What if Ghaae got the same curse as Wolf?

Rae, Caspian, and Aax were on a date. They had decided to go to the bench where they asked out Aax. The day was going well until Rae saw a weird aura. Mentioning it to his partners the three of them went to investigate the aura. It led into a cave.

“There is a not-cave down there,” Aax helpfully noted

“A not-cave?” Caspian asked

“Yeah, a not-cave! it could be a library or glitched thing! Right Rae?”

“Maybe but the aura isn’t gray so not a library…”

Just then the thruple entered the not-cave as Aax put it a large room with green concrete powder and amethyst detailing and on a pillar in the center there was a swirling crystal ball

“Ok, this is weird…” Caspian said looking about the room

“Yeah is that the aura thing?” Aax asked pointing at the ball

“Yes, the aura is coming from that ball…” Rae said as he recharged out and touched it

As Rae touched the crystal ball the amethyst glowed and the green concrete powder raping around the lovers involving them in light

Rae awoke everything kind of hurt. He began to try and stand up, but quickly found that difficult as his body had changed, looking down, he realized with horror he had turned into a cat. He had small little black paws, and a black tail. he then heard a noise coming about a few blocks to his left. pushing through the brush he spotted a large perhaps it was an average-sized wolf, Rae was very small. it was a brown wolf with a gray streak, running down its snout. Its red eyes turned to Rae, and he recognized Caspian.

“Cas?” Rae tried to speak, but all that came out was a “Merrow?”

The two stared at each other for a moment before a “niyip” came from the pond next to them. Looking over the two of them spotted a white olm with red dots where the eyes should be, and cyan and red fins and tail.

Looking at the side of his two partners, Rae felt awful. Why had he touched that stupid crystal that was so dumb now both of his partners were paying for it he was the worst boyfriend ever! Despite the three of them being animals, Caspian and Aax could instantly identify that Ray was beginning to spiral.

Caspian nervously picked up Rae by the scruff and put them closer to Aax who reached out from the pond and grabbed one of Ray’s paws. Caspian, then just carefully put his nose on Rae’s back and guided him to lie down. the two stayed there until Rae was calm.

Standing up Rae began to make a list in his head, first they needed to make sure that they could travel with Aax safely, then they needed to get back to town, then they need to find Jamie or someone (maybe Wolf) who could understand them, and figure out how to turn them back into humans.

Moving Aax, the first thing that came to Rae’s mind was a bucket, but where was he to get a bucket he couldn’t make one he was a cat! Taking note of his surroundings Rae noted the taller oak trees, perhaps he could climb on, and if he was lucky, he might spot a village. Rae walked over to the base of the trees, put his paws up, and begin to attempt to climb. He had seen Athena‘s cats attempt this multiple times. However, watching one of Athena‘s many cats climb a tree, and actually being the cat climbing a tree was very different. Caspian stood at the base of the tree ready to catch Rae if he was to fall. it took a minute, but eventually, Ray was high up in the tree and began to look around.

It seemed Casus was on their side there was a village! Slowly climbing down, Ray walked over to Aax and gave him a gentle rub on his head. He then turned to Caspian and motioned for him to follow with his head. the two of them walked the distance to the village, and Rae began to look around for a blacksmith hoping to get lucky once again. Caspian followed a short distance behind, keeping a lookout for any trouble.

Rae had just spotted a blacksmith and suddenly a calico cat jumped out of nowhere and began to hiss and swipe its claws at him. Before the cat could actually harm him. However, Caspian came over and growled at it viciously. The cat scared of the large wolf scampered off. Caspian then turned to Rae and nestled him with his nose. ray ingratitude decided to give Caspian the closest thing to kiss on the nose. The rough tongue spooked the former adventurer now a wolf, and Rae was worried that he had overstepped or made Caspian comfortable. Caspian dismissed those thoughts with a lick to his cheek.

