Because I can’t be bothered with logging in to my NHL account to make an actual bracket, I spent hours creating my own (from almost scratch). My reasoning for my choices have absolutely nothing to do with which team I think has a chance to win, because I don't pay enough attention to any team aside from the Pens to have an opinion. Nope, these choices are all motivated by a combination of "I don't like anyone on their team" and WWSD:
Dallas over Vegas (because I’m still not over how VGK treated Flower and the Stars haven’t done anything to offend me lately)
The Avs over the Jets (because Sid may love a bracing Winnipeg winter but I’m think he’s more likely to put a person over a temperature/weather phenomena)
Vancouver over Nashville (because the Canucks rock specialty jersey designs and the Predators and their fans annoy me)
LA over Edmonton (because I have not yet encountered a circumstance under which I would root for the Oilers)
Sunrise over Tampa (because the Panthers have that pork dish for sale at their arena and the Lightning were annoying about their Cup wins, though the Panthers roster having a Tkachuk also offers an annoyance factor)
Boston over Toronto (because I don’t want Toronto to have good things, or false hope; the Panthers can deal with the Bruins in the second round)
Capitals over the Rangers (sorry Mika and Chris, but Trouba)
Hurricanes over Islanders (because the Hurricane Warning third jerseys are cool and not as orange as the Islanders’ Gorton fisherman thirds)
That means, in the second round:
Avs over Dallas (for the Sid factor)
Vancouver over LA (just to keep a Canadian team in the mix)
Panthers over the Bruins (because Boston fans don’t deserve good things)
Hurricanes over Capitals (because that Hurricane Warning third jersey really carries a lot of weight with me)
So the third round becomes:
Avs over Vancouver (because Sid)
Hurricanes over Panthers (see Round 2 reasoning)
Which creates Cup final in which the Avs take the Hurricanes (because I want to see Sid enjoying Nate’s Cup party again this summer).

Hasan Piker Lawyer S/O
Long time comming, dedicated to @gaytoadwithapopsicle and that one anon from a while ago. So, thank you for your paitence and much love.
Request are open, reblogs always welcomed
Hasan’s controversially younger girlfriend, and by that i mean you're like 25-26 years old, so like 6-7 years younger than him. And meet while you 're finishing Law School.
While you were in school he’s so helpful, he;s constantly making sure that when you're studying, you're eating and drinking enough, and that you’re not keeping yourself cooped up too much.
Hasan is a master of scheduling things, if you ever feel like you need help figuring out how to balance your work/life relationship don’t be afraid to ask him. When/if you do ask him, he also adjusts his schedule to make sure that there is time for the two of you to hang out one-on-one, and spend time together without either of you worrying about work.
Once you do work in an office and are out of school, he starts having a day where he just doesn’t stream. Mostly to make sure that the two of you have time together, but also because it helps him make sure that the both of you have a good place to be able to relax in.
If you ever have a case that is bothering you that you can’t really talk about, Hasan is trying everything that he can to help de-stress you.
Also Hasan is like, super interested in the research you do for your cases. If you ever want to ramble for a while about the different subsets of laws and how they apply in different scenarios, he is so invested. He’s asking any and all questions that he can think of.
Even when you’re not actively explaining things, if he ever thinks of a law related question he immediately goes to you, he just puts so much trust in you. I can imagine him totally just messaging you in the middle of streams questions that he has while going through an article with chat. When you respond, he’s always going on and on about how much you know and how impressive you are before he actually talk about the information you gave him.
On stream is a bit different. There is a lot of comments about the age difference, but neither of you let it get anywhere. Hasan sees the most of it, but he also just takes the punches, very “Both of us are grown adults and you’re weird for implying that she’s incapable of making choices about whose appropriate for her to date.” while you are the one who will go on tangents about “You're such a fucking idiot. I'm a full grown adult, I'm not a social media personality, I'm not going into politics. Me being with Hasan brings me absolutely no social or career gain.” or “I’ve been working on my career longer than I’ve been with him and no one in a damn court room cares who im dating. I could be dating Barack Obama and that doesn’t affect my ability to fight a case or argue a point. The fact that you equate a woman’s success to a man she didn’t gain that success from is disgusting. The fact that you think Hasan would do that is disgusting. The fact that your opinion as a jury member could be swayed by who a lawyer is dating, is disgusting. And since you wanna treat me like I’m still in highschool I’ll have you know I was 10 times more mature in freshman year then you will ever be.”
Those few chats that fo get through and you see, usually just result in you ingorign them or lecturing them, however if their ever is one that actually gets to you, to the point of you leaving the room completely. It’s not good. X X

The absolute beginner's guide to Classpects
Hello everyone, welcome to the beginner's guide to Classpects! Now, going into this, I will assume a few things and I want to make sure we're on the same page. Going into this guide, I will assume: ● You have read at least some of Homestuck ● You are aware of the names of each Class and Aspect ● You are aware of Active and Passive alignments
●You are aware of Sburb and how it works
That's all you need to know going into this guide. If you don't remember the names of the Classes and Aspects, don't worry, I'll list them soon enough. If you don't know about the other three, I recommend reading more Homestuck before you try and Classpect yourself. I recommend reading at least past Act 5, but at the very least finish Act 4.
Also worth noting, this guide and all further analyses on this blog will contain heavy spoilers for all acts of Homestuck! If you do not wish to have the story spoiled for you, come back when you've finished the comic. With that, let's begin.
Part 1: Introduction.
Tumblr media
In Sburb, all players are assigned two different parameters relating to their Hero Title. These parameters are their Class and their Aspect. Put together, these form each player's individual Mythological Hero Title, frequently referred to by fans as a "Classpect". I will refer to Hero Titles as 'Classpects' from here on out. Your Classpect is a determiner of only one specific thing: Your role. Now, what is a 'role'? Well, it's just that. It's the role you will perform in the context of a Sburb session. When you put your Class and Aspect together, you get a Classpect. Depending on your Classpect, you will have a specific title relating to both your Class and Aspect put together. The style is "X of Y", with 'X' being your Class and 'Y' being your Aspect. For example, my Aspect is Light, and my Class is Sylph, therefore my Classpect is Sylph of Light. To put it simply, my role boils down to "One who creates Light, or creates through Light". If Sburb were a real game, and I were to play it, that would be the role I would perform in my session. (Though, I'm assuming I'm correct about what my Classpect is, but there really is no way to know for sure, as the game does not exist.) It's a common belief that your Classpect represents your personality, or is based on it. In my opinion, this is a misconception. Now yes, your personality and traits 100% have relevance to your Classpect, but it's not a matter of "You're a Maid of Breath, that means you're friendly". I'll get into what I mean more later, but I wanted to make that point clear. I don't see Classpects as personalities, and I think too many Classpect quizzes treat themselves like personality tests. Bottom line, the main important thing that your Classpect represents is your role. Your purpose. On the topic of Classpect quizzes, let's move on to the next part.
