AEW Just Dropped THE BALL
This is it. If you listened to the most recent Jim Cornette Experience, not only can you get knowledge of the business, but the set up of feuds, how to promo, shit tons of advice for any wrestler willing to take that information and use it in your wrestling life.. and AEW listens but they do the EXACT OPPOSITE!!
Tumblr media
Go to youtube, type in Jim Cornette, CM Punk Jon Moxley Review.. he Gives two scenarios.
1. Punk said fuck this, I am taking my ball and going home because you do not know what you’re fucking doing.
2. Punk is actually hurt and Mox will issue an open challenge and the HEEL you should have had claim the interim title accept, and win to have something for Punk to chase.
You’re living under a rock if you don't correlate MJF with the heel. Just imagine, MJF has the title and Punk is chasing the title he never lost and only MJF.. ONLY MJF, is talented enough to make you hate him and drag out the story with Punk like we have seen before. Punk and MJF had THE BEST FEUD in AEW history and honestly will never be beat. Now imagine a title in that picture and my lord.. I would tune in just for this feud, that Tony would put on first and not keep me watching the whole show just to see Punk and MJF verbally assault each other.
BUt.. alas, AEW looked like they were on the right track. MOx comes out, issues the open challenge.. and Punk accepts. What in the ACTUAL FUCK are we doing here? WHy were you beat in 3 minutes Punk? why do you deserve a rematch? non of this makes sense? Why have the Young Bucks book the tag division.
You had the ability to have PUNK v. MJF. Wardlow (before you killed his momentum probably because he was more over than any WWE talent or Kenny), FTR against literally anyone like... STARKS and FUCKING HOBBS!!! Throw in some sprinkles of people who can work and make me believe something you have a show I want to watch and now your show on top of the Pay Per View has gone from I’ll watch if nothing is on to nahhhhh I’m good.
which sucks because I love wrestling, I used to love AEW but let’s be honest. it’s not good, there nothing to get you hooked, you’re just watching choreographed gymnastics, hot shot matches with no feuds or feuds that are.. why the fuck should we care?

Anthony’s Stupid Daily Blog (310): Fri 20th Jan 2023
Logged on to my station at work this morning and was asked to come straight to the warehouse which was a relief because I’m sick of stow. If I can’t get moved to pack full time then I think I’ll start looking for another job after I get back from WrestleMania (then again I might not have to: if the camera gets a shot of me in the crowd with my ripped bod then HHH might get in touch and be like “Hey kid, you wanna be a wrestler?”). We’re getting a day off tomorrow because of a site shutdown or something and I’m going to binge on zombie movies so that I can officially end my challenge of watching the top 50 zombie movies ever made and move onto my next pointless challenge. I know that I’m all about these ridiculous pointless challenges but they’re all I’ve got as far as motivation to do something goes. Setting myself tasks like watching all the zombie films or reading all the Edgar Award winning novels or watching every WWE pay per view is the only way I’ll ever get any “Yes, I finally did it” moments. I’m never going to be a high flyer in terms of academia or meaningful achievements so these are the closest I’ll come to feeling like I’ve achieved something really hard. They might be meaningless but eight years ago when I completed my challenge of watching and reviewing a movie a day for a year I felt such relief and so proud of myself that it made it all feel worth it somehow.
This evening I rewatched the entire first series of An Idiot Abroad. Karl Pilkington is one of the funniest people to have ever lived (perhaps unintentionally). There’s never any deliberation to what he says, he doesn’t take a moment to consider what the best way of putting a thought is he just comes out with it and it’s always funny. 10 / 15 years ago was so good for fans of Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington because they we’re putting g out a new podcast all the time so you never felt short changed and they always delivered the goods. I’m sad that they don’t do them anymore but at the same time they were producing content non stop for over a decade so it’s only natural that they’d want to do something in their own terms.

Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva Fight Review
Tumblr media
Jake Paul, for the first time in his professional boxing career, would exchange blows with a fighter claiming a winning boxing record.  Here Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva review we brought for you. Paul is set to take on former UFC middleweight champion and all-time MMA great Anderson Silva in a Showtime pay-per-view main event on Saturday, October 29. Paul (5-0, 4 KO) is expected to eventually return to action after a fight against Tommy Fury - brother of WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury - and Hasim Rahman Jr. Silva (3-1, 2 KO) is the next development in Paul's rise to competitiveness and the third UFC alum he will face inside a boxing ring. Paul has ousted acclaimed collegiate wrestler and Olympian Ben Askren and mighty former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. Silva is by far the most boxing-oriented MMA fighter Paul has faced. "The Spider" is noted for its movement and striking prowess and is much larger than Escrane and Woodley. Paul had most recently defeated Woodley via KO in the sixth round in December 2021. It was a crushing right hook that struck Woodley. WHO ARE HOSTING LOVE IS BLIND SEASON 3? JOURNEY OF DWAYNE JOHNSON THE ROCK WWE TO BLACK ADAM Silva followed former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz's first-round KO in September 2021 with a split decision victory over former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The fight was nearly derailed during fight week - which would be the third consecutive for Paul this year - after Silva's comments surfaced where he said he was kicked out twice at training camp less than a month ago went. Silva later made a statement saying that he misquoted and that he meant to say that he had been dropped twice. But the Arizona commission took those initial comments seriously enough to call an emergency meeting and make sure Silva was healthy enough to fight. They considered him fit to fight and hence the action would continue as planned. Elsewhere on the cards, 18-year-old rising prospect Ashton Silve is back in action when he takes on Braulio Rodriguez in Super Featherweight. Silve is undefeated 7–0 and all seven will end in the knockouts. He recently turned down other major promotions to be among Paul's most valuable promotions, leaving the boxing community a bit of a shock. Now, he wants to take the next step in his development against Rodriguez, who is 20-4 as a pro but hasn't fought since 2019. Plus, two more Celebrity level matches fill in the rest of the undercard. Former UFC middleweight - and Silva rival - Uriah Hall makes his pro boxing debut when he takes on former NFL outback Le'Veon Bell. Hall, 38, was cut by the UFC in July following a decision loss. Now, he faces Bale, who is coming off a TKO win over Adrian Peterson in an exhibition bout in September. In another celebrity bout, Nick and Nate Diaz teammate Chris Avila face social media star "Dr. Mike" Warshawski. Below are the full fight cards for Saturday night in Glendale, Arizona, along with the latest odds from Caesar Sportsbook. Be sure to stay on this page throughout the week for the latest news, in-depth features and expert selections for the main event ahead of the action. The arena holds approximately 40,000 fans for basketball games, which could likely see more fans in attendance for a pro wrestling show. This year's event will be back in front of live fans, with the event taking place at The Dome at America's Center in St Louis, Missouri. It is the second PPV event of the calendar year and kickstarts the 'Road to Wrestlemania'. Meanwhile, Triple H has taken on the role of head of creative.

Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan replaced McMahon as co-CEOs, plus Stephanie was named chairwoman. Since then, McMahon has retired amid a WWE board of directors investigation into allegations that he paid millions of dollars in hush money to former female WWE employees in exchange for their silence about sexual misconduct. Reports of a transition to TV-14 first surfaced when Vince McMahon was still serving as the CEO, chairman and head of creative for WWE. The product remained TV-14 for the next 11 years before getting changed back to PG in 2008 to appeal to a younger audience and appease sponsors. WWE initially switched to a TV-14 rating in 1997, which was the start of arguably the most successful time in pro wrestling history, known as the Attitude Era. To this point, all WWE programming remains PG. Meltzer noted that the memo was sent out early and that it was unclear when the changes would take effect.

REVIEW: AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door (2022)
REVIEW: AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door (2022)
A Pay-Per-View Event by AEW and NJPW Here it is, the proof and concept of Tony Khan’s attempt to somewhat “unify” most non-WWE wrestling leagues into a more fluid group that works together for big shows. We first saw this in an experimental form with All In, a pay-per-view ran largely by the previous Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling regimes with help of Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks.…

i listen to a few review shows and podcasts about wrestling, and the one thing that really aggravates me is they always moan about an aew pay per view being too long and it’s like BUDDY, i’m sorry you have to watch all the wrestling even the bad bits (and get paid for it) but as a punter, who doesn’t watch wwe at all, and aew only doing 4 pay per views a year? give me a 5 hour pay per view. i’ll catch up on the sleep.
it only annoys me because i feel like they’re overly nitpicky when they review the show because they’re tired and grumpy.

The reason is that this bag is really modern, low-key and practical! https://re-pin.me/replicas-hermes-bags/replica-hermes-kelly-bag.html We met up because the dialog we had earlier I made it very clear that i wanted the best possible quality and I was willing to pay a little more to get what I was after and if she turned up with obscure copies I was gonna stroll. Lesson learnt and I actually have been wary of these so excellent photos and ig sellers, but after all there are exceptions to everything. So possibly you will have a while to research and publish some reviews of Instagram accounts. Boys, Replica Hermes Handbags I purchased probably the most is their scarf, very nice. (The Hermes app teaches you tips on how to take a men’s scarf and a girl’s version). Porcelain plate bowls and the like are also worthy of matching. I comprehend it appears odd but I am desperately seeking to purchase the Hermes bolide 45 shark bag. Hey Denise, You’re proper to be nervous about Western Union cost, because you can’t dispute cost like with bank card. Just now I’ve obtained very attention-grabbing comment from a vendor explaining their point of view the fee strategies. Also, there are not any other features that might improve its usability or functionality. It’s only core keys are the design and model name. The major distinction this bag has from the unique Birkin is that it has a shoulder strap. However, when you love baggage that have a shoulder strap, you will love this feature. Another added bonus is that it comes with a dust bag to help you maintain the standard of your purse. As talked about earlier, you need to do some legwork to get the possibility to buy a Birkin bag. Hey Annie, yeah I’ve received it from pursevalley and it’s fabulous. Frankly, it's best high quality bag I have ever received from them. Can you tell me which website this handstitched birkin was from? Unfortunately, because of this I truly have also spent more than I would like to admit in the originals. Considering that I only purchase the smaller variations, I rapidly found that these luggage were more and more troublesome to seek out, and I had bother getting more than two over a year. The different can be very good, it's the silver buckle of S5, but the two gold buckles put together 9j are extra foreign. For many mere mortals the dream of proudly owning a Hermes replica bag is unrealistic, with the fee simply far too high however here at Replicashermesoutlet.com we offer stunning replica bags for just a few hundred dollars. WWE Summerslam 2019 Review
So before I get into the show, I am going to try something new on some of these reviews. Sometimes I watch the big shows with my girlfriend, who will now be referred to as HazyHannah, and she wanted me to throw in some of her comments. So at the end of each grade section, imma write down some things that she said during the match. If you want to check out her blog, it is @hanster36.
