Ayn
he would definitely take you to cafe-hopping! we all know how much he loves sweets heh
at first when he asks you out, he asked where you would like to go. he would go with whatever you suggest!
however if you are unable to decide he would suggest to go cafe-hopping :3
being the gentlemen he is, he would pay for everything
he does not really initiate any physical contact, the most he would go is reach for your hand as you both walk down the pathway, only to retract his hand and stuff them in his pocket if you didn’t notice. (he likes to hold your hand 🥺)
“Hmm, the chocolate cake looks delicious. And so does the cheesecake. Oh? You want to try both? Sounds good to me”
Tumblr media
Alkaid
he lets you make the decision! however if you can’t decide, he would take you to his favourite hill to stargaze and of course a picnic with food he made himself personally!
there are sandwiches, cupcakes and blended fruit juices, just for you! he’s got everything prepared for a perfect date
it is cute how he seems so contented talking about the constellations you both see while talking about the stories behind it
at the end of the day he would escort you back to your home, hesitantly leaving a gentle kiss on the top of your head as his soft voice bids you goodnight
“Whenever i look into your eyes, I see the whole universe of stars. It’s beautiful, just like you”
Tumblr media
Lars
amusement park. he would immediately suggest to go to the amusement park. there isn’t one on the island? no worries, he got his yacht and helicopter at his beck and call. are you worried about the ticket price? don’t worry, he’s got everything covered, just relax and enjoy
he would take your hand in his with no hesitation as he leads you to one ride after the other, resembling an excited puppy going out to play
he likes to go on more thrilling rides but would go on whichever you would like to too! he would prefer to be with you at all times. if you are too scared to ride any thrilling rides, he would not force you, though that does not mean he won’t tease you a litte
he spoils you a lot. if he notices your eyes lingering a little too long on something, like example a huge cotton candy. he would buy one for you despite your protests
“Oh come on, is my little painter scared of a rollercoaster like this~? It’s okay, if you are scared, you can grab onto my arm, I will always be by your side.”
Tumblr media
Clarence
he would love to go to the cat cafe! he loves cats and he doesn’t wish to go with something typical like the movies or a fancy restaurant. plus he doubts you would like to go fishing with him.
he is very gentle and respectful throughout the date. like offering his hand when you are walking down the stairs with no railing to hold on to
you might be surprised by how natural clarence is with cats. cats love him for some reason. he teaches you the basics of cat behaviour, how to pet a cat properly and most importantly, asking the cat for permission before patting it
overall it is the chill happi vibes hehe. (he was worried that the date would be too boring for you)
he would definitely buy something for you, like perhaps a matching set of merchandise from the cafe as memory of this day
“I had a great time today, any time spent with you is enjoyable. What about you?”
Tumblr media
Cael
dude literally knows you so well considering he was with you throughout your teen years. at some point in time there is an instance when you mentioned to him about your ideal first date
he doesn’t tell you the location and just asked you to prepare, when you asked where you’d be going, he would mysteriously smile and shake his head, saying it is a surprise
you are taken by surprise just how well prepared the date was (he would literally do anything just to make you happy, no matter the cost or methods needed to achieve it. i mean, ‼️SPOILER ALERT‼️ he literally built a cinema before with futuristic technology to show a possible future you might have, there is nothing this man can’t do)
you could tell he was nervous, after all he has never been on a date with someone. the only experience he has is hearing stories from your mom when she was still alive and possibly fangirling about your father
aside from his well-concealed nervousness that only you were able to observe from his slight change in his normally serene expression, you would’ve thought that he had some sort of experience with this considering how flawless and smooth the entire date went.
“My greatest happiness is seeing you happy, seeing you smile makes all my efforts worth it.”

I really want someone to write a Black Sails fanfiction where Silver unmakes Flint. Except instead of having a showdown on Skeleton Island, Silver is thrown into the past.
I have three ideas:
1. Silver’s physical body is thrown into the past. He shows up at Lord Hamilton’s doorstep, looking like a raggedy, one-legged pirate and says he has to speak to him urgently. Perhaps this is before James McGraw has left for his first voyage to Nassau and Silver’s warning will give the three lovers plenty of time to be more discreet. Perhaps it’s the day before their lives fall apart and all Silver can give them is a few more hours to run. But for any of that to happen, Silver must first convince a lord, a lady, and a man who is not yet Captain Flint that they are in danger and that he is someone they can trust.
2. Silver gets thrown into the body of his past self and must pull a long con to get himself close to the Hamiltons and Lieutenant McGraw so that he can warn them. Perhaps he convinces some lady that he is a foreign lord or a merchant or whatever makes a man sufficiently marriageable to a peeress at that time and ingratiates himself into high society. Perhaps he joins Thomas’s salons. Perhaps he watches from a distance as Flint falls in love, first with Miranda and then with Thomas, and wonders what price he would pay to let Flint keep this. Does he just warn them to be more careful? Or does he murder Peter Ashe and Thomas’s father and do anything possible to ensure their safety?
3. Silver gets thrown into the past in body of his younger self. He decides that the problem all started when Flint fell in love. So he changes the story. He presents himself to the Hamiltons (marries a lady, impersonates a lieutenant, pretends to be a merchant with knowledge of Nassau, whatever) and he works with them on their pardons (or maybe he and Miranda manage to talk Thomas out of it). There is no need for Thomas to consult with James and so they never meet. James will be safe, far away from the Hamiltons, rising through the ranks of the navy. Maybe he will never even realise he likes men, if he hasn’t already (and God, doesn’t Silver wish he’d gotten to know him better). By the time Silver realizes he’s falling in love with Miranda’s sly tongue and Thomas’s stubborn implacability, it is too late. He is too entwined in their story and he has sealed his fate. A few years later, a pirate called Flint rises as captain out of the bloody shores of Nassau, cunning and ruthless, dark curls gleaming in the sunlight.

Interview Wambus
Have time for an interview?
“Why, I’m not a stranger to an interview, partner! Hit me with what you got!”
Who are you?
“Well you heard of my song? ‘My flowers of love?’”
I have, it was stuck in my head for like 3 weeks.
“Now ya see, Wambus Troubleham doesn’t need an introduction.”
Why come to Snaktooth Island?
“Why, I’m just here to help myself with some new life experience. Get some creative juices flowing.”
So your juice isn’t flowing?
“Well, no hit can stay platinum forever, and well, the fans didn’t really care for ‘Workin’ hard in the morning’ or ‘My heart is a bloomin…’ *sighs* People think I’m a ‘one and done’ deal…”
Thoughts on Bugsnax?
“Every one of them taste like a seed blooming from a long winter! It gives me creative energy like I’ve never felt! They’re worth whatever price I have to pay.”
What price is that?
“They’re forbidden fruits, partner! I believe there’s something out there to keep us from ‘em. It’ll come for me one day, but I’ll wow the world again before I go.”
Why did you leave town?
“That’s easy! I was following Triffy, she knows her way with the snaks.”
Were you using her for the food supply?
“No! Of course, not! We’ve been married for more than 15 years! She’s too sweet! I would never do that on purpose.”
Any information on Snorpy?
“Ah, Snorpy, He and Chandlo are apparently big fans of my work! You know, I met them on my first farewell tour, even though they didn’t have passes. Snorpy climbed in through the ducts, but hey, if someone breaks the law for my music, I ain’t gonna ignore them.”
Does it happen often?
“Nope. Unfortunately.”
What happened to Snorpy?
“That night when he went missing, I ran to the woods looking for him. But I found something towering over the trees. Scared me to death! I call it ‘The Queen of Bugsnax.’ and I ran out of there like a jackrabbit.”
What is this ‘Queen of Bugsnax?’
“I don’t know, honestly… All I saw was a shadow, but if Snorpy bumped into that thing. *sighs* Then I fear for his safety.”
Thank, Wambus, that’s a wrap!
“Now I know I sound crazy about the Queen, but I swear it’s true! Here, if ya don’t believe me, go and check yourself. Now then, back to the music.”

car Tesla Model X - the exterior is black but the interior is white.
You have never seen a car look more organized. It still smells new and it's three years old. There's a compartment for everything and he has an organized basket in the rear for every kind of emergency you can think of - fashion emergencies that is.
his place Huge flat in London - Canon we know he does not live in Paris anymore, he responds to Bruno asking if the Islanders think it's raining back home with: "Ugh, I'd bet on it. Britain is so wet."