Part 2: Quizzes/Tests
Tumblr media
There exist many quizzes and tests out there online which set out to tell you your own Class, Aspect or both just based on your answers to some questions. A lot of these have a lot of effort and thought put in, but unfortunately, I won't be linking most of them. Like I said, your Classpect is representative of your role in the game. A quiz cannot tell you that. There's only one quiz I consider worth looking at, and the sole reason is because it's technically canon. I'm referring to the Extended Zodiac. A quiz that sets out to tell you your Lunar Sway (An extra element of Sburb that isn't relevant here) and your Aspect. It then puts those together with your astrological sign to give you a "True sign". What's noteworthy about this quiz? It's made by Andrew Hussie himself. That's right, this is the only canon Classpect quiz out there, so surely it's worth something. These special "extended" zodiac signs don't make any appearance in Homestuck, and have no real impact on canon. So, we're left with the quiz. Hypothetically, your answers to this quiz should indicate what your Aspect is. How accurate is it? Me personally, it gives me the Rage aspect. Not technically that far off from Light, but I don't think it's correct.
Here is a link to the test if you wish to take it. Now, if you want to take the answer it gives you and roll with it, and not bother analyzing the Aspects themselves, more power to you. However, if you care about getting the most accurate answer you can, I'd recommend you continue reading. However, this website does offer some valuable info. It offers a page in which it goes in depth about the Aspects themselves and what you can expect from a player of each Aspect.
This part is what I find the most useful and have based a lot of my analysis on. I recommend reading through these for some insight on each of the Aspects. It's also worth noting that this quiz does not determine your Class, nor is there a page for Class analysis. Unfortunately, that's been left up to the rest of us.
Part 3: Aspects
Tumblr media
Aspects have two main components. How they spiritually relate to your role in the game, and what they physically represent. They are the material your Classpect is built out of. If your Aspect is the cookie dough, your Class is the cookie cutter. There are 12 aspects, and I will go over each of them in some depth.
Time
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Time are fighters, full stop. Their lives are often marked by struggle, not so much because fate has it in for them, but because they are fundamentally incapable of just accepting things as they come. They value action over passive acceptance, even if that may not be the wisest or safest choice. Don't try to tell a Time-bound to sit still and look pretty. They are very goal-focused, and tend to value the destination over the journey, and you won't find them making that journey in any traditional sort of way. To quote cheesy posters found on many a guidance counselor's wall-"impossible is just a word". If you need a miracle, they are who you call. At their best, the Time-bound are empathetic and relentless problem-solvers. At their worst they are ruthless, defensive, and impulsive.
Time, literally, represents time. Time passing, wear and tear, timelines, the past, the future, all elements of time itself are at play here. When you think about it, do you really need more? A role relating to time itself kinda, well, speaks for itself. Time players tend to be the ones on the front lines the most. As the Extended Zodiac says, they're fighters. They don't tend to take injustices and strife lying down. They'll prefer to stand up and fight back, even to their own detriment. They might be impulsive and unwilling to compromise in a bad situation, but also make great problem solvers and work incredibly hard on things that matter most to them.
Space
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Space are, as the name suggests, concerned with the big picture. They are patient, masters of the art of 'wait-and-see', and are inclined to take things as they come. That isn't to say that they're pushovers or willing to let injustice lie-they just choose their battles wisely, understanding that sometimes you have to let something burn to the ground in order to build it back better and stronger than before. To this effect, they tend to be innovators, concerned with creation and redemption. Catch them recycling the old to make the new, the fresh, and the beautiful. For the Space-bound, the journey is as, if not more, important than the destination; how they do something is as important as what they do. At their best, they are steady, impartial, and creative. At their worst, they can be detached, apathetic, and vague.
Space represents, you guessed it, space. Not as in, outer space, per se. It represents physical matter, what makes up the world around us. It also represents space, literally. The physical dimensions around us, the space where something might eventually be, even if it currently isn't. Space is two completely different objects, but it's also the distance in between the two. It can be space that's filled, or space that's empty. Space players are the architects of Sburb. They're builders, they construct and maintain. Literally, Space players are tasked with the creation of a new universe. Even past that, they're most focused on building upon what exists and are keen to create something new after watching something burn. They contrast Time players' want to bring down the problem by focusing on what comes next. They're architects, but also carpenters. Planners, but also construction workers.
Heart
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Heart are very concerned with their favorite subject: themselves. It wouldn't be a stretch to call them 'self-obsessed', but not necessarily in a negative way. They simply want to understand the one thing we all are stuck with for our entire lives, i.e. our own minds. Forging an identity is extremely important to the Heart-bound, and every decision and action goes toward building a coherent narrative of their own story. That isn't to say Heart-bound don't care deeply for their friends and allies; they just have a tendency to assume that everyone is as concerned with identity as they are. They are excellent at putting on and taking off masks as the situation calls for them. At their best, they are competent, imaginative, and steady. At their worst they can be overbearing, inflexible, and cold.
Heart represents emotions, irrationality and the Inner Self. Heart is about all types of emotions, whatever you happen to be feeling. Because of this, Heart players tend to think irrationally, and base decisions on emotion rather than logic. This isn't always a bad thing, sometimes your emotions should drive you. They don't exist for no reason. Heart also represents your inner self, the part of you that makes you who you are. You could see this as your soul, or your identity, or your true self. All valid interpretations. At the end of the day, Heart players care a lot about themselves in not a selfish way, moreso a personal growth and potential way. They want to be the best person they can be, and they're some of the most eager to do the work.