Drew Gulak vs. Oney Lorcan for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship: This was the first match of the kickoff show, which was disappointing to see, but something had to be in this spot. Gulak started out with a vicious shotgun dropkick, but the two mat technicians naturally went hold for hold right after that. Lorcan was actually keeping up with Gulak, so he issued a vicious slam right afterwards, then moving back into some holds. Lorcan didn’t actually regain the advantage until he took things to the outside for a hard hitting brawl. Lorcan then rolled Gulak back into the ring, only for Gulak to lock in the Gulock for a quick submission sequence. They then started with a striking contest, which Gulak won with a vicious series of slaps, finishing off by locking in the Gulock, but Lorcan rolled through for a very near fall. Lorcan then picked up Gulak and dealt several slaps and European uppercuts. Lorcan tried to hit the Half and Half Suplex, but Gulak held onto the ring skirt. As the ref went to put it back in place, Gulak nailed Lorcan with a right to the throat, and then a Cyclone Crash for the win.
Grade: B-. Pretty good match. They are very similar wrestlers so they blended together quite well. The two ripped into each other with vicious strikes, and Lorcan only got madder and madder as the match went on, as he usually does. He was overwhelming Gulak, so Gulak had to bend the rules a bit to get the win. He didn’t outright cheat, but this was far from an honest victory. Interesting to see where this goes.
Apollo Crews vs. Buddy Murphy: finally, Murphy’s debut match. This should have happened months ago, on TV. Murphy started with an awesome high knee for a near fall right out of the gate. He continued to follow up with various stiff kicks and strikes to a grounded Crews. Crews fought back a bit and they had some back and forth. At one point, Murphy went for a crossbody off the middle rope, but Crews countered with a samoan drop, followed by a moonsault for a near fall. The two continued to fight, and Murphy was able to nail a cheeky nandos kick in the corner, followed by a powerbomb for a near fall. The two then continued to fight on the outside. Murphy then threw Crews into the barricade and followed up with a tope con hilo. After Murphy threw Crews back into the ring, Rowan ran in from behind and started to beat Murphy down. Murphy won the match by disqualification.
Rowan threw Murphy all around ringside, and wiped him out with a running crossbody. He finished it off with a powerbomb into the ring post.
Grade: C+. The two were actually having a pretty good match here. Crews is a great striker just like Murphy, with just enough flying between the two of them to have an exciting contest for the pre show. However, the finish was not good. Yes, Murphy won, but he looked weak in his victory. And in his first match, he was beaten down ridiculously afterwards. He was not able to really get over because of it, and I really didn’t like that booking. But I won’t lower it too much because their match was decent. More time would have done them good.
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. The IIconics for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: I’m glad that these belts actually got on the card. They deserve better than the pre-show, but they need to be built up a bit more before they can hit the main show. Bliss was dressed as Buzz Lightyear ring gear, which for some reason pissed off Corey Graves to no end. It seems like Bliss is going face after winning these belts, which is certainly interesting. Saxton was defending Cross too, this is an odd switch of character. At one point, Bliss was yelling at Peyton Royce on the outside, and then turned right around into a big boot from Billy Cay for a near fall. Royce followed it up with a really nice shinbreaker for a near fall, and threw a tantrum after. She went to continue the assault, but Bliss floored her with a strike to the jaw. She went up for Twisted Bliss, only for Cay to try and pull her off the top rope. Cross yanked Cay off the apron, and Bliss hit Twisted Bliss to retain.
Grade: D. This sucked. The IIconics are just bad. I’m glad they lost the belts. Bliss and Cross have yet to really impress me, but they were not what I disliked about this. The IIconics aren’t very good, and the sudden change in opinion from the commentators was very odd. It was about half way through the match when Graves started to talk about how he hates that Bliss went soft. That makes sense, but her liking Disney is no reason to start hating her.
Becky Lynch vs. Natalya in a submission match for the Raw Women’s Championship: Nattie came out second because she is from Canada, which is more important than the belt. Naturally, they started with a couple slaps to the face, but Lynch quickly unloaded on her in the corner. Lynch locked in a triangle quickly, but Nattie rolled them to the outside and started to assault the legs. Nattie then gave her a snap vertical suplex, which her leg snapping into the ropes. At one point, Natalya wrapped Lynch’s legs in a sharpshooter on the top rope for a great visual. The only way that Lynch could escape was by falling to the outside. At first I didn’t like that a submission match didn’t have countouts or DQ’s, but it certainly improved the match. At one point, Lynch caught Nattie out of a basement dropkick, and Lynch locked in a sharpshooter of her own. After escaping, Nattie locked in a disarmer, turning the tables and dragging Lynch back into the middle of the ring. As Lynch tried to reverse into her own hold, Nattie had a great reversal into a sharpshooter for an intense submission sequence, where Lynch had to slide out of the ring to escape. Lynch slid back in and locked in the Disarmer for the win.
