FNAF FANARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!! DJ MUSIC MAN AND MUSIC MAN ARE NOT THE SAME CHARACTER

many times, when fnaf artists are requested to draw music man/dj music man, they get them mixed up!!! which is reasonable!!!!!!! we know almost nothing about them, google mixes them up constantly, and a certain matpat meme has only made it more confusing!

They all have very similar faces, but they've got some staggering differences!!!!! so im detailing them and also giving some trivia/our known knowledge of them!!!

MUSIC MAN (FFPS)

The OG music man! He made his debut in FFPS/Pizzeria Simulator and makes another appearance in UCN. He is!!! weird!!

He's not built like a spider-centaur, he's literally like a minecraft creeper with a torso and a bunch of legs at the bottom.

He's got a design unlike any other fnaf animatronic, even deviating from the style of the human ones, though this is speculated to be because he seems to have design elements from enemies and bosses from Scott Cawthon's other game, The Desolate Hope.

He's described to have "something undesirable" inside him (it's never explained what) and in the Posh Pizzeria group he is the only one to have a liability risk at times - in UCN he's the only one of the posh pizzeria that can and will kill you. Also, weirdly enough, in UCN he's the only animatronic other than the original Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy to use the FNAF 1 scream. Despite being called Music Man, his gimmick in UCN is that he hates noise and you need to keep it down for him to not kill you - music also counts as noise for him.

He's voiced by Matthew Curtis, who also voices nightmare Balloon Boy, here are his lines for UCN!

DJ MUSIC MAN (Security Breach)

DJ Music Man! (Always abbreviated to DJMM in-game)

If MM is built like a creeper then DJ is built like a pig - he's Horizontal and looks more spider-y

There's even less info on him, but here goes:

He's a party host who makes up all of his music on the spot, but in between sessions he cleans around the Plex! The reason why he goes nuts and tries to kill Gregory is that he has an experimental but prohibited bouncer mode that was turned on, which is why he's chill afterwards. He also doesn't speak, unlike Music Man.

BONUS: WINDUP MUSIC MAN (Security Breach)

Windup Music Man!

Designwise they're almost identical to MM, but they look like they got microwaved and scraped across asphalt at mach 10. And also got a windup key stuck in their back. And TINY

Ingame they're described to be a prototype of Music Man that escaped the little museum part of the Plex, and that's all we really know. Other than that, their dynamic together is kind of comparable to a bunch of ants working together. They also JUMP and can be seen conversing/playing together.

ALSO: Those cymbals are not legs, they just have a really weird stance similar to actual tarantulas.

There's technically 394 Windup Music Men because the game randomly generates them from a collection of fucked up parts.

Also, he can open his mouth 120º degrees.

Hi! I've never run a poll blog before, but I like the "do you know this character" type blogs and I searched and didn't find one for ADHD characters so I decided I'd make one!

Submission Guidelines

Both canon and non-canon ADHD characters are allowed, but YOU MUST PROVIDE EVIDENCE FOR NON-CANON ADHD CHARACTERS! I completely understand just looking at a character and going "oh they have the Vibes" but it's not enough to be posted on this blog. Even just "they exhibit a lot of impulsiveness and distractability" is enough for me to go on - just give me SOMETHING to work with. However I reserve the right to not post a character if I don't think the evidence is compelling enough, i.e., if you don't list any traits that are specific to ADHD.

YOU MUST SUBMIT THROUGH THE FORM, NOT MY ASKBOX. I am, of course, ADHD myself, and I need all the submissions in one place or I'll lose them.

About the Mod/Blog

TRYING not to reveal my main yet, but you can call me Mudkip if you'd like. She/her only please, do not use any other pronouns for me including they/them. I am an adult. I was diagnosed with ADHD at a very young age and have it bad enough that I consider myself disabled. So ADHD rep is very important to me! And I'd like to both learn about ADHD rep I might not have heard of, and spread awareness of what ADHD people are like through the characters that people might not even realize are like us.

