Confidence Boost

Okay, okay… I know I already posted a Wind Breaker fic… BUT LOOK OKAY? I recently started the manga and I freaking LOVE it. I thought of this fic while reading the manga and knew I wanted to write it. I tried to find a good shot of Suo and Sakura as a pic header but I couldn’t so I just settled on a pic of grouchy Sakura <3

Warnings: None really but there are some manga spoilers in here so beware. Also this is a tickle fic so if that’s not your thing then feel free to just keep scrolling lol.

Summery: Suo wants to help Sakura feel more confident

Suo smiled as he leaned back in his chair. “I don’t know what’s got you so fussed. You wanted to be leader didn’t you? Didn’t you want to climb your way up and stuff?”

Sakura glared at the earring dangled boy. “N-not like this! I.. I don’t freakin’ know how to… lead a damn class…”

Suo chuckled lightly. “Oh Sakura, it’s just class leader, and it’s just for the first years too. You’ll be fine. Besides, I’m your vice. I got your back, yknow?”

Sakura couldn’t help the blush that colored up his cheeks. He glared more.

“I-It’s… n-not like… I… um… sh-shut up!” He pouted a bit with anger and looked away. Suo could tell that meant a lot. But as usual the poor guy couldn’t take a compliment or any kind words to save his life.

Suo just grinned, enjoying how embarrassed he got.

Deciding to take advantage of this moment and gently stuck his fingers into his neck, looking to mess with him.

As soon as Sakura felt the fingers touch the already warm skin of his neck, his eyes widened and he immediately scrunched up his shoulders in a feeble attempt to protect himself. A wave of heat creeped up his neck and ears as well. But even worse, much to Sakuras own horror, he let out the loudest and most high pitched squeal that he swore right then and there he would never make again.

Suo smirked. “Hm? What was that Sakura? You okay?” The damn bastard started wiggling his fingers more into his neck. Sakura immediately thrashed in place and tried to pull Suos hand out. Unfortunately Sakura was rendered rather helpless.

“S-Suhuhuhohoho yohohohu bahahahastahahard!!!!”

As if the loud squeal wasn’t enough, Sakura just HAD to start giggling like a five year old idiot.

Suo laughed as he knew he had him. “Yknow for such an apparent “tough guy,” Sakura, you have quite an adorable laugh. Oh look, you’re blushing too!”

Sakura kicked around in the desk seat and thrashed more. He gave up on pulling at Suos hand and decided to just cover his face instead.

“D-DAAhahahahAHAmIHIHihit leheEhHehet mehehEHeHe GOHOHohoho!!!” Sakura protested.

Suo grinned. “First admit that you’d make a great class leader and I’ll think about it.”

“L-Lihihihike hehehell Ihihi WIHIHIHLLLHAHAHAHA!!!!”

As soon as Sakura started saying that Suo abandoned the neck and drilled into his lowest set of ribs.

Suo throughly made sure to enjoy each bout of laughter and squeals as he attacked.

“You know… these little ribs over here tend to be most sensitive since there isn’t much muscle protecting the area… isn’t that funny?” Suo told him casually with a smile, as if the other boy wasn’t completely falling to pieces beneath him.

“S-STAHAHAP STAHAHAHAHAP IHIHIHT!!!” Sakura cried out with piercing shrieks in his laughter.

“FIHIHIHIHNE FIHIHIHINE IHIHI… IAHAHAHA…!!!”

He was sounding like he was really losing breath now. Suo could tell Sakura was trying to just say the words that he asked him to say and so he moved down to his sides, slowly squeezing gently to let him be able to talk while still tickling him.

“Ihihi… ihihihi… ihihihihll mahahake… ahaha… g-gohohohohood.. c-clahahass l-leheheheahader…. S-stahahap..!!!” Sakura weakly pushed at his hands.

And so Suo finally decided to let him go.

When he retracted his hands, Sakura wrapped his arms protectively around his body as he gasped for air.

“Wh-whahahat… whahat the hehehell… w-wahahas thahahat f-fohohor…?” Sakura mumbles angrily, still in a slight giggle high.