Grade: B. Pretty good technical exchange to open up the card. Meticulous holds, some nice limb work, just a solid match. The finish was not very dramatic, especially after a much better submission sequence with Nattie in control, but it was certainly the right outcome. The crowd was behind Natalya a lot during this match, so there was a hot atmosphere. It got everyone pumped up, so there was certainly nothing to complain about. HazyHannah (my girlfriend) says: Nattie is a dumb nickname.
Backstage, Trish Stratus was interviewed, and she said that although she is feeling the pressure, that is when she thrives. She said that tonight, she will prove that those who paved the way for the women’s evolution are just as good as the women of today. Stratus declared herself the Queen of Queens, and left.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Goldberg: Ziggler cut a promo, saying that he is the best thing in pro wrestling today. He said that Goldberg fears Ziggler, and Goldberg’s music cut him off. He did not whack his head on the door this time around. The two squared off right away, and Ziggler hit a quick superkick, but Goldberg kicked out at one. Ziggler nailed another, and another kickout at one. Goldberg speared Ziggler out of his shoes, and gave him the jackhammer for the win.
After the match, Ziggler got on the mic and called Goldberg a dipshit and said that he hits like a baby. He told Goldberg to fight him like a man. Golderg walked back to the ring, before Ziggler even got back to his feet. He gave him another spear, and another great sell. Ziggler got on the mic again after Goldberg left, and said that anyone can get lucky twice, and said that he didn’t have balls. He called Goldberg a laughingstock, and said that he will never stay down. When Goldberg got in the ring, he threw the mic away, helped him up, and gave him another wicked spear.
Grade: B+. Everything I wanted it to be. Less than a minute. Wonderful. Above average squash match and Ziggler sold like he was a limp corpse. The extra attacks where what bumped this up to a B+. This was really really fun to see, and even though a legend shouldn’t beat a full time guy, this was an exception. Just some fun stuff. I loved it. HazyHannah says: match of the night. This could have gone on for the rest of the night and I would have been fine with it. “Anyone can get lucky THREE times.”
Before the next match, they showed the international commentators, and they showed the british announce team. It was Carmella and R-Truth, trying to hide. They had an awful accent and it was awesome. Drake Maverick showed up to try to get the pin, but they ran before he got there. Funny stuff, it was nice to see.
AJ Styles vs. Ricochet for the WWE United States Championship: Ricochet was out in a full jumpsuit, looking like a biker Batman. Ricochet quickly used the OC out at ringside to his advantage, jumping off of them to hit Styles with a flying hurricanrana. Styles quickly got the advantage, and started to take out Ricochet’s base. Ricochet sold the leg like really well, even selling it when he hit his offense. At one point, Ricochet went for a springboard forearm, but only used one leg and got a near fall out of it. Several times as Ricochet went for his high impact offense, his knee buckled out from under him and he couldn’t continue. Styles capitalized on this and locked it a Calf Crusher, but Ricochet quickly transitioned into an Anaconda Vice. Ricochet took the advantage, and he had to fight off Anderson and Gallows on the outside, and Ricochet went for a twisting 450 splash, but Styles caught him in the air and transitioned into a Styles Clash for the win. It was an awesome finish.
After the match, the OC hit Ricochet with a Magic Killer and gave a Too Sweet.
Grade: B+. Good stuff from these two, good selling from Ricochet. They had a nice strike based match that was interlaid with some great leg work. Still probably not the best that they can do, but it was fun. That finishing spot was badass too. Really good stuff, but still not as good as I expected. HazyHannah says: Ricochet looked like a robot, and they hid his gorgeous muscles. When a man has that much muscles, you let ‘em pop.
Backstage again, we saw the Street Profits putting over Summerslam and Toronto. As they were talking, Ric Flair came up and they started to dance around with him and wooed a whole bunch. It was cute.
Bayley vs. Ember Moon for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. The two started with a bit of grappling before getting into some nice striking. Bayley worked over Moon’s neck and back with various suplexes. Bayley even locked in a weird reverse boston crab, which looked painful but odd. Moon was able to fight back with some of her very interesting offense, kipping up for a hurricanrana and then a superkick. But when she went for a suicide dive, Bayley countered with a stiff strike to the face. Bayley tried to capitalize with a superplex, but Moon nailed a super hurricanrana, and then a spinout codebreaker for a near fall. Bayley won a bit out of nowhere, with a Bayley to belly off the top for the win.
Grade: B-. They had some good interactions, but it felt like they just started to go from move to move randomly, without much story or reason. Moon looked good though, and got a big pop during one of her near falls. So people like her a lot, she could be big. But it makes sense that Bayley won, this isn’t quite the match where it is her place to lose. I hope they do more with moon in the future, because she is great. HazyHannah says: Ember Moon looks like someone’s first D&D character.
Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon, if Owens loses then he quits: Before the match started, Shane got on the mic and called out Elias as the special guest enforcer. Shane rolled out of the ring right away, and Elias prevented Owens from attacking him. Eventually Shane got the first hit, and the two teed off on each other in the corner. At one point, Owens went to attack Shane on the outside, but Elias distracted him and allowed Shane to chuck him off and into the barricade. At one point, Shane tried to go for a Sharpshooter, but Owens pushed him away and nailed a pop up powerbomb, but Elias hopped on the apron and made sure the ref couldn’t count. Elias then threw a chair in the ring, which Owens nearly used, but opted not to. Shane then accidentally nailed Elias with a forearm, so Owens nailed a superkick, aa swanton bomb and a frog splash, but Elias pulled the ref out of the ring and stopped the count. Owens then gave Elias a cannonball off the apron, hitting both Elias and the ref. Owens opted to beat down Elias with a chair while the ref was down, taking him out of the equation. The ref got back in the ring and threw the chair away, so Owens gave Shane a low blow and a stunner for the win.