Heart players are...one where it's difficult to discern exactly what their role is from their Aspect alone. It really shows how much your Class matters. Heart works much better making up half of a Classpect than it does as a standalone factor.
Mind
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Mind are-you guessed it-the universe's great thinkers. But don't for a second think that means that they have all the answers. They are very concerned with remaining rational, and they have such a firm hold on the constant conjunction of their thinking that it's easy for them to see the multitudes of the choices laid out before them, which often leaves them frozen and unable to act. That said, when a Mind-bound finally launches into action, they can execute a plan with unbelievable grace and precision. Their identity is fluid-it can change from day-to-day, from thought-to-thought, from interaction-to-interaction. Remaining logical is more important to them than building up a solid foundation of "self." At their best they are great innovators, architects, and creators. At their worst they can be nasty, inflexible, and indecisive.
Mind represents logic, decision-making and the Outer Self. Mind is the Aspect of analysis. Of strategy. It's the Aspect most likely bound to those lost in thought. Mind players value rational thinking and making strong decisions over all else. This might make them seem like a hard ass, but that just depends how they carry themselves, and they certainly do. They tend to put on a show instead of portraying how they really feel - they put on a mask.
Hope
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Hope are driven first and foremost by their convictions. They do right for right's sake, and are quick to come to the aid of anyone they deem to be experiencing injustice. That said, their views of the world can be quite black and white, so what they see as the "right" thing may not always be the universally accepted view. They put great value in the power of the imagination, the ability to dream up a better and more beautiful future. If anyone could dream a better world into existence, it would be one of the Hope-bound. They may sound like all sunshine and rainbows, but they aren't adverse to a little destruction, especially if they think they can replace it with something better and more just. At their best, Hope-bound are positive, caring, and warm. At their worst they can be narrow-minded and selfish.
Hope represents belief, dreams, ideas, and naivety. Hope is one of the most optimistic Aspects and no wonder. Hope represents all the possibilities in your mind. Any world you can dream of. Any solution to any problem. Any wish you can make. If this sounds childlike, that's because it is. Hope represents a fundamentally naive view of the world, but goddamn if that won't stop them from dreaming.
Hope players tend to be, well, hopeful. They're the dreamers of Sburb. Literally, they could dream a better world into existence. The journey of a Hope player is not to stop being naive, it's to put that mindset towards progress. Hope players are the team's motivational backbone that rarely falters. Like a beacon of light guiding through the darkness.
Rage
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Rage are bringers of chaos. They posses great contempt for lies or false ideas, including the stability that false ideas can impart. To them, the true is far more important than the good; they would tear down a system just to destabilize it if, by their reckoning, it is built on faulty premises. Often the Rage-bound prefer anarchy to any of the alternate forms of civilization, which they believe to be riddled with lies and foolishness and obedient masses. They are bringers of confusion and doubt, and they can be frustratingly difficult to convince otherwise when they have attached themselves to an idea. If they sound dangerous, they are. The Rage-bound tend to be most volatile and unpredictable of the aspects. At their best they are original, revolutionary, and fearless. At their worst they are cruel, uncompromising, and vicious.
Rage represents truth, anger, realism and skepticism. Rage is, in my opinion, the most misunderstood Aspect of them all. Many believe it represents all negativity and hatred, but that's a view that misses the bigger picture. Rage players value truth, first and foremost. They care far more about what's true than what's good. They'd much rather face a bleak reality than live in denial, and may even look down upon those who do, though most instead would try to help them see the truth. They're intensely skeptical, not out of pessimism, but out of realism. They don't take things on faith. They're usually the first to see through a ruse and are unlikely to be tricked. At the extreme, Rage players tend to cause chaos not because they like chaos, but because that's what usually follows uncovering a bad truth. Rage players are, unseemingly, just as important for team morale as Hope players. When Hope isn't what a team needs, and everyone is having trouble facing the truth, a Rage player leads the way. They're incredibly adept at pushing through the darkness that can't seem to be shone away by Hope. The dichotomy between Hope and Rage is one of the most important things in a session, even one lacking either players.
Light
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Light are the universe's knowledge-seekers. They are, above all, driven to learn and understand. They are great alchemists, able to take multiple sources of information and synthesize them into something useful. They are scholars and researchers, absolutely dedicated to knowledge for knowledge's sake. They are the ultimate students, and although that might conjure up the image of people sitting around peacefully waiting for knowledge to be brought to them, that couldn't be further from the truth. The Light-bound will go after knowledge with a fierce intensity that others may find distasteful. They aren't overly concerned with laws or norms, either. They often take rules as simple suggestions, instead searching for loopholes or work-arounds. At their best, the Light-bound are resourceful and driven. At their worst they can be fussy, pedantic, and insensitive.
Light represents knowledge, clarity, importance, fortune and light itself. It's the Aspect of learning.
Light players tend to be, obviously, knowledge seekers. They strive to learn about whatever it is they intend to learn about and aren't the type to wait for someone to teach them. They love to share their knowledge with others and greatly enjoy discovery.
Void
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Void are the universe's secret-keepers. The unknown doesn't scare them-where others might see emptiness, they see potential. A blank page, an empty canvas, that's what the Void-bound live for. They value mystery and the unexplained, and are not particularly bothered by not having all the answers. Where others might be compelled to go out and seek answers, the Void-bound lean more toward casting doubt on what is already considered fully understood. They don't take much on faith and would rather live in a state of confusion than believe something that might be untrue or bow to intellectual authority. After all, in order for something new to be built, the old, rotting foundation must often be razed. At their best, Void-bound are wise, intuitive, and vibrant. At their worst they can be dismissive, indecisive, and apathetic.
Void represents nothing, darkness, absence of information and secrets. It represents not only what's hidden, but what isn't in the first place. It represents emptiness. Not empty space, literally no space at all. Imagine that, no up, no down, no left, no right, no forward, no backward. What could become of that? That's up to the Void players themselves to decide.
Void players are abstract dreamers. Not dreamers in the same way Hope players are, they instead dream about what doesn't even exist. They create things in incredibly abstract ways that doesn't make sense to a lot of people but they know exactly what they're doing. Their work can seem like miracles simply because nobody knows what they even did. They keep secrets they know must stay hidden, and are adept at hiding things in the first place. They're the hardest players to understand, but they are far from clueless.
