Probably sounds dumb but conquered a small fear of mine today: eating dinner at a restaurant alone.

I used to travel a lot more for work, but I have never liked eating alone. So I'd either sit at the bar or get food to go and take it to my hotel. Now when I travel it's usually to New York or London and I have friends and coworkers in both places so I don't have much reason to go out alone.

But I did it tonight! My flight got in really late and I was starving. A small moment, but I feel weirdly accomplished.

*I feel the need to specify this is oddly only dinner for me. Breakfast and lunch I feel like there's way less pressure to be in a group

miraculous ladybug is a hotbed of whiplash between extremely hard-hitting show-don't-tell writing and expositing-the-point-directly-into-the-camera writing. like the show is constructed so the basic plot can be understood by 6 year olds but then you'll randomly have a scene during a timeskip that shows adrien's room in a depression-induced mess after he quits modelling and it will never be addressed as such but it will neatly convey the disruption to his mental state that a lack of routine causes him. and u just have to deal with both of those things side by side constantly😭