Grade: C. The overbooking of this match made it better than expected, but it still wasn’t very good. Fun to see some comeuppance. The low blow was satisfying. But this was just fun enough to be okay. HazyHannah says: I just don’t really care about this one.
Charlotte Flair vs. Trish Stratus: the two started with a classic staredown, but Trish came out swinging with a Thesz press. Charlotte quickly gained control by throwing her into the apron. Stratus was very much overwhelmed in this match. at one point she was hit with a big boot off the apron. Charlotte then held the ring ropes open, and then ambushed her as she entered. She was constantly jaw jacking with Stratus, who would constantly get too frustrated and get a couple shots in. At one point, the two battled on the top rope, and Charlotte nearly landed a super powerbomb, but Stratus countered with a hurricanrana for a near fall. Flair targeted the leg afterwards, giving Stratus a bit more respect. Stratus then locked in a figure four of her own to a huge pop. She even bridged into the figure 8, prompting Corey Graves to say “it’s not fair to flair.” Stratus then hit Stratusfaction, but Charlotte still kicked out. Stratus then tried to keep fighting, but Charlotte put her down with a big boot, and locked in the figure 8 for the win.
Grade: B+. This was quite a solid match. Stratus delivered a much better match than a lot of people expected, and I think that she could have another run in WWE if she wanted to. Charlotte was awesome here, playing up the “legend not good enough” angle. Her trash talking was great, and the second that she realized that Stratus was dangerous, Charlotte got serious and put her down. Good story and a good match. HazyHannah says: why do they have to wear extensions? Just let them put their hair up. Vince is a disgusting old man who loves blondes.
Backstage, Bret Hart gave Seth Rollins some encouragement.
Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship: As the match started Orton tried to give Kingston a pancake, but Kofi was not having the disrespect. Orton tried to push the champion, but Kingston was not just going to take that. He pushed right back and stood up to his old enemy. Early on, Orton pushed Kingston off the top and sent him flying into the barricade. Orton then slowed the pace down attacked each limb. Kofi fought back, giving Orton a boom drop and calling him stupid a bunch. Kingston then tried for trouble in paradise, but Orton caught him and gave him a brutal neckbreaker. on the outside, Kingston gave Orton an awesome flying clothesline to the outside, but he didn’t keep control for long. Orton gave him a hangman’s DDT, and tried for an RKO, but Kofi fought out. Kingston pushed him away and went for a splash, but Orton caught him with an RKO, but Kingston rolled to the outside. Orton then followed him to the outside and went to embarrass him in front of his kids, but Kofi fought back with a flurry of strikes. Then ref called for the bell for a double countout, ending the match in a stupid and BS way, which the crowd definitely agreed with.
Kingston destroyed him with kendo stick shots to the back. He shattered the stick, and every time he hit Orton, the crowd chanted stupid.
Grade: D+. This wasn’t too exciting. The action was slow, they didn’t incorporate the story into the match at all, and the ending was dumb and unnecessary.  Kingston should have won and just finished the feud. Summerslam is a place to cap things off, not start new things. This feud didn’t need to continue, but now it well. Not a good match. HazyHannah says: I fucking hate Orton. He is so boring. When they called him a brick wall, it is only because he has no personality or charisma. He has cool tattoos though.
Finn Balor vs. The Fiend: Wyatt’s entrance was awesome, it was creepy as all hell. He had a lantern in a severed head, and a remixed version of his music. It started with the firefly funhouse but slowly morphed into the darker fiend color scheme, with “Let Me In” showing up word by word on the titantron. He was getting Holy Shit chants the second that he got in the ring. The Fiend changed up his mannerisms to be creepier and more sadistic, and was powering him all around the ring. He delivered wicked strikes to his head, neck and back. He nearly hit sister abigail, but Balor fought out of it with some quick strikes and attacks. Finn went to the top for the Coup de Gras, but the Fiend caught him in the mandible claw and got the pin.
After the match, the lights went out and The Fiend was illuminated with strobe lights, and then he was gone, leaving Balor alone in the ring.
Grade: B-. A perfectly cool squash match. Exactly what it needed to be. It was creepy, showcased a new cool character, and got over with the crowd right away. Now we just need to see how the book the Fiend from here. I hope he isn’t wrestling every week on TV, because he needs a mystique around him. Keep up the firefly funhouse stuff, and let him be cool for a while, at least until he has a story that he needs to lose in. HazyHannah says: Finn looks like he is wearing a diaper. It is really distracting. But it’s a good thing he is wearing one, cuz the Fiend probably made him piss his pants.
Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship: Rollins came out with his ribs taped up. Lesnar targeted the ribs, and Rollins sold like he was shot every time. Early on Lesnar went for a German suplex, but Rollins flipped out of it and nailed the curb stomp for a near fall. Rollins then nailed a flying knee, a pair of superkicks, but was caught in an F5 when he went for the curb stomp. Lesnar then picked Rollins up by the wrapping on his ribs and threw him across the ring. Lesnar kept control for a long time, delivering loads of German suplexes. He tried to give Rollins an F5 into the ring post, but Rollins slipped out and shoved him into it. Rollins tried to keep it up, but Lesnar continued with the German suplexes. He even busted out a bear hug to continue the attack on the ribs. Rollins fought back into it and delivered a pair of suicide dives, but Brock caught him on the third and ran him into the ringpost. Lesnar then went for a move through the table, but Seth countered and got him on the table with a superkick, giving him a huge frog splash through it. He and Lesnar got back in the ring, so Lesnar nailed him with another frog splash, and hit a Curb Stomp for yet another near fall. Rollins then went for the curb stomp again, but Lesnar got him up for an F5. Rollins slipped out and nailed another superkick, finishing the match with a Curb Stomp.
Grade: A-. This was a really good match. They had a lot of big spots that were mixed in with working over Rollins’ ribs, and they did a really good job of convincing us that Rollins couldn’t win this. He was doing a great job of being in peril, and it made for a great match. Awesome selling from both guys, and Rollins once again overcame the odds. Match of the night. HazyHannah says: this is the best match of the night and it’s only been 5 minutes.
Overall Grade: B-
Predictions: 9/10. Although the finish of the WWE Championship was dumb.
Pros: Nattie vs. Lynch; goldberg squash; style vs. ricochet; charlotte vs. stratus; fiend debut; main event
Cons: owens vs. shane; kingston vs. orton

Rapid Results:
Alexa Bliss became Ms. Money in the Bank after successfully unhooking the briefcase
Carmella retained the SmackDown LIVE’s Women’s Championship against Asuka with help from a returning James Ellsworth
Alexa Bliss defeated Nia Jax to become the new RAW Women’s Champion
The Rundown:
The MITB Ladder Match was explosive from the get-go. Natalya took the first shot at Sasha Banks and everyone broke out into a brawl. Women fled to ringside and Becky Lynch held the fort down in the ring by using the ladder to kick competitors to ringside. Ember Moon leaped from the timer keeper’s area, taking Lynch out. She then scuffled with Natalya until ramming her into the steel steps. As the only one standing, Moon went into the ring and took her shot. However, Naomi re-entered and the two battled. Ember got the upper hand, but Sasha Banks ran back in with a ladder. She swung at Moon, but Ember superkicked the ladder back into Banks. Ember tried to leg sweep Banks into the closed ladder, but Sasha caught the ladder before colliding with it. Ember then hit her with a springboard crossbody, forcing her to land spine-first onto the ladder. Ember went back to setting up a ladder, but Lana ran in. She clocked Moon’s legs with the steel structure and slammed her onto the corner with a deadly facebuster. Lana tossed the small ladder out and brought in a big one. She tried to launch it at Natalya, but she dodged it. Natalya then slammed Lana onto the ladder as Naomi sprinted in. Natalya dropped Naomi on the ladder and ran across her back before dropkicking her. Charlotte Flair inserted herself and took down Natalya with chops and a slam. Flair grabbed the ladder and Lynch ran in. They played tug of war with the ladder as Naomi entered the equation. She jumped onto the ladder, then leaping off and taking out Natalya! Lynch and Flair tried to hit her with the ladder, but Naomi ducked and dropkicked the ladder into them both! Alexa Bliss halted Naomi’s chances to set the ladder up, but she took her out with a dive to the outside. She then took Sasha out with an amazing blockbuster from the apron. Becky, Naomi, and Ember were all in the ring at this point. Lynch tried to fight them off, but the two double teamed her. They fought over the ladder as Becky ran up, attempting to win. They shoved her off and threw the ladder into her in the corner. Naomi and Moon went back and forth until Naomi was sent into the bridged ladder with a hip toss from Moon. Sasha drilled Ember into the ring post and onto a propped ladder. Lana then got involved, but Banks got the edge and placed her on top of Ember. She then bounced off of the ropes and sent them falling through the ladder with a double knees. The historic rivalry between Sasha and Charlotte reignited as the two squared off. Flair tried to send Sasha into the ladder with a Razor’s Edge, but Banks held onto the ladder. Natalya pulled Charlotte off and Becky pushed the ladder over, resulting in Banks taking Natalya and Charlotte out with a meteora! Becky sprinted up the ladder, but Bliss took her out with a right hand. Sasha and Becky climbed the ladder and went back and forth. Bliss got back involved and Lana climbed another ladder that she had set up. Natalya and Ember joined the climb! Natalya powerbombed Banks into one of the ladders, sending Becky flying. Flair powerbombed Moon into a different ladder as she and Bliss pried Lana off. Flair then ripped Bliss off the ladder, but she countered with a sunset flip! Alexa pushed Lana, but she clocked Bliss with a roundhouse kick! She then locked the Accolade in before climbing the ladder. Naomi leaped from the apron onto the ladder and stopped Lana from winning! She sent Lana off and tried to unhook it, but Lynch got involved. Becky knocked Naomi out and made her climb! Charlotte ran up and the two battled at the top! Alexa pushed the ladder over, but the two landed on their feet. Flair took Alexa out with a spear. Banks entered and took Flair out with a backstabber and Naomi rammed Sasha into the ladder. Lana took Naomi out and climbed, but Natalya took her out with an electric chair. Ember superkicked her off and ran up, but Charlotte speared her onto an angled ladder. Lynch then hit Charlotte with a Bexploder. Becky was seconds away from winning until Alexa tipped the ladder, sending Becky face-first into a ladder. Alexa Bliss removed the briefcase and became Ms. Money in the Bank.
