I can imagine a scenario during the war where Wu, Acronix, and the previous EM of Ice are all meant to be the seers of the Elemental Alliance, and they're all huddled around a bunch of Spirit Smoke, trying to trigger any possible future outcomes/visions.

Soap gets loose in the Temple, Dooku and Sifo have to go find him (with the help of Temple guard?) Master Komari's first lesson with her Orange One?? The story behind the adorable domestic blorbos picture????
"Cin!," the door to Cin Drallig's office got thrown open and a face he hadn't seen in a while appeared. "I need you to lend me a Guard uniform! Now!," Sifo-Dyas informed him, storming towards him.
"Is this a vision thing again?" Cin took a step back from the Seer. "Because Yan said I shouldn't encourage those."
Sifo-Dyas actually managed to look indignant at that comment. "It is not a vision thing, I'll have you know. Not that it's any of Doo's business anyways."
Well then.
"So what is this about?," Cin looked at the older Jedi, quipping his brows, "I would like to have an actual reason for letting you dress up as one of my guys, Sifo."
"...Do you have to?"
"The way you ask that makes the answer a definite yes." Crossing his arms, Cin tilted his head. "So, out with it."
Sifo-Dyas looked conflicted with a good minute. Then, very faintly from down the corridor, a crash could be heard. Followed by some sort of claxon starting to blare. The way the Seer immediately turned and paled at that, immediately told Cin there was something going on here.
"Sifo," he asked, "What was that?"
"Uhh," the Seer's gaze was still fixed to the open door.
Patience. Patience was a virtue. "Lemme rephrase the question: Was that the reason why you are asking for a Guard uniform?"
"Uhhhhhh..."
Well, that answered that. "Why was that the reason you need a Guard uniform?"
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...!"
"Out with it, Dyas, or I'll toss you out." Not that he'd actually be able do that, Sifo-Dyas was a slippery as an eel when he wanted to be, but the threat was as good as a gesture as anything.
Luckily, the Seer cracked. Folding his hands in front of his face, he looked at Cin imploringly. "Please don't get mad," he said - and that was probably the worst way he could have started this negotiation, "But... remember that, uh, exotic animal in Yan's care that we should, technically, have relocated to another planet about a fortnight ago?"
Migraines. Migraines these idiots were causing him. Sorrows and migraines. Cin was going to go grey prematurely. "You mean the Serennian Force dragon??"
Sifo-Dyas made a pathetic little noise.
"That thing is barely fitting through the corridors anymore!!," Cin threw his arms out, "How-?!?"
Another crash, this time closer. Maybe there were some actual shouts now, too.
Sifo-Dyas in the meantime had returned to staring fixedly towards the direction of the clamor. A sudden calm seemed to have come over the man. "Do you think," his voice was all quiet and soft now, "It's already too late to discreetly get her back down to the lower levels without anyone noticing?" Then, he turned, looking at Cin like he was hoping for him to actually argue against that.
Cin wasn't going to.
Actually, Cin wasn't going to do anything anymore. Fuck this. He was gonna quit.
"Out." He said, pointing towards the door. "Out and get that Force-damned creature under control! Now."
"Soap isn't a crea-"
"I DON'T WANT TO KNOW ITS NAME! REMOVE IT FROM THE FUCKING TEMPLE ON THE FUCKING DENSELY POPULATED CITY PLANET!"

I wanna see someone doodle Raph helping Leo with the visions but I don't know how to draw
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well you've come to the right place!
I didn't intend for this to be a fully rendered piece but my day was weird and drawing angsty Leo cuddles seemed to help that lol
And yes, Donnie's on his way. He snuck out to the scrapyard while everyone was sleeping and may have lost track of time. Mikey has him on speaker it just doesn't seem to be helping much.
(if you're wondering why he's still glowing despite presumably having been woken up several minutes ago, well i had an idea. Basically it's that if a seer's vision (dream or meditation, however they're seeing them really) are interrupted, there's a chance that the mystics they're seeing the visions through, doesn't leave immediately upon waking up. (The less trained they are in this skill, the more likely it is to happen.) And fully conscious seers + uncontrollable future visions do not equal a good time. It might eventually fade back on it's own, but the only way to insure it goes is to have the other set of the pair physically present as a way to passively defuse that mystic energy. I also had the idea that Sooth Sayers are particularly susceptible to it and that it takes longer for them to shake since their visions are usually more mundane and are harder recognize/fight back against on their own. Basically, i wanted a mystic reason why it was so important for seers to not be separated. also some non-mental drawbacks to having those powers, b/c i love me a magic system with drawbacks. hope that makes any sort of sense!)
Thank you! and if you have a doodle request for one of my aus, feel free to drop it in the ask box! It probably won't be as finished as this (usually they're just sketches with some colored lines) but it does get done! (Just make sure it's clear you're asking for a doodle, otherwise i won't realize and there's a high probability i'll just start ranting in the text like an idiot lol)
Thanks again!

shamura post-narinder betrayal headcanons? a disability headcanon or two if you feel comfortable maybe. i may or may not have been projecting my own traumatic brain injury onto them oops
Oooh absolutely anon! I've had sooo many angsty thoughts about Shamura. If you have any thoughts of your own about them, I'd love to hear!!
- Their memory is very inconsistent. Some days they seem almost perfectly fine, the way they were before: clear headed and focused. Those days get more and more uncommon as time passes, and their condition varies wildly. Sometimes the brain fog gets so bad, they forget that Narinder was banished: imagine them wandering around aimlessly, calling his name, confused on why they can't find him. Going to each of their siblings, asking where in the world Nari has gotten off to
- At one point they let themselves into the underworld to search for him, thinking that perhaps Narinder had gotten himself wrapped up into another depthless research project and had simply lost track of time. It had happened before. So they went to see him and were horrified to find him in chains: rushing up to see him and asking, "Brother, what is this?! Who did this to you?! Are you alright?!" Already trying to break the chains but of course, they can't, as the chains are tied to the Bishops' life force.
- Kallamar had to cast a seal around the Temple of the Dead so Shamura couldn't get in anymore, after that. They essentially have to relive Narinder’s betrayal all over again as the younger ones told them the truth, and the sheer devastation wasn't something any of them wanted to go through again
- For awhile after their head injury, Shamura was mute. They used telepathy to communicate and preach their sermons. Speaking again took a good amount of practice, and they usually did so with Kallamar (because he's hard of hearing without his crown, it was the perfect set up to practice projection and volume)
- Shamura gets horrific splitting migraines, especially when it's time to change their bandages. Their eyes are sooo sensitive to light and the slightest sound causes awful tinnitus that they can't escape no matter how hard they try. The pain is so bad it's dizzying and disorienting, at which point they delegate the High Priest or Witness or someone else to conduct the daily sermons until they've recovered
- Their sense of taste is all messed up, and though they don't need to eat they used to really enjoy a nice hot cup of sweet camellia tea or sipping mortal blood from sacrifices, but now they just taste so wrong and different and gross. Leshy spent a few decades experimenting with growing new tea leaves to find one that tasted right to Shamura, and they're very grateful for it
- Shamura is a clairvoyant seer, but after their injury the visions slowed down, and became more fragmented. Or maybe they just can't recall all the details? It remains a mystery. They used to weave their prophecies into webs and tapestries, but now it all ends up recorded in broken riddles in blank books in their library
- They still love to read, but because of their issues with memory, they'll read the same book "for the first time" more than once, and if it's something they particularly enjoy, you can bet your ass that their siblings get to hear about it multiple times. They always nod along and ask questions and are very supportive--it's nice that, even as awful as things are now, Shamura can still find joy somewhere
- Switching gears for a second, a couple hcs that don't focus specifically on their struggles with health: the siblings don't see each other as much anymore, as with one member of their family missing nothing feels quite right. They don't get together as a group as much anymore, but Shamura makes it a point to visit their younger sibs. Their visits are usually quiet, peaceful: sometimes, they'll go sit in the gardens with Leshy or enjoy some hot stew with Heket, or help Kallamar sort through his medical library. They visit all of them at least once a year, which doesn't seem like a lot but to a god it's pretty frequently
- Narinder’s banishment really broke Shamura's heart. I hc that they had a vision of it on the day Nari was born, but refused to strike him down because they loved him so much. They still have a portrait of the two of them, hung up in their library: Leshy painted it, the two of them leaning against one another with a shared book abandoned in their laps, peacefully asleep. It's a perfect recreation of that moment, and the warmth and peace they get looking at it almost overshadows the grief of Narinder's loss
- Shamura makes offerings to an old shrine dedicated to their brother, every year on the anniversary of his banishment. Flowers, a sculpture, even the blood of a sacrifice: anything, so that Narinder knows he's still loved even if they can never be together again
- Y'know that old quote? "May these thousand winters swiftly pass I pray, I love you, I miss you, all these miles away."? That's literally Shamura and Narinder. They aren't angry with Nari, they don't hate him, they bear him no ill will: even after everything, all they feel toward their little brother is love, and a great, looming melancholy at his absence

Can't wait for Elucien's book (I hope it's next!!!), but I'm also preparing myself for a whole lot of "but e/riel was planned, she retconned it blah blah blah". I basically block any E/riels I come across because I'm just not interested in them or their ship, but I still see some crap from time to time (the art is pretty tho).
