-> Other details: Terrance is the life of the party and the kind of person to make a friend anywhere he goes. He's a pretty great cook, a tech whiz, and quite the charmer! He admittedly can be childish at times, but he always jokes that he's "making up for lost time." Despite having a challenging childhood, he has been an extremely compassionate and involved single father* to his 10 year old daughter Shereé! But between his demanding job and being the primary caregiver to a very loved and spoiled 10 year old, he's had little opportunity to fill the relationship void in his life. He's not getting any younger though, and he feels like he needs to take the time to find love, especially because he wants to expand his family in the future!

-> Random Rapid-Fire Likes: Helping Shereé run her lines/songs/dances for her upcoming performances. The retro/70s aesthetic (the social justice movements, celebrities, music, fashion, decor, and so on). Pops of color in an outfit. Social media. Chips and ceviche or coconut shrimp (can't pick a favorite food between the two). Reading the newspaper and doing the crossword like a little old man (He does his NYT "Wordle" every morning, too). Trying out new recipes (the more complex, the better). Rock climbing. Dressing up. Naps!!

-> Random Rapid-Fire Dislikes: Any kind of "excessive" noise (fireworks, music with a lot of "banging," noisy people, etc.) Getting stuck in traffic. Mayonnaise and most soups for some reason?? The fact that he snores (RIP to whoever shares a room with him... he's tried everything to stop it). Getting paired with someone who doesn't know what they're doing in a multiplayer game mode. People who don't brush their teeth. Toe socks. Snakes!!! (He would say: "Something that can eat you is not a damn pet!")

*Note: Just wanted to add that he has absolutely no issues with his ex, they just didn't work out as a couple. His ex sees Shereé every other weekend, but Shereé has always lived with Terrance full time.

Lastly: here is his confident, talented, adorable daughter with high expectations, a love for gossip, and a big heart...Shereé!

She's lowkey a mini-Terrance with enhanced performance capabilities lol. She wants "to be a superstar" when she grows up and she lovessss dogs (just like Cherry!!!).

Isaias Araujo immigrated from Selvadorada to Del Sol Valley when he was a kid too young to really remember his grandfather's home. thistle trelegan is fascinated by all sorts of things: medieval medicine, bird migration patterns, geode formation, i mean- really any strangely specific thing you can think of.  thistle loves to read (and talk) about anything and everything.  after all, she studied in college to become a librarian !  when she isn’t reading to the kids during story time and sorting through hundreds of returned books, she volunteers at the local animal shelter.  this same shelter is where she adopted her cat, cupboard (aka cuppy) !  they absolutely adore all kinds of animals, having a handful of pet frogs, tarantulas, and mantises in their abode.

thistle can come across a bit awkward with new personal connections, and often struggles with self-confidence.  but she hopes entering this competition of sorts will allow her to blossom more with how she interacts with others and how she sees herself.  they’re eager to dip their toes into the dating pool and maybe even find their forever partner in the process <3

Joseph "Joey" Harris-Ruiz Submission for @wrixie's Juliana!

The Basics: -> Human; He/Him (and Trans!) -> Bisexual Disaster -> Born in Moonwood Mill, but his parents divorced when he was like 5, so he floated between there and Selvadorada. Currently he's just vibing, not settled to any one place. -> Young Adult (irl probably like 28 y.o.)

Joey's traits are: Loves the Outdoors, Loner, and Hotheaded. He has also has two additional traits (from self-discovery): Good + Maker.

I used CC pretty sparingly; most of the stuff he wears is from the horse pack. I have the Wonderful Whims mod as well, and his preferences have been set with that! Just clarifying, for funsies: his mom lives in Selvadorada and his dad is from Moonwood Mill.

-> His current aspiration is: Outdoor Enthusiast. He has completed the Master Maker aspiration already and currently works as a freelance crafter.

-> Education: He dropped out of high school and has yet to finish... he might never go back. Who knows!

-> His likes include: Alternative and Retro music (he has the music taste of a middle-aged dad). His favorite color is orange. His hobbies include handiness, cooking, fishing, gardening, singing, and playing guitar. He likes hearing people's deep thoughts, complaints, and joking around (he is a huuuuuge smartass who copes and deflects with humor and sarcasm, unfortunately). His favorite kind of sims are argumentative, cerebral, nature enthusiasts.

-> His dislikes include: DJ Booth, Electronica, and Disco music. If it's related to school or academics, you can guarantee that he hates it lmao: i.e. writing or research and debate. Small talk makes his skin crawl. He doesn't like deception, gossip, or long-ass stories. Super spirited or high energy sims stress him out.