Carmella looked to defend her championship against her most dangerous competitor yet. The two locked up and Carmella pushed her back. Asuka went for spinning backfists, but Carmella jumped between the ropes and taunted her. She slapped Asuka across the face before claiming that she is not scared of her! Asuka took her down with a series of hip attacks. She kicked her through the ropes and nailed her with a hip attack, sending her to ringside. Carmella stole her title from the time keeper’s area, but Asuka hit her with a sliding knee from the apron. Asuka tried to capitalize, but the champion pulled Asuka into the LED post. She then rubbed her face across the canvas before applying a unique submission maneuver. Asuka escaped and went for the AsukaLock, but ‘Mella fought out. She then dodged a spinning backfist and kicked Asuka’s knee before superkicking her. She started wearing her down with a headlock until The Empress twisted out. She ran to the ropes, but Carmella kicked her down before going for her headscissors takedown. Asuka shoved her off and went for her dropkick, but Carmella dodged the incoming attack. She went for a kick, but Asuka caught her and applied a leg lock. She luckily got to the ropes, forcing a break. She started shoving Asuka, which fired her up. She took Carmella out with a knee to her skull and a fiery comeback. She started targeting her arm and went for the AsukaLock, but Carmella grabbed onto the ropes. She stunned her before going for a hip attack, but Carmella pulled the rope, sending her to ringside. She then bounced Asuka into the rope and kick her hand, sending her back down. Carmella then ran through the ropes and took her out with a suicide dive! Asuka looked to finish it off, but another Asuka appeared! The mask was removed and it was James Ellsworth! Carmella capitalized and knocked Asuka out cold with a superkick! Carmella retained!
The bell rang and Nia Jax speared Ronda Rousey into the corner. She then whipped her across the ring multiple times. Ronda Rousey was able to dodge Nia and went after her with a series of strikes. Nia sent her done with a headbutt and splashed her into the corner. She placed Ronda on her shoulders, signaling for the end. However, Rousey trapped her arm and went for the armbar! Nia sent Ronda crashing into the canvas with a brutal powerbomb. Ronda fell to ringside and Nia soon followed. Ronda tried to send Nia with a hurricarana, but Jax whipped her into the barricade. Ronda tried to battle back, but Jax slammed Ronda from extreme heights with a gorilla press. Rousey then leaped on Nia and applied a guillotine, but Nia flipped her over. She tried to roll her up, but Nia slammed her head onto the canvas. Nia went for a bearhug and drained Ronda’s energy. Rousey got down and hit Nia with forearms. However, Jax flung her into the ropes and took her out with a pop-up Samoan Drop! Ronda kicked out and Nia went for a leg drop, but Ronda moved out of the way! She then ascended to the top rope after luring Nia into the corner and locked in an armbar in the ropes! She then climbed to the top and took her out with a crossbody, but Jax stayed in it. She clocked with strikes and a knee before flipping her with a judo throw! Rousey took her down with a slam and went for the armbar. She broke Nia’s grip and went to lock it in.
However, Alexa Bliss ran out and clocked Ronda with the briefcase! She threw her into the ring post and then threw her over the announce table! She then used the briefcase to injure Nia’s arm. She cashed it in and took Jax down with the DDT. She then climbed the ropes and hit the Twisted Bliss to successfully pin Nia Jax! Alexa Bliss is the new RAW Women’s Champion!
The Recap:
Money in the Bank was truly a roller coaster of emotions. I ranted enough about Alexa Bliss winning last night on Twitter (@RyansFlair) so I’m a lot more civil now.
Starting off with the match of the night, the Women’s MITB Ladder Match. I’m truly proud of the 7 girls who put on that classic. This is only the second in history and the girls showed the men up. As usual, though. I was extremely proud of Lana for taking these bumps and spots like a champ when she’s only competed in a handful of matches. She truly earned her spot in the match. Ember Moon, Sasha Banks, and Naomi did THAT. I mean, I truly am not surprised, but the spots they pulled out were just so exciting and kept the match moving. The ending was tired with Alexa napping at ringside, only to pull through with the victory. Although, I honestly don’t mind Alexa winning anymore, but I am just disappointed we have to wait another year for someone to hold the briefcase.
Carmella did fantastic against Asuka. I enjoyed the match from beginning to end. I’m on the edge about James Ellsworth returning. If she’s going to hold the title for a bit, he can stay around. But, if she loses, he can leave her alone because he won’t be needed.
Ronda and Nia put on such an amazing match up. The selling from Ronda and domination from Nia were beyond exceptional. This was easily my favorite match from Nia yet. As much as I didn’t want her to win originally, Alexa’s cash in was legendary. The way she beat Ronda up and tossed her over the announce table like trash was everything. Her finishing Nia off was bittersweet. Jax overcame the bullying and finally captured her big moment at WrestleMania…only for the bully to pin her and win the title right back. I guess sometimes the bully does win…that is if Nia Jax doesn’t win the title right back. I guess we’ll have to see!
What did you think of Money in the Bank?