Suo smiled and tilted his head innocently. “You just looked like you could use it Sakura. Sometimes you just need a little motivation to gain more self confidence. And I mean it when I say you’d make a great class leader. Sure it can hold a great deal of pressure sometimes, but I know you can handle it.”

Sakura blinked. Then slowly the blush that was still left on his face grew, and his entire neck and face went red. He glared and looked away.

“Awww it’s nothing to blush over…”

“I-I AM NOT!”

Early MCYTblr Interviews: tack-tick

today's interviewee is tack-tick, a pioneer of the "phistin" ship and DSMP fan since before the first election! below is a transcript of the interview.

Q: What was your overall time in MCYTblr like?

A: I'd say my overall time in Mcytblr could be described as finding diamonds in the rough. This fandom is defined by finding your group, sticking to them and if you're smart not really looking beyond that. I did look beyond that and saw a lot of discourse and such. I had a good time with my friends but I did get negatively affected by the discourse at times. It was kind of a toxic shithole but by God mcytblr was our shithole lol

Q: Do you remember any specific discourse that affected you, or was it just the overall culture around you?

A: As a Technoblade main, it was the discourse surrounding his character that messed with me. At the time, I was mutuals (none in the phistin palace dw guys) with some people who hated his character. I, as an anxious teenager, was very worried it would cause drama if I unfollowed them and my dash became a lot of those long negative essays about how he was an awful person and yknow the drill. It was mainly my own fault and my dash became signfigantly better once I realized no one would be offended of I unfollowed, blocked a bunch of tags, started up my own discord server and focused more on writing fanfic instead of doomscrolling. A good lesson in curating your dash of anything else. (Btw those former mutuals are fine people, we just had radically different tastes in what we liked and disliked about the Dream SMP)

Q: You mentioned the "phistin palace"-- before we get into that, would you like to explain the "phistin" rarepair itself?

A: Now we are cooking! So, Phistin is the ship of Kristin and Philza. It's main focus was on the scraps of lore that we had about their relationship which was Kristin was the immortal goddess of Death and they couldn't really see each other often but loved each other very much. I'd say it's main appeal was being one of the few ships that was just really stable in the Dream SMP compared to the Karlnapity polycule and whatever youd call Quackbur. Fun fact, I can't find the post now but if i remember correctly me and tumblr user Demonadelem helped name the pair Phistin. Although, that was ages ago so I could be misremebering

Q: Was the ship entirely within the SMP, or was it just the general ship name for the real-life couple?

A: It was both. Since Kristin didn't really stream on the dream smp, a lot of her personality had to be based on what Phil said about her and her other streams. Basically, lore about the ship was pulled from the SMP but the dynamics and personality was from both. You could play around with the dynamic if you focused on Kristin being a goddess

Q: With that basic information laid out-- what was the "phistin palace"?

A: The Phistin Palace was a discord server I founded in August of 2022. Phistin was a ship that was basically a side thing I did in fandom because my main focus was Technoblade and emerald duo stuff. I think if you're a Technoblade fan you're legally obligated to be a Philza fan and vice versa. I don't make the rules. So Phistin was something I did when I wanted a break from Technoblade as a way to practice romantic shipping.

Then Technoblade passed away and I didn't want to do anything with his character for a while so I focused completely on Phistin. However, when I tried to find any fics they were either a background ship with only one line or Kristin was already dead from a tragic disease who's main symptoms were lying daintily in bed. While I was writing my own long form Phistin focused fic, Two Birds if anyone read it, I got a comment that complimented me for "giving her an actual charatcer" and maaaan that is a very low bar to be praised for. So, I started the palace as a way to find other Phistin fans who actually cared about them beyond Kristin being angst fodder for SBI.

Q: Do you have any fond memories in specific of the "Phistin Palace" discord server?