Breath
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Breath are, above all, expansive. Flexible and driven, they leave an impact wherever they go. Like the breeze itself, they are able to sweep others up to carry along in their wake, but also like the breeze, they can be difficult to catch hold of or tie down. Although Breath-bound do make very good leaders, breath tends to be a very personal aspect. Often, heroism comes along as an offshoot of them pursuing their own personal stories. They lead by example, and will routinely be surprised that others look up to or feel inspired by them. They have a tendency to underestimate themselves, and not always out of poor self-esteem. They were just doing their own thing. At their best Breath-bound are motivated, adaptable, and forward thinking, but at their worst they can be volatile, avoidant, and gullible.
Breath represents wind, freedom, movement and independence.
Breath players tend to want, above all else, to be free to choose their own path. They don't want others commanding them or choosing for them, they want to do it themself. They can make good leaders, but can also fail to take into account the wants of others. They can seem selfish, but at their best, they care deeply about others. They merely want to forge their own way, without help. They can be practical, offering blunt advice that isn't always the most helpful.
Blood
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Blood draw their strength from bonds, from the trust and camaraderie that blooms among a group of people who all share a single vision. Blood-bound are absolutely leaders, but they inhabit more of an inspirational role than a commanding one. They are prophets, rather than generals, giving others the strength and motivation to keep fighting. The Blood-bound can dispense excellent advice even when their own lives and interpersonal relationships are disasters. They can be very "do as I say, not as I do" types. A Blood-bound can often be found on a sinking ship, forcing an endeavor forward with sheer stubborn force of will. No matter how bad things go, a Blood-bound can always count on friends and allies. At their best, they are charismatic, uplifting, and magnetic. At their worst they can be sullen, unkind, and set-in-their-ways.
Blood represents bonds, friendship, unity and connection. The aspect of kinship, camaraderie. Blood is about the priceless connections between people and what that means to each person.
Blood players work their best in teams. They make amazing leaders, but may be somewhat stubborn in their ways. They work hard for the people they care about and that drives them harder than any other. They also take on a guiding role, willing to show the way and inspire people.
Life
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Life are the universe's healers. They are concerned with the betterment of themselves and those around them, as well as the onward march of positive progress. Deeply empathetic, they have an intuitive understanding of other's suffering and the best way of righting those wrongs. If you're poisoned, chances are the Life-bound have something for what ails ya. This applies to both physical and mental suffering, though it might not be a cure you'll like. They also have the tendency to put other's needs before their own, which never ends well for anyone, because the Life-bound can grow bitter if they feel their own self-care has had to be shunted aside. At their best, they are great listeners, caretakers, and nurturers. At their worst, the Life-bound are passive aggressive, and pushy-they're certain they know best.
Life represents growth, optimism, positivity, defiance and life itself. Life is about growing, changing. Not in the sense of growing old, but in the sense of improvement.
Life players seek the growth and betterment of those around them. They love to see nothing more than somebody improving, though they can forget themself in the process. They're the healers of Sburb, the doctors. If somebody gets injured, you know it's a Life player first to rush to their side. They tend to be optimistic, and rebellious. They aren't afraid to stand up to authority.
Doom
Tumblr media
Extended Zodiac explanation: Those bound to the aspect of Doom are fate's chosen sufferers. It may not sound like an overly pleasant aspect to be aligned with, but it does come along with great wisdom and empathy. The Doom-bound understand that misery loves company, and they are ready and willing to provide said company. The Doom-bound won't fix you; they aren't healers. They are commiserators, aware that sometimes the only thing you can do for a person is let them know that they are not alone in their suffering. They are not the advice friend-they're the friend you go to when you need to vent about a rough day at work. They are not necessarily noble martyrs, either-the Doom-bound can become quite irate about their lot. At their best they are wise, kind, and non-judgemental. At their worst, bitter, resentful, and fatalistic.
Doom represents death, fate, pessimism, wisdom, rules and doom itself. Doom represents inevitability. Fate reaches us all, and Doom encapsulates that entirely. It represents rules, and Doom players know full well why rules are rules.
Doom players tend to suffer. It sounds bad, but they're some of the most wise and comforting people to be around. They've been through it all and have an aura of sympathy that's indescribable. They tend to be pessimistic, but because of how much they've suffered. They tend to assume the worst in all situations.
Part 4: Classes
Tumblr media
Classes represent how exactly you use and perform through your Aspect. Like I said: The Aspect is the cookie dough, the Class is the cookie cutter. However, before I delve into Classes, let's talk about Active/Passive alignment. A lot of debate has gone into what exactly Active and Passive mean, but I'm going to take a very simple approach.
Active: Perform your role for yourself
Passive: Perform your role for others
This will be my reading on Active/Passive alignment going forward. Best to keep things simple when we know so little.
Classes, like Aspects, come in pairs. Unlike Aspects, each pair serves a nearly identical function, with the exception that one is Passive, and the other is Active. It's up for debate which Classes are Active and which are Passive, and how exactly they're paired up, but I will do my best.
Stealing Classes (Thief/Rogue)
Tumblr media
Thief (Right) and Rogue (Left) share the role of Stealing their Aspect or stealing through their Aspect. Thief being Active means they do it for themselves, Rogue being Passive means they do it for others.
Destroying Classes (Prince/Bard)
Tumblr media
Prince (Left) and Bard (Right) share the role of Destroying their Aspect or Destroying through their Aspect. Prince is Active, therefore doing it selfishly, and Bard is Passive, therefore doing it selflessly.
Creating Classes (Maid/Sylph)
Tumblr media
Maid (Left) and Sylph (Right) share the role of Creating their Aspect, or creating through their Aspect. Maid is Active, therefore doing it selfishly, and Sylph is Passive, therefore doing it selflessly.