His place is immaculate. You can't find a speck of dust anywhere. His taste is minimalistic, everything is black and white but mostly white. He hates clutter, can't stand when things are left in the wrong place, or if something is left out. His flat always smells like it was cleaned that day, lemon and fresh scents fill the air. Has one of those fancy TVs that look like a picture frame. Everything has a purpose. He has a huge walk-in closet that is even equipped with an island in the middle. Has a second walk-in closet that's empty because he hopes for someone special to use it one day. His bed is always made, but even though he likes things to look aesthetically pleasing, he does not have throw pillows on his bed.
Tumblr media
1 If you stay at his place, you're not getting up until noon. There are some things he wants to share with you. Even after that though, you're not getting up. He's making you breakfast and coffee, and a shirt to borrow to come to the kitchen in.
2 He wants to show you off, especially at the events he has to go to. He'd take you to a rather exclusive boutique to pick out a new outfit. Whatever you want, don't look at the price. He'll swipe the card as long as you feel gorgeous in it.
3 Not afraid of spiders. He'll take care of those. (Canon, too!)
4 He might be a smooth talker, but he's a helpless romantic at heart; once he finds someone he's fallen for, he's not straying. As long as you'll have him, he'll be there to support you.
5 He loves a good party as much as the next model, but his favorite thing to do on the weekend is cook, go to the market and catch-up with his mom on Sundays by phone.
6 If he was going to propose, he'd arrange for her best friend to take her for a spa day (all the stops: massage, nails, facials). Although he isn't keen on lying, he'd tell her they're going to an event so she could pick out an outfit she loves. He's doing it when she's turned around and not paying attention so when she turns back, he's down on one knee. 1.5-carat diamond ring, princess cut, of course.

Why can’t I commit [to a new Nintendo Switch Game]?
Recently, I’ve been on a mission: find a new Nintendo Switch game to distract myself from the games I’m avoiding playing [Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley,  both come to mind] and I’ll tell you exactly why I’m avoiding those games. In my opinion, it’s a huge challenge trying to find
As a female gamer, sometimes it’s challenging digging through the buzzwords of the gaming community. I hear one end of the spectrum is “Cozy Games” and on the other side is... Rogue-Likes? First person Shooters? Street Fighters? Puzzle Games? Why is the only descriptor I can find of cutesy, organization, relaxing games default to this weird code word of “cozy?” Trying to find games that I’ll like based on this weird criteria, where unless the game is overtly cutesy on the outside, a single creator must deem this type of game “cozy” for it to be labeled as such. I’d love to get into a feminist, gendered debate but the subject at hand is still myself, attempting to find a Switch game I’d enjoy, digging through countless reviews of different types of games.
Why can’t I play Animal Crossing? Although I did purchase the Animal Crossing themed switch, I am not a historical Animal Crossing player. I actually grew up playing Pokemon, the card game and the DS/Gameboy games. I will admit, I am currently avoiding my current Pokemon Diamond Victory Road victory, I know I need to make my team stronger but alas I just don’t feel the commitment for it at the moment. Many game reviewers discuss how they believe that this current edition of Animal Crossing is the weakest, the least structured, and laziest, is the term most often used. I don’t hear many positive reviews of this game, due to its lack of consistent updates, and in my opinion, lore and add ons. Nintendo didn’t put much effort into the downloadable content of Happy Home Paradise, and in my own experience, I didn’t have fun in the game until I used the only two available cheats that Nintendo has somehow allowed to slip by, being; the ability to use other people’s designs for pathways, buildable objects, etc, and treasure islands. Both reminded me of the Sims cheats I used to use, bb.infinitemoney, etc, to allow for things that crutched the game, or allowed more of a freeplay version. I quickly acquired every item I could ever want, and after furnishing my house, I got bored pretty quickly. Because everyday is time synced in Animal Crossing, meaning that everyday you log on, whatever time of day it is, it’ll be the same in the game. I know a lot of people that time jump, meaning they change the time and date on their Switch to unlock things in Animal Crossing, I personally thought this was a little excessive, but to each their own. I just didn’t find the villagers interesting enough to keep me coming back, to be honest I never understood how turnips worked, and I just wasn’t convinced to keep playing the game. The last time I played Animal Crossing was about 3 hair colors ago, if that gives you an idea.
Why can’t I play Stardew Valley? Stardew Valley has lower stakes than Animal Crossing, and is definitely easy to get back into. Again, I didn’t grow up on years of Stardew Valley, so I know very little about the lore and the long term actuality of the game. I enjoy going into cult classic games like these two cold, so I can be surprised and enjoy the game to its fullest. I also find it a big challenge, however I know if I look too hard into gameplay advice I’ll get stuck on how to perfectly play the game which is simply impossible. Stardew’s days are much shorter than Animal Crossing, and the game is also a fraction of the price. In my experience, playing Stardew can feel slightly rushed, and challenging to get everything done right. Right now I’m entering Spring of my 3rd year and I am not very proud of my farm or my organization in game. When I see how well organized streamers are I definitely feel as though I’m playing the game incorrectly. It’s an enjoyable game but because I haven’t researched the lore sometimes I feel like I’m missing the bigger direction or meaning in the game. Because Stardew takes itself a little less seriously than Animal Crossing, I find myself more easily coming back to a less intimidating game.
Finally, what games am I considering to avoid these Cozy Gaming classics? To give you a more rounded idea of the games on my Switch, here’s some games I’ve bought/downloaded.
I just finished Coffee Talk and Cozy Grove, working on The Lego Harry Potter Collection, I couldn’t get stuck on Garden Story, Life is Strange: True Colors [I might’ve watched too many streams of this one.. I don’t wanna larp. I’m sorry], CatTails, AER, The Last Campfire, Danganronpa/Doki Doki Literature Club [I just haven’t gotten around to it], Scott Pilgrim is just a tad too challenging for me alone, I’m working on it as well. I’m so tired of reading these same titles over and over again, and I refuse to download the organization games just because they’re so short. I was interested in Inscryption, so I started watching some streams of it to see if I’d like it and I’m still unsure. If anyone has any recommendations, I’d love to hear some but I don’t know if the problem is just me. I enjoy these games, I just would love something fresh and not a super huge commitment. I’ve been watching some Breath of the Wild streams which inticed me, but I’m also not a Legend of Zelda person. Maybe I need to branch out, maybe I need a kind stranger on the internet to recommend the perfect game for me.

Crosswind Isle
Crosswind Isle is a thriving island dominated by its massive port town. Colorful buildings dominate the western two thirds of the island. The rest is mostly field for grazing with a small orchard near the eastern shoreline.
Tumblr media
Point of Interest #1: Lady of the Seas
The Lady of the Seas is a large, comfortable hotel. With 100 rooms to rent, its everchanging denizens come from all over. The Lady was the first fortress built on the island, but it has been an inn for nearly 200 years.
The tavern is legendary for its food and rowdy atmosphere. Maude, the elderly orc innkeeper is nearly as legendary as the establishment.
She’s had the run of the place for 30 years. Rumors abound that she is a retired pirate. Her eldest son is a navy captain.
Point of Interest #2: Shrinehouse
The shrinehouse is not unlike the many other places of worship scattered across the seas. It houses small shrines to a variety of gods and is maintained by a handful of clerics. It is, however, notable for its size and diversity.
Mother Pelian is the longest serving cleric in Crosswind’s shrinehouse. An elf devotee of Artemis, she keeps her past a closely guarded secret. Parties that get into Mother Pelian’s good graces may be asked to retrieve her holy symbol from the forsaken lighthouse.
Point of Interest #3: Good Stuff
Good Stuff is a large house near the docks owned by the Brothers Echo three bat-like sprites named for their tendency to repeat after each other.
Whether the three sprites are siblings or not is uncertain as their story always changes.
The house is crammed full of oddities of varying value that the sprites seem to have organized based on a system known only to them.
They’re mostly useless for arrows, rope, and other standard bits of equipment, but if you need pickled newts of a particular vintage, purple dragon scales, missing pages of a book, or a magic sword, they almost certainly have it.
