a new attempt at me trying to sketch out ideas for my porcelain (faerie) royalty outfit that I’m putting together, all I have so far is the shirt, earring (it’s not even finished) and bracelet

How often do you go studies? How do you push yourself to do them? I personally struggle to study instead of focusing on my art.

Honestly, I mainly do studies when I feel stuck with my art in general, and have no real drive to do original stuff. For me it's refueling when I'm stuck in a rut, to make sure I'm still drawing during times when I wouldn't otherwise, and I'm less disciplined about them than I could be lol

Like right now, the only studies I regularly do are daily gesture drawings, which is more to keep myself in a routine than anything else. My last proper study now was months ago, but sometimes I do them obsessively several weeks in a row.

If your own art is what's distracting you from doing more proper studies, the only reason I'd worry about studies is if you feel frustrated about stagnating skill-wise, and when that's the case, I try to work with more references while doing original stuff. In a lot of ways, you can always turn an original piece into a sneaky study lol

Ultimately, the only important thing for me is that I am drawing, everything else is secondary.

guy behind us (me and my friend, both would be read as women by most people) on a dark street at around 10.30 at night shouts 'EXCUSE ME' very loudly and we both just keep walking (we both get harrassed often and were completely done for the day and just wanted to get home) and he shouts 'EXCUSE ME! HEY!' but again we pretend like he doesn't exist bc why would we want to talk to a strange man in the middle of the night on a narrow, barely-lit street? so THEN a woman with him shouts 'Excuse me!' and i can tell from their accents they're American so they probably want directions but i don't live there so i'd probably be useless anyway and my friend is bad at directions and we're both tired AND these people just shouted at us so i'm Annoyed with them??? so again we keep walking and the woman goes 'oh they're scared. oh, yeah, they're scared.' and like we're not scared we're just exhausted and i'm not in a Good Mood so i say loudly enough they probably heard 'we're not scared. but oh my god fuck off.' bc like, lady, (yeah i'm gendering her) if you're going to attract the attention of two 'girls' at night whyyyyyyyy would you do that by having a guy SHOUT at them??? like i got street harrassed enough today thank you very much and my reaction at that point would have been to get angry if i had engaged. like girl are you really thinking that letting your boyfriend or w/e shout at people from behind at night is going to get a good response?

Can Dracula assume multiple types of forms at once? In this entry, he first seems to be simultaneously bat/wolf and then later on specks of dust/wolf.

I assume he is the wolf both times, because Lucy distinguishes that howl from dogs/he hasn't gotten along with dogs in the past, and there aren't wolves in England for him to command.

I figured the first incident was Dracula just alternating back and forth, but unless she means "all of a sudden the air is full of specks", and not "the air has been full of specks"... seems like he's both at once. Which I didn't think he could do.