Influencing Classes (Witch/Heir)
Tumblr media
Witch (Right) and Heir (Left) share the role of Influencing their Aspect, or influencing through their Aspect. This, however, is where it gets tricky. Witch is pretty straightforward. Witch is Active, and Influences their Aspect or through their Aspect. Their influencing is a bit more like manipulation. Their can almost bend their Aspect to their whim. Incredible control over it. Heirs, however, are a bit different. Heirs are Passive, and influence their Aspect in an odd way. Some people describe this as them inheriting their Aspect, this definition is even better with the Class being named "Heir". However, I think the better definition is embodying their Aspect. Heirs passively influence their Aspect or through their Aspect by embodying it. They almost "become" their Aspect. Complicated and roundabout, I know. Get used to it.
Knowing Classes (Mage/Seer)
Tumblr media
Mage (Right) and Seer (Left) share the role of Knowing about their Aspect or knowing things through their Aspect. Seer is straightforward. Seer is Passive, and gains knowledge about their Aspect or through their Aspect by external means. Mage is a bit more complex. Mage is Active, and gains knowledge by experiencing their Aspect or experiencing through their Aspect and gaining a deep, intuitive knowledge of their Aspect, or whatever their Aspect helped them learn.
Exploiting Classes (Knight/Page)
Tumblr media
Knight (Left) and Page (Right) share the role of Exploiting their Aspect as a weapon or exploiting through their Aspect. Knight is simple. Knight is Active (I will fight you on that one), and exploits their Aspect as a weapon or exploits something else as a weapon through their Aspect. Pages, however, are a doozy. Pages have the unique trait of starting sessions of incredibly weak, with a deficit in their Aspect. However, if they reach their maximum potential, they're by far the strongest Class. Pages are Passive, and equip others with their Aspect to fight. This is my very best reading of Page's role, but it's still really difficult to work out.
Part 5: Conclusion
Tumblr media
That should just about wrap up my beginner's breakdown of Classpects! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! I hope all this info isn't overwhelming for somebody trying to learn.

for your ask game, reading your post about William's apology to Fue made me interested in what you think about William as a character in general?
Y'know, this is a more than reasonable ask
And as much as I think that William does owe Fue an apology, and how much I think that William went against his entire position in the society by doing what he did:
I don't think that William is a bad person.
Because, as I've been trying to rack my brain about his reasons for doing what he did, I've been thinking about the premises that lead him into that position.
William is noble born, but he was cursed with a scar, which I believe has, at least been interpreted, as a mark of shame of what noble did to the elves. Why specifically have it on William, instead of all nobles, is lost on me, but could have to do with the fact that he had Patry's soul in him. Which... is poor tactics in my opinion, because you're essentially flagging the leader of your cause. Not to mention that it could have very well landed William into a position where he couldn't have pulled off the events in the same way as a captain. I just think it was a sign of poor planning.
But in any case, it was because of this scar that William was disowned by his family and sent to live among commoners. I can't imagine how abandoned he must've felt because of this, and I don't think that, wherever he lived, he was exactly welcomed with open arms either for the same exact reason as to why he was disowned. Meaning that he spent most of his life alone. And he must've been lonely for a good portion of his life. If we combine this with the idea that William was a child when Patry started talking to him, and Patry was then the only friend, only source of emotional support William had prior to Julius, then the idea of having to choose between duty and a personal wish, becomes more tangible in William's decision making.
However, that being said, William gained a father figure, and this plan, the "personal wish" of his best friend, involved killing his father figure. So, there should have been a 'personal wish' vs. 'duty + personal wish', which logically would imply that William shouldn't have given in to Patry. But then again, Patry stated that William "couldn't choose", meaning that William didn't want to sway in favour of anyone, perhaps out of the ingrained fear of abandonment, and let Patry do all the choosing when it came to the crucial events. But... William should also have known what Patry was going to do, since I doubt he was being subtle about it. And so, in choosing to let Patry choose, William chose too.
Outside of that decision, William seems humble enough. His office has only the bare bones of a study and a bedroom, even though he could certainly afford to have a nicer room, like the rest of the Golden Dawn members, meaning that it was a personal decision to keep it as it is. He isn't materialistic.
And, though it's anime only, so... depending where you draw the line of canon -canon, he did own up to it (his mistakes) during the Devil Believer arch. He is wearing the scar out in the open, so in a way I think that he considers it as a badge of shame, and by showing it, he is owning up to his wrong doings. Even if he doesn't verbally admit it. (As a side note, I think these little things are also important for Fuegoleon to see and consider.)
Also, if we add William's story in being a sacrifice for the tree of Qliphoth, it almost feel like William is a lamb being lead from one slaughterer to the next.
Yeah, that's it, I think. He's being lead from one slaughterer to the next. And I'm not sure how consciously he realizes it. So, I suppose that I think that...
William is a tragic character
Thank you for the ask ^^

Hello TAJ my name is K. I stumbled upon your unique approach to jikook in which i welcome and accept. I've been meaning to sort out my true feelings towards jikook but ppl might come for me negatively and violently. Don't get me wrong, i support them and i love the idea of them being real. But with the Korean society standards i don't think it's gonna happen although they have this incredible chemistry that i can't pin point but it's just THERE. I'm sorry if I'm not making any sense but i don't really think that jikook are living tgt. It's a reach lol. I've privately talked to ppl claiming they are 'insiders' proving them but LETS BE REAL here. Anyways have you experienced ever dealing with those kind of people? I frankly find them quite annoying and I'm trying to cleanse them out of my own jikook bubble of interactions. How can i politely disagree with them without being labeled as "hater"?
Hi, K!
However you feel about Jikook is really up to you, and I know that it must feel sucky to not want to say those things without a filter for fear of retribution. I ask anyone that submits an ask to honor their feelings and opinions, no matter how you sway. How much you think Jikook is Real is not a real measurement; it's only a way for others to discern who they want or don't want in their space. The minimum requirement of a Jkkr, in my opinion, is to love the both of them as individuals and liking how they connect with one another, but in what way they connect is up to the shipper (if one ships at all).
That being said, I'm on the same boat where I don't think anything conclusive will happen unless Korea makes great strides for LGBTQ+. That's not to say they can't be a couple on the downlow, but there are a lot of things to factor in when determining what's possible for a potential relationship between them to succeed.
I also don't think they're living together, but a lot of supporters are convinced they are, which is all fine. I've said it before and I'll say it again, but I don't feel like there's a valid reason for Jkkrs to get mad at anyone for not thinking they live together. Co-living or not isn't indicative of a relationship.