A: Oh so many. During the Syndicate finale, three of us all liveblogged and freaked the fuck out when Kristin showed up for the first time in a minecraft skin on the server. I made on of those AI chatbot things that was popular for a bit and the bot was supposed to be the Kristin character. I asked if she had a pet and she said she has a gecko named Tim. The entire server instantly decided they would die for Tim and he's now an emote. The general chat is also named Tim Time Fucker. A mermaid AU that was made that the majority of the server contributed a lot of lore to we named it the Communist Mermaid AU because the server collectively owns it now. Many good moments there

Q: Beyond the Phistin Palace, are there any large community events that you remember/took part in, or did you mostly stick to your friend group?

A: I remember The Penis SMP of course. I never really took part in large community events but I did watch them happen. I read the Passerine chapter where Tommy died becasue my dash flipped out when that dropped. I'd also try to watch Sad-ist animatics live when I could. At most, Id make a meme during a stream that would rack up a couple hundred notes or one thousand if I was lucky A thousand was like once or twice I think

Q: You mentioned that you were also a Technoblade fan before you became more focused on Phistin-- was your experience in that side of the fandom any different?

A: It certainly had more content than Phistin did lol. I was never really in any Technoblade discords or anything but back in the day it was focused on emerald duo and being funny. or angsty. Nowadays, it's way less lively unfortunately. It's not as bad as in 2022 but Technoblade fancontent seems to be less foucsed on the character and more on memorials/remembrance. At some point, you run out of things to say and not a lot of people wanted to stay in a fandom that just felt weighed down by it all. I did leave so things could perk up someday but I don't think that's likely

Q: We've talked about the fandom and how it responds to content-- let's talk about the content itself. What were some of your favorite moments from the Dream SMP as a whole?

A: The Red Festival Technoblade stream was the first one I ever watched live so that's a good one. The stream where L'manberg getting blown up at the end of The Manberg Arc is iconic for an underrated reason. I don't know how many people remember but Phil was highly speculated to be on the Dream SMP someday. On the day of that stream, he started on his hardcore world, then stopped his stream and did his dramatic switch surprise entrance to enter the Dream SMP for the first time. Also Technoblade escaping the anvil and then killing Quackity with a toothpick was great. I've never liked watching Twitch streams on my Ipad so most of my favorite moments come from YouTube

Q: Were you sad that Phistin wasn't a more popular ship, or did you enjoy the tight-knit community?

A: I was sad Kristin kept friggin dying, the poor woman lol. Sometimes I wish it was a bit more popular but the community was nice. The main issue is Phistin stuff started tanking hard on Ao3 in terms of numbers and tended to get misstagged quite a bit

Q: You've brought up a few times that Kristin was often fridged, disregarded, or replaced (on several notable occasions, by an actual Samsung fridge). How did you feel about it? Do you think there was any particular reason for it?

A: I mean, I really don't like it but I understand it. A lot of people loved that SBI angst but also wanted to write all the SBI. So the obvious solution is to kill off Kristin for free angst and keep all the SBI in the story. Passerine is a fic i respect a lot but it also kickstarted this trend to be honest. Kristin herself also didn't physically show up in the lore a lot so it was really tricky to write her. When I first wrote her, it was intimidating because I didn't have many fics to look at as good examples.

Was it shitty and a bit sexist? Yes but I don't think sexism was the only reason. Kristin's character was in a unique situation compared to the others. I have no problem with Kristin dying in a fic. The main issue is that often came with her personality being reduced to good mom and that's it. I'm not gonna call a bunch of probably first time writers evil sexists when I know what it's like to not know how to write her and being scared you'll get her completely wrong.

Q: Since it's come up, would you mind giving a quick rundown of what exactly the fanfic "Passerine" is? (As well as any memories you have relating to it!)

A: If i'm being honest, I only read the chapter where Tommy got murked. What I know from osmosis is it's an SBI royalty AU that had some kind of meta twist at the end and it was very sad. It also got a sad-ist animatic made out of it which jesus christ I'd give for that. I tried it but the writing style was too wordy for my liking. It's mainly important for Phistin history even though Kristin wasn't in it. No, The Fridge died in it but everyone just kinda assumed it was Kristin for long enough it got the ball rolling. Also I think Niki read it on a stream

Q: Before we wrap up, is there anything else you remember about MCYTblr/the DSMP that you'd like to talk about?

