Love getting a mental health check from a 90s PSA that's on fire.

And I'm doing pretty well all things considered. Had a rough patch a week or so back but I think we're recovering. It's been a hard adjustment.

But! But I'm making progress in plotting out Fading Reflections, I've got a few one shots I'm working on writing, we're trying to put in the effort.

Oh! And I'm seeing the crane wives again in a few months, so I want to work on a few projects based on them. One watercolor and one embroidery. For the embroidery I'm thinking about doing the Deer from "The Well", but I'm conflicted on what to do for the watercolor piece.

Whatup mate it's me again back with another fluff prompt! I reckon connverse should go on a date together (maybe somewhere exotic) to a restaurant neither of them have been to before to try something new

It wasn't often that he got to be the knowledgeable one about the human world, but one of the perks to his traveling was finding weird, obscure places to eat, filled with foods Connie had never tried. it was actually pretty easy to find new foods for her - her mother being so strict with her diet hadn't left her a lot of opportunity for new meals.

He loved taking her to somewhere small, a little shack on the outskirts of downtown, and watching her face fill with curiosity. He loved ordering for them both, filling the table with food he promised he wouldn't let go to waste, and insisting that she try a little bit of everything.

"When we're old enough," he tells her as they make their way through a massive tray of sashimi. "I'll find bars for us too. We can have crazy dinners and crazy drinks. Whatever you want."

She giggled, ducking her head. "You know, I'll be happy with anything. I just like spending time with you."

"I know," he says, beaming. "But... just because I'm not going gem stuff anymore doesn't mean I don't want to go on adventures with you."

She looks a little shy and suggests, "Well, what if we planned on traveling together?"

He blinks. "Like... what I'm doing?"

"Sort of." She hesitates. "But I meant more all of Earth. Maybe the stars? But I get it if you don't want to anymore."

"With you?" he says, beaming. "Anywhere."

hey whatup i'm more of a magic researcher than a witch (maybe that'd make me a wizard instead??) but uh. i've been seeing a pale falcon being attacked by crows everywhere i go. not just around my town, but on road trips and such. this has been going on for about 2 months. any thoughts?

Jesus Christ uuuh my thoughts are that that’s 1.Badass af. and 2:

I know falcons to be a symbol of aspirations/ambitions, something of strong, willful intent and determination. They’re about being victorious over obstacles trying to detain you, discourage you, or set you back. They’re just these awesome powerful birds of prey that are seen as both wise, determined, and triumphant.

Seeing smaller birds attacking the falcon seems to me, personally, a pretty clear illustration of either things in life currently setting you back (or trying to knock you down) from reaching your goals, rising up, being victorious, etc, OR a warning to watch out for petty obstacle-setting individuals who may try to keep you from reaching your aspirations coming up in the near future. Maybe right now it feels like you have clear goals and intentions, and you are motivated, determined, and ambitious, but it feels like the rest of the world is kind of fighting against you. But it doesn’t matter what damage the crows try to do, a falcon is always gonna do as falcons do, and it’ll always rise back up.

 I can’t help but also include the color symbolism here between the black crows and the pale falcon, i’ve always heard of black/dark birds/moths/other small animals as being generally bad omens, and light birds/animals being a good omen. I don’t believe them to actually be bad luck, but I think that when the universe sends us symbols it does so in ways it knows our subconscious will understand. 

I honestly would love to get an update if this keeps happening lol how bizarre.