The Brothers Echo think highly of their wares and price accordingly, but they love music more than money. A good song is usually worth a reasonable discount.
Tumblr media
Point of Interest #4: Messrs. Croak & Enders
Among the colorful buildings on Crosswind’s High Street there is a single drab but immaculate black storefront. The sign by the door reads “Messrs. Croak & Enders, Established.”
The interior resembles a funeral home, and the two owners dress as undertakers.
Mister Croak is a squat, pallid man with a wide smile and pitch perfect manners. Mister Enders is a bit taller than the tallest person in the room with a distant expression and few words.
The truth about the strange duo is unknown, but the duo are tolerated because whatever it is they do doesn’t seem to be hurting anyone.
In truth, Croak and Enders do whatever needs doing. Croak and Enders were once the servants of a long-dead god.
They spent millennia seeking purpose and have found it as fixers. They usually expect some price to be paid (usually a favor) in exchange for their work.
They locate rare magic items, find adventuring parties, turn up obscure bits of lore, and very rarely slay dragons.
Tumblr media
Point of Interest #5: Elixirs & Brews
This simply named potion shop is run by the middle-aged Madam Delancey who has recently taken in her brothers family after their home on another island was ruined in a storm.
The potion making talent runs in the Delancey family, and (though now especially crowded) the shop has never been better stocked or more profitable.
Point of Interest #6: Crosswind Library
The Crosswind Library is a treasure trove of rare books and nautical charts. It is currently overseen by the elderly dwarf Harrier Seastone and his two young human assistants Willem and Beth who are hopelessly in love.
Point of Interest #7: Valiant Shipwright
Lucas Valiant is a young human man following in his father’s footsteps as a shipwright. The Valiant crew is famed for their versatility after years of working on the strange ships that visit Crosswind Isle.
Point of Interest #8: The Seafort
Newer construction than the Lady of the Seas, the huge walls of the Seafort sit closer to the waves and protect the island with powerful cannons.
The lizardfolk admiral Hazikar has few friends thanks to his aloof manner and unsentimental approach to protecting the city, but Crosswind’s leaders trust him.
Tumblr media
Point of Interest #9: Crosswind Lighthouse
The amateur elf mage Menlo lives in the lighthouse along with his seven half-elven daughters. Menlo settled on the island when he fell in love with the lighthouse keeper.

4 Renovations to Make Instead of Moving
Tumblr media
In the current home market, renovations may be more accessible and cheap than moving. Due to a lack of inventory and rising demand, finding and buying a house has grown incredibly challenging in recent years. Many people may no longer be able to afford the house they desire. However, this does not imply that it is impossible to have the house of your dreams.
Remodel or Move?
There are several reasons you might wish to relocate. Your family may be expanding or contracting, the space you already have may not be adequate for your purposes, or you may just want to improve your living quarters. All of these valid motives for moving are listed above. However, house renovation is frequently a just as good remedy. This is particularly true at this time when prices are abnormally high and supplies are few.
Of course, there are instances in which relocating is the best or only course of action. For instance, perhaps you would want to move nearer to friends and family or that your children attend a superior school area. In a similar vein, whether you are in a condo, apartment, or another tiny place, no remodeling will be able to increase your living space.

Green is a warning.
It's funny how you were taught that way, for green is the colour of nature. There are many ways to go about it.
Green becomes verdant when describing the grass coated fields at the hillside.
Emerald hangs around the neck of the fine lady walking across you in the street, her significant other places her palm on the small of the lady's back, she holds the same shade of gem on her ring.
The bartender in front of you is reaching out to grab a bottle labelled 'Chartreuse', and you've decided that shade of green is called so.
The concept is simple enough.
Army green is the shade you need to be wary of. Don’t be fooled by how dull it looks to the eye, for it’s a bright warning to all.
Whenever you see that shade of green, from their coat, person covered from shoulder to knee, it's your sign to turn around, walk away and don't look back.
You stayed vigilant to that rule until tonight.
Tumblr media
"One more,"
"You sure? You look pretty busted, young lad."
You sneak another glance.
It's rude to pry into a stranger's conversation, it really is, and the worst part is that it does you no good at all to do so. You've heard enough of your mother's strange metaphors to know this, your mother has a weird way of seeing things.
She describes it as lifting a trapdoor unwarranted, to peek through a black narrow crevice in a room of pure white, like poking your eye through the keyhole to see what's beyond the locked door.
You never know when it goes wrong, the other end of the keyhole could be the garden of Eden, or what comes is the muzzle of a gun, and the bullet might be the last thing that runs across your mind.
The world hasn't changed much since 4 years ago, in fact, the world hasn't changed at all.
It just got bigger.
Your mother was a smart woman, she knew all the little tricks needed to survive, from negotiating for cheaper prices at the market for goods, down to the gut feeling that flashed warning signs, steering her away right before trouble. She raised you all by herself, she's strong. The scattered advice she gave through her naggings were justified, the roundabout ways she took to do so, you weren't so sure. The established rule was not to mess with the government, don't get tainted in their mud, and life won't go wrong any more than it did. Your father learnt that rule too late.
Despite this fact, you still couldn't help yourself. This could be due to your eagerness to learn, curiosity always giving you a tap on the shoulder to lure you away. After all, mysteries exist simply to be solved, or why would they exist in the first place?
It's a simple concept, it all boils down to human nature, just like how it all started, when humans began to sin. The apple was too enticing.
The interaction at the other end of the bar table was intriguing to you. You had no idea what this pull meant, but it’s magnetic, constantly drawing your attention and making you glance over from the corner of your eye.
A basic interaction between a boss and a customer, bartender and militarian.
Maybe it's because you hated that a soldier was seated at your side of the table. But could hatred really intrigue you so?
You chugged down another gulp, attempting to shake off whatever stupid thoughts your head was feeding you. They wasted no time at all in piecing together the image you last saw, painting on the missing lines and colouring it vibrant with many hues onto the canvas.
The gallery displayed the frame of your local bar, with just enough people around to be cosy as they entertained themselves away in the comfort of each other. The bartender had his hands full in prepping another drink.
The military man at your side was drawn in greater calibre compared to the rest of the picture.
Dirty blonde hair slicked back neatly and muscular build filling his attire nice. His jaw and features sharp.
He looked divine.
The only thing that threw you off was the green. He's clad in that same disgusting uniform the military troops wore, grey eyes dull from the amount of alcohol he's chugged. You began to count.
1 drink, 2, 3 drinks, or was it more? You can't remember just how many have been served onto the table, you just know it was a worrying amount that the bartender got nervous for him.
It was clear his goal was to get wasted, but you can't help but remember that there was no cause of celebration at all for the military troops, with Eren Jaeger on the loose, all was lost.
The man looks at his glass again, swirling the liquid in lazy circles. The droopy look in his eye you'd notice anywhere, his bitterness pouring out of his body into the faintest of actions. This man looked sad. Bitter and sad.
It was a pity, his eyes could've looked so pretty.
They look like shattered glass now.
You looked back at your own drink in hand. Did you have a reason to waste away your sorrows like him? Your head was so clear despite the number of drinks you chugged down yourself, full of clarity just like the white wine you’re swirling in your glass, mimicking his actions unknowingly while he occupies your mind. Probably not good as a reason as his, you’re doing this all for a good time, aren’t you? You sneaked one last glance at the man, and you shrugged the curiosity off.
Not worth the risk, you finalised your judgement.
The wine in your glass took longer to finish than you thought was necessary, you didn't mean to stall, especially with the loud conversation from the table behind drowning out the faint music. Maybe it just wasn’t a good night tonight. You looked up, only to find the bartender standing at the far end of the table, right before the military man, nudging at his toned arms.
“Kid, are you asleep?”
He really is, one hand resting on the table, cushioning his forehead and his face buried in the sleeve of his uniform. The other arm was lax on his side. He’s completely knocked out.
“Hey, wake up!" he tugged at the green sleeve of the blond-haired man once more.
The man was half asleep. Eyes barely open and furrowed eyebrows to express his annoyance, practically shooting daggers at the bartender, but it wasn't for disrupting his rest, it was for a different reason entirely, a strange reason at that.
"Get your hands off me, Eldian."
You paused.
It was a funny realisation, shunning your interest away for it was taboo in your family to like a man like him, yet in reality, you were begging for something more, anything. And that little push he gave was just the right thing.