My icon is the character 707/Seven from Mystic Messenger, I chose him because although it's a bit hidden he is canonically ADHD! There's a call where he talks about how he talks to himself, and if you say "I heard people with adhd talk to themselves a lot..." he agrees with you, as well as displaying other ADHD traits through the whole game.

...is this entire blog partially part of my agenda to spread the word of canon ADHD Seven? Maybe.

Header is Zack Fair from Final Fantasy VII; he's not canonically ADHD but there's strong evidence for it and I couldn't resist using the "Me? Gongaga." meme.

i was thinking... what type of sneezes would the animatronics have at the mega pizza plex? like a dad sneeze... a bunch of small sneezes... a few big sneezes... or the sneezes that show up only to fade slowly and show up like 5 seconds later with force?

OH OKAY I HAVE NEVER THOUGHT OF THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HERE ARE MY HEADCANONS:

Freddy has the dad sneeze. Brace yourself, because holy SHIT if you do not I am so sorry whatever drink you had in your hand is now ALL over the floor. What makes it so scary is that his build-up is silent. Unless you were looking at him you would have no idea.

Roxy has the quintessential dog sneeze. The WINDUP. She scrunches her face and BRACES for impact. She has hit her snout on tables MANY times. Yes you can confuse her out of a sneeze. No she will not purposefully sneeze on you.

Monty basically YELLS when he sneezes. He does the "ah-aH-AH-!" right before sneezing and he WILL actually say "achoo." He will also sneeze at least 5 times in a row. His record is 15. Sometimes smoke comes out of him during it.

Chica sneezes fast and multiple times. Definitely not as many as Monty, but like usually at least 3. There is literally no windup. She is fine and then SUDDENLY will sneeze 3 times in a row no breaks just SNEEZE SNEEZE SNEEZE. They kind of sound like clucks. Her teeth chatter a for a second after, no idea why. Staff thinks the sneeze just feels weird through her beak.

DJ Music Man you would THINK has a really loud, powerful sneeze, but on the contrary. It is kinda loud, but other than that usually if someone has not heard him sneeze before and are not looking at him, they have no idea what happened. Tiny bit of windup, but usually kind of sudden. He will sneeze just once and seems a little embarrassed for a moment afterwards.

Sundrop's is VERY dramatic, VERY loud and he WILL jump when sneezing. When building up his rays incrementally go into his head before popping out to their full potential once he sneezes. No he cannot actually sneeze.

Moondrop will rarely sneeze, but if he does, it is usually just a toned down version of Sun's. His head will slowly move up before SLAMMING down. He likes to sneeze on people. He also cannot actually sneeze.

Semi-sequel to a pic I made during my very first HelloPaint session on the FNAF board. Music is better at DDR than DJ is.

Chibi Music!! (In my head this is a chibi-fied OG Music Man, not a windup/Lil' MM, but eh, that's probably a fairly trivial difference based on looks alone.) I want to do a better version of this and make it into a keychain or sticker...but my partners don't think the lips are a good idea. xD;;

I put Mxes' AI into the FazWatch so we could communicate without the mask and he could leave the 'Plex. It uh...had some unintended results. (Sidenote we need to make more use of the fact that Mxes can cannonically appear at different sizes.)

Sun and Moon!! I'm super pleased with how these turned out. I've only drawn Sun and Moon once in HelloPaint before and they were quick meme-y drawings. Usually I have to redraw their faces a billion times to get something I'm even close to satisfied with, but these came out fine the first try with only minor tweaks! Yey for improvement!!

Yes I keep making this joke and now I finally drew it. I've wanted to draw something like this basically since HW2 was announced but seeing DJ with the white eyes in the trailer pushed me to finally do it.

I’d love to hear some of your headcanons for him!

I personally have stolen a headcanon from NTLS that Music Man is trans-fem and uses she/her pronouns-

But I’d love to think of what you think of Music Man! What’s his personality like? What would he think of his prototypes?? (The windups) Does he think they’re cute? Or just weird because they are little versions of him??

What kind of performances do you think he does?

