic. He was often regarded as a friendly spirit that protected the village, saving those who found themselves caught in storms, or using his powers to wash away forces of the Calamity when they came too close to the village, earning him the nickname “Child of Naydra”.
He found himself in Zora’s Domain after Prince Sidon made a visit to Lurelin Village when he defeated the massive Octorok. Varos had grown tired in his desperate attempts to force the Octorok away. Leaving himself exhausted and injured after having tried to fight off the beast further out even past Eventide Island, the sea carried it’s child towards the shore, where he was found by the Lurelin villagers, they recognized the Zora as their protector spirit but realized that he was simply an adolescent Zora . And sent a messenger to Zora’s domain. Knowing something powerful had done this to their protector.
King Dorephan sent Prince Sidon to investigate, and when he arrived he found Varos. He quickly learned of the valiant efforts of the guardian Zora and how for decades he had protected Lurelin. And upon the arrival of the Octorok, Sidon swore to defeat the beast and protect his brethren and the people who he fought to keep safe.
He later found himself in Zora’s Domain... but that’s not for now, since I may heavily expand upon this.
Just know Varos may have a large crush on Sidon... and also later on Link as well... because who says I can’t HC a gay poly relationship between Link, Sidon and my Zora OC. :)

Queen Mipha character design
Iterating on last year’s body type sketches, here’s a more complete design of Big, Old Mipha for Zora Mermay 2021! Perhaps in the future I’ll make a proper illustration or painting of her in action. For now, I’m pleased to have pinned down a look for her.
Her general size/shape and several accessories are based on King Dorephan’s design, but she still has plenty of her own elements. The...hip ornaments? are based on her original tiara’s sides, and her bracelets and anklets are similar to her existing ones. She still wears her old champion garb with pride, though now as more of a scarf than a wrap. Being around 400 years old, she shows her age in a few places: her size, her jowls, her darkened and faded coloration, and her smaller number of head spots. And of course, she rules the domain with overflowing wisdom and grace that have only grown through the years.

hey, you know what's neat about opals? they really do have water in them, like the item description in BOTW says, making it fitting that they're used to power up the Zora set. but they've also always been associated with love and passion. pretty cool, if you ask me.

As they walked along the shore, Link looked out at the vast expanse of the ocean, this hugely overwhelming body.
“Sidon?” he started, “How come your dad is so big?”
Sidon pondered for a moment, a question that he had asked himself many a time when he was but a zora guppy. “Well, my dad said that when he was a kid, he was even smaller than Mipha. But then he met my mother, he felt so much love in his heart, that his body couldn't hold it all. So he grew and grew and grew so that he could finally carry all the love that was inside him.”
Link and Sidon fell into silence, Sidon's story swirling around in Link's head like the water around their feet. Link finally broke the sound of the rhythmic beat of the waves, “Do you think you'll ever get that big?”
Sidon looked to the sky and then looked down at the tiny Hylian strolling along side him. He reached out his giant hand to clasp the miniature one, “I think I might.”

Okay well here’s an update on my Leafy Seadragon Zora OC for @prisiidon (sorry for another tag) Zora Mer-May 2021! I’m very proud of how he looks and this is really my first full venture into color on digital.
I’ve still got a bit more to do, and this has been such a challenge to do. But I’m learning so much from it and I’m so proud.