You can’t help it. Curiosity catching on fire faster than you can put it out, a single word spoken across the table fueled kerosene to this abandoned imagery lingering in your mind, value soaring for what's at stake here. You wouldn't want to make the same mistake as your father.
It wasn't just about a handsome man or the fact that he was part of the military now, as if those two things didn’t pull you in enough. If you were contemplating on risking it earlier, the temptation increased tenfold, he's so much more alluring now. This man wasn't boring like the other ones. He’s interesting.
An Eldian, huh.
A word used only in the newspapers bringing about more mysteries into this little world was brought up, and by a man of the military at that, throwing the word around like a slur. No one made such creative insults no matter how divided you were. Not in these narrow walls.
As quick as you were to catch on the small detail of the conversation you eavesdropped, your mother's strange metaphors began rolling the scenes in your head.
Trapdoor. Dark crevice. Keyhole.
Do not peek.
Green means turn away and don't look back.
"Kids these days, mopping around with their stupid insults. The military has gotten lax."
The bartender catches your stare.
"Ya know him?"
You shook your head, and with that, you turned down the bartender's voice in your head.
Your attention dived back to the drunken soldier. Is it worth it? For him?
Father died young to the military, but you were too little to understand, your mother fed strange metaphors to guide you. The question is have you grown at all?
Is it going to be Eden or a bullet to the head?
The soldier is still slumped on the bar table, the bartender speaks over to you:
"Good, you're still young. Don't mess with the mili-"
"I'll take him home."
Worth the risk, you disregard the previous decision.
Tumblr media
He’s heavy, with most of his body weight on you and one arm slung across your shoulder. You carried forward, holding onto his arm as you tried to keep his body lifted. The sole of your shoes began tainting, stained with dirt from the dragged steps, one step at a time. The sound was loud with each step you took, it was echoing, bouncing off the tall walls of the narrow alleyway, it was all you could hear. His army boots followed along sloppily with each step you took as you slowly made your way out of the dark road.
It was scary.
You weren’t very good with being in the dark alone, you knew that fact very well, always avoiding this situation well. You didn’t like the contrast of glaring lamps against the dark night, the way the flies swarmed around it like the sun, the little chatters of people around you, the way your mind filled in the lines you couldn’t hear. Every sentence went against you.
The cold occasional gust of wind sent your way couldn't calm you enough, with light beads of sweat forming on your forehead, the sound sped up as you sought to get to comfort quick, hoping to get to the other end of the tunnel, and the man you’re carrying is completely knocked out.
He’s dead weight, you can’t go any faster at all. His arms around your shoulder loosens, and you feel him slipping from your grasp. You catch him, letting him lean more onto you, shifting your weight to steady yourself and make sure he doesn’t flop on the brick road.
You must’ve been stupid to not know what you were getting yourself into, muscular arms filling his sleeves up nice and a robust figure must have had you enchanted under the warm lights of the bar, must’ve faked a halo on his head and gave you ideas, this was more than what you could handle, and the worst part was you knew nothing of this man.
Funny how that's the reason you chose to let him in your arms in the first place.
You hear a voice, startling you and making you lose composure for a second, that was before you realised it was the man slung around your arm coming to wake.
“H-hey, you alright?”
Those were some stupid first words to the man you’re interested in.
All you hear was more inaudible groans coming from him, his posture slipping, making it harder for you to steady yourself. You tried your best still.
“Hands off me, devil.”
“You’re still on about that?” You huffed out in annoyance. He must still be talking about the Eldian situation in the bar, this time he decides to throw out a harsher word. A devil.
“You’re drunk. Where do you live? I’ll take you there.” you replied, tone slightly desperate from how anxious you were earlier.
“I don’t...hic.. don’t have one.”
“Pardon?”
“D-don’t have...a home.”
“Oh.”
And suddenly all the exhaustion filling your veins washed out, it felt refreshing, like those words spoken washed a tide onto you, cleansing you away of any harsh feelings from the situation, all that’s left was empathy, for those words were surprisingly relatable somewhere so close to home.
“I’ll take you to mine.”
The walk back home wasn’t as difficult now, for your thoughts didn’t eat up your mind like before. You didn’t feel alone anymore.
Even though you’re carrying this man, his warmth seeps into your skin, his weight makes him feel present. And in this narrow street where darkness looms over and no one is around, you’re glad that he’s here.
Tumblr media
Porco didn't mean to pass out, he didn't want to sleep.
It’s back again. This scene haunted him repeatedly, over and over, ate him away slowly as his movements grew lethargic, until the bags formed under his grey eyes were permanent, clouded his mind. Porco was lacking sleep from how much he chased it away, he knew it was definitely coming today.
He’s in the same terrain, back with the same group of warriors, Reiner and Bertholdt by his side, Annie straying slightly ahead from the group. Gold and tangerine peaked through the purple curtains of the sky and he could feel the tremors of the Earth before it even happens. Everything felt like reality, and it’s scary, trapped in a body but his limbs refused to move the way he wanted them to, he could only watch the scene ready itself again. The way the ground beneath him began to rumble, cracks forming like porcelain in contact with the floor, and one claw appeared before the other, the same titan always emerges. It's like the strings are tied to his limbs, him being strung around like a puppet and moving involuntarily, legs beginning to sprint to shove Reiner away. He didn't want to.
The last frame would always pan to Reiner’s face, for it’s the last thing Marcel ever saw. Reiner was scared, stupid, and useless. He couldn’t do anything at all. And that was it.
He hated Reiner ever since. But as he took in a deep breath, filling his chest with cold air, he couldn’t get it out at all, this familiar punch in his gut, bringing about heavy clouds in his mind that never drifted away, they always went along wherever he went. Marcel didn’t regret saving Reiner at all, not even for a second.
Porco always wished his brother thought twice about coming back home.
He fought away these dreams, some days he reigned victory over them, other days he did not. Today he tried to with alcohol, Porco is not usually one to let down his guard in enemy territory, just this one day he prays it won't come to him in his sleep. More so than any day, today, he wanted them gone.
But the same scene played over, he couldn't stop it at all, and now he's all alone, again.
It's all dark, and he's scared now. It always ends with him waking up in cold sweat, and he would stay by the windowsill and watch the gold peek through the night sky. You would think Porco hated sunrises that haunted him in these dreams, but it was the only thing that comforted him in the reoccurring nightmare, the warmth of it was all he had.
The scene goes pitch black, and Porco expected to be awake with terrible poundings in his head, a consequence of last night’s actions. Tonight he was greeted differently.
Porco hears the sound of a stream, it’s calm and gentle, whispering into his ear, it’s tucking his hair back, cold hands reaching to his forehead, cupping the side of his face with soft hands, fingertips icy and they're softly settling on each side of the temples, their cool forehead getting close to his own, and the contact is made.
The jewel-toned waters flowed past his body, and the tension and all worries ceased to exist, even if it was only for that moment. His furrowed brows eased and the worry lines in between them faded. His expressions softening, for it was an embrace so soft, that he could stay here for eternity.
He wakes.
Tumblr media
Your eyes are closed.
The sound of the stream from the water tap you left on could be heard here in your bedroom. Each hand of yours was cupping the sides of his face, and the heat of it sears you.
He’s burning up.
You’ve attempted to grab towels soaked with cold water, wringing the water dry till your hands hurt. Looking down at them, palms before you sore and fingertips wrinkled from the constant contact of water, you can barely even squeeze them shut without wincing, it hurt the same way as tugging on a raw rope with no gloves on. Even so, you repeatedly did this since last night, sitting by the side of the bed where he slept and having to replace the towel in short intervals due to the heat of his body soaking up the cold. You persisted in doing so, hoping his fever would die down. It didn’t.
Things weren’t looking too good. Since that small conversation you shared on the way home yesterday, he hasn’t woken up till now. Even with the cold towel on his forehead cooling him down, he’s not showing signs of improvement, eyebrows furrowed and occasionally body jolting, it didn’t look like he’s having a nice rest.
Was it wrong to bring him to your house like this? You didn’t plan to go that far with it. You didn’t even know what you were doing as the words left your lips, and now here he is in your very own home. You really didn’t plan for things to escalate like this.