I like to think he sings a lot, based off of how MicTheMatt has a bunch of videos with Music Man singing covers of songs tee hee 😁😁💖

So 👏MY MUSIC MAN👏:

He/him, sees himself as better than other animatronics actually, and hes honestly sometimes a tiny bit annoying if his talent and/or shows are bashed or criticized. He takes tons of pride in his songs because that IS his main gig! He always loves meeting the occasional patron that finds his multi-toned voice appealing too! Anyone that complains, sometimes children depending, inwardly clip his straws.

His arrogance isnt always super out there, but it can show when he's around anyone that he may see as better than himself. Any animatronic mutual that garners more attention than he does. Despite this, he's not much of a fighter.

He's super kind and gentle to those that sincerely enjoy him though. Besides his singing, he may perform small dances and jigs, usually involving his legs moving his body around and his arms moving in different patterns. Also, a few times, he has sung songs to lull children to sleep if they seem cranky due to being tired. (A good few of the MicTheMatt vids are good ones he sings to them! Hush a Bye Mountain, We're Walking in the Air, and Pure Imagination are good for restless children!)

As for the mini music men, he...he's slowly but surely liking them.

The Founding of Serendipolis

The very first tri-species society was founded on a truce to kill this one zebraman who managed to piss off all of the villages in his vicinity in ONE afternoon

As legend goes, there was a Zebraman named "Serendipus" (english translation, his name becomes the homo mousike word for "serendipity" much like how Narcissus became "narcissist") whose story can be summed up as "if the protagonists in an action movie's chase scene got consequences." He made his fatal mistake stealing from a lone zebraelf, and when he was confronted, he kicked the zebraelf and ran.

Of course, with the zebraelves' community, that one zebraelf came for him with reinforcements, and while fleeing, Serendipus wreaked havoc and destruction in his path while he ran through his village - trampling everyone's crops, destroying random booths, and knocking over Cloe aviaries in the hopes of stopping the relentless zebraelves after him.

He found himself at the outskirts of his village and ran for shelter in a Debu cave... in the middle of a funeral. If screaming at the deceased's corpse wasn't disrespectful enough, knocking over a pot of oil and starting a fire when Serendipus was fleeing sure was!

With nowhere else to go, Serendipus tried going home now that he had evaded the Zebraelves, but his fellow zebramen didn't want him back either, for obvious reasons - So the exiled Serendipus had to take to the wilderness on his own. But the zebraelves and debu hadn't gotten payment for their grievances, and neither did any of the zebramen who were in Serendipus's path of destruction.

The 3 neighboring species overcame language barriers, prejudices, and even past grudges all for the sake of finding and KILLING serendipus together, tracking him down like bloodhounds on a scent and turning him into red mist when they found him.

Though, after that experience, the truce never... ended. Interspecies bonds had been made between the new generations and after a few years, the three neighboring societies merged into one, becoming the wealthiest city in all of their times.

At the very center of this city, there is this circular relief carved of Serendipus with his everything broken after they finally found the fucker much that is much the Coyolxauhqui stone. Despite their mutual hatred, they do admit they never would've gotten together if it weren't for his negligence, and quite frankly, they all could admit he was fun to disembowel.

Lingering in Remnants

Race Cars: Nene would be seen behind the other cars to represent her holding herself back even though she would be in the fastest car. An wouldn't be driving as she's confident that her dream will someday come true. Miku would be the person starting the race between all of them. Shiho and Akito would be seen near the front trying their best to win the race

Astral☆Imagery

Dragon's Hoard: A large cave filled with all sorts of golden treasures. Emu and Saki are the pretty gems in the treasure room that are always being protected by other people even if they may not need it. Miku is the actual dragon protecting them all. Airi would also be a gem, but unlike Emu and Saki, she would be trying to escape the hoard to be on her own. Mizuki is partially a dragon due to wanting to protect their secret