A: The DSMP sure was the minecraft server of all time that is defined as a server that was doomed from the start. Whoever makes a video essay on it is gonna have a hell of a job. 10/10 experience would not recommenced. Hello to the Phistin Palace if any of you read this :D

Mcytblr is getting more chill with shipping from what I've seen. Thank God, keeping making Philza Minecraft kiss those men and his wife.

listen i love timkon/timberkon just as much as the next person but lately i have been Obsessed with the idea of kon just being this Straight Dude that's so comfortable with his sexuality that he freely holds hands with his male friends and kisses the homies goodnight without it having any further meaning

fast forward to tim realizing he's bi and may have had feelings for kon, postponing coming out to him because of this very reason. listen tim is Stressed. he's like "okay maybe i dont like kon anymore but in hindsight there's A Lot of evidence pointing out to the fact that *kon likes me* and how do i tell him i've got a bf without making him feel bad..." teenage angst u know the drill. it gets so bad that even bernard is like "well maybe he likes u but he still is your best friend like, tim, honey, he might have a rough time accepting it but it's not like he's gonna come kill me or anything... righttt?" and yeah no he's right. he's right.

so finally tim comes out to kon and he tries to make it like an innocent comment, something quick and easy to slip into conversation to soften the blow... and kon kinda stops like "you've got a bf???" and tim is like mentally preparing himself to deal with whatever comes but kon just goes "dude that's dope!! lemme know when i can meet him!" and that's... that

tim being tim is Not Convinced kon isn't just swallowing his feelings so he like, siccs steph and cassie and bart onto kon so he has someone to talk to and they're all like "heyyy, so did tim tell you he's got a bf??" and kon is always like "yeah that's cool, i didn't know he was bi lol". Everyone Worries. they're all waiting for the inevitable breakdown but weeks go by and it just... never comes??? things remain as normal and kon doesn't seem to be struggling or whatever so finally jon deadass stops kon like "dude are you aight??" and kon is all "???? are you alright???" "no i mean i am but like, idk how youve been feeling since tim's got a bf and... yknow" "actually i dont???" three seconds of awkward staring later "DO YOU THINK IM HOMOPHOBIC???? HAVE I BEEN MEAN TO YOU OR JAY????" "WHAT NO" cue the most fucking insane "it's okay to be sad if you like tim" "i don't like tim??? i don't like boys???" "kon it's like... okay... you don't have to den-" "jonathan i dont like men??? did you think i liked men????" "well we kinda assumed-" "DOES EVERYONE THINK I LIKE MEN???"

tim gets woken up at like three am by kon blowing up the young justice chat like "fyi i like only WOMEN!!! WOMEN!!!" and everyone collectively losing their shit because holy shit kon is straight????

I think it would be weird if Boone didn't view the faction who enslaved his wife as a problem lol. Not an NCR defender by any means but I genuinely think you're just willfully ignoring a bunch of stuff just because you hate Boone

First off, why are you even here? I'm the Khan blog of course I hate Boone. If you don't like that, don't be here. It's not hard. This is your free invitation to block me.

Second. You're taking me in bad faith if you think what I said was "I want Boone to be okay with the Legion" like of course I fucking don't. Please bare in mind that the post you're responding to literally said "obviously doesn't justify the things they do but its worth thinking about" yknow. I'm saying these are things WORTH THINKING ABOUT in a narrative.

Here's what I was getting at: Boone's Biggest character flaw is how he's completely unable to view his enemy as people. This is something that has been drilled into him by the NCR and is the reason why his biggest ~trauma~ besides murdering his own wife is murdering dozens of children and unarmed civilians. He even says himself that all Khans are dangerous and that doesn't matter if they're kids. He has completely dehumanised them in his mind and made it so in his head it's okay to kill them because of that.

So yeah of course I'm pissed that there's no way to challenge this mindset in him. And then after sitting through his sob story I have to watch him do it to another group of people.

The soldiers in the Legion are all victims of the Legion, they're all slaves, and they were all once child soldiers. No, this doesn't absolve them of the heinous shit they've done. Of course it doesn't I'm not a fucking moron. But the Legion's victims go on to create more victims, it's a cycle.