The two stood for a moment before they began to laugh, or at least the equivalent of a laugh. Before they straightened up and began the heist for a bucket. It was easy enough to sneak into the blacksmith’s house, he had left the door open as he worked at the forge very loudly. looking about Rae spotted a bucket. Creeping closer to it. Inspected it. It was definitely big enough to hold Aax in their current form, it even had a handle. He remembered his first cat Bucket, and how he used to knock over buckets on himself and slide them all over the floor. taking a page out of his old cat’s book Rae flipped the bucket onto himself.

He carefully began slide the bucket out of the forge however, he was a half a block away when the blacksmith noticed him.

“hey there little fella where do you think you’re going?” the blacksmith said as he began to try and pick up the bucket. Rae sprinted forward and tripped over the bucket. However, before he could fall far, Caspian caught the handle of the bucket in his mouth and sprinted back into the forest towards Aax.

It took the two of them a little bit to find the pond, neither of them are good with directions. But eventually, Caspian arrived at the pond, carrying Ray in a bucket.

Aax was overjoyed that his two partners had returned with a bucket that he could ride in, and swim up to the bank. letting out a “niyip” they patiently waited for Rae to get out of the bucket, one tray left the bucket, and Caspian lowered it into the water, where Aax climbed in.

Step to get back to the others. This one would prove to be a bit more difficult, considering Aax was the best at directions, but that was only in caves, none of them knew where in the world they were, and despite Caspian being an adventurer Luce called him lost one for a reason. Even if they did have their communicators, none of them knew how to do coordinates. The last time Rae had been allowed to do coordinates, they went 10,000 blocks in the wrong direction!

Caspian, seeing Rae’s, worry and confusion, decided to do his tried and true method pick a direction, and go.

The throuple traveled on for a lot of days, finding food wherever they can. Whenever they came to a brook or stream, the three of them would stop. Putting Aax into it the water Rae and Aax would hunt for fish. Meanwhile, Caspian will take this time to once again scout for even more food and then usually stay by these places a little longer. when night came the three of them would snuggle close together. However, on those late nights, Rae was often worried for the safety of himself and his partners. One night Ray focused really hard, concentrating on keeping them safe and the bubble appeared.

Rae continued to summon the bubble every night. It becoming a tradition. The skill proved to be very useful as he could summon the bubble at will getting the three of them out of a few scrapes.

The journey continued onward. Sometimes Rae worried that if they had gone the other direction, they would’ve been right at home. However, he knows he can’t think like that they just have to keep going. They’ll get home eventually they have to.

Eventually, they come to a shoreline. the three of them are stumped for quite a while on where to go. then Ray finds an old log. It’s all on the inside, but most of it is still intact enough to be a boat. And it could fit Rae and Caspian in their current forms.

Rae brings Caspian over to the log. The two of them began to push it toward the sea. Then they dump Aax into the ocean. The two of them hop onto the boat and set sail. Aax makes sure to provide them with fish, chasing up schools towards the boat which Rae and Caspian catch and eat. Still, every night Aax swims close to the boat, Rae summons the bubble, and the three of them sit in the water.

One night as the lovers slept inside the bubble the world changed. In the morning Rae touched the bubble. Instantly Ghaae, as the wind and auras named them, noticed that they were only 20 blocks to the shore.

Abandoning the log that had been their ship for the journey, Rae and Caspian swam to shore as Aax swam around them.

When the throuple arrived at the shore Caspian placed the bucket back in the water so Aax could climb into it. As his boyfriends were preparing for the land part of the journey Rae decided to use a bush to dry off. He now understood why cats hated getting wet. It was a nightmare to dry off!

Once Caspian was confident that Aax was comfortable he looked over to Rae… Who had gotten stuck in a bush? Caspian walked over to the bush and looked down at his boyfriend.

“Mrraw” Rae mued in embarrassment. Caspian and Aax laughed at their boyfriend who was now tangled in the branches. “Rraww” Rae began to hiss in frustration. He was stuck and Caspian was just laughing with Aax. Can they please laugh after they get him out!