Chronic/Ally

Broken Reflections: Hallways or rooms filled with broken, tv/computer screens and mirrors. The difference between Kanade and Touya to Haruka and Honami is that the first two are a bit more honest with themselves. Kanade's mirrors are reflecting empty music sheets because she knows she hasn't been able to save anyone yet while the instruments in Touya's taunt him for what he's trying to give up. Meanwhile, Honami and Haruka reflect the places they wish they could still be deep inside; on stage and with friends. Miku is trapped inside one of the pieces as she looks on at them

Euphoric Echoes

A Tea Party: The images would be taken from different angles around a table and everything would look all cute and happy on the surface but it's the little details for this set. Like maybe the teapot Shizuku is pouring is filled with blood and the dolls next to Mafuyu are tied to the chairs. Miku is a windup doll, but the key to get her going is on the table instead and she's frozen. The plates next to Ichika are filled ands she's talking but there's no one there and Tsukasa is surrounded by fog but if you look closely it's a bit thicker than normal and their are plushie limbs sticking out

Playhouse Collective

Cursed Objects: Ena would be seen painting with a suspiciously red paint, like the Anguished Man, as she gives everything to her art. Kohane would be a photographer for the cursed objects and not necessarily connected to one herself. Miku would be a bit mummified to represent the Iceman and Minori would be struggling against the hope diamond to represent all her bad luck

Well, I can never pick a favorite anything (besides maybe animals and colors), so I'll just go on a whim with my choices mostly, listing what I like most at the moment, more or less.

Favorite movie: I really struggled to come up with anything, but after scraping my memory for anything my brain came up with "What We Do in The Shadows" (yes, the movie, I have yet to watch the show), my mom also really loved it after my recommendation, so it has a special place in my heart.

Favorite character: right now it's definitely Crowley (duh) from Good Omens, but it's also Reigen and Serizawa from Mob Psycho 100, Abe from Big Windup, Annie and Owen from Maniac (the short netflix series), and. And. There's probably so much more, but my mind comes out blank, so let's leave it as it is.

Favorite animal: SHARKS BABEEYYYY! I also like cats a lot. And CROWS, duh [x2]

Favorite drink: Coffee probably? But only with milk and something sweet. I also like Schweppes (not sponsored).

Favorite season: Summer, late spring and very early fall, because my depression gets worse with shorter days and less sunlight.

Favorite book: OOOOOF, I feel like I haven't read enough books to properly choose, but. Let's say "Good Omens" for now.

Favorite color: teal, pink (the kinds that are warm and orange-ish) and black (blueish black especially). Look at them.... beautiful. I also love combinations of blue+yellow and blue+orange.

Favorite hobby: Well, right now I'm pursuing (trying to pursue) an art career, so I don't think drawing counts as hobby anymore. I guess I enjoy playing video games? I like singing. I'm getting back into writing fanfiction, so that should also count?

Prologue-Music Box of Recollection; Scene 4

Original Sin Story: Punishment, pages 17-26

Late into the night, when the moon began to rule the sky in stead of the sun--

Nyoze stood alone at the place where the castle had once been.

In his hand he gripped the black music box that the man had given to him.

The thing that Alicegrad had been guarding…That was what the man had said.

Nyoze guessed that he’d been referring to where the queen lived, the “LeviaBehemo temple”.

That was what the castle had originally been built to protect, if you looked back at the history.

But that temple had vanished from the ground world now.

There was nothing there—not even any dead bodies.

Compared to the other buildings that castle should have been the strongest above all.

That destructive light had been enough to completely wipe it out.

So, doesn’t…look like there’s much chance of me finding any clues…

He could just cast away what that man had said as the ramblings of a madman.

But at present it seemed that Nyoze had nothing left he could turn to except this music box.

He took out the windup key, and, steeling himself, put it into the music box.

Then he slowly wound the spring.

Lu li la.

Lu li la.

.

Eventually music began to play from the music box.

It was a different tune from the one that he’d heard that day.

Its stiff tone etched out a melody that felt somewhat strained.

I wonder…what sort of title this piece has.

As he pondered this, Nyoze waited for something to occur next.

“…”

There was no change.

