i have to keep a rubber band or rock or pen of some kind with me at all times to fidget with! i like playing with the pen cap best. it's not as loud and clicky as those pens with the springs, so i don't bother anyone when i toy with it.

i've been compulsively re-reading Interview with the Vampire, super engrossed with it at the moment.

the perfume oil is called 'Siren'. it has notes of sage, seaweed, patchouli, ginger lily, and lime. it's sort of brine-y and flowery at the same time, and super refreshing. definitely earned its name :D

i don't always carry around my old camera, but lately i have been. here's some pics of my bag that i took with it, so my phone could show up (since that's probably the thing i most consistently carry with me). it's a Lumix model DMC-FH20. i think it photographs a bit fuzzier; in general, i've found it doesn't perform very well indoors, and it creates a subtle fish eye effect (more noticeable in the first pic), but the colors are way better than my phone camera. feels more true to the what i see in person.

In part depends on what I’m doing that day, plus I like big bags and fill them to the brim (unfortunately for my back). I always carry something to read, my toiletry bag and something to write! Then usually something to drink, a snack, an umbrella/pullover…