As for advice? I ignore people I disagree with because realistically, there are more of them who are willing to band together and cancel others. I don't have the same intense feelings towards shipping as others do, so it's really no sweat off my back. But if you're stating your case on your own account, and some weirdo comes to you and goes off, block them. That's the healthiest thing you can do for yourself.
If you're currently engaged in a discussion, the best solution I can offer is for you to state your case as politely as possible, but leave it open-ended for them to feel like their opinions on Jikook's situation is just as valid (because it is, if they have a healthy mindset about it). That would be my personal approach to it. If you're being nice, but they still get all red in the face and it stops being a nice discussion, just know that the problem is now with them. Then block them.
Fact is, you're going to be labeled a "hater" if your comment has reached enough Jkkrs' attention. But I wouldn't let that get you down because that's more of a reflection on them than it is you. And yes, I have received death threats and name-calling for not being a ~true Jikook supporter~, but I view those people as like... untrained, antisocial, insecure pets with shitty upbringing. It really puts it into a more hilarious perspective for me.

NO ARTWORK POSTED IS MY OWN AND IS FOUND ON PINTEREST
—————————————————————————-
Let’s retrace your steps, you went to the party, you talked to Denki, got your drink spilled on you, went to the bathroom, then- nothing. You remember nothing else. There was no way you could have got that drunk, right? Taking a bite out of the godly crepes that Aizawa made, you snuck a peak at him, blushing because he was perfect. Oh how lucky you were that he couldn’t hear your heartbeat or how it was rapidly beating against your chest. Maybe he did and was being polite and ignoring it….
“Is the headache any better Y/N?” Meeting Aizawa’s concerned eyes, you smiled softly and nodded. “Yes, thank you for the coffee and medicine. You’re a lifesaver.” Aizawa tsked at your proclamation, waving you off, “I’ve just had a few too many hangovers myself to know how much it sucks.” The corners of your lips quirked upward as you nodded, this felt so- natural… maybe a little too natural. “I can give you a ride home little goddess… if you’d like one”
Contemplating the king's words, you smiled and nodded, “I’d like that very much.”
:readmore:
Aizawa tried his best not to blush at your smile that was directed towards him, “I-you can wear one of my shirts and sweatpants if it’s more comfortable? I don’t have any female clothes… I apologise” Why was it that finding out he had no female clothes made you happy? Maybe it’s because of the hint behind it, that he has no female clothes because there are no females over at his house. Shaking your head, you smiled at him, “It’s fine, it’s not your fault. But I could use a jacket or sweatshirt… it’s rather chilly here”
Chuckling, Aizawa nodded and leaned on his palm looking at you, “This is the underworld… Plus I may be friends with Hizashi but I don’t think I could handle him around so much to help bring sun here.” Giggling You smiled at the man, goosebumps running over your skin as a shiver went down your spine. “I rather favor the moon myself” Bottom lip pulled between your teeth as you blushed at your own comment about your mother, thinking how you probably sounded silly. But, amidst Your self doubt, the ravenette laughed, almost a sparkle in his eye. “I think that’s a rather biased opinion, wouldn’t you agree?”
Laughing, you blushed as you nodded, “I think I should be allowed the bias, wouldn’t you agree?” Aizawa shrugged slightly, a teasing look in his eyes as both elbows laid in front of him, letting him lean forward, “You don’t see my favouring Titans now do you? And I am the son of two of them.”
A giggle left your lips as you brought the warm coffee up to your lips and took a sip, “Hmm… touché”. Aizawa sighed in content before slightly frowning as he remembered you can’t stay here… you have a life beyond this place. You didn’t belong being trapped here with him. You deserved so much more in his eyes. Noticing his cold, yet warm stare, you tilted your head as you met his eyes. “Shouta?”
Snapping out of his thoughts, he blushed slightly before coughing to try and cover up his embarrassment, “I- sorry… I was just daydreaming I guess.” Cracking a slight smile, you could see his teeth that were just begging to be shown on full display, but of course they never were. The thought alone of being able to make shouta smile like that, made your heart warm in funny ways. They always did say that god's feel stronger emotions than any other being.
They love faster. They love harder. But they also fight harsher. They also hold grudges the longest. And they also feel the worst of pains. Sighing, you just finished your coffee before a shiver ran down your spine. “Ah, that’s right, you need something warmer” Blushing at his own forgetful mind, shouta walked until he was out of the kitchen and rummaging through his closet for something warm.
*•*
Being left alone gave you more time to look around and appreciate every little detail of the king's house. Taking in the details you started thinking of what it would be like to live in such a house, to dance around on the marble floors. To have x amount of bedrooms to choose from. To sit in the study with the king himself while reading a book that can’t even be found anymore…
“I got you a crew neck sweater of mi- Y/N?” You jumped slightly as you didn’t even hear him coming, blushing you moved to cover your face. “Oh gods- I’m sorry! I was lost in thought.” Smiling at your flustered face, Aizawa moved to stand in front of you, grabbing your wrists gently to tear your hands away from your beautiful face. “Don’t Apologize little goddess, wasn’t I just the one spacing out?”
Peeking up at him, you automatically loosened up from his soft look and touch. Nodding softly to agree, because you couldn’t trust your voice to be straight. There was something so peaceful about the silence that surrounded the both of you, it was so quiet that all that filled the air was your own breaths. In such a trance, neither of you noticed how close your faces had got, not until your lips feathered against each other.
Eyes now only focusing on the temptation of kissing the king's lips, to taste him, to devour him. Your rational side flew out the window as you stood straighter and finally gave into your desires. Shouta wasted no time kissing you back, large hands cupping your cheeks as your own gripped onto his robe. If there was any plus side to how gods feel, it was that they wasted no time in showing the passion you were bound to create.
His teeth grazed your bottom lip, almost asking if he could explore you more, and how could you say no to a king? Lips parting, your tongues moved one another as shouta got more dominant with his movements. Hands moved from your face to cup your ass and place you on the counter, your legs spreading to let him be as close to your body as possible. The simple motion was graciously accepted by the man as he held your waist to hold your body against his. Breaking away slightly for air, you both panted as you stared at each other, almost as if you were both giving the other an out if they didn’t want to do this.