The "we're just a couple of problem solvers" is just glossing over how siccing him on the Legion camp like a rabid dog is just enabling his worst trait, which is killing indiscriminately. We SEE small children in Legion soldier gear running around the Fort. They have CHILD SOLDIERS actually IN THE FORT. THAT YOU SEND BOONE TO MURDER. and I'm sorry but I cannot imagine a universe where he doesn't just blow their fucking brains out because LEGION UNIFORM BLAM BLAM

Again, this is just in a narrative bubble. I know that it's just a silly video game thing to go kill everyone at the Fort but maybe I like thinking about things as a narrative rather than a video game? I don't know?

So . Frisk does a pacifist run, monsters r free, yknow the drill. One thing: the barrier, AKA a bunch of concentrated, human magic, doesn’t rip. It explodes, sending out a huge shockwave of magic that humans unintentionally absorb (the barrier was made of human magic, after all), and they all turn into various different, new species.

A lot of humans turn into bitties. Frisk does, for one. Monsters take pity on the bitties and start to make the adoption centers and such that most bitty AUs have. However, monsters aren’t exactly the best towards bitties- most treat them as pets or pests, or just lesser in general. Particularly racist monsters form bitty rings as a kind of… “punishment” for the former humans ‘cause of how their ancestors sealed monsters away so long ago.

Now, here’s where it gets a bit more interesting: some humans turn into nagas and sirens. Both are very powerful, like boss monsters almost. I’ll talk abt sirens in a moment, but I’m gonna focus on the nagas first.

All three formerly human species are still, you know, human, and don’t want to hurt people. but since literally all of them are incredibly confused and scared (imagine waking up with a snake’s tail instead of your legs. it’s cool in theory but god, the body horror) a lot of nagas end up killing monsters. This results in nagas being hunted down and drove into forests, in which they finally find other former humans and pack instincts kick in, forming colonies of nagas. The nagas are a tiny bit more peaceful than sirens, generally. That doesn’t mean defenseless though- nagas are just a tad more defensive than offensive. Speaking of offensive…

Sirens are a bit different. Back when the barrier exploded, humans that turned into sirens were put in a trance and just endlessly sought out water until they found a large enough source. Then they walked in and woke up as sirens. The same thing that happened with nagas happens with sirens- most sirens that didn’t end up in the ocean die, and eventually the remaining sirens find each other.

Here’s where sirens and nagas start to deviate in terms of ideology (specifically towards monsters). Nagas, generally speaking, don’t actively hunt monsters. They do kill any that venture into their forests, but that’s nothing compared to sirens. Sirens are more often than not very spiteful and vengeful towards monsters. They blame monsters for turning them into sirens (body horror my beloved) and also for killing other sirens. They sing to lure in monsters and drown them. Any monster they spot is already dead. No beach is safe- sirens lurk everywhere in the water, even in the arctic.

I first thought of this… AU? As a Sans x reader, but I don’t know what species the reader would be. Maybe something like the Trappist System where there’s multiple readers romancing different Sans AUs? Originally, reader was a spiteful, cecalia siren that met Sans on a dock- maybe as spy of some kind, to gather information for the sirens? But I love nagas as much as (maybe even more than) sirens, so now I just can’t pick.

The main thing that started this was the idea of siren body horror, and the sheer terror of becoming something like that. The power you now wield, but having no idea how to use it. The unshakeable feeling that your body is horrifyingly wrong, twisted into something inhuman without your consent. I don’t see many fics touch on that kind of thing with sirens and nagas, and it’s such an intriguing idea to me that my brain cobbled together… whatever this is lol.

Hey what if I *draws your alien that hates humans as humans* lol

These are all a little old (from jan-march) but save for giblets I feel like I’ve got everyone pinned down nicely. Notes under the cut!! Don’t repost, feel free to tell me what you think 💕

1-2: Krubis. I hope you see my vision here. Mostly just trying to figure out if I like this hair texture for him or if I go curlier. I’m set for his work outfit though and I like the idea of him wearing glasses or shades 24/7. But yknow. I think this captures his essence. This is the sort of person he is in my eyes.

