after 3 centuries i finally managed to properly redesign my dumbass sona, i was gonna initially just change their hair for a more androgynous look but then i. changed their lore a bit too

basically they volunteer for various jobs like delivering mail and milk, nursing and gardening (even though that's also their hobby)

no one knows their gender or their real name but they go by various plant/nature related names (like willow or sunflower)

Cover art I did for the recent Morro Winds-of-Change Zine!!! Small essay and link to the zine undercut vvv

Many of the writing and art styles were amazing to watch overtime while this zine was in production. The stylization of how a character is depicted can really show the inner thoughts and workings of how a character such as Morro can be portrayed in the eyes of another.

It was super fun to work on and fans coming together to make a collaboration on one of their favorite characters really shows how much love can be in the Ninjago community despite the rough patches we’ve been through over time. Hopefully with enough support (like we’ve already gotten!) a second zine could happen in the future.
