things about durarara that i got upset about

Namie having absolutely no character development at all

Not showing that part where Izaya has a mini crisis because his feelings for Shinra were making him doubt his own plans

minor thing but the design for Manami Mamiya came out in the manga way before they showed her in the anime and i wish they stuck with her original design (not that i dislike the design in the anime) but the whole thing about durarara is that they're a bunch of "normal" people put into extraordinary situations so it would have been more in line with that theme if she looked more like a regular old background character

i actually hated the animation for season 2 and onwards because it kind of lost character... Im super bitter about Shizuo's nice jawline in season 1 becoming a god damned dorito

the izaya centric episode with earthworm wasn't executed as well as it was in the light novels

And listen i love shinra i really do but ya'll gotta understand that he manipulated celty and withheld very important information from her just so she'd stay in his life. Like Celty was so distraught about her head being lost and Shinra made it so that she couldn't get her head and slowly convinced her that she didn't need it

I know they talked it out in the end but Shinra's still a piece of shit you know and i love him but i also hate him he is terrible