Neither of you spoke as Aizawa dipped down once more to capture your lips in a much slower, but much sweeter embrace. Your hands crept up to cup his jaw, just holding him there as this kiss spilled more feelings then the one before. No longer did you need that sweater as your body was hotter than it ever was, not to mention how the Male in front of you was warm and welcoming. Against his better judgment, Aizawa pulled away once again, letting his eyes close as he rested his forehead on your own, lips grazing your nose in a loving manner.
Taking this time, you observed the man up close for the first time, taken away with how truly beautiful he was. Fingers gently brushing the scar that rested on his cheek bone, mouth forming into a frown as you thought about what could have happened. Almost like reading your mind, his deep voice broke the silence, “I got it from the war… There's many more where that came from, but that’s the price for how we live today.”
Dark eyes finally opening to meet your own that were full of warmth and comfort, Aizawa merely moved to hug you close as his head nuzzled itself into your shoulder. Something so soft coming from the one they deemed the scariest god, was truly surprising, but you didn’t let it sway your motions as you hugged him back, one hand finding itself in his hair. “I hope you don’t think of me as a man who does this with just anyone… I would very much like to take you out tonight if you’d all-”
“I would love to Shouta… a-and I don’t. Think like that I mean… I hope you don’t think I’m a goddess who just kisses men whenever she wants.” Your voice Interrupting his own, but it wasn’t unwanted. As soon as your voice disappeared from the air, Aizawa was already answering. “I don’t. I think rather highly of you little goddess. Higher than most.”
Smiling at his comment, you moved your head so you could press your lips to his temple softly. Leaning your head on his, you let your eyes close to enjoy this moment, wanting to bask in all its glory before it inevitably had to end.
*•*
As you thought, the moment wasn’t meant to last forever. Interrupted by a loud bang that represented a door being kicked down, followed by a loud, “I AM HERE FOR FAMILY LUNCH!”. Groaning, Aizawa quickly picked you up off the counter and placed you back onto your own two feet. It would have seemed rude if he hadn’t quickly placed the sweater on your figure and stood in front of you, wanting to hide you from his annoying brother.
Trying your best to stay hidden behind the dark haired man, you both could hear the loud stomps coming towards you. Quickly thinking, Aizawa turned around to face you, giving you an apologetic look as he did, “Trust me I’m saving us both from a lot of trouble” and before you could respond, lips met your forehead in a rushed kiss and you were suddenly back at your house. Of course he fizzed you back… come to think of it, you could have also done that this morning… oh well you made out with him because you had a dumb moment.
Back in the underworld, blonde tufts came into view and Aizawa gave him a bored expression, “and you barged into my house, because?”. Toshinori just laughed before ruffling Aizawas hair, “Older brother, have you forgotten what day it is? Rei sent me just to pick you up since we all know you like to skip or show up late. So for now I’m your chauffeur for family lunches!” With his eye twitching, Aizawa knew he wasn’t getting out of this. Grumbling, he walked past his brother and quickly changed into a more casual outfit of a black turtleneck and dark grey dress pants.
Without even stopping for toshinori, Aizawa walked past him just mumbling about how no one has boundaries or respect. The blonde merely laughed before walking with him to the car, but of course not mentioning the heels he saw next to his brother's front door.
The drive was nothing but quiet and longer than it seemed. Aizawa had no intention of making small talk with his brother, since he had rudely interrupted his morning. His morning with the goddess that seemed to have latched onto his heart, with no intention of letting go, not that he minded. As they arrived at the glorious manner of the golden royals of Olympus, they were greeted with a yelling Touya- no Dabi now since he wanted to separate himself from his father as much as he could.
Eyebrows furrowing, Aizawa could See Natsou already with a glass of wine, laughing at how his father tried dodging his brother's angry attacks. Shouto on the other hand, was making deadly knives and giving them to his brother to help him. Fuyumi was trying to stop them both as rei just smoked a cigarette on the side, looking at the men with an unamused expression. Fuyumi quickly thought of a plan to stop the god of war, aka her brother, from killing her father. Of course she was able to stop them since she was the goddess of war, her brother's counterpart.
Once it was all calmed, the brothers got out of the car, preparing themselves for an interesting family lunch.

The Gentleman of The Jury
(Short Story)
Tumblr media
"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury. Now that you have heard all of the evidence and arguments of the council, it becomes my duty to give you instructions considering the law which governs this case and remind you of the most important points essential for your consideration: The defendant has been charged with attempted murder, the crime being committed with extreme malice towards the victim. As of until now, the attacker still hasn't shown any signs of remorse."
The "victim" the judge referred to sat in his wheelchair about as lively as a rock on a flowerbed and more quiet, with a large neck brace around his throat. The doctors claimed he'd recover eventually and spoke again, however I'd rather see he didn't.
On the other hand, I couldn't have cared less who the poor chap accused of my own crime was. I didn't even bother to recall his name.
When I had been summoned for the jury duty, the last thing I expected was to see the man I had put in that wheelchair days before. He deserved it. Or at least I have been trying to convince myself he did. It was a well welcomed coincidence, being here among other jurors. It gave me yet another chance to put my plan into action.
"To determine the facts, you must consider only the evidence I have admitted in this case. This to say: The scene was a public place, so it is on you to decide upon the reliability of the fingerprints and footprints. You are to discuss the defendant's lack of alibi and his relationship to the victim. And lastly, take in your consideration the DNA found at the crime scene with the direct match to defendant. There may be some doubts if it were hair or skin sample, but the fresh blood?"
My lips curled in a small smile. Oh yes, I remember that. It was one of my best ideas yet. It didn't matter whose blood I got as long as it wasn't mine. Just someone else's and bonus points if that someone else lived in the same complex or at least near the victim. It helped a great deal that I had been able to score his moody neighbour.
"You must not be swayed by bias or favour nor you are permitted to be governed by sympathy or public opinion."
The judge's speech bored me immensely, not to mention the entire procedure as a whole. I tuned out pretty fast. The only thing I wanted was to go and convince the rest of the jury of this man's guilt. I spent the rest of my time seated on the bench, trying not to fall asleep while gawking at my victim.