Like they really think Sarah will write not one, but TWO books (Elucien + Gwynriel) instead of writing ONE book she supposedly really wants to write (E/riel). Like Eluciens and Gwynriels broke into her house and are holding her hostage until she writes the books lmao
I agree, the art is beautiful and their vision of Elain is typically lovely.
But yeah, I know we can all predict their backlash if Elucien ends up as endgame (PLEASE let them be next, it's been so long coming for them and especially Lucien - end his suffering! 😭).
I don't know how anyone can claim she retconned E/riel if that happens considering Elain and Lucien were made mates in book 2. MATES. There is nothing so special as a well matched mating bond so how can two mates ending up together be a retcon?
For every E/riel relationship "hint" that popped up, SJM also provided us the mallet to knock that hint back into it's hole (sort of like a game of Whack-a-Mole.
Elain wears cobalt when she first meets Az? Cobalt is revealed to also be Graysens color.
Azriel took Elain out to the garden? Only after Lucien first suggested it and Feyre called down her orders to Rhys through the bond.
Azriel offered to take Elain to see how her seeds here coming in? Only after Feyre first offered to take her.
Feyre questions why Elain and Az aren't mates but then never speaks of Elain and Az as a thing again. And yes, Rhys says sometimes the bond picks poorly but why did the bond pick poorly for his parents? Because his father was cold and vicious while his mother was soft and fiery. Between Lucien and Az, who is more cold and vicious? Neither is a bad guy like Rhys's father of course but really, people are LYING to themselves in they aren't willing to admit Az is a lot more like Rhys's father than Lucien. And that means he would not be right for Elain who is soft and fiery like Rhys's mother.
Azriel figured out Elain was a Seer? Only because Feyre begged him for help and he winnowed away after her plea to search for answers. Not to mention Feyre knew that Elain foresaw the ravens coming before Az did, she just didn't know that made her a Seer. And Cassian was not the one to discover Nesta's true powers so clearly it's not a romantically coded thing.
Azriel lent Elain TT? Only after Cassian offered her a dagger then Mor begged him to sit out of battle. Had the female he loved not cried to him to stay safe, Az would not have had TT to offer Elain in the first place. And Elain only took it after Feyre's reassurance she wouldn't need it (not when Az first gave it to her). Also, SJM very pointedly told us that Elain returned it to him and "did not look back". It doesn't matter what Az offered because in the end, Elain did not want it.
Azriel might have gotten her a Solstice gift the second year but he was relieved not to have to get her one the first and looked at Mor with yearning while Elain was sitting right in the room with them 😬 What a disturbing romance right? Az drooling over Mor while the apparent "love of his life" is beside him?
And yes, Elain and Az nearly kissed but since when has that ever mattered in an endgame pairing? Feyre and Tamlin did way more. So did Nesta outside of Cassian.
Az also then told Elain she was a mistake and ended up feeling happier an hour later after spending time with another female.
So where exactly would SJM be retconning E/riel when for every positive interaction there is an equally negative one (when it comes to their ship)?
For every example of buildup she turned around and knocked them right back down to the ground.

Myslyvets Return to Nevermore
Chapter 5 I forgot to tell you
Enid heard three sets of foot steps coming closer to her door. Muffled conversations followed. Enid took out her phone quickly to make sure she looked good. Just a little tussle of her hair and she was ready. She drank in the scent of Wednesday, the mixed smells of soil and brimstone and- hold on- is that- cologne? She became familiar with Ainsley's scent and she remembered that Lurch didn't wear cologne. So... why was Wednesday wearing it?
"Why don't you knock on the door Wednesday?" Ainsley teased nudging Wednesdays arm with a grin.
"Why?"
"Because you're her roommate Wednesday and her friend."
"Very well." Wednesday knocks and opens the door to see a very happy Enid. It takes everything to stop a smile from forming.
"Welcome back to Ophelia Hall roomie!"
"Hello Enid."
Enid is ready to pounce herself at Wednesday for a hug but freezes unsure if Wednesday wants it. Ainsley clears her throat and looks at Wednesday, tilting her head to Enid. Wednesday walks to Enid, gradually bringing her arms up for a hug. Enid immediately lunges in. She hugs Wednesday tight and lifts her off the ground. Ainsley is in complete amazement. She has never seen anyone- anyone- hug Wednesday like that. Her jaw almost hit the floor. Lurch turns to Ainsley and smiles, nods, and puts Wednesday's things next to her bed. Ainsley smiles and nods back to him and waves goodbye. "Wednesday I look forward to our coffee date tomorrow. I'll let you get settled in. Enid, have a good day."
The door closes and Wednesday realises her hold on Enid and takes a step back, quickly misses her pups strong embrace.
"Wednesday! I missed you so much! How did you're brake go?"
The goth girl quietly winced, remembering that she barely talked to Enid with the phone Xavier gave her. In all honesty, Wednesday forgot that she had a phone during the three weeks off of school. How was Wednesday even going to tell Enid how she spent her time off? It was certainly not worth telling. If she wasn't tormenting her brother Pugsley with all sorts of wicked games, she was doing research on Seers and blood moon werewolves. But the worst of it was her visions. They were nothing like the ones she had before. They became painful and violent and not in the fun way. Like before, her visions would make her freeze, but they would also make her muscles constrict. Her body would heat up, causing her to sweat under the pressure. When she came back to reality, she would gasp for air. When she would ask her mother about her new violent visions, her mother told her to look through the family genealogy as these kinds of visions were hereditary. Unfortunately, since Seers were on both sides of Wednesdays family, this could be a phase or side effects like what Wednesday was experiencing. "My apologies, Enid. I got caught up with my family. Many of them came to visit."
"That's ok Wednesday. I figured you just didn't really know how to use your phone No hard feelings." Enid said finishing with a wink.
Wednesday was now hating herself. She knew she didn't have to lie to Enid. Enid was a very understanding person. She took a few steps closer to Enid. "I'm sorry Enid I- I lied. Over the semester break I was haunted by visions. They took a toll on me much more than my visions had before. It was a type of torcher that was not of my liking."
Before Wednesday could finish, Thing jumped from Wednesday's bag. "O! M! G!" Thing?!" Enid scoped Thing up and pressed her check against him. "It's so good to see you!"
"Enid, why don't I put away my things and give you two a chance to catch up? When I'm done, would you like to accompany me for a stroll through the forests?"
Enid nodded, "Yeah that sounds nice. I'd like to hear more about these visions to."