The second doodle is kind of rushed but I think in a human au maybe he’d forgo a prosthetic in most circumstances. Hell I think if he can remove the drill at all in canon then he does so when it comes to paperwork and shit. I think he was born without the arm so hes learnt to get by without any sort of prosthetic. I need to do more research into the matter though

3: Douglas. The shorter cut is more in character but I do like the (VERY SPLATOON INSPIRED BTW) braid idea. I think he’s on the younger side alongside the Skrendels? But also he’s very baby faced I think. To mirror the whole “actually Douglas was the silly blue goober the whole time” thing

4: Dr. Giblets. As I said before this sketch is a bit old but I did touch it up. A bit too lanky his face needs to be rounder. I think he’s the oldest of the officers maybe older than Garm. Probably? Not by much. Also 5 Torg in the corner but I didn’t like how she came out so she’ll be in the next batch of whatever 💔💔💔

5: Angela + Jonathan in armor bc for a human/more anthro au I think they’d all have these helmets that mirror the one big eye(and headcanons for what happens when they argue: Angela mediates between Jonathan and Mona, Jonathan does the same when Angela argues with Mona, and Mona just straight up leaves the two to beat the shit out of each other then tearfully apologize .). Also nipulon weezer blue.

6: Garmantuous. Idk if he should be bald or not. Also like 40? Could be a bit older maybe even younger… extra eyes HAVE TO be plugs though I have decided on this. I feel smart for this.

7: more Mona ^_^ more developed sketch of the same hc that he just dips if the other two ever argue + fem presenting alt design + probably what went through his head by the time the BH took out his other brothers during the fight. Also his hair would be bleached blonde 👍🏼 but all the Skrendels have very dark hair naturally.

(On that note: as mentioned before Krubis’s hair is all grey now to mirror the drill. Douglas not sure probably brown or strawberry blond/gingery but dyed blue. Giblets. Uh. Idk it’s pink ish but that way naturally somehow and greying obviously. Garm also blonde but probably bleached? And like I said Skrendels all have black or brown hair but Mona bleached his and Jonathan dyes his hair every now and then

unfortunately though, i don't really have clear answers to that. i'm only speaking with my own experience in this hellsite lol.

tumblr isn't driven by algorithm, so people have to browse through the tags (those #bsd x reader #bsd smut #bsd fanfic tags) to find stuff they like. and it also depends on the people reblogging your works, which is why you might have seen a lot of writers asking people to reblog their works so they can reach wider audience. so yeah, make use of the tags. tag your fic with popular tags and encourage your readers to reblog your fic.

if you'd like to get people to discover your blog, you might wanna try to write fics for popular fandoms or characters, or write scenarios for multiple characters, or thirsts. since tumblr is basically a social media, some people prefer to consume shorter works/fics. if they're interested enough with your works, they might wanna check your other writings, and possibly introducing them to your longer works. might—not will. because there are a lot more factors to consider and consequences lol.

there's basically a lot of ways for your blog to be recognized and it's mostly time and luck, i'd say. your blog will grow on its own pace and you'll find your right audiences too one day.

but i will say that please take those advices with a grain of salt, because like i said, it really is just time and luck. just be consistent and you know, entertain your current audience. i wish you good luck with your writing journey! ❤️

jt (finally) watches warrior nun - s2 e1 - Avatrice fight thoughts pt 1

Okay, I know I haven’t finished my first post about s2 e1 but there’s that post going around showing Alba practicing Ava’s opening takedown and yeah I know I’m not yet at that scene yet, but I had a couple thoughts about that particular move (reference vid here).

The first thing I thought was, “That’s so extra” - because that’s like, the opposite of straightforward lol. Straightforward would be a double-leg takedown or even just a simple strike. No, Ava’s gotta literally leap in with a scissor takedown that reverses direction with a flip??

But then I got to thinking about how much Ava has trained up to this point. 2 months isn’t a lot, but as a beginner, and with an intensive schedule, you can learn a ton - especially with a good teacher. So it made me think, well, what if that opening move is less representative of Ava being, well, Ava (which it still totally is) but more representative of just how good Ava has gotten?