The song merely continued to play through the dusk.

A melody that only Nyoze was listening to.

…Heheh, that’s right. That man directed me to listen to this music box here…But I guess he didn’t say anything about something occurring as a result of that.

It wasn’t that he’d been lied to.

He’d just made an incorrect assumption all on his own.

He decided to begin his search again once the sun had come back up. If he could collaborate with the other soldiers of the cavalry unit he might very well be able to find something--

It happened right as Nyoze started to move to turn back.

“—Another castaway of time.”

A woman’s voice.

He couldn’t be sure of where he was hearing it from.

It could be a shout from far away, a whisper in his ear, or even music resounding inside Nyoze’s mind.

This voice without a gauge for its distance murmured once more:

“Welcome, to this happy country.”

In that moment, the scenery around him transformed.

Nyoze was encircled by countless small lights.

Are these…horses? …No. They’re not real horses.

These wooden horses ran, entwined with lights.

They were endlessly circling around the same spot.

Above his head he could hear what sounded like gears turning.

When he looked up he could see an enormous windmill with a box suspended at its top, slowly rotating as it made that noise.

A world of varying things going around and around.

And at some point, Nyoze found himself lost in the center of it all.

“My my, how sad…You’re bound in chains.”

Again, there was that woman’s voice.

Nyoze shouted, in defiance to her, “I am not bound by anything! Who are you!? Show yourself!”

“Show myself? …Such a thing accomplishes no meaning here. Still…if you wish.”

From within the darkness appeared a single woman, both of her arms bound in shackles.

--Or rather, perhaps the woman’s form took shape in a space where before there had been nothing.

At any rate, it seemed this was the owner of the voice.

“Now then, castaway. What do you wish for?” the eerily white-skinned woman asked Nyoze. “Destruction…Rebirth…Or maybe the path to Angolmois?”

“I…just want to know the truth! I want to know the reason that the Magic Kingdom Levianta was brought to ruin!”

“The ‘wrath of the gods’ that was to come one day arrived…That’s all it was.”

“But the time of the ‘Gear of Twilight’ hadn’t arrived yet! The catastrophe occurred much sooner than the queen predicted! Why was that!?”

“Sigh…What a waste of time. Such a thing is little more than a tiny discrepancy.” The woman shook her head, as though disappointed. “If you came here for such a trivial thing as that, then there is nothing to be done with you.”

“W…Wait just a second! It might seem that way to you, but to me it is crucially important!”

The woman glared down at Nyoze with an imperious bearing.

“Then you should ask someone else. Another castaway here.”

“That—"

“He shall appear here before long. Enjoy your conversation with your brother.”

“…My older brother Gammon is here!?”

“That was his name, was it? Not that names have any real meaning here.”

“…You still haven’t answered my first question. Who…are you? Your name—"

“I’m quite sure you just heard that names have no meaning here. Still…if you desire, you shall have a temporary name to use.”

“…”

“We are Madam Merry-Go-Round.”

Merry-Go-Round…It was the family name that the successive generations of queens went by; or to put it conversely, it was a name that no one outside of the queens were allowed to use.

Before Nyoze could ask her if she was a relative of the queen, her figure disappeared, as though melting into the darkness.

Simultaneously, all of the lights around him also vanished. Nyoze was shut up in total darkness.

“…”

He could do nothing but wait. She had told him that Gammon would eventually come here. He had no choice but to believe in her words.

…Finally, with the clack of footsteps a human being tinged with a faint light approached him.

“—Gammon.”

It was none other than Gammon, Nyoze’s older brother.

And yet, this reunion was not necessarily a happy one for Nyoze.

“I…suppose I can’t rejoice that you’re alright.”

There was a plain and obvious reason why Nyoze would say that to him.

His older brother shouldn’t have been that much removed from him in age.

The last time they’d seen each other, before he’d left the country…Gammon’s face had been lined with deep wrinkles, and there had been white growing into his hair. Proof that his long years of hard work was beginning to show an effect on him.