-> Some fun facts include: Joey is an only child. He's a really good cook, which surprises people! He hates his smile (his mom used to call him "Bunny" because of his front teeth, so closed-mouth smiles only unless he's super comfortable around you). The real story behind how he lost his eye and got some pretty heinous scars is that he had a bad run-in with a wild fox when he was a kid working on his dad's farm - he gets annoyed when people ask unsolicited though, so he usually makes up stupid stories before telling them the truth. He started transitioning when he was 13: his mom was very supportive but his dad...not so much (they're still amicable though). Despite growing up in Moonwood Mill, he barely knows anything about occults lmao. He's very observant and has been told he's a good kisser!

Note: He has some bonus traits from gameplay and an array of skills. His current desire for having a child is set to "Neutral." If Lumpinou's LGBTQ+ mod is being used his settings are bisexual/biromantic, alloromantic/allosexual, and transgender: did voice therapy, did hormone replacement therapy, had top surgery (has not elected to have bottom surgery).

Myra Chappell for @wrixie​’s Eevee

spellcaster | ya | she/her | overachiever, neat, outgoing

Twenty-five years ago, Myra was born to a goblin couple under mysterious conditions involving a group of cast-out spellcasters, heavy rain, and a bit (a lot) of magic.

Myra’s been through a lot in her short life. When she was only fourteen years old, her parents got lost traveling in the Magic Realm. Wherever she goes, humans as well as the supernatural give her odd looks, calling her an unnatural freak of nature; a goblin able to cast spells yet who barely looks like a goblin at all. A spellcaster whose existence even the Sages don’t approve of. It’s never been for the lack of trying on Myra’s part - she could strike up a conversation with a tree if she wanted to - but others simply get uncomfortable around her.

Despite everything, no one has ever discouraged Myra or stopped her from reaching for the stars. She has big dreams from casting the most difficult spells to attempting to befriend animals who seem to dislike her as well. Nothing in the world could bring her down from the high clouds her mind rests in.

Only four months ago Myra gave up on searching for her parents from the Magic Realm and decided it was time to leave her old life behind. It was time to look for someone to fall in love with. When the opportunity to meet Eevee came up, Myra jumped at the chance, beyond excited to meet someone who she just might get along with.

I gave Myra one outfit per category to give an idea of her style but of course you can change her clothing/anything to fit your game! I also used quite a few sliders it seems but I tried very hard to keep the cc to the minimum (also makes it easier for me lol). It was a fun challenge!

Carmela was born and raised on a little farm in Henford-on-Bagley but moved to Oasis Springs after graduating as valedictorian from her high school. She is the eldest of 5 kids and a textbook over-achiever. Incredibly smart and charismatic, this woman knows what she wants and never gives up.

Although gifted in maths and sciences from a young age, Carmela also enjoys the arts! She paints in her free time and has been playing the violin since she was a child. Art and music help her calm down as she does have a bit of a temper.

She is a self-proclaimed "health nut" and does her best to make time for some sort of physical activity daily. Her favorite is rock-climbing but a quick 30 min jog after work will often do the trick. Carmela is also mostly vegetarian (she just really loves steak).

Whether true midlife crisis or simple want to change career paths, lifestyle changes have been more and more popular in the past years, attracting sims from all walks of life. From getting into a new hobby to turning over their life completely, more and more sims are looking to give more meaning to their lives and find their true calling. Agencies centering on these lifestyles changes have flourished over the years, gaining more and more popularity and reaching sims all across the nation.

Focus on two of these agencies, Postcard Legacy Enterprise and Dun&Don Corp.

Postcard Legacy Enterprise was founded just over a year ago but has become extremely popular thanks to the wide variety of services they offer. They specialise in complete lifestyle changes, helping sims turning their life around and finding the career and life they truly want to live through in-depth counselling and step-by-step teachings tailored to each individual. They are also partnered up with various companies to facilitate job inclusion as well as help with creating new companies and growing a significant clientele to build a lasting business.

Their approach centers on setting clear life goals their clients want to achieve, then giving them the means to accomplish them. Sims can sign up to classes or simply ask to meet with some of the agency's coaches, each specialised in different topics to provide the best advice for each situation. They also offer access to judicial and financial counselling to assist with administrative issues.  

This extremely personalised guidance is what seduced all lot of sims already and explains the rapid growth of the Postcard Legacy Enterprise, as exemplified by Mariah, their most recent customer, who accepted to give us a small testimonial of her experience with the company:
