Made an enemy for the custom mission maker in City of Heroes

I think she's honestly pretty cool looking... cool enough I may actually have to make her as a real character. Like I'm just doing this for the badges for making a mission, but that doesn't mean I'm not gonna put some effort in, and I'm pretty pleased with how she came out

(The minion I made is pretty decent too, chick in a hockey mask with a short mohawk and a baseball bat)

Anyway, just kinda felt like sharing the malnourished, radiated, weirdo with a chain sword I made as an enemy (at first I gave her a katana for the powerset, and the animations were way too whimpy for a chain sword, so switched to titan weapons)

Also, I was lazy about how I recorded this, and I think there might not be audio when I'm tabbed away to stop and start the record... ignore it if you would, cause whatever

#also one of the badges is for having a full group of 8 in your party while testing... how dumb is that? #quite a few badges I just need more people for... unless I want to invite randos to do dumb stuff like arena fights #like for one badge you need two teams of 5 with certain archetype choices #so I'd need 10 people to get that badge #doing a pick up group for a strike force is one thing; the leader usually knows what they're doing if it's complex #like I joined one today where we beat the (I think) hardest villain side strike force in under 20 minutes #which the people running it to speed run it seemed to be impressed by #(I probably didn't help; cause my badger is a tank and has low dps; and in this case damage is speed I'm pretty sure) #but that's one thing #asking randos to come together and let you win in an arena for a badge is another thing (even if you'd return the favor) #like if it's my last few badges I probably would just bite the bullet; but... rather do it with people I actually know

what's funny about parkour is it's about facing challenges. but at the same time also about running away

my top bit of advice going into the new year: compliment people. especially strangers. literally everyone you interact with if you can. when you buy coffee in the morning compliment the barista's tattoos. when you're chatting with a coworker tell them that by the way you like their outfit. always find something they've chosen to do on purpose. nail polish, jewellery, tattoos, hair colour/style, statement accessory, outfit, etc are all good bets. things people hope will be noticed. things that aren't too personal so it doesn't make them uncomfortable (eg probably not their physical features). i've gotten into the habit of scanning everyone i talk to for something about them that i think is cool so i can tell them. it's a great habit because it makes me notice people and realise just how many neat little details there are in people's presentation of themselves that might pass me by if i wasn't paying attention. and it brings out so much joy. you'd be surprised how much it disarms people to receive an unexpected compliment from someone they don't know. it is the most sincere smile you will see all day long. it feels nice to make people happy but it also means you win the social interaction. establish dominance by complimenting a stranger's earrings and disappearing into the fog