Yet the Gammon that stood before him now looked much younger than his true age, as though he were a youth just barely into his twenties.

His brother was no longer a human of this world—that was something Nyoze understood the moment he laid eyes upon him.

“Nyoze…So, you did come here after all.”

“You don’t sound very welcoming.”

“That’s not true. I’m very happy I got to see you again. But at the same time…this means that you too have become a ‘Castaway of Time’.”

“The woman from before said that too. What is she? And what is this place—"

“Madam Merry-Go-Round. I myself can’t completely explain what she is. She is a manager of time, an amalgamation of the generations of queens, an Irregular…Something along those lines.”

That had been a barrage of phrases that Nyoze couldn’t understand the meaning of, but even so he could make some conjecture from it.

“Are we…inside the LeviaBehemo Temple?”

“We are. Rightly speaking, only candidates for queen are allowed to enter here. Though the temple is no longer standing, the space inside it continues to remain like this. This is a threshold of time where not even gods can interfere.”

“That’s curious. That there should be a space inside a temple that venerating the gods that the gods aren’t able to interact with.”

“The gods aren’t omnipotent. Just as a child isn’t a perfect puppet of their parents neither can the gods completely take hold of humanity’s deeds.”

But the gods really had brought their country to destruction, by their own hand.

Humans were powerless before the will of the gods, were they not?

“Gammon, what I want to learn is…Why did the gods destroy our country, in the end? Do you know the answer to that?”

“You’re a bit mistaken in your premise, Nyoze.”

“…?”

“The ones that created the source of our country’s downfall—were people. Yes, what we truly ought to fear is humanity…the desire that lurks in human hearts.”

“I don’t understand…I don’t get it. People witnessed the dragon god destroying our country. Yet you say the catastrophe was the work of humanity?”

“You’re smart, so I’m sure you’ve already noticed several things that are unnatural about the catastrophe, haven’t you? The senate was in the process of achieving the gods’ demands.”

“…The new queen had already become pregnant with the ‘Twins of God’. We just had to wait for her to safely give birth to them.” Then those twins would become the avatars of the gods…And through their power, the world would be saved. “And yet...Why did the gods not wait for the ‘Gear of Twilight’? There was still time left before the prophesized deadline.”

“Desire. As a result of two desires joining together, the catastrophe came much sooner than planned…Though it was brought about in a different fashion than someone anticipated.”

“Please be more specific.”

“Don’t be so hasty. I’ll need to go through this step by step. If I don’t…You won’t be able to leave this space again.”

“What?”

“Madam Merry-Go-Round is a ruthless woman. She has a policy that those who come are welcome, and those who leave are not regretted…But she is not so kind as to pave the way for you herself.” Gammon pointed to the music box that Nyoze was holding. “You came here by way of the ‘Clockwork Lullaby’ playing from that box. But that song is a one-way passage. I fear you can’t escape from here just by playing it again.”

“…Did that man set me up?”

“Well, who knows? I can guess who it was who gave that to you, but he wasn’t insane yet when I had met with him.”

“Is he an acquaintance of yours, Gammon? That man.”

“…? I’m sure that you must have recognized him too…? Ah well, let’s save that for later. If we don’t go through this according to the gears of time, the door to escape won’t open. Without a key, you have no other method available to you.”

He still couldn’t grasp anything of what he was saying, but Nyoze at the very least understood that he had no choice but to do as Gammon told him.

Several small lights began to float up from the darkness around Gammon.

When he looked more closely, he could see that they were all in the shape of gears.

These various gears of light, both large and small, began to turn in the space around him.

Gammon took one of the gears in hand.

“This, Nyoze, is a gear of your memory. Let’s start from here first…From that day that served as the catalyst for that ugly, mutual slaughter.”

Gammon let go of the gear, and it once more floated into the air.

Its light grew stronger, until it had driven away all of the darkness in their surroundings.

“This is…”

A familiar scene had burst into Nyoze’s field of vision.

The reception hall of Alicegrad castle.

The grave solemnity it had in the old days, before the catastrophe had occurred--