The back of your hand reached up to his forehead, fingers lightly pushing away strands of loose hair from his face and thumb gently caressing the side of his face. You watched him, eyes shut and head occasionally turning away, it looks like he’s having a bad dream. He looked pitiful in this state.
Your fingers were numb from the constant wringing, and as you placed your hand onto his forehead, you couldn’t get a good estimate of the temperature well enough anymore. It came naturally to you, your other hand reaching up to hold the other side of his face, leaning in close to him. It’s just like how your mother would treat you each time you were sick, sitting by your side of the bed and coming close, her forehead against yours to check your temperature, to see if her baby’s fever has died down a little. You’re just doing the same now, eyes closed and leaning forward until the contact is made. He’s still hot, but not as much as before.
You didn’t mean for the moment to last longer than a second. It’s just a temperature check, nothing more, nothing less. But right when you felt the heat of his body, you could feel his body go weak, tense muscles relaxing to your touch and eyebrows no longer furrowed angrily like before. It was a nice feeling, it relaxed you too. Eyes opening slowly, you ended the moment, gently pulling away from him.
“Oh, hey. You’re awake.”
“H-hey,” he replied weakly, voice still husky from the alcohol effects earlier.
Porco wakes up to see you in front of him, a person this up close, hands laced around each side of his face, eyes pretty like a pair of jewels staring back at him, and he has no idea who you are, besides the fact that you looked oddly familiar.
He comes into realisation.
"How long was I out ?" His voice was desperate, a hand came up to his face, right where your hands were and struck them away without a second thought. He's not thinking straight at all. Porco just hoped it wasn't too late for the operation, hoping that he didn't miss out on a mission for Marley against the Yeagerist just because he's spent the night wasting away on personal issues and now hanging out with one of the island devils. Pieck could be waiting.
"One day. It's nighttime now..." you muttered, voice trailing off.
As your reply satisfied him, he huffed out a sigh, a relieved breath.
The operation starts in the morning. He still had a few hours. A few hours before a great operation. The most important one yet.
You thought the first feeling that would come to you as he wakes would be relief and joy, that the sick patient in your bed which you nursed to health being better would be all that you needed. The second wave you expected was embarrassment, with your face centimetres away from him as he wakes up, finding the hands of a stranger this intimate with him. It wasn’t a good first impression when he’s sober.
But all that came was annoyance, that and anger. You never expected much from all this, just a tiny bit of gratitude would be enough, anything at all would do. Was that too much to ask? But even now, as your hands were smacked away from his face being the first thing he does as he wakes, the feeling still burning fresh at the back of your hands, your heart sinks in your chest. Maybe a single word of gratitude was too much to ask for after all.
Porco takes in his surroundings, trying to understand even just a little of the current situation. Enemy territory? It shouldn’t look so cosy, him being tucked in nice in a comfortable bed and the lights were dim, having a small lamp by your bed to illuminate the room. It takes him a while to recognize the sound of the river steam from his dream, your water tap flowing in the background, was that the sound that comforted him so nice as he wakes?
There’s a basin at your nightstand, a tub filled with cold water and cloth inside soaking it. He reached his arms out of the blankets to reach up to his forehead, the cool of it was unfamiliar compared to the heat he’s feeling surging through his body. He looks back at you, familiar cold fingers that stroked his hair, and he realises the action you did earlier. You must’ve been going back and forth with replacing towels to calm his fever, not getting a wink of sleep to care for him.
He sees you by his side, sitting at the edge of the bed, as far as you could sit without falling off and your head turned away from him. Your hands played into their habit when anger strikes, arms crossed against your chest, fingertips gripping onto the fabric of your shirt, holding some of in your weakly clenched fist. Some of your hair falls to the sides of your face, creating a slight curtain preventing him from seeing your expressions, and although not helpful for him, it worked as temporary hiding for you, to sort out your feelings at least.
Maybe it was because you haven’t got a wink of sleep, your fatigue hitting its peak and your back aching and sore from not getting any rest at all. You’re exhausted, eyelids droopy that all you could do to stay awake, to stay sane right now was this little bit of pain to keep you thinking. As your palms held the fabric between them with closed fists, the raw skin on your palms stung, like tiny needles were prickling on them, they’re rubbed raw. You clenched your grasp harder, convincing yourself it’s the only reason you’re feeling like this, the reason why you feel the tears are welling up in your eyes and this sick feeling in your gut growing.
The pain is the only reason you’re feeling like this, you idiot.
You repeatedly convinced yourself that to wash this feeling away.
Porco’s looking at you, your grip tightening onto cloth, hands trembling as you do so yet you still claw them tighter. He recognized that feeling all too well, looking back down at his own calloused palms from relentless training. It hit him, realising how your nimble hands weren't getting a break throughout the night, wringing the cloth to calm his fever, again, and again, and again, bearing it all without a complaint, this was all for him, just for him to feel better, if only for a moment before you had to go back and exchange another one.
It was all you wanted, for him to feel better. It hit him hard that the devils living here on Paradis Island could act better than humans in Marley.
Those very hands were the ones so cool to the touch from being soaked in icy water, reaching to his face, caressing his skin like silk, forehead against his and calming him down, welcoming him back to reality with a feeling so calm he could never imagine it hours ago, especially not today. How grateful was he to have you around? To have you bring him out of that nightmare.
“Thank you.”
His voice broke you free from your thoughts, it’s gentle this time, no more name callings like ‘Eldian’ or the ‘devil’, they all seemed to have faded out. surprising you. You lifted your head, eyes widened and turned to face him.
He’s seated up on the bed, and he’s more relaxed, more pulled together now. He’s not like the soldier you met hours ago, brimmed with sorrow and drinking away like it was his last night, nor was he the person groggy on the streets, the one with a clenched jaw and beaded sweat as he struggled with a nightmare, a state that you pitied. A gentle smile laced his face, there’s a hint of sadness to it, but grateful.
It made all of this worthwhile, a full day and a full night's worth of efforts, made it worth it to get this far.
The swelling feeling in your chest faded out, breath held in unknowingly came out with a light huff. Tears in your eyes which you’ve been keeping in no longer hard to fight back and clenched fists opening up. Just like that, with those two words, the tension built up in your shoulders, your core, they’re all washed away.
“It’s not much, d-dont worry about it…” your thumbs are playing a gentle wrestle, you never knew what to do with them in situations like this.
“No, really, thank you.” he replied, this time more reassuringly, trying to make his words get to you. He really hope they did.
They did.
For you felt like everything was worth it, to hear those words.
You responded with the same kind smile he has.
“By the way, is this your house?” he asked.
“Yeah, I live here,”
“Alone?”
“Alone.”
You turn to look him in the eye, his expression tried to hide it, but that little bit of sadness remained unconcealed. You didn’t blame him, for it was the same reaction you gave when he spoke those slurred words on the way home. It hit way too close to home.
“What’s your name?”
“Oh. Porco. Poco Galliard.” he responded, and suddenly a little hint of boyish awkwardness came into the frame, breaking the mild tension from the previous subject. He’s reaching his hands up to rub the back of his neck. It was refreshing to see what you thought was a stern man act this way, he’s acting normal for his age now.
“What’s yours?” Porco asked, tilting slightly. When you responded to him, name leaving your lips, another gentle smile formed on his face.
“Nice to meet you, _____.”
You responded with a smile matching his.
“Oh right, do you have any medicine? Your hands…” his voice quiet at the end of his words, head tilting to glance at your fingers.
Porco cleared his voice again and then spoke, this time more assuringly.
“I’ll get them for you, just tell me where it is.” He pulls the blanket away, feet touching the ground and standing up a little too fast for his current state, the dizziness hits him hard, causing him to fumble, struggling to keep his balance. You stood up and held onto his arm, helping him to get back to the bed.
“Hey, it’s ok. I’ll get it and bring it over, okay?”
Porco responded with a nod, and just with those words you left to get some medicine. You weren’t sure if you even had any in this house, he watches as you took in your bottom lip between your teeth, wrecking your brain as you left to get some.
Is it alright for him to be like this?
Marcel’s death anniversary was today, and he’s hours away from Marley’s operation in retrieving the Founding Titan. He can’t think straight at all, with the effect of sleep wearing away and the light headache beginning to kick in.