Wednesday nodded back and went to her things and unpacked. Enid and Thing caught each other up skin care, nail care and nail polish. Wednesday didn't take long to get her things organized but let Enid and Thing continue. She was happy to watch her pup be all excited about such trivial topics. It also gave her a chance to change into more casual comfortable clothes.
"Oh Wednesday. How long have you been finished?"
"Long enough to know what shades of your new nail polish will fit Thing best with his what you called, cool under tones. Now come, lets roam the woods before dinner is served."
Enid smiled and jumped to Wednesdays side. Wednesday opened the door for her. "After you."

im making headcanons again for star wars and you cant stop me -the first time Anakin tried Obi-Wan's "tea" he had to spittake because what the kark, Master, why is it s p i c y ? Anyways, turns out spending a year or more on Manda'yaim gets you real into behot teas, and Obi-Wan has had a soft spot for Shig ever since he was introduced to it while on the run from Kyr'stad. - Growing up in the temple on Coruscant was fun and all, but what was even better was sneaking out of the temple- and in turn, seeing how far away Obi-Wan could get from his minders before eventually having to turn back. We may think of Obi-Wan as some sort of pinnacle of control, boiled essence of mastery of the force- but in reality? He was Chaos Untold on the creche masters.
-Jango Fett was never particularly "willing", per se, to make a clone army. While he had fallen, yes, while he had suffered, yes, he was a Mandalorian still- even exiled from Mandalorian space, even Dar'Manda as he named himself, even as he divorced himself from the crown of Mand'alor. He was Haat'Mando'ade, and he followed the super commando codex. There's this one line, said by the Kaminoans- something about how the best way to control a slave is to make it think it is free- and we all know of Dooku's machinations. Do you really think Jango would not recognize the man who slaughtered his people at Galidraan? Do you really think he would agree to manufacture child soldiers for the Republic? Even- no, especially after being enslaved himself, how could anyone believe him capable of turning on his own morals like that, without serious Sith Majicks afoot? - I'm not saying that there aren't force sensitive clones, but I am saying that midiclorian counts are pure bullshit for actually measuring one's connection to the force- i would think that they are somewhat like a different organism all together, some symbiotic being that can congregate around force users, but doesn't always- meaning there are force users with low midiclorians but high control in the force, and those with high midiclorians but seemingly no control of the force at all. Midiclorians are also likely not genetic, if they are a symbiotic single cell organism. - ki adi mundi is a bitch and i hate him - While the Mandalorians do not trust the Jedi, that does NOT mean that they are unkind to force users- yes, Kyr'stad may have a harsher view of them, but Kyr'stad is a terrorist group first, and Mando'ade second. Most Ad'e see force sensitives as seers, wise ones, and gifted warriors- they have special training, and special positions, they become treasured guards and Goran'e and Baar'ur'e, Alor'e of tribes and clans due to their visions or gifts. No Mandalorian worth their salt would ever give up a child due to their abilities, ka'ra blessed or not. - Most clones refer to themselves as the Vod'e- or the Vod'e An- Brothers All. First generation clones, trained by the Cuy'val Dar and Jango Fett himself, learned Mando'a straight from the source, and when the Alpha and First gen rank clones began teaching the next generations, they passed on the knowledge as well as they could. Most clones are at least passably fluent in the spoken tongue, and can, at a glance, finger count up to twenty in the language. Only the first few generations can reliably read Mando'a, and as far as is known, writing in the language has just been contained to the Nulls, and a select few of the Alphas. Because, Once Again, My Friend Promised Me Chocolate
So, in case anyone actually paid attention, my friend got me to submit our OC (the Raven Miraculous, Kwami of Fate/Destiny, sees the future) and the organization she came up with that went along with it. Well, apparently she’s done some work since then, and now wants me to talk about this AGAIN.
Why she doesn’t do this herself, I don’t know. Probably to watch me suffer.
SO
In case anyone missed it, my friend came up with an organization that acronyms as NOSPOILERS; the New Order Society Preventing Omni-Dimensional Information Leaks, Ensuring Realm Stability (she may have changed a few words since I last checked but whatever). The point of the organization is that they bill themselves as a secret society that observes the world, protecting it from “outside influence” so that the world’s “fate” isn’t “corrupted” by the choices of other dimensions/timelines etc, but otherwise they don’t interfere. However, in the typical fashion of secret societies meant to control the world from the shadows, these days they are less “protect the world” and more “use our knowledge to gain wealth, power, and privilege”.
Now, while they mostly do this through the method of comic book groups like HYDRA or the Illuminati, NOSPOILERS also has access to a powerful magical object that allows the holder to see the future (in my friend’s Headcannon, the Raven Miraculous). The big thing is, to use this item, the holder has to already possess some kind of Clairvoyant ability or potential. It doesn’t have to be strong or obvious, but they need something, otherwise they can’t use the item effectively. Like, they’ll still be able to use it, but it Won’t really be worth it - they won’t have proper control, what they see will be fragmented and disjointed, and the whole experience will take a massive toll. The idea is, people who try to use the item without some kind of Clairvoyant ability (born or trained) will get overwhelmed by the images of the future. Their brains aren’t built for it, and the strain can cause all sorts of problems, such as headaches, fainting, dizzy spells, fevers, and even delusions. Prolonged use when you aren’t built for it can and will eventually cause the user to either have their brain “shut down” in self-defence, leaving them in a coma, or they get swept up in the visions of the future, and lose all hold on reality. You can train for that sort of thing, but even then, all you’re doing is prolonging how long you can last using the item, and your control will be weak at best. In contrast, those that are born with some kind of Clairvoyant ability or potential, even if they never use or awaken it, are basically built to handle that kind of strain, and can use the item easily and quickly master it.
So, it’s in NOSPOILERS best interests to search for and find as many people as they can with some kind of Clairvoyant ability. As a result, they have loads of people who can see the future, even without the item, which just cements their power even more. Still, only the best Seers of each generation are granted the position of Oracle, the one who will use the item to assist the organization.
Then, you get one guy who looks at what the group is doing, and decides “Well, this is f*cked up.”, steals the item and flees the organization. Now, whether the guy lives or gets caught and killed is up in the air, but he manages to mail the item to a distant relative (for ML, they live in Paris) and then we get “teen suddenly has futuresight and superpowers!”.
Now, before anyone says anything about this kid immediately drawing a target on their back, apparently if you look into the future, this item is invisible. Like, you cannot use Clairvoyance or Scrying, or Divination, or any magical method to find this thing. You want to find it, you have to go the old fashioned way.
So, one thing my friend brought up, is that strictly speaking, NOSPOILERS doesn’t actually need the Futuresight MacGuffin. Like, they have so many people who can see the future, plus more resources and money than God, that the MacGuffin is a bit superfluous. But, when you have power …
Anyway, some random bits that I was told to mention:
- NOSPOILERS was not the groups original name, they’ve rebranded
- NOSPOILERS is run by a council, usually of twelve to fifteen members
- since their whole thing is information, they have a massive Archive that has basically all the information in the world
- they have an entire section dedicated to sports, and who’s going to win which trophy in which league, going the next hundred years. It is updated religiously.
- there’s another section dedicated to media and popular fiction. This is the hardest section to recruit for, because you have to be okay with the endings and plot twists of everything being spoiled.
- NOSPOILERS owns a stupid amount of casinos and the like, but most of its members never personally participate. They look down on gambling and lotteries as “too easy” and “beneath them”
Now, ML specific
- NOSPOILERS absolutely know who Hawk Moth and Team Miraculous are. The only reason they haven’t stuck their noses in is because they see the Wish as the “easy way out” (also an Oracle once had a vision of NOSPOILERS using the Wish and the world blowing up, but that has nothing to do with it)
- Actually, the other reason they haven’t stuck their noses in is Gabriel Agreste. They have the knowledge he’d need to save Emilie, but they are fully aware that even trying to blackmail or bribe him would end very poorly, so are keeping out of it (at least until something important turns up to force their hand … .)
