The partner and I were talking about Adventure Time and how it's this weirdly endless well of bizarre-yet-poignant stories with a large stable of characters that are iconic-yet-dynamic, always changing but never unrecognizable, with world building that has no business working as well as it does and a thematically resonant magic system...and how it's influenced so much around it without anything else truly resembling it...