Just a few hours, just for these few hours spent here would be okay, wouldn’t it?
Porco gets pulled away from his thoughts as you knock on the door, coming in with a small box of what he assumed was medicine. You welcomed yourself in and made your way to his side of the bed again.
“Give it here, I’ll help.”
You looked back at him, smile gentle and grey eyes bright now. His own calloused palms reached out to the box placed on the sheets, opening it up to examine which medicines to use.
“Here, this one,” Porco said as he pulled out a glass bottle, the chartreuse coloured liquid swirled around inside, you never even knew you had it.
“I can do it myself, hold on.” you pulled out some cotton balls from the box, fingers fumbling as you do so.
“Give me your hands, I’ll do it.” he extended his palm before you, beefy palms that could hold so much warmth and comfort, they’re all calloused now.
You extended your hand without a retort.
Watching him, the way he applies the medicine on, gently pouring it on and dabbing it onto your wounds, occasionally lifting his head to check if he’s hurting you. You’re grateful for it, but at the same time you realised, he must’ve done it himself over and over, to know which parts would hurt you, those experienced hands so used to their peeled skin are the same ones who could apply it this proper, bandaging your arms so they wouldn’t hurt or it wouldn’t restrain you in any way. He’s been through a lot as well. That’s for sure.
Another gentle wind, cold due to the liquid on your palms. Porco blew on your medicined hand as he held them softly in his own, before wrapping layers on bandage like he did to your other hand.
“Okay, I’m done.” hands still grabbing your wrists, he places them down gently onto the sheets, head coming up to look back at you.
Your cheeks were hot, must be the fatigue, once again, you blamed the fact that you didn’t have a wink of sleep, for your heart was fluttering with just these little acts. It felt the same way as a hand reaching up to caress your hair until you’re all better. The warmth blossomed in your chest, spreading it throughout your body.
You’ve met this man in a bitter state, but right now as he’s helping you, gentle arms extended and caressing your fingers, it felt good, to be the one being taken care of, it felt nice not to feel alone.
“Are you tired? You should get some rest too.” Porco’s words waked you from your trance.
“Yeah… I should.” That was when you realised he’s still on your bed, you weren’t prepared for any guests at all, your bed being your only rest spot.
“I’ll take a rest at the sofa, I’ll be right outside if you need me, alright?”
His vision is still blurry from the giddy state he’s in, it’s all a haze, making him feel all foggy and confused in this heavy heart, he’s never been in a headspace like this, but all he knows is that it makes his heart ache to see you walk those steps away, each step for you felt like walking on knives for him. Instincts took over his limbs, his thoughts, heart over mind, arm reaching out to grip onto yours softly. The cool of your skin calmed his mind once more, grey clouds above him drifted away and he could see the azure stream again, everlasting and clear. It hits him hard, not in the way he wakes in cold sweat at night but a thud in the heart as he realises his actions, pink flushes visible on his cheeks and suddenly he’s grateful for the warm light by your nightstand, covering up for him.
He’s here for a mission, not to mess with love. A warrior's good at conquering battles, the last four years were full of battles, but no experience taught him how to conquer a war like this, not when he's already surrendered himself to you. Porco drew a deep breath and allowed the words to flow out. They came as naturally to him as a river flows in the direction it takes.
“Stay, please? ”
He knows with this one touch that he would regret this instance later, but he knows better that a deeper regret would sink in if he didn’t hold on to this feeling. Just this one night he won’t be a warrior, he’ll be human, he’ll be a human in those eyes, to a stranger that feels like home.
He hears silence, heart pounding in a deafening volume he doesn’t dare to peek up, head sinking ready to dismiss the next frame of this scene if it all went wrong. Porco shut his eyes and waits for your voice to soothe him, hopefully, you'll feel the same way he does, and all this would be worth it.
“Okay.”
His grip was soft, but it came with enough reassurance for you to know he was genuine. He wanted you here. Fingers wrapped around your wrist and the warmth is practically branding onto your skin,
You took a seat at the side of your bed and turned to meet Porco in the eye.
“Will you feel better with me here?”
Porco gave you a nod, his hands reaching out to yours, grabbing them softly into his palms, looking back up to meet your gaze. He must be staring at you stupid, but he didn’t care, thumb gently tracing shapes onto the back of your hand as he stares into your jewelled eyes. It calms him, somehow. He can’t describe the feeling at all, but just looking at you soothes his mind, makes the dark clouds fade away and the haunting nightmares seem like they never existed.
“Can I … make you feel better?”
“Yeah.”
You lean in for a kiss, and he invites you into his embrace. Your hand creeps up to his shoulder, gripping onto the fabric of his shirt lightly, lips clashing as you gave in to his touches.
It's warm. And it's an unfamiliar feeling. No one you've been with makes you feel so welcomed like this. You knew he was different from the first look on the bar, eager, passionate, daring, kisses so magnetic and he pulls you in deeper into the feeling. Porco's hand was on your head, drifting his fingers along your hair, allowing them to flow between his fingertips.
His lips parted and the tip of his tongue glides by your bottom lip, seeking permission to kiss you better. You obliged, a tiny chuckle escaping your lips and you can feel a huff from him. Eyebrows furrowed again but not in the same angry way they were in the bar, it's an eased expression, muscles relaxing to your touches. The corner of your lips curled from his actions towards you, and he responds with a playful bite on your bottom lip.
"Ow."
"My bad." a light wind blew against your cheeks as he chuckled.
Porco didn't know what did it for him. Was it the way you eased up to him, a mischievous side he's just spotted now that you've opened up? Or it could be the way he felt close to you, it was something he couldn’t put a finger on, he just knew you felt right to his touches. You brought in the same feeling as when everything was okay, it was a refreshing feeling.
Hair beautiful as he played with it with his fingertips, your palm pressed on his chest, tugging on his shirt lightly and pulling fabric into your clenches as your tongues danced at your bottom lips. He feels the pressure of your palms, the heat of your skin branding onto his chest, the same hands he wishes to kiss until they feel all better and well again.
Porco pulls you in deeper into his embrace, his arms coming to wrap around your waist as he invites you onto his lap where he sat against the wall, kiss unbroken all the while he does so. Your knees are on the bed, legs feeling the warmth of the soft sheets and thighs brushing against his leg as you sat on his lap, body pressing closer to feel more of him.
He pulls away from your kiss, breath heavy and you can feel his chest heave as he catches his breath. From this position you’re seating, you’re taller than him, even if just a little. Your face centimetres away from him and your hair falls to the side, tickling his cheeks.
“Take it off, Porco.” You tug at the fabric at his chest lightly.
Porco nods his head, leaning his body back a little for some space in between, two hands reaching for the collar of his white shirt and begins unbuttoning the topmost button there. You’re impatient, you just wanted to feel all of him, help him feel better, just indulge in the moment with nothing else in mind.
Your bandaged hands reach up to help him unbutton the remaining buttons, the both of you chuckling slightly at each other’s impatience.
Porco unhooks the final button and takes the shirt off, one sleeve and then the other.
“There we go,” he says, a light huff escapes his lips, tickling your skin, making you giggle.
“You too, _____” Porco reaches to the bottom hem of your shirt, you responded by lifting your arms up for him, allowing him to lift your shirt off your body. He’s greeted with your hair messy on your face, loose strands lightly falling out of place. Your hand loses contact with his body, reaching up to comb a swift move, removing the stray strands off your face. Porco just looks at you in awe, your smooth skin, your cleavage showing between your bra, shoulders, collarbone, neck, every part of you just pretty beyond his imagination.
You look at his face, he’s dumbstruck, it’s almost as though he’s never seen a girl naked. You hid your giggle, lips unable to hold it in as they curve up to his reaction. He’s blushing again. It’s so cute, to see him this way.
Your hands reach up, cupping each side of his face, fingers tracing his jaw, lifting his head up slightly as you lift your body to meet his gaze below. Your face was now millimetres away from him, just so so close to your touch, grey eyes looking directly into yours in the dim lights.
Porco tilts his head, forehead coming into contact with yours with a light clunk, the same way you did as you checked his temperature, making you both giggle.
