Poppy died and was resurrected around July 4th by her sister Jasmine. They would have been against her coming back and sided with (Poppy's mother) Alyssa. You can read about the event here.

guys i dont think yall understand i see people saying stuff like "wc!shubble character motivation is just shits & gigs" and like "*insert cc name*'s lore is so angsty."

SHUBBLE'S LORE IS SO ANGSTY. WDYM "people don't like me very much bc I just get everything wet :(, some people just don't know how to appreciate the rain" IS NOT THE ANGST??? And also the other server members can just *negate* her powers (clear weather spell)?? excuse me?? and in the deep dark, her powers were literally *useless* and she was rendered powerless?!?!?! Between all the years she spent running away from her problems there was a time before Evelyn (her fae mentor) and after running away from her vamp ex who had developed an addiction to Fae blood putting her in impossible danger, where she was living more recklessly than usual. With the lapse of distraction Aiyla was met with the rerun of grief she couldn’t ignore due to the loss of her sister. She never stopped blaming herself for it and never had any answers to the why of it all anyway. Aiyla made the decision to search for answers. She was looking into the identity of the hunter who took her sisters life. During that time Aiyla met your muse- if they were human they knew about the supernatural already and whoever they were they knew of this hunter in some capacity whether it be their own personal run in or some other way of connection. They knew of Aiyla’s sister, Defne because before her death Defne had been doing her own searching to help Aiyla understand who she was more which brought her to your character. They would have known more about all this thing Aiyla was aware of at first. However, this is what led Aiyal to them. Her desire for answers and some idea of closure led her to get close to them to hopefully find out what they knew if it would lead her to the person who forever altered her life.

They grew incredibly close and developed romantic feelings for one another that neither of them had expected. I imagine it was sort of two people reluctantly working together sort of “annoyances to lovers” trope. However, as time passed Aiyla could not let the hunter go and more than once did something a bit reckless that could have endangered either of their safety. Eventually your character would have left realizing how things would go if something didn’t change. Aiyla has been in denial on why they would leave for a while. However, after this heartbreak, she met her mentor who more or less forced her into reevaluating how she was living her life. This would have been years ago. As Aiyla was with her mentor for a few years before things went wrong there and for the past two years she’s been with Lunar cove. So we have a lot of wiggle room with the timeline.

Ok SO from what we know about wc!scott lore, he’s a necromancer who’s specifically trying to revive a particular person, but atm he can only create mindless undead minions who die again within minutes (which is not ideal)

he isn’t able to do a whole lot of magic (loser knows like one spell), and the more he does the more “decay” spreads around the area he cast the spell in

he can’t afford a “real staff” so he picked up and random stick and somehow summoned a house (plot device idk man just roll with it), but the decay set in in a wide area instantly instead of slowly spreading over time

-(sidenote, this is probably because his typical undead summoning spell is a lot smaller and easier, so it takes less power and therefore makes less decay, whereas summoning a whole ass house is something he’s never done before and takes way more effort/power)-

he’s also mentioned flowers a lot, and is currently collecting black and eerie flowers to fit his aesthetic but that’s boring so I’m making lore based on 1 singular 22 minute video

Withering is already a large part of his character, as that is what happens to his minions after he summons them, even their death message says “minion withered away” and he’s said that himself in-character

so taking all of this, and my inability to make a single mcyt character a normal human, what if Scott was part wither rose?

if you look at my design (I linked it) he has a couple straight up growing from him, so before lore really kicks off I’m headcanoning that he’s part wither rose, which is why his magic revolves around death, why it’s hard for him to make it work properly (the decaying part of the wither rose thing affects it), and why all the plants and other natural life around him dies when he uses it

so either my adhd meds wore off (they definitely did) or I’m onto something here