- NOSPOILERS has an … understanding with the Order of Guardians. Whether this understanding will survive the Order’s “resurrection” remains to be seen
- of the various Miraculous, besides the Raven, NOSPOILERS would very much like the Snake and the Rabbit. The Snake they’ve never gotten, but there have been a few occasions they’ve snagged the Rabbit. They can never keep it for more than a minute. Usually, they’ll be holding it, when a portal opens, they get beaned with an umbrella, and the watch gets yoinked. This has happened so many times.
Again, we are never going to do anything with this, so if anyone wants to use it, go ahead!
-
oh! fascinating!

SJM Could’ve Made El*cien Endgame Very Easily. (But She Did Not)
Even though we haven’t gotten Elain’s book yet I honestly feel if SJM really wanted El*cien to be endgame there would’ve some sort of build up. Not huge declarations of love but some cute moments building their ship and things readers will be able to look back on and be like awh. I find very it hard to believe that Elain and L*cien will do a whole 180 in the next book. Going from “not being able to spend two minutes in the same room together” to loving each other forever and possibly moving to the Day Court together. Highly unlikely, especially being mated for at least two years now and absolutely no progress whatsoever. Even just casual interactions these two cannot handle. So here are moments where SJM could’ve written El*cien but chose not to:
First off, L*cien could’ve been the one to figure out what was wrong with Elain, I mean it was right there. Madja said your mate is the best bet, and he did get to the end of the bond thread but she ran off before he could feel anything and Instead Azriel figures it out. (Also why did SJM make L*cien stumble over his words and have no clue then Azriel without looking at him figures it out immediately. Why was it written like that? )
Secondly Elain asks if he could hear her heart because she hears his, and L*cien says No. SJM could’ve had him said something like with vision/ his magical eye or just with the bond like “I feel it beating” ah I know they’re not fully mated yet but the thread is still there, a bridge connecting their souls. But instead “Azriel alone had listened to her. The male who heard things others could not.” I definitely think that’s weird to write after L*cien couldn’t hear her heart. (Also what if Az could hear her heart or what if Elain is actually hearing his?)
Another thing I’d like to talk about is what I find key moments to building a relationship. Again not huge declarations but the little things, the baby steps. Like after L*cien talks to Elain, he tells Feyre to “Take her to some garden” and literally right after Azriel invites Elain to the garden. How can that be a coincidence? Why couldn’t L*cien do that? He thought about it but Az was the one to do it. And with the Solstice, Elain was talking all about her garden plans at 3AM to Azriel, why didn’t SJM make that L*cien? He probably even could’ve told her all about how pretty the Autumn Court is with the colors and possibility gave her some inspiration. But instead SJM chose to make every interaction awkward and wary, there is no comfort between El*cien.
Next focusing on L*cien’s eye, The Cauldron gave Elain the power of Seer and a mate with a magical eye. Wouldn’t that be something to bond over? Or at least talk about. Maybe Elain asking what he can see with the eye? I don’t know, but it’s definitely weird how the two are never even compared, yet Elain being the one who sees and Az is who hears sorta is.
Now in ACOWAR, L*cien really wasn’t around once things started to get serious, even though he was on business it’s hard to think a mate not being there during the most dangerous of times. And that brings up a lot of questions, did he feel anything through the bond when Elain got lured by The Cauldron? Again I know they’re not fully mated but wouldn’t he feel something weird? Something not right. And I am probably over estimating his eye but it could’ve been so easy for SJM to write like him seeing something amiss when Elain was lured/ at the war camp and bringing it up when he got back. (Sorta thinking of the Eye on Feyre’s hand with her bargain with Rhys but not exactly.)
(And coincidentally in his absence there was a lot of Elriel moments. Azriel was the one to notice Elain missing, him ignoring Nesta’s snarl of warning and kneeling at her empty cot. The famous “I’m getting her back” *compared to get her back lol*. The kiss on the cheek. The TRUTH TELLER scene. Also honorable mention Azriel’s WRATHFUL stare when Elain got taken.)
Next Solstice presents. L*cien could’ve done so much better!! Ok I know he doesn’t go to the Autumn Court that much, but we saw his journey with Feyre going through it and how beautiful it was described, Why couldnt he maybe give her a special plant or native flower seeds to that area?Or like even something from the Mortal Lands knowing Elain was mourning her old life. Like a wood carving that would remind her of her father. But instead Az picks out the perfect gift for her and most mates go for jewelry. Why did SJM do that?
Now I feel like L*cien has definitely lost himself and where he belongs. I feel this could’ve been the perfect opportunity to find where he belongs with Elain. She is described as light, and really could’ve been the light at the end of the tunnel. Like L*cien’s final destination. And he even admits he found Velaris beautiful and thought Feyre’s newfound family would be like with Tamlin at the Spring Court. But instead of hanging around in ACOWAR and ACOSF, SJM sends him off and shows him as being very comfortable with Jurian and Vassa in the Mortal Lands and choosing to live with them as friends. Again there is absolutely no sense of comfort with Elain. And at the end of ACOWAR she even invites L*cien to the Night Court but when he shows up at the Solstice in ACOFAS and ACOSF she is very uncomfortable and wasn’t even the one who invited him there. Why did SJM do that? And more so why did Elain go out of her way to give Az a specialty made gift to fix a problem he’s never voiced, but she still noticed. And no gift for L*cien at all.
Also I would like to note the shifts in Elain. For someone who is described as light these instances raises some questions “Elain stepping out of the shadows.” & “Elain’s potato steam like Az’s shadows.” Wouldn’t you think SJM would find a way to compare her to fire not shadow? I mean we already have the light so it’s right there. Also coincidentally Elains bff’s happen to be Az’s spies and literally half shadow wraiths. (And idk I kinda laugh at the potato one, like it’s so random to make that comparison.)
And then the Bird of Flame. It’s obvious Vassa is similar to Jesminda. And L*cien just happens to point out how Elain isn’t like her at all. SJM could’ve made L*cien like how Elain is different and the opposite but we dont really get that. What we get is Jesminda chosen him, Elain was thrown at him. Also it’s very weird every time he does see Elain, first wow she’s the prettiest woman in the world but then immediate oily queasy feeling ? That just doesn’t sound right. Then him saying he needs to know if Elain’s worth it or not doesn’t sound very good either. And like I mentioned up there someone whose compared to light all the time but not one mention of fire then here comes Bird of Flame. And even taking it a step further SJM writes “Lord of Fire and Bird of Flame” together and in turn we also get “Death and his lovely Fawn.” And as we found out in ACOWAR L*cien is Helion’s true son and heir to the Day Court. I know Vassa is human right now but I can’t help but think she’d really like it there!
Basically the whole point of this post is showing there is no El*cien build up whatsoever. Even little moments SJM could’ve added and chose not too. There will be nothing for the readers to look back whatsoever and it’s very hard to believe they’ll magically start to connect in Elain’s book after spending all this time being awkward and uncomfortable. But what we did get was consistent Elriel moments and mentions of Vassien being a good match as well. There is not one single moment that El*cien has that’s better than Elriel’s. Even when it would’ve been so easy for SJM to write it, she chose not too. And just for any Gw*nriel shippers out there: Most people are not in the fandom. When they pick up the books they will consistently see Elain and Az, it would be very random for Azriel to somehow make this great connection with Gw*n out of the blue after reading so many Elriel moments.

Do you think that SJM put the truth teller as a bridge of connection between elain and azriel because it will show the truth about them in some moment on elain book. I think it would show the truth open a secret between their relationship like what they truly supposed to do together
First, hi @evavalentina19 ! Your name is gorgeous (assuming that’s your name)!!!
To answer your question; yes, I do think there is a chance. But mostly I think it is very symbolic of their relationship. Listen, I am a firm believer that Azriel and Elain are mates, because
The mate behavior is there. There are SO many moments. EVERY moment, I’d dare say. ESPECIALLY Acowar and Acosf.
