I just found some old yokai watch fanart (like about a year old) and so I decided I’d post it. Here’s some art of my ideas for new robot yokai:

This was the first one I did, I like roughraff and I feel like it needs more love. I rly like the colors on this one.

I only did coughkoff cause it’s sort of a counterpart to roughraff (they’re the 2 yokai u can fuse with jibanyan in ykw1). The “face” is part security camera and part HAL-9000 (cause I watched 2001: A Space Odessey the day before drawing this lmaoo). It’s very simple but I was just trying to figure out digital art at the time, plus I bet there’s barely any Coughkoff fanart out there.

Best for last, this is my favourite one of these. It was originally a concept for robo-dimmy but I realized it doesn’t have any robot elements so I guess it’s be called like, holodimmy or something. I love Dimmy, one of my favs and was on my original ykw1 team so I rly like this design, I wish it was real.

For those who have more than one TWST OC: you can only do four or fewer challenge drawings. But they all must be in their own separate card drawing!

Your OC must be wearing either their school or dorm uniform. Also, they have to be wearing one of the following Yo-Kai Watches: original watch, Fumi's pocket watch-styled, Model Zero, Model U (this one has five other different colors), or Dream Model. Except for Fumi's pocket watch-styled, which is worn around the neck, all watches are worn on the left-hand wrist.

Make sure you add a Yo-Kai to your drawing(s). And they must be from the Yo-Kai Watch series (not including Shadowside or Academy Y). Also, you are only allowed to add two or fewer Yo-Kai in each card drawings.

Make sure you write in your post what Yo-Kai and yo-kai watch you use for your drawing(s)!

If you have your own Yo-Kai OC (from Yo-Kai Watch), you are allowed to use that to your drawing.

Here’s a little scene for Azriel’s backstory, part of how he escaped the Infinite Inferno.

I’ve been stuck here for Enma knows how long. It’s most likely been years. I’ve seen others being cast into this hellish prison with me. Well no, not hellish. Hell. It is hell. I’m in hell. I’m in hell because I dared to try and make the world a better place.

Something is different now, I can sense it. I don’t know what’s different, but something is. I get up, and I wander as I usually do.

Hm. Something is definitely different. Where did that blue thread come from?

It seems to be going… up. Things in the Infinite Inferno only go down, down, down… what’s this now?

I climb up the thread- it’s surprisingly strong for something that looks so fragile.

It’s at the top I’m greeted by a spiral floor, and other Yo-Kai I’ve never met before.

“Welcome to ze divine paradise!” A fat yellow cloud tells me in a French accent. “I’ve never seen you before! My name is Happierre!”

“My name is Azriel,” I say, taken aback by the yo-Kai’s kindness. “The divine… paradise?”

“Did you come from ze Inferno?” Happierre asks, and I sense if I tell the truth I’ll be cast back into the hell from whence I came.

“…No,” I lie.

“Ohohohoho! You must be a new friend who will join ze select few up here!” Happierre laughs. “Come, follow me, we must see the Master!”

“Master?” I take a step back. “I don’t bow down to anyone!”

“Very well,” Happierre said, smiling. “You may find her on your own! She is very powerful, do not underestimate her!”

“Who’s she?” I ask, but Happierre refuses to answer.

“I gave you a chance,” he said, “and you blew it!”

“Fine. Be that way,” I say, glaring at Happierre. “If you aren’t going to help me, I’ll make you.” And with that, the golden eye on my collar glows, sucking a green aura from Happierre, draining his powers away until he’s left lying on the tatami floor.

“You… you came from ze inferno, didn’t you?” He asks, and I just smile back.

“Thank you for your help,” I say, suddenly feeling much happier. “I’ll make sure to spare you when I break out.”

And I left the poor yo-kai there, unable to do anything but worry.

And I made my way to the mysterious “master” of the Divine Paradise.

I was going to break out of here, no matter what.