Seeing him laugh out loud like this, to his heart’s content made you realise something. It wasn’t a huge thought, but it still did hit you in the heart. Maybe the reason you helped him this much, from the bar, the walk home, down to nursing him to health was for this. To cleanse his bitterness away, to see him laugh from the bottom of his heart. Maybe that was the pull you felt at the bar table. Another smile forms on your lips, a bright one matching his.
His arms around your waist tightens, pulling you close into another passionate kiss. His hands are hot on your back, thumbs rubbing small circles against the dimples at the small of your back, making you weak in the knees, sinking into his touches.
The makeout session felt like hours, you have absolutely no grasp of time as you feel his warm tongue playing with you, soft pink lips pressing against yours. The warm tingle in your core is hard to neglect now, for it’s not dying down at all, just growing, yearning for more of his touches than just this.
“Porco, I-I want you.”
“I want to feel more of you, too.”
He kisses you more aggressively, the hands around you loosening as he reaches upwards to unclasp your bra, and you let out a soft mewl as he does so.
Pulling away, he’s looking at you, admiring your breasts, how soft they look to the touch. Hands come from your back quickly to fondle them, the warmth of his breath tickling your skin as he leans closer to your chest.
“You’re beautiful, so so beautiful.”
His body is so close to yours, so close you can feel his voice hollowing out in his chest as he speaks. A lick on your nipple causes you to moan aloud. Wet tongue against your sensitive skin has you throwing your head back, knees no longer able to support yourself upright as your thighs sink onto his lap.
He takes one of your breasts into his mouth, fingers playing with your bud on the other boob, sweet moans began pouring out your lips, and he’s getting drunk on it all. Your grip on the sheets tightens as he continues playing with your breasts.
Once Porco was satisfied, lips not leaving your breast, the other one traveled down your body, tracing his fingers down the line of your chest, abdomen, passing your belly button, to underneath your skirt, beginning to rub on the soaked fabric of your panties. You yelp to his touch, body leaning to him and head buried at his neck.
“Feels good?” he asks, breath shaky.
“Mm, i-it does.”
“Wanna make you feel better. Better ‘till you can’t think.”
“O-okay.” You could barely respond, his words blooming butterflies in your stomach as they fluttered violently, your pussy pulsating to his touch, so sensitive and juices flowing.
Once your words reach him, his fingers pull away the fabric of your panties to the side, pushing a finger into your tight cunt, and then another one, making your back arch, chest to chest as you moan onto his neck, feeding him your sweet moans right near his ear.
He enters you, fingers going in and out of your cunt sloppily, making your mind go blank. Right now, you’re feeling so giddy, just want to feel more of him, want him inside you. Your arms lift up from the sheets and you wrap them around his neck.
“Porco, I want you to feel you, too. Want you to feel better.”
How could he deny you in this state? Words alluring and lips pursed together, you melting to his touches. He’s so hard right now, he wants you too. He can feel his cock pulsate in his pants as you moan right into his ear, as you clench around his fingers deep inside you.
He gives you a nod.
You help each other undress, him stripping away your panties and you remove his trousers and then his boxers.
You can’t help but stare, the veins of his dick protruding and the girth of it thick. It would be hard to take. You swallow down a gulp.
Porco seemed to know what was running through your mind, he taps on his lap, inviting you to sit on him with a welcoming smile.
“We’ll go slow, okay?” he speaks softly. You reply with a nod and crawled up to his lap.
“Yeah, please.” A chuckle leaves his lips as you say those words.
Porco has his hands wrapped around his cock, a thumb on the tip of it as he holds it against your entrance,
“Don’t rush yourself, take it slowly, kay’?”
You give him a nod, followed by a gentle smile and begin to sink down on his cock.
Knees locking up from the pressure, your breath heaves as you take in his cock, inch by inch, lowering yourself down as he rubs small circles on your thighs to make you relax. He can feel you pulsating, fingernails digging into his back as moans consecutively left your lips.
“Go slow, fuck.” Porco’s words end breathily as he feels you take up the last inch of him, his cock fully inside you and the tightness of it all makes him go crazy.
“I-I got it,” you responded with a cheeky grin, voice just as breathy as his. You haven’t had sex in such a long time, and it’s taking every bit of you to keep composed when the feeling stings you, with him so deep inside you like this. The feeling of him entering itself was close enough to bring you to the edge.
“Easyy, babe.” he laughs lightly.
You took your time to catch your breath, head buried in his neck. When you’ve adjusted to the feeling of him inside of you, you came up to meet his gaze, he gives you a reassuring smile, and with that, you begin to lift yourself from his cock before lowering and sheathing him fully into you. A tiny grunt leaves his lips as you do so.
Porco’s hands reach up from your thighs to hold onto the sides of your waist as you move up and down his cock, slowly gaining momentum as you get lost in the feeling. Your lips finds his amid this heat, crashing onto him and he’s no longer able to hold himself back, not with you taking him so well like this. Porco begins lifting his hips, thrusting in and out of you. You let out a moan in surprise into his mouth, and he persisted in kissing you sweetly, making you drunk in the feeling of it all.
The ache in your core grew and you felt yourself reaching over the edge each time Porco bucked his hips against yours, more moans escaping your lips.
“F-fuck, I’m gonna, gonna- “
“Shh, I know. Me too.” Porco replied breathily, hands at your waist became arms wrapped around you, pulling your body closer to his. He began speeding up his thrusts, and your kisses shared grew sloppier, saliva dripping down your chin. You both looked messy in this state. Your head found its way back to Porco’s neck and your moans became more frequent as he continued fucking you. With a final thrust, he bucked into you, cock reaching deep inside you, feeling the warmth of his seed filling you up.
The sensations were enough to make you go over the edge. The feeling in the pit of your stomach snaps, your orgasm reaching its peak as you moan into his neck, fingernails digging into his back.
The both of you took your time in catching your breaths, allowing the waves of pleasure to wash over. You lifted your head to meet his gaze once more. His eyes were closed, feeling every bit of this bliss and indulging in this moment.
“Porco,”
His eyes opened slowly to meet yours, and a kind smile forms on his lips. Your expressions matched along to his.
“I love you, Porco.”
There was no response.
You weren’t sure if you were overthinking it, but his smile suddenly changed, the curve of his lips was all the same, but it looked bittersweet now. You had no idea why.
He reaches a hand up to caress the back of your hair, petting your head gently and hand going over your hair. He pushes it gently, letting your head press against his chest. It’s intimate, you can feel every heave of his chest, his heartbeat.
“Porco, what are you-”
“Let’s...stay like this for a bit, okay?”
“O-okay.”
Every little heartbeat, his warmth, you can feel it. You’re beyond close to him and his hand strokes your hair. All of it feels so nice, you might be enjoying it too much, but you didn’t care at all. You let yourself go to this feeling, for even if it lasted only for a moment, you want to savour every bit of it before it fades away.
You both stay like this for a while, before Porco slowly leans back, moving away. You look up to meet his gaze.
“Everything okay?”
“Yeah, I’ll go...get dressed,” he replies, voice slightly shaky, and leaves to pick up his clothes on the floor.
For a minute, you almost forgot about those three words you said, but it came so naturally to you, you didn’t regret it at all.
When you said I love you, he never said it back.
But as you reached to stroke some of your hair to play with it in your hand, you noticed a slight dampness, and smiled.
You hoped that was the answer he’s reciprocating to you.
“I’m done changing,” Porco said, looking back over to you.
“I need to go to the bathroom, I’ll be back in a minute, ‘kay?”
Porco gives you a nod and drops onto the bed.
He’s tired, not just from sex but from everything that has happened since the bar, maybe even since he stepped foot in Paradis Island, in enemy territory. He never expected anything like this.
His eyelids droop heavily, vision growing blurry as he starts seeing double. It was probably time to get a little rest, with the bed so warm and comfy.
The sound of water flushing was what you could hear behind you as you walked away from the bathroom, feet tiptoeing back to the bed to give him a lil’ fright. Who knows what weird expression he would give you this time? You snuck up to the door and opened it in one swift motion. Before the words left your lips, you managed to catch them in between your tongue, right in time before they came out.
What you were greeted with was Porco lying on the bed, soundly asleep, with light snores coming from his direction.