It was never in my intention to mess him up this bad and I surely didn't expect the investigators to pull DNA from what I had planted. After all, this guy was no one. Just some silly comrade, who decided to steal from the wrong person. Deep down I might even felt for him a little if I tried hard enough.
My plan all along had been: poor guy steals from me, I rough him up a tiny bit and he pays up. It was as simple as that. I suppose some steps could have been be added though. Like for example, me ending up among the jury, about thirty feet away from the man.
I tuned back into our wonderful judicial system, when I and my victim locked eyes. He squinted at me hard, as if he was looking for something or remembering something particular.
Shit.
My eyes fell on the floor and I drew a deep breath. I needed to play it cool. I was just paranoid. Just paranoid, but he kept glaring in my direction. There was no doubt. He knew who I was.
The room started heating up. Nobody else seemed to feel the change, but I was sweating. My stomach turned and my throat tightened to the point I could barely breath. The air was too stifling. My shaking hands stayed ice-cold.
"You may now proceed to the jury room for deliberations. Remember, you're decision must be an unanimous one. When you have reached an unanimous verdict, have your jury Foreperson fill out and sign the Jury Verdict form. After that you'll be lead back in here."
I let out a sigh of relief, I couldn't say a second longer in the courtroom with this broken, wide eyed man. These were the words I have been waiting for the entire afternoon. Now came the best part. It was my time to shine!
We entered the room right out of a movie scene; carpeted floors, large wooden table and twelve wooden chairs around it. As everyone took a seat, I seized the opportunity and spoke first.
"Alright, people. It is clear to me that none of us wants to stay here a moment more than needed, so let's just get this over with. I say there is no doubt of the defendant's guilt. It happened on the street, yes, but fingerprints, footprints and blood on the victim's clothing? Not to mention his lack of alibi. Or the quarrel they had only a few days prior to this incident."
Most of the jurors nodded in agreement, but two or three of them appeared to need more convincing.
"Yes, but how do we know the accused really is our guy. I mean, what if he was set up? I'd hate to frame someone innocent." Said the young woman on my right. I managed to forget her name as soon as I hear it.
I leaned back and let them discuss this possibility, the woman's voice still ringing in my head. I'd hate to frame someone innocent. I'd hate to frame someone innocent. Again my thoughts returned to the crippled victim back in the courtroom, his dark eyes staring directly into my soul. He knew it was me who attacked him and then framed his intolerable but innocent neighbour. I'd hate to frame someone innocent. What if they were already coming for me? Confessing my crimes was the only right thing to do. I would never frame someone innocent!
"Sir. Sir? It's your turn. What do you say: guilty or not guilty? We still need your vote to be unanimous."
I paled, but stood my ground. It was the right ting to do. Today was the day.
"That man's beyond a shadow of a doubt guilty. Guilty!" I state loudly.
Well, I guess I'll come clean some other time.
Perhaps.

Not sure if this has been done, but can I request 38 and 110 (Reader to Merlin)? As angsty and/or fluffy as possible! Side note, I hope everything gets better for you! You're one of my favorite blogs and I check in almost every day! Its such good content, I can never get enough!
Pairing: Reader x Merlin.Warnings: None.Word Count: 654Prompts: “Stop looking at me like that.” / “If you walk out that door, don’t you dare think about coming back.”A/N: I apologise for this...
You’d known that you were making the right choice for yourself when you accepted the undercover mission in New Zealand. You hadn’t really gotten a chance to talk to Merlin about it before you left, but you hoped he’d understand – you needed to do this for you.
So, one Monday morning you got out of bed early and hopped on a plane to an entirely different country for four months. You still had contact with Harry and Arthur who were co-ordinating the mission, but Merlin never contacted you.
You waited every single day for a message from him – for anything from him. But nothing. You’d even tried to contact him a few times, but he still never replied to any of your messages. Harry and Arthur wouldn’t tell you a damned thing.
You were nervous when you got off the plane four months later, finally arriving back in London. It had been so long since you’d been here, but you missed it. You missed the chaos of the city, you missed everything about it. You missed Merlin. The fact that what had driven you away from London was still here somewhat swayed your opinion on the city, but still, this was home.
When you pushed open the door of your apartment, you didn’t expect balloons and a banner welcoming you home. You knew better than to expect anything like that, especially considering Merlin hadn’t spoken to you in the whole four months the you’d been away.
You let out a breath as your apartment door closed behind you.
Merlin was sitting at the dining table, his head resting on his hands. He looked at you, and you could have sworn he’d never looked at you like that before. It broke your heart.
“Stop looking at me like that,” you muttered, setting your suitcase and coat down.
“How ‘m I supposed t’ look at y’?” He asked, raising his eyebrows.
You winced, walking further into the room. “Hamish,” you said, your voice soft.
He shook his head. “Don’t, Y/N, don’t.”
You sighed, bracing yourself on the back of a chair. “Listen, I–I’m sorry, Hamish, I–“
“Y’ not, though,” he said. “Y’ wouldn’t have taken tha’ damned mission if y’ were. Y’ would have stayed here in London so we could work things out together. As a couple. Like we were supposed t’ after somethin’ like that.”
You expected this, you really did. But after everything that had happened six months ago, staying in London was toxic and there was no way you could stay there another day. Merlin, to your dismay, just so happened to be part of that. Still, you’d been holding on to the last string of hope for months, just wishing that you could talk and fix it all when you were home.
“I had to do it, Hamish,” you exclaimed. “If I stayed in London a day longer, I would have broken apart even more. I was dying, Hamish. Being here was killing me. Don’t you understand that?”
He was standing now, his hands clenched in fists at his side. “O’ course I understand tha’, but don’t y’ understand that I was in pain too? Don’t y’ understand that I needed y’ here?”
You closed your eyes, trying to regulate your breathing.
You opened your eyes at the sound of his feet walking across the floor and toward the door, you reached out to grab the sleeve of his jumper, pulling him to a stop. “If you walk out that door,” you began, your voice breaking, a tear sliding down your cheek. “don’t you dare think about coming back.”
Hamish shook his jumper sleeve out of your grip and turned to you, his eyes teary. He went to speak, opening his mouth, but nothing came out. You watched as he walked to the door of your apartment, opened it, walked outside and closed it.
He didn’t come back.