There must be a reason why Azriel can smell elucien’s mating bond when no one but Amren could smell feysand’s after it clicked (And elucien’s already clicked, but there has been no acceptance, no union. Even Nessian’s mating bond didn’t come through until that one night. Before then, they just reeked of sex and each other.).
The whole “If anyone can sense if something is amiss, it’s a mate” scene in Acowar.
And the links between elucien’s bond and spells. I won’t talk about that now, but it’s here, if you’d like to read.
And if I had to add a fifth item to that list, it’d be:
5. The truth imagery going on between elriel.
You already brought up Truth-teller, and here is a post by @daisymydaisy that amazingly explores what powers it has and even supports your theory!
If Elriel turns out not to be mates, then truth-teller could still symbolize that true love. But I think that they were always meant to find each other, as the whole “three brothers with three sisters” thing and “the cauldron chose two sisters to mate with two of those brothers, but gave the third one to another” debate. The truth imagery behind everything, especially Truth-Teller (Teller of the Truth) being the only bridge between them, when the mating bond is described as a bridge between souls, is very unsubtle!!
There is also Morrighan, whose powers are truth!
Mor is part of the equation when we discuss elriel. She was, for almost his entire life, Azriel’s love interest. And, as I’ve stated here, is still a stake in the elriel book. Even if she did not make an appearance, which I highly doubt, there still remains the question: how does he feel about her now? Is he truly over her? Yes, we might know from circumstantial evidence in acosf that he is, but ex-lovers like Greyson and un-required-pinning-afters like Azriel with Mor are still part of the story. We all want to know how and when it happened. When did Elain stop thinking about Greyson exactly? When did Azriel notice Elain in a romantic way for the first time and did he even notice that Mor had become less of an interest? So, from the get-go, Mor is tied up into this.
What makes it so interesting is the fact that Mor’s power is truth, and that she has some sort of role in elriel’s love story (be it passive or active), since she knows something both the readers and the other characters don’t know!
Tumblr media
Mor’s powers are truth! And, honestly, that’s pretty much all we know about them. But according to the way the rest is written, I figure out Mass is only giving us bits and pieces here and there, because she fully plans on showing us Mor’s powers when it’s most convenient in the next books. I’d bet that we’ll learn some more during elriel’s book if this post is right.
Tumblr media
We all know our seer girl is observant, but Morrighan is, too. And this scene pictures her staring at the space where Azriel used to be standing before winnowing away. Seconds before, Elain was talking about her vision.
We don’t know what Mor was thinking of, but I doubt SJM wrote her looking at that spot if it weren’t because she was observing something in Azriel. It could even be as simple as noticing how Azriel listens to Elain because he understands her—like even Feyre points out later on—or something as complicated as sensing something between him and Elain. The point is, she was staring, and we got to read about it.
By Acofas, she already knows something neither the readers nor the other characters know, but she does not interfere. And, judging by her powers, whatever she knows is true, and the conviction in her voice is a giveaway of the faith she has it will come to pass.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That convo could be regarded as a strong elucien hint, if it hadn’t been for this other one that happened before:
Tumblr media
Here, she does not respond to the comment of Elain giving back Truth-Teller, but hums (not at all telling of something wink wink).
It was her who brought to attention how Azriel won’t give-up Truth-Teller for any of Mor’s (his all-time crush, no-one-thought-he-would-ever-get-over-he-loves-her-too-much-is-obsessed-with-would-look-at-her-with-pain-in-his-eyes-but-somehow-still-get-laid-with-secret-lovers love interest) gifted blades, but that he did give it up to Elain (who we know now is driving him wild with desire and want and he would go to a store to buy her a thoughtful gift for solstice and we have heard nothing about still having those secret lovers since he began to skip family dinners and burn calories on the gym they have above the house of wind at night to ignore how he wants flower girl instead of heading to town to find one of those secret lovers even the shadows worry for him), who at the moment, was supposed by everyone to be only Az’s high lady’s sister.
Why would Mor go out of her way to remind Feyre that Azriel did something for Elain that he wouldn’t even do for Mor? Why would SJM write that convo if she hadn’t been nudging us to remember and realize how big that scene was, too? This convo alone says “hey, look at elriel!” and so when Mor says “It’ll sort itself out. It always does” and reiterates that all of them will be happy, immediately we understand that something is afoot here including Azriel, and Mor knows about it. She knows the outcome. We know too.
Now, this is a theory, but I wonder if we will see the Veritas Orb also playing a role (like you said about truth teller) in exposing the truth of Elriel (be it them as a secret couple in Acotar 5 or their mating bond).
Tumblr media
It belonged to Mor’s family for millennia and it carries the same truth magic. So I feel like it could tie up. I haven’t read any theories or posts on this, but if there are, I’d appreciate anyone who points it out to me so I can read!
And lastly, there is also the whole True Mates thing SJM showed us in CC2.
Tumblr media
The wording is too precise, me thinks. And it’s another wink at mate behavior. Who went ballistic-in-the-way-only-mates-can-when-the-other-is-threatened when Elain was taken by Hybern? Who went ballistic-in-the-way-only-mates-can-when-the-other-is-threatened when Cassian said Nesta had a fight with Elain? Who went ballistic-in-the-way-only-mates-can-when-the-other-is-threatened when Nesta called Elain a snoozefest and said she was finally growing claws? (He was ready to risk it all with those shadows like snakes preparing to strike.)
Conclusion
I wrote all of that to say that yes, I think there is a chance that truth-teller might be involved with revealing the truth about Elriel and, for those of us who believe they are mates, about their mating bond.
It could be by revealing it to someone alone (like Azriel finding out somehow through it) or to a group of people or to everyone, but Truth-Teller could also just be symbolic (along with the rest I discussed above). Something else could be what exposes their relationship (like the Veritas Orb, a kiss in dramatic fashion in front of everyone when one of them barely survives in a battle of some kind, or one of them screaming “BECAUSE I LOVE THEM!” during an argument with Rhysand, etc.) No matter what, the iconic blade plays some part in their relationship. A symbol at the very least. “True love lies between these two holding me,” it’s certainly saying.
The possibilities on what exposes Elriel are endless and I only hope it is as climatic as we make it out to be in our fanfics and theories and headcanons!
Anyway, that is my take on it. Sorry to keep you waiting for a couple of days, I hope my answer was worth it!

Okay crack Wednesday theory but also the more I think about it the more it makes sense. Did anyone else get the vibe that Xavier and Wednesday might be related???