“What is going on here?” A familiar voice called out. But a short distance away Will looked at his friends-turned-animals although he was wearing his mask Rae and Caspian could tell he was smiling.

“Will! Help I’m stuck!” Rae tried to call out but it came out as “Mrraw! Maw mu raww!”

Walking over Will looked down at Rae, “Oh you poor little thing! Are you stuck?” Rae just gave him a look, “okay fair,” Will giggled. Will carefully removed Rae from the bush.

As Will set the odd cat on the sand, he turned to the wolf that had been the one to alert him to the cat, it was a smaller-than-average wolf with brown fur and a gray streak from its snout to the right ear. The cat had equally unique markings it was a black cat with one blue eye and one green, around the green eye the cat’s fur was a dark purple.

Even stranger was the bucket. A simple iron bucket that one could easily find in a village, complete with a villager-style handle. Now that the cat was free the wolf was liking its cheek. Suddenly a “niyip!” Came from the bucket and an axolotl jumped up the cat not missing a beat turned to the bucket and gently bumped heads with the axolotl. Will couldn’t help but feel an intruder. It was familiar for a moment like he had been here before with friends.

The axolotl was white with cyan fins that turned red at the tips, looking a little closer Will released it didn’t have eyes if it did they were smaller than the average axolotl, and it was also longer than other axolotls. But where the eyes would be it had two bright red spots. Maybe the woman he had met in the last town would know happening with the axolotl, she was part fish.

As Will mussed the animals had turned their attention to him. “Oh, umm do you want me to take you to the nearest town?” He asked the animals as if they could understand him. However, to his surprise, they nodded their heads.

“Okay umm, so I’m just going to pick you up mister axolotl.” Will carefully picked up the bucket. The town wasn’t that far he had awoken there without any of his gear just a day ago.

“It will take a day to get there, it was very weird we just all woke up there together, the only ones who had any idea what was going on were those two ladies. The fish lady and the plant lady. There were a lot of us, according to the ladies we were having a funeral when we were attacked and the world ‘reset’. My question is how did we forget, and who were we morning?” As he rambled the animals were paying close attention to him. Especially the cat.

As the evening crept up and Will stopped for the night, “We’ll be in town soon, but we should stop for the night.” The animals seemed unbothered by this. Will set the axolotl down and settled under a tree. The wolf picked up the axolotl and placed it closer to Will then the three of them cuddled together with Will at their side. Before Will could comment on it the cat stuck its head up and growled. Suddenly a bedrock bubble appeared around them.

“Oh, okay you can do that… cool, cool!” Will stammered in shock. The bubble stayed there until the morning. The cat bat it with his paw and then it disappeared.

Will led Rae and Caspian to the town, he didn’t talk much that day. But he still held Aax.

Rae knew that he needed to find Ocie she was their best chance to get back to normal. But she might not recognize them anymore. However, she and Mombo were the only ones who remembered them. Rae had been right, Mombo had remembered on the first day. Centross had also been correct the bubble kept their memories intact!

Coming into town Rae was nostalgic. The area looked more like the first world Rae remembered. Caspian seemed to agree as he looked about.

“Oh, Will your back I thought you were going to skip town.” Once again Casus was on their side, as Ocie called out to Will.

With Ocie were Jamie, Mombo, Athena, and Easton who was wearing glasses but otherwise fine.

“Well I was out there and found these little guys, they are very friendly and a little odd. I thought you could tell what is up with them. Especially the axolotl,” Will lifted the bucket up.

“I think it’s an olm,” Jamie pointed out, “odd color though”

“An… olm?” Ocie asked curiously and then looked at Rae and Caspian. “AAX!? RAE!?”

“CASPIAN?!” Mombo gently grabbed the sides of his face.

Ocie had grabbed Aax from Will and was looking down at him. Turning to Rae Ocie spoke with pledging eyes, “You remember right?”