So, when I competed in BJJ (which I focused on in recent years, though I studied Muay Thai as well), the opening sequence is usually something you’ve drilled dozens if not hundreds of times. It sets the tone of the match and at the high levels, whoever can successfully execute their opening sometimes determines who wins or loses. Stand up/striking is a bit different but there’s always a game plan, always an overarching strategy. Additionally, there’s always certain sequences that you drill, and drill, and drill, until you can do it without thinking.

The fact that Ava chooses this takedown as her opening move could mean that she drilled this with Beatrice a shit ton of times. I mean, to just immediately launch into that without any hesitation? And execute it flawlessly? That’s incredible!

It also makes me wonder how that move fit into the training plan/curriculum (that we know Beatrice drew up for them, probably had spreadsheets and everything lol). Either Ava asked to be taught it - idk maybe she saw the move online or had seen someone do it at Cat’s Cradle - and Beatrice indulged her, or this was an actual technique that Beatrice had planned for them to go over.

With the latter, I’d bet that Ava would have needed to be hella advanced into the curriculum to get to a point where Beatrice would allow her to do something that flashy. My reading of Beatrice is someone who’s very structured, methodical, and will not advance from point A to point B without having gone through points A1 through A999, yknow? And even with the former, Beatrice would’ve needed to train Ava to a certain point to be able to properly and safely execute a move of that level of complexity.

And now this makes me think about that car scene where Beatrice tells Ava she’s not ready - Ava’s so offended when she says that. Which makes me think two things: 1) Ava may have been aware of how much she’s improved and was offended at Bea cutting down her progress, and, more of a ponder, 2) just how good did Ava need to get for Bea to deem her “ready”? If they’d had more time, gosh, how much better would Ava have gotten? Kind of mind boggling to think about tbh

thinking about an au where the boys become angels after dying of hot dogs (lol can u imagine) instead of ghosts

thinking about them being given the mission to help this grieving girl find her way back to life- to music. the boys don’t remember much of their past lives if anything, but they do remember music- and they’re hyped af. they finally get to play it and get to experience that rush of adrenaline they all vaguely remember

anyway so they meet julie and it’s a disaster first meeting (she tries to exorcise them “dude, we’re literal angels. that doesn’t uh- doesn’t work on us.” it doesn’t work)

eventually luke finds the songs in her music box (“BOUNDARIES!”) and starts seeing julie in a different light — he couldn’t imagine not wanting to play music anymore when one still could; but reading her poems gave him so much more information on julie and how she feels than the report they got in her. and this is when they slowly start getting to know each other better. luke tries to coax her into writing songs with him, and slowly nudges her until she’s sat at the piano, quietly singing to herself and forgetting luke is there with her

stuff happens, then fall in love (alex and reggie exchange smirks but also concerned looks - angels aren’t supposed to fall for humans) and other stuff happens. hurdles and things. stuff. plot and drama, yknow the drill.

anyway happy ending the boys succeed in their mission and get granted one wish- to turn back human and join julie as humans this time

I can imagine it started by pure accident, their friends invited them over to party and vibe far away from city. You know the drill, somone gets too drunk, Jason goes brrr and everyone either dies becasue of their own stupidity or because Jason was in silly mood. y/n acidently kinda became this one main character in horror movies than just can't die, like they apear in every movie, but somehow they just can't rest :/ (for example Laurie Strode or Sidney Prescott)

First meeting with Jason was terryfing, big guy killing their friends like it was nothing. Imagine how y/n felt when year later their other friends decided to make suprise party there! and they didnt tell y/n where it was (obviously, its a suprise party duh). And everyone just assumed y/n were joking about whole "killer in the forest" thingy cuz its a campus ofcourse people will try to scare other people! ahh y/n soo goofy trying to spook their friends! Just like last time, absolute horror and killing spree happen, I can imagine y/n being more agile(but more jumpy probably due to trauma or sometihn idk).