We know their families are connected with the funeral story from when they were kids and their abilities are also similar - especially if the relation comes from Morticia’s side - with both Wednesday and Morticia having past/prophetic visions and Xavier’s dad also being some sort of seer (???) as they discuss him being an expert on visions. Xavier’s abilities are kind of vague with us only ever seeing him bringing his own drawings to life but it’s also implied that there is some sort of psychic link in his dreams - with the Hyde haunting him and him dreaming of, then drawing, the gate of the Gates mansion around the same time Wednesday did. He’s also stated multiple times that he struggles getting certain images ‘out of his head’ and that’s why he has to bring them to paper. We also see him for the first time painting a raven the day Wednesday arrives at Nevermore almost as if he had dreamed of a raven the night prior and Wednesday was referred to as the ‘Raven of the bloodline’ by both Mortica and Goody later on in the series. Not only that but he draws Wednesday on multiple occasions, breaks up with Bianca not long before Wednesday arrives for vague reasons of not trusting her Siren abilities (like bro she was a siren before you started dating her) and then asked Bianca to use her Siren abilities to get Wednesday ‘out of his head’ (similar to how he talked to Wednesday about his dreams of the Hyde). He was also instantly infatuated with Wednesday despite her being not the least bit interested in him - continuously pursuing her despite what seemed like his own better judgment as he stated multiple times that she treated him like shit (and that was before she framed him as a homicidal monster). On top of that, the only time we see them touch (I think?) is when he tackles her out of the way of the statue, after which she immediately becomes unconscious and doesn’t remember anything else - yet she didn’t even hit her head hard enough to get a concussion and Wednesday doesn’t seem like the type to lose consciousness over a near death experience - therefore she could have had a vision after touching Xavier, but whatever she saw he didn’t want her to know and made her forget (this is a little out there but still… technically possible.) Like there is a strong magic link between them and we weren’t given the slightest hint as to what it is or why it’s happening - in fact it’s not talked about at all. Though tbh if they are related I don’t think he knows cause that would be weird as it’s also stated the his relationship with his dad is not great and neglectful. The actor who plays Xavier also said in a recent interview that he doesn’t think Wednesday should end up with Xavier and that she should be with either no one or Enid (same tbh) but it’s not uncommon to tell actors about possible motives/future storyline’s (even unconfirmed ones) for their characters so that they can add depth to their performance and don’t create future plot holes which would make sense why he wouldn’t want to end up with his cousin (or he’s just a wenclair 💕)
Even if they aren’t blood related I definitely think there is a good opening into them having a deeper connection down both their respective bloodlines - like a grudge or curse between their families/ancestors 200 years ago or something. Because Xavier’s plot line (especially in relation to Wednesday and his abilities) was, in my opinion, the most open ended and vague out of everyone’s. And with it being noted that certain abilities can send people mad - both Rowan and Wednesday for example, both people with mental abilities like Xavier - he’s also my first bet for Wednesdays stalker.

Donnie keeps the existence of the dream recorder a secret even from Leo bevause A) He knows Leo would be upset at the invasion of privacy, B) the things Leo sees are so impossible and do terrifying Donnie doesn't really know what to do about it and know everyone else will just worry, and C) SCIENCE!!
At first, he probably figures out Leo has a lot of nightmare and decides to try to do something about it. Like, Leo refuses to talk about his dreams even when Dr. Delicate Touch comes out. They are THAT bad! So Donnie wants to get to the bottom of what his twin's nightmares about, and to do that, he needs to know what Leo is seeing. At first, he thinks Leo just had a really overactive imagination and tries to limit his horror intake... then he notices that the things Leo sees in his dreams ACTUALLY HAPPEN.
This kind of hints at Donnie realizing there was something up before their nimpo was unlocked (and Leo's dreams turned to an HD showing of the apocalypse future), which i'm kinda liking?
Like, Donnie's probably the next contender for having the worst sleeping schedule, so it's possible he'd notice if one of his brothers was up late (or didn't sleep at all.) So he'd probably be the one to notice that on some nights, Leo's up and looking thoroughly shaken from some nightmare. Asking about it wouldn't do any good b/c he's horrible at emotions and stuff like that (maybe Donnie triers once and Leo pretends there's nothing wrong.)
So Donnie would do what Donnies do, throw tech at the problem. He eventually decides that if he can see the dreams, maybe he can figure out why he's having them and remove the nightmare triggers. Like if he's dreaming about scary movie stuff, not let him watch scary movies before bed. That sort of thing.
So eventually he figures out how to make a dreamcatcher that records nearby dreams (with the help of a bit of mystic. Probably a trip to the hidden city library coupled with a very basic crystal.) He presents it to Leo as a "useless decoration to hang on his wall. With absolutely no ulterior motives." (when leo doesn't believe him, he points out a secondary decoy function. that it makes white noise to help him sleep, which Leo grudgingly accepts.)
A lot of the dreams he gets are just, normal Leo dreams. They're bright and silly, and usually involve a unicorn somehow.
The nightmares are...different. They're dark and hazy. Indistinct, often jumping erratically from one image to another. They don't make sense.
Not until they face the shredder for three days straight and he realizes afterwards, that the DIY grave he made was featured in one of them. Which is impossible. Completely impossible.
He starts studying the nightmares more carefully, committing them all to memory because dreaming of the future isn't possible. There has to be another explanation. (he even goes back to the library, looking for answers. All he gets are vague books about Seers. Absolutely useless for proving his brother isn't seeing the future.)
THen their nimpo is unlocked and Leo's nightmares are suddenly so much sharper, more detailed, showing things more disturbing than any of the nightmares before.
And now they're every night.
Yeah, i'm kinda liking this thing lol. Mostly b/c then Donnie knows something's going on even before Leo, even if he's in denial that the future works like that.
Thank you!
Tumblr media
If it's after Leo starts dreaming of the apocalypse future, he'd be in for a shock.
Thank you!
Tumblr media
That sounds about accurate. I think most of his visions have more to do with what's happening around and to them then what they are doing. So seeing him accidentally start the apocalypse? nope. Seeing the results of the Krang invasion? oh yes. and hates every second of it.
Thank you!
Tumblr media
Yep, it would just make sense to CJ. and that's an adorable nickname! Leo would definitely use it for him b/c he probably only saw as far as sending him through the portal so, quite literally, all their hope for the krang to be defeated, would be on him.
Thank you!

it's a sleepy/sad saturday for me, so have a blackflame lore dump. I suppose this could also be sort of a character intro
under the cut I'll be talking about Greylin, one of the ruling deities, and his followers. up until now we haven't really heard much about him besides Eves' general disdain for him, so let's get into it shall we? I'll also put in a cheeky little snippet :)
Greylin - Lord of Deities (a self-appointed title)
fast facts: huge, like nearly 8 feet tall, extraordinarily brutish and muscular, allergic to wearing shirts, voice so deep you struggle to understand it. bald. always, always wears a crown. clouded, milky white eyes.
Greylin is without a doubt the most powerful of the deities, and spends much of his time enforcing that fact. The true nature of his powers are unclear - he cannot conjure flames or manipulate blood, for example, but he can immobilize the other deities and strangle the usage of their blessings. Though the other deities' allegiances to Greylin vary widely, they all fear him (though most would never admit it). It seems that he and Eves particularly loathe one another, and Greylin often goes out of his way to torment them.
[A brief note on deities and their followers since I haven't touched on this yet: when deities anoint a new follower, they bestow their blessings upon them as well as magically brand them with a unique mark. These marks are only able to be seen by deities and their followers, and a follower of one deity can see marks for every other deity as well.]
Greylin's blessings to his followers, known as Seers, allow them to resist the magic of other deities' followers. They also have an uncanny ability to sniff out and track magic of any kind. He marks them with distinctive swirling purple lines branching outwards from the center of their faces, and is the only deity to use such an ostentatious mark. Seers are often employed by royals and wealthy nobility for use as magical bloodhounds, as once they have a scent they will never forget it and can track it indefinitely. They also serve as a kind of cleanup crew for havoc wreaked by other deities (namely Nico and his blood-crazed cult followers), and as such are generally looked upon favorably by the common folk. Other followers, on the other hand, regard them with disdain - Seers are very outspoken about their hatred of the stink of magic, and the sight of their characteristic mark is often forewarning of a swiftly approaching death.
Seers are few and far between - Greylin likes to have around ten at any one point in time so as to use their scarcity as leverage when dealing with mortals. He finds amusement in goading wars and political strife between the various royal families on all the provinces, which has earned him the respect and good graces of the deity Samira.
and an excerpt -
Greylin leaned forward, his dominating presence overwhelming Calliope’s vision.
“Do you know why Eves fears me, Calliope?”
Calliope wheezed as the power constricted her even further; it held her limbs in place and forced her chin upwards to stare back at Greylin’s unrelenting expression.
“Surely they’ve spoken numerous ills of me to you, and yet when I command them, they fall in line just as the rest. Have you not ever wondered why that may be?”
Blackness began to cloud the edges of Calliope’s vision despite her attempts to breathe. Greylin leaned in until his mouth lay an inch from Calliope’s ear, the words low.