Anthony’s Stupid Daily Blog (208): Sun 9th Oct 2022
I was delighted to see that Bray Wyatt returned to WWE at last night's Extreme Rules pay per view. It's sad that any time this guy got a decent amount of momentum and fan support (Which was a lot of the time) Vince McMahon would always decide to clip the poor guys wings by feeding him to John Cena or Goldberg. Hopefully this time around HHH will do a better job of booking him and utilizing him to his full potential. As mush as I want to see him pushed to the top I don't want to see him take both belts off Roman Reigns though I'd be fine if he took just the WWE Championship from him as I want Roman to hold the Universal title for at least another two years so that he'll beat Hulk Hogan's 1st run and become the third longest reigning champion in WWE history. V1 from OSW Review suggested Bray should beat Brock Lesnar clean in his first match back which I am 100% all for as this would get him over huge, then they could have him beat Reigns for the WWE Championship and begin a lengthy reign with that belt to try and undo all the damage Vince did to his character.
Saw the video of Michael J Fox at a convention this past week and it was a bit tough to watch. His Parkinson's disease has really started to take effect. Whatever drugs he was taking were doing a good job up until now of controlling the symptoms so they were less noticeable in terms of his shakes but now it's like he's being pulled back and forth by invisible ropes. I can't imagine the discomfort the poor guy has experienced over the last 30 years. From what I've read on Twitter after the Q&A Fox also had to stand at a table while being held up by various helper in order to try and sign as many autographs as he could which seems like a really cruel thing to talk someone into doing. I hope that he managed to have fun during this appearance but you can tell the poor guy was feeling the effects of his awful disease. Hopefully a cure is found for Parkinson's as soon as possible The back of the toilet has started to leak again whenever it flushes. I told Mam this and she flushed it in order to investigate for herself and a big pool of water appeared on the bathroom floor as a result mam went to the kitchen to get some tools and in her frustration she said "I don't know what you've been doing to it". I was taken aback by this because although I can understand her frustration since she's the bill payer in the house but I can't imagine what the fuck she meant by this. "What have I been doing to it?" Well it's a toilet so there's really only two options. I love my Mam to death but she has a nasty habit of assuming that when something's gone wrong that me or one of the kids has done something deliberately to cause it. After we stopped the leaking in the bathroom things got worse as we went down to the kitchen and saw that the ceiling was leaking. The last thing we need amid the threat of rising bills is the fucking kitchen ceiling falling in. I put a towel on the kitchen floor to catch the drips and we resolved to figure this out in the morning as we were too tired to get into it tonight. However I went downstairs later on and the drips had stopped so maybe a tiny bit of water from the bathroom had dropped down onto the kitchen ceiling and now the toilet's fixed we might not have this issue again.

WWE No Mercy 2017 Review
Well, I just finished watching WWE No Mercy 2017 and...boy did they build this thing well then just shit the fucking bed...let’s get into this, shall we?
Apollo Crews vs Elias Sampson: 2.5 out of 5 (Elias wins)
Pre-show bullshit. Who cares? Everyone got their schitck in, fairly mediocre affair.
The Miz vs Jason Jordan for the IC title: 3.5 out of 5 (Miz wins)
Pretty good match. Both guys looked good, got their schtick in well enough. It was an entertaining bout. Miz wins, which is the right move, but we gotta get on fixing Jason Jordan soon before he’s dead in the water.
Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt: 3 out of 5 (Finn wins)
Average match. Both of them got their schtick in, told an okay story, but Finn coming back from the adversity and winning was just...lame. Bray winning would have made more sense.
The Shield vs The Bar: 4 out of 5 (The Shield wins)
Another great tag match from these guys. Good ring work, some fun spots, and a decent pace that kept things fresh. Cesaro getting his teeth knocked out was pretty grizzly. Shield won, which keeps them looking strong. Good job.
Alexa Bliss vs Bayley vs Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax vs Emma for the Women’s Title: 3 out of 5 (Bliss wins)
Well...it was better than every one of the Smackdown 5 ways. It moved at a decent pace, there were some good spots, plus Bliss winning keeps her looking okay before dropping it to Auska.
Roman Reigns vs John Cena: 3.5 out of 5 (Reigns wins [lol])
I would give it a 4, but fuck that ending and fuck this show. Really good match, both guys looked great, and there were some fun spots. But Jesus Christ guys...Roman went over clean? and didn’t turn heel? I have nothing more to say. Fuck this.
Enzo Amore vs Neville for the Cruiserweight title: 2 out of 5 (Enzo wins)
RIP Cruiserweight division. 2016-2017. First of all, the match was a glorified squash for most of it. Neville got his schtick in and Enzo didn’t do much so it was nothing memorable. But fucking hell...did you have to put the belt on Meme-Zo? The guy is constantly exposed when he isn’t in a tag team situation. I swear to god...this show...
Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title: 3.5 out of 5 (Lesnar wins)
Again, I’d give it a 4, but FUCK. THAT. ENDING. Both guys looked great, and told an excellent story. They lumbered around and hit a fuck ton of power moves, what’s not to love? But Brock winning? Come on guys...it was Strowman’s time. He deserves that belt. But whatever, guess we gotta save Brock losing the belt for Roman...
WWE No Mercy 2017 overall score: 3/5
Main events were fine but hampered by shit booking. I am seriously considering giving up on WWE if they don’t stop with the Roman Reigns “face of WWE” push. Its getting hard to handle.