Probably after few visits in Crystal Lake they kinda got used to whole "uwah spooky big guy with machete!!! uwah soo spooooky be spooked!" prompt. I can see them being like "Hi Jason, sorry i wasnt here last year i had stuff to do yknow" or "Hi Jason how was chrismas man?" aah casual conversations with killers>> He will be suprised and kinda akward, noone talks to him like to normal person :(

Its not like our Boy will stop trying to kill them constantly, but he will leave them for last,! Mostly because he acually enjoys their company a little. Especially if y/n talks to him like to normal human being!

Everytime they escape the Crystal Lake he kinda looks forward to see them next year, kinda hopes they will comeback and run around screaming and stuff. I can see y/n being less and less attached to other campers cuz they now theywill die lol.

Imagine y/n giving him tips which person kill first "ayo Jason can you kill this guy first, he said my oufit looks ugly :(" "..." (he agrees).

After finding out that Jason doesnt really have a family, y/n decides to give him little gift on chrismas (he will cry and if its some sort of plushie, he will hug it to sleep).

Also after few years he might stop plotting on killing them, like y/n seems chill and overall nice, theres no reason why he should kill them!

Once y/n was walking through forest and she acidently walked into some sort of bear trap :( and Jason was just standing there akwardly... like ??? should he help you??? or like not??? eeeh?? HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT TODO i mean after few stressing seconds (and y/n bleeding out) he helped them and MAYBE ONLY MAYBE he helped them with bandages :3

"Jason :((( it was raining and i slipped and my sweater is ruined :(" jason can't really respond, but he will lisen and probably get a new sweater or a hoodie for them(it mightt have blood on it)

Ofcourse y/n probably has some scars because of Jason being all evil bab in past, and he will feel kinda guilty for whooping them with machete like 10 times, but eh who cares, they have both arms and legs so nothing really happenndddd rightt???

Overall 8/10 will give hugs and flowercrowns, but pls dont bring ur close friends to Crystal Lake he will stab :)

To me the first two lines would be sung by Jay about him hiding his feelings for Alex back in college/uni, pretending he didn't like him or want to be in a relationship with him (beyond just their FWB relationship), pretending he wasn't in love with Alex for years despite knowing that he absolutely was. Probably those lines would be sung by Jay to Alex about their time in College, explaining what he tried to do with his feelings: "I left 'em all on the floor". Those lines would also probably be sung, like, after Alex has said all those nasty things to Jay in the kitchen? Somewhere around then. This is like a song for if they ever actually fucking talked to each other properly lmao.

The next line would be Alex's response, a sort of manipulative way of saying he understands why Jay doesn't trust him anymore, that he understands what he did and why it was cruel. But in that kinda "oh woe is me I'm just the worst" kinda way, yknow? Trying to make Jay go "no, you're not the worst, you're not evil, you just didn't think it's okay!" and give Alex another chance. There'd definitely be a certain level of sincerity as well though, because Alex really does realize that he was pretty damn shitty to Jay. He wants Jay not to love him anymore. He needs Jay not to love him anymore.

Then the last line is kinda both of them, but in different ways, like they'd sing it together but with completely different tones and it'd be so obvious that they're talking about different things. For Jay "No, I don't mind, just take whatever you want" is about how Alex just kinda took and took and took from him throughout their relationship, but it'd also be a kinda, like, good tone? Like Jay's convinced himself that he genuinely doesn't mind how much Alex has taken from him, he kind of likes the fact that he could give Alex that control over him etc? For Alex "No, I don't mind, just take whatever you want" would be a lot more bitter, he feels like Jay is the unreasonable one who just keep's taking, because he's taken Alex's heart (lmao cringe) and Alex was not ready to give it away to him.

Okay, hear me out, this bit's about their dynamic, shocker... even tho it makes it sound a lot more toxic and abusive than it actually was. They were both mostly happy with the dynamic and neither were trying to hurt each other. They just both kinda wanted it to be a romantic relationship when it wasn't, but Alex was scared of that, and Jay wasn't gonna push it for fear of losing what he already had so far. And he'd rather have that than nothing.

Probably Jay talking about Alex, Alex changed up their usual dynamic when they got back to his house, then it turned out that all the niceness was just a way to break Jay's heart even worse.