“I can wipe your existence from this world with barely a thought. I brought your pitiful deity to their knees with as much effort as I expended on you. Be grateful you’re spared the fate that Eves endured at my hand, and perhaps consider that the next time you wish to disrespect me.”
sheesh I forgot to add the tag list -
@hallwriteblr @kourumi @space-writes @at-thezenith @careful-fear @j-1173 @liv-is @eldritch-flower

sort of continuing on an earlier ramble or two - core contradiction of hermione is that she thinks systematically and values systematic thinking but often makes snap judgements and decisions on pure gut instinct and systematically justifies them after the fact, which leads her to act idiosyncratically. ruthlessness is arguably her single strongest defining personality trait in that she’s pathologically goal-oriented, relentlessly so, willing to disregard any obstacle for the sake of a mission, but she also has these weird hangups and grudges and pet causes that are rarely productive in or of themselves and hardly ever serve a greater goal. things will just rub her the wrong way and she can’t get over them, or they won’t and she’ll get over them before anyone else does because it’s necessary that she does so, and there’s not always an obvious pattern.
everyone else sees spew as a dead-end cause, it’s ill-constructed and there’s very little going on in the way of coherent grand strategy, but she decided it was important and couldn’t let go of it, and she was going to do it her way and no other way. there’s no reason for her to despise divination as a school of magic beyond just straight up hating it on principle, regardless of its eventual importance to the war in the way of prophecy, etc. meanwhile she has every reason to hate snape, who is frequently a dick to her specifically and has been for years, but once it’s established he’s on their side she’s among the first to compartmentalize, because they’re at war and he’s an ally and that’s what matters.
it’s the irony and the hypocrisy of her near-universal revulsion to the irrational often leading her to act irrationally in disregarding genuinely useful things she instinctively deems irrational. she's 100% do as i say and not as i do; rationality is both one of her greatest strengths and her most significant blind-spot! that’s just good character construction tbh
(this is also why i love the idea of her simply not being able to stand luna, who not only represents everything she hates in terms of the irrational, but worse, is sometimes actually right about things)
all those snap judgments also make her weirdly averse to outside influence- she does listen to others if she’s already decided she values their perspective on a particular issue (dumbledore and mcgonagall come to mind), but even then, once her mind’s made up it’s not likely to change, and the mind-making-up process can happen super quickly. sort of a positive and negative leadership quality; if you need a decision made in a high pressure situation, she can make a decision and stick to it, but she's probably never going to be a great listener, and there's always a chance the whole thing gets sidetracked to follow a hunch. the hero you need but not the one you want, i guess. (she would not be great for morale.)
she's like if you designed a person specifically to be invulnerable to hypnosis. if she'd gotten tom's diary i legitimately don't know if she'd have ended up taking over the world, deciphering the horcrux plot in its entirety, driving tom insane, or just throwing it away after an hour (isn't there a fic about this?)
i almost want to make her a seer just to see what the fuck she'd even do with that. curse her with unexplainable visions that keep coming true despite her best efforts to prove them wrong, pure magical thinking that she can never escape and has to force herself to trust, an instinct that betrays everything she stands for. oh my god she'd hate it

Do you have any theories about the next two ACOTAR books?
SJM also said CC3 sets up ACOTAR5. Do you think she means romantic pairing or plot (or both)?
I have so many theories and I'll be curious to see if I even get one right! 😂
To start, I think CC3 setting up future ACOTAR books has nothing to do with ships and everything to do with plots. I know in the HOSAB spoiler interview, she mentioned that now the ACOTAR characters are going to be thinking "if Bryce was able to enter their world, does that mean others would too?" Which to me means that those creatures who have been trying to find their way back to the original world that threw them out will use portals to return which means a threat even bigger than Koschei and the Human Queens will be a concern.
Theories I feel are a strong possibility (I have posts that go into detail as to why I think each of these but this will be basic summary):
Vassa and Jurian will end up together, and ruling over the small slice of land that connects the human world to Spring.
Elain will make her way to Spring and end up as High Lady (or interim High Lady) and Lucien will the one that helps her in that role. Not only is he very aware of how a Court should run but he's friends with Vassa and Jurian. There would be no better pairing to share a border with those two than Elain and Lucien, especially because SF reminds us how important the Spring Court is politically due to it's location.
Elucien Calanmai scene. If Elain is HL, performing the Rite with Lucien (the last to fulfill the duties of a High Lord in the Rite) would be exactly the sort of union needed to restore the land to it's former strength. Plus, Lucien deserves to have his last memories of the Rite replaced with new (better ones).
I know Elain is a Seer but really, I can't imagine a whole book of her having visions that are just "hints" of what's to come. With the vison of the ravens and her visions of Vassa, she was given clues but they were still unclear and they weren't necessarily things she could do. Most of her visions seem to benefit others but don't seem to be something that belongs to her in the way Nesta's power of death or Feyre's powers from the High Lords belonged to them. And visions still leave her sort of useless when it comes to a battle scene. So I think Elain's other abilities will be that she can shift into an owl and that she'll end up being a healer (physically healing wounds, bringing back the crops on the Prison Island since I'm guessing it's decline is the reason the Pegasus numbers dwindled). There seem to be hints that Koschei's onyx box is located on the Prison island so that's another reason they may end up there which ties in to the Pegasus storyline. I'm also thinking that Vassa's curse may actually be a Valg type infection in her blood and if Elain is a healer, she'd be the one to remove it. I originally thought Lucien would but neither Feyre or Helion have been able to sense a spell within her, saying it seems to be "woven into her blood" and Lucien will share in their powers.
I think Lucien, however, will play a major role in actually defeating Koschei after learning if his Day Court heritage since he was "setting his target" in SF, though both he and Elain would travel to the continent together (with Jurian too).
Things I think could happen though I'm less confident on:
Gwyn is able to find Narben and pull it from the sea (or call it to her).
I do think she's a possible lightsinger BUT not at all evil. Rhys has "evil" type powers when you consider the twins were also demati but he only used those powers to protect those he loved. Regardless of lightsingers possessing a darker sort of power, Gwyn would NEVER use it against the main characters we love. It would be used against the bad guys. I do think it's something she'd struggle with though, the desire to use it on others even if they deserved it. But I think that would make her well matched to Az who also struggles with his self worth because he enjoys revenge and knows he's done the things he's done.
I'm back and forth on whether we're meant to focus on the mystery of her grandfather or the mystery of her father. If it's her grandfather, I could see it being Beron and Azriel ends up challenging him in the Blood Duel. If it's her father, it's a long shot but I wonder if there's any way he could end up being Illyrian which I kind of love the thought of.
People like to take the "appear as a friendly face" line and try to turn Gwyn evil with it but I think a more interesting spin would be if Az fell in love with Gwyn or developed a strong friendship with her. They'd both discover her Illyrian heritage at a later point and her friendly face would suddenly be someone that appeared as a foe to Az because of his issues with the Illyrians. Gwyn would have a reason to kick Azriel's ass for his reaction and Az would have to do some much needed groveling, not to mention he'd really have to face his issues head on and embrace his heritage.
I also think Az might lose his shadows for a bit because the things his shadows want (like the power that exists within Gwyn) and the things that Az sometimes commands them to do (fight on behalf of Elain or Mor) seem to be at odds in SF. Sort of like Bruce Banner and the Hulk, when the Hulk refused to come out until Bruce Banner learned to accept that the Hulk was his own person and not something to be used at his convenience. The two eventually merged into "Smart Hulk" and I think we'll see a similar journey for Az.
