Multinational corporations are not your friends, no matter how many dollars they are willing to lose to appear inclusive and welcoming. And they aren’t the friends of their employees either.

Since the strikes have shown that the streaming business is no longer viable…
Do you think Blockbuster would make a comeback?

I fully support the writers and actors currently on strike in America. Art is important and it’s sad hearing how some of these creators can be Emmy nominated but struggling to pay rent at the same time. It’s particularly enraging when you consider how much the executives and companies make.
I like that a by product of these discussions is how so many workers in other industries are now questioning their own companies. I genuinely believe that there are no truly altruistic and ethical CEOs. It’s been proven time and time again that if a person in power has the opportunity to screw over their workers: they absolutely will.

I’m convinced the executives who think AI can replace actual writers don’t realize how soulless the average ChatGPT pitch can be.

Kurtwood Smith showing his support for the WGA
This honestly makes me *so* happy. It’s not surprising because Kurtwood Smith has always given a lot of credit to the writers of the shows he’s been on. And really anytime there’s new photos of him, it makes my smile. But seeing him out and about and showing his support for the writers-I’m telling you all, sweetest man alive! 💛

It’s not that I’m not working on my WIPs, it’s that I’m *checks notes* choosing not to write in solidarity with the Writers Guild Strike.