“Mau” Rae responded

“Whoa, I can’t understand him!” Jamie said trying to translate the lovers.

“You can’t?” Mombo asked curiously.

“UUUGHG! Of course, the three who could have any idea on how to fix this can’t!” Ocie groaned in frustration.

“What do you mean Ocie?” Mombo asked her sister.

“Wolf and Centross don’t remember and Rae is a cat,” Ocie explained.

“How do Wolf and Centross know what to do?” Easton asked.

“Wolf was a wolf until he was not and Rae and Centross were the first to meet him.” Ocie sighed, “but I don’t know much about that time the only ones who were there were Rae Centross and Wolf.”

“So we have three people who have been turned into animals and we have no way to communicate.” Jamie clarified the situation.

“Maybe we can try and jog Wolf and Centross’s memories!” Athena suggested.

The land and sea gave each other a look. Wolf’s memories would be fine but Centross’s were a whole can of worms. Rae understood their concerns. However, sherbet only began to heal after they remembered.

“Hay everyone!” Wolf said walking up to the group, “what’s going on?”

“Long story…” Ocie began,

“Will found these three animals on his adventure and brought them to town when he introduced them to Ocie and Mombo they knew them. Because they aren’t actually animals but people who were turned into animals and Jamie can’t understand them.” Athena speedran the explanation.

“Okay, that’s a lot…” Wolf replied after a moment. “I came to tell you that I remembered something. Someone called Star saved me.”

“Then maybe this Star can help!” Will said hopefully.

Rae shook his head.

“Why not?” Mombo wondered

Rae pointed to himself.

“You're the reason Star can’t help?” Athena asked.

“No, I think he is Star,” Easton answered.

Rae nodded at Easton.

“Great we are back to square one!” Ocie complained.

Rae hung his head. Caspian came over and pressed his head to Rae making a makeshift hug. Aax yipped from the bucket in Ocie’s arms.

Lowering down to Rae, Ocie placed Aax beside him. Ocie then spoke in a soft tone, “It’s not your fault Rae, you didn’t turn yourself Aax and Caspian into animals! It’s confusing but we will figure it out together! Pinky promise?”

“Mow” and Rae put his paw to Ocie’s outstretched finger.

Like water washing away the sand from the shore, Rae shifted. Green powder fell off and Rae and Ocie were face to face.

“AAAA!” the two of them fell back in surprise. landing on their backs to of them just laugh.

“Fucking hell Rae!” Ocie laughed, “You can’t be normal!”

“No, I don’t think I can.” Rae laughed back.

It took a moment for the two of them to calm down. But eventually, they sat up.

Turning to his boyfriends Rae got an idea, “I have a dumb idea that might work.”

“Go for it! If a pinky promise makes you back to normal then I’m sure whatever you do will fix it.” Mombo reassured.

“Yeah,” Athena cheered. Wolf, Will, Jamie, and Easton watched closely.

Rae's hypothesis was that the key to the curse was an act of love. Whether its love was famille plutonic or romantic. When Wolf turned into a human Rae had been reading a love letter, Rae and Ocie are close good friends and the pinky promise was important to their friendship.

Grabbing the bucket he and Caspian stole from the village when they had first turned into animals, Rae carefully pulled Aax from the water and kissed him.

Like a nebula spreading through space, Aax shifted. Green powder fell off and Aax and Rae were in a passionate kiss.

Feeling left out Caspian but in. Rae and Aax broke apart and turned to their boyfriend. Smiling at him Aax bent down and kissed him as Rae gently grabbed Caspian’s paw.

Like a predator shaking off a kill, Caspian shifted. Green powder fell off and the three were in a tight embrace.

There was still a lot to get done but they were home they were safe.

They even found their pets, Atlas, Pickax, Cetus, and the rest of the Armory were found together in a cave. So Ghaae of course had to make the cave their home.