Back to Elucien, I wonder if the line that "Elain would do whatever is needed for this Court" is foreshadowing for Elain coming to the conclusion that because the NC needs Spring as an ally (and they're not getting it from Tamlin), she'll suggest an marriage alliance between she and Lucien after he discovers his Day Court heritage and she's involved in Spring. There was never a stronger show of unity than marrying the offspring of two different kingdoms and where her mother predicted she would only marry for love and beauty, it would be fascinating if Elain was the one to marry for political reasons (which would obviously then turn to love). And in turn, it would be Elain doing what was best for her sisters and the first Court she belonged to in Prythian. I also think it is possible she was living (or had been living) in the townhouse but not with Az. I don't think it's coincidental that Cassian specifically told us it was vacant and open for anyone who needed it, then we see a fire burning in HOSAB. Plus, after what happened on Solstice, I imagine Elain would want a place of her own so she's not constantly running into Az at the River House where IC business is conducted.
I could also see Lucien as High King. Not as a long term thing, just as the role is needed during the upcoming time of war.
I think Mor may end up with the Golden Queen as her love interest (there are hints she's not actually dead and may be a lion shifter) and that she'll end up leaving the NC on a a more permanent basis.
I believe the Dusk Court will never actually be a real Court at all but the location where other characters from other series may enter Prythian to join in one multiverse battle. It's where I also think Nesta will raise an army of the dead (those trapped in the stone) wearing the Mask to help in that final battle.
So that's what I've got so far! Sorry for the rambling and jumping all over. I'm sure there's about a million grammar mistakes, it all came out in brainstorming form.
Thank you for the ask!! 😊

Blasphemy (Thomas Hewitt x F!Reader Pt. 2)
Tumblr media
A/N: heh heh heh we back. I got bored and decided to start writing a part 2. I figure I'm just gonna continue on with this when I have free time. Hope y'all like it!
TW: cursing, blood, restraints, suggested non-con(?)
------------------------------------------
The seering pain in your head was overhelming as your eyes fluttered open, your vision blurry. You were sat in the police cars passenger seat, hands resting at your sides on the grimy, worn leather seat. You groaned to yourself, peering up through the dusty, cracked windshield, to see thw very same officer that has assulted you earlier speaking to someone. They stood in front of a rather tall, decrepit farm house. The sheer size of it was incomprehensible, towering menacingly over you and the car.
The Sherrif had looked as though he was arguing with whoever it was standing with him. As your vision cleared, you instantly reconized her as the old lady from the gas station. What was she doing here? You didnt have the energy to think, let alone move yourself. You watched helplessly as she shuffled over to the window, leaning in with a soft smile plastered on her aging face.
"Whats your name, honey?" She smiled.
"(Y/n)..." you managed to groan, unsure of why she was asking. Perhaps there was a mixup. Perhaps they were looking for someone else. But then why did he...
Your thoughts were cut off as the hoarse voice of the Sherrif rose.
"Thomas, you get your ass out here and you help me with this!" He yelled, making you cringe back into your seat.
You weakly raised a hand up to look at it. Your fingers and palm coated in a thick coat of now partially dried blood. You slowly reached to the back of your head, touching lightly where it hurt the most, wincing and sucking in sharp air through your teeth as your nose scrunched and your eyes clamped shut. You couldnt remember exactly what had happened, though you were trying to piece it together.
The old woman next to you introduced herself as Luda Mae, and smiled softly again before lightly tapping the window sill of the door and shuffling back towards the home. You glanced up weakly, watching as a large shadow emerged from the front door. A hulking mass of a man stood there, sleeves rolled to his elbows, worn slacks and adorned a filthy apron. His hair was a mess of brown curls that hung to his shoulders, a few stray ones clung to his face.
His face...
As he lumbered closer, you noticed he had a sort of mask on his face, obscuring some of his features. You were much too weak to show any protest, as he opened the car door with ease, reaching inside to grab you. As he moved you, the seering pain in your head and your calf returned, and you let out a shrill cry. You could feel his muscles tensen at the sound, but soon relaxed. As he lifted you, your eyes met with his. A jarring, piercing brown that looked like they were borring into your very being. You felt your heart skip a beat, and gasped as he threw you over his shoulder like you weighed nothing. He had one hand a firm grip on your inner thigh, the other placed lower down your leg to keep you on his shoulder. Your arms dangled behind him, with no energy to try to prop yourself up, or even scream for help. Your body felt week, your head felt fuzzy, and you tried your hardest to fight off the impending darkness once again.
The large man walked you into the home, through the massive arched doorways, and towards a set of stairs, leading down into what you assumed to be the basement. Were they taking you prisoner? What did they want with you? Were they going to kill you? Was that sherrif going to let this massive man...
The thought of your fate made you shudder, tears pricking at your eyes, threatening to spill over and you tried to beg and plead with your captor. He said nothing as he lumbered down the stairs, heavy breaths escaping him as he walked. Once he reached the floor, you could hear the splashing of water. Stagnent, ripe smelling water. The entire darkened basement smelled of mold and rotting meat. It was cold, sending a piercing shiver through your entire being.
The large man set you down, rather roughly, onto a table, which was dirty, old, and stained with god knows what. You sharply inhaled through your teeth as your head connected with the table, the pain feeling like hot knives on your scalp.
"Please...please let me go..." you weakly pleaded, your throat hoarse and dry from the texas heat.
He didnt even look at you. He didnt say a word. He turned, grabbing a hammer, some nails, and what sounded like metal shackles before turning back to you, proceeding to hook your wrist and pin it to the table, hammering in old, rusted nails where the holes in the shackles alighned. You winced at every strike, praying the next hit wouldnt be anywhere on your actual body.
After you were safely secured to the table by your wrists, ankles and neck, he turned away from you again, fiddling with something where he had retrieved his previous tools.
"Please...I didn't do anything!" You yelp, tears finally spilling as your voice cracks. You could feel the adrenaline coursing through your veins as you pulled at your restraints, a faint part of yourself hoping to break them free.
He turned back to you, his eyes once again meeting yours. You swallowed hard and looked down at his hulking hands, to spot a dirty Fillet knife being held in one.
"No, no! No! Please! Don't!" You cried, arching your back and attempting to kick your feet.
You struggled against the shackles some more, sobbing loudly, and gritting your teeth. He approached you once again, leaning over you. You hadnt realized his sheer size until that moment. He looked you over, running his rough, calloused fingers against your face, causing you to recoil in fear. He brushed stray strands of hair away, watching as your (e/c) eyes dart back and forth from each of his, to the knife, and back again. He cocked his head to the side, watching you. He suddenly gripped your jaw, holding it tightly as he grazed his thumb against your lips. You shivered, mentally slapping youself for feeling a rather uncontrollable feeling, realizing it was turning you on. His hand strayed from your face, down to your collarbone, tracing every part. Your breathing picked up, and hitched when he brushed past your sternum, and then stopped. He recoiled slightly, and froze. He looked as though he was contemplating something. A moment of silence passed before he turned away from you, and headed back up the stairs.
You laid there, breathing erratically, tears still streaming down your face, when you heard a muffled arguement from upstairs.
"Are you fucking kiddin' me?!" You could hear the sherrif yell.
"You leave him alone, Hoyt!" A female voice chimed in.
There was another moment of arguing before the basement door swung open, causing you to recoil. The large man trudged down the steps, and over to you once again.
"No, no more! Please!" You begged, once again pulling at your restraints. But he didnt have any weapon in hand. In fact, the only thing he did was pull up your restraints, freeing you from the table. You laid there a moment, confused and weak. To him, you must have looked like a small animal, cornered by a large predator who was hungry for his next meal. But all he did was pick you up. You didnt struggle, you didnt protest. He held you in a bridal carry, and lumbered back upstairs to where Hoyt and Luda Mae sat.
"There you go, honey. Enjoy!" She smiled. But you knew she wasnt talking to you. She was talking to him.
"I really hope you're fucken' happy, Tommy. Now whats gonna be for supper? Huh?" Hoyt spat before storming out of the home. Thomas just huffed, carrying you with him upstairs.
Your mind raced with what he was going to do with you now. He walked you up to his room, laying you on a worn out, filthy bed. You tried to claw your way free, but it was no use. He brushed your hair from your eyes, and glanced down at the wounds you had. Surely, those would have to be fixed up proper.