You giggled at this sight, making your way over quietly to adjust him nicely, making some room at the side of the bed for you. It was nice to see him like this, it was kinda cute, he looked like a baby. Your hands reached up to his face, stroking his hair, thumb gently caressing his cheek. It was nice especially after how rough his night was when he was sick, tossing his head and expression tense from a nightmare. He slept soundly that night, opposed to the fitful slumber the night before.
Unbeknownst to you, Porco’s never slept this soundly since Marcel left home 9 years ago.
For the first time in years, he felt like he’s back home.
You took a spot next to him and accompanied him to sleep.
Tumblr media
Porco didn’t want to leave, watching you sleep soundly next to him, hands laid softly before your face with bandages now loose around them. He lets out a sigh. You looked so peaceful this way, finally getting some rest after two long nights.
He reaches for the glass bottle filled with green liquid, pulling a cotton ball from the bunch as he begins unwrapping your bandages slightly, his heart sinking with each pull revealing your peeling hands.
Dabbing the medicine as gently as he could, he watches you sleep soundly, and his heart sinks at the thought of having to go to war later. He wanted to stay, but Marley needs him.
How could he betray them? Especially after earning the power of the Jaw Titan. Marcel would be proud of him, wouldn’t he?
Lifting your hands up, he wraps a new layer of bandage over them, making sure not to hurt you at all, and when everything was laced up and he no longer had a reason to stay, Porco's heart felt heavy.
Wouldn’t it be nice to stay home?
Porco held your hands gently into his palms, raising them up and kissed one hand, and then the other.
He still didn’t want to go.
Before the moment faded, he wanted to feel the way you made him feel once more. Home.
Your hands were let down softly into the sheets, and Porco leaned in to kiss your forehead once more, and then let his forehead clunk lightly onto yours, to feel you, to feel that cool stream flow past his veins that calmed him from the storm.
He envisions the jewel-toned waters again, upon contact with your skin, remembering the scenery of it all, the way you woke him up from recurring horrors.
He wished he could stay forever.
But he can’t.
And so he didn’t.
With that, he creeps up to the door and leaves, closing it silently without turning back.
For with that, Porco felt like he could die with no regrets now.
Tumblr media
You woke up to the sight of dark, chilly blues shining through the narrow window and illuminating the room in a navy hue. Feet cold from peeking through the sheets, fingers warm from the bandages on your hands. You could still feel his soft touches on your fingertips, the gentle dabs of medicine on them and wrapped, keeping the feeling in you.
Looking in front of you, the bed is empty, it’s cold, the space beside you now void as you sleep near the edge of the mattress. You're all alone again.
He left.
Without a single word, just like that, he’s gone.
Your mind is a mess, and you sat up, scurrying around and lifting the blankets as if he would be there if you do so. You wanted something, anything, a note, a sign, a trace of what’s left. Nothing. It’s all void.
Your chest hurts, it feels like your heart is beating out of your chest, pounding against the walls as bandaged hands reach up to grasp the cloth of your shirt, skin stinging from the movement. High pitch frequency rings in your ear, it’s deafening, you can’t think straight at all.
Betrayal hurts. But it hurts more for the fact you know he owes you nothing. He doesn’t owe you an explanation at all. You truly wished you got one, a word, a promise. A promise that he’ll return. To fill your hollow chest with the butterflies he sent your way, and you would cradle him in your arms, hand reaching up to play with his hair and tell him everything was alright, that he’s going to be okay. That you both were going to be okay.
There was nothing left from him.
It hurts, a sick punch to your gut, especially for believing everything was worth it, all that effort and not a wink of sleep was worth it, that letting him into your heart was worth it. You let him in, only for him to hurt you so.
You felt broken, stirring of sobs flutter in your rib cage, the hot rush of tears to your eyes
You wanted a life, a family, to not feel alone in each other’s arms. To heal.
Tears flow in jagged paths trickling down to your chin, you must look crazy right now.
But it hurts knowing that this love could almost work.
And right now you suddenly wished you settled with that unrequited crush at the bar.
For you rather settle for an unrequited love, than an almost that you had to fade out.
Was it even almost now? Doubt began flowing in, plaguing your mind, your core. Did he treat it all as a one night stand and nothing else, the medicine, was it all poison to feed the thoughts in your mind? That he never wanted anything more but your body?
So many questions with no answers to come with them.
They’re so loud, playing in your head. Your mother’s words echoed among them.
You shouldn’t have peeked. Mother was right.
For even if the other side was Eden, even if it was more beautiful than you could possibly imagine.
It was never yours to stay.
Your tears drown out thoughts, choked sobs pent up in your chest released as you clenched hard onto the sheets, fingers stinging more each time you tighten your grasp, and yet you tighten them more. You didn’t realise how much time had passed until your throat ran dry, till the navy hue in the room turned gold.
You made your way outside your house, grabbing a lone stool from your porch and watched as sunlight began to stain the sky with warm hues. The warmth never reached you, for it wasn’t like last night at all. Wasn’t like the way you were buried in his chest. You were so sure he felt the same way.
Maybe you got it all twisted up. Maybe you’re just a devil in his eyes.
You still wanted him though. More badly than you could ever imagine from that one glance at the bar.
The sun rose steadily, bringing light with it, and in the midst of this darkness looming over you, the light of it brought you out of that dark alleyway.
You tried to steady the choking in your chest, lifting your head to watch the purple hues fade out, watching gold paint the sky and bring warmth to you, feeling it on your skin as the rays hit. Your clenched fists loosened, and for the first time this morning, you’re thinking straight again.
Calming your breathing slowly, you watched every bit of this sunrise painting. You wished you could be watching this scenery with him. It’s too beautiful to let it go to waste like this.
You knew you had to forget about this man, cleanse him away from your memories and teach yourself to lose this desire you gained 1 night ago.
Blinking away the tears, you allowed your heart to think of him one last time before letting this fade away.
“Porco, I hope you’re home.”

Tumblr media
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You and Bucky shared an apartment above the recordshop you both worked in. Your aunt was the owner of both, so it was a fairly good payment, and a fairly good apartment for a cheap price. It was a bright and big apartment with two bedrooms, so your decided to rent it out, all while searching for a helper to the shop downstairs. When Bucky came in applying for the job, you asked out of joke if he needs a place to live since you had seen around 5 people already and none of them felt right. His eyes lit up as he said he is in fact looking for a place. Since he was fitting for a job, and looked like a decent guy, you congratulated him on his new job, and asked if he wants to see the place today. You still had one and a half hour to close, but after it you would gladly show him the apartment.
He had nothing better to do, so he agreed to it, feeling happy about having a job he might actually like and a coworker he might actually will get along with.
-Do you drink coffee? I was thinking of getting one in the meantime. My friend works close by, and they make the best coffee in town. - He asked.
-I could go for one thank you - you smiled at him - iced cold-brew, no sugar, i'm sweet enough.. - you said with a smile.
He couldn't help but smile back at the joke. When he arrived at the café, he saw his friend Steve flirting with a girl whom he could visibly see trembling just cause he talked to her. Steve always had his way with girls, ever since the serum of course. After he broke up with Peggy, it was mostly just hookups, never finding a girl worth keeping around. Not as if they werent kind, pretty or good to him, it just never felt right. Bucky smiled at his friend, Steve immediately shifted his gaze from the girl, to a very happy Bucky.
-Did you get the job?
-Better.. I got the job, and she has a room for rent which i'll see tonight.
-Wow Bucky, i didn't know you were even better then i am.. sooo how does she look? - asked Steve with a slight wiggle of his eyebrows. He wanted Bucky to get a girl since ages and hearing this, his mind immediately ventured there.
-5'7, ginger, green eyes, freckles, curvy just the right places. why?
-Nothing Buck.. nothing.. - Steve said smirking at his friend.. Bucky never realized when he liked a girl, so he never really acted on it. He last had a woman back in the 40's.
-Sooo i know you didn't come to have chat with me, one black coffee and.. ?
-ah, iced cold-brew, no sugar..
After paying for the coffee, he hurried back to the shop, hoping to get to know his coworker a little bit better.
You thanked him for the coffee, and when you tried to pay, he refused.
-Next round's mine then. - You smiled at him with your 1000 watt smile, which again he couldn't help but smile back at.
-So tell me about you Bucky, what do you do in your freetime?
-Nothing really, just reading, spending time with my friends, kind of thats it.. I have a boring life really. What about you?
-Well, i work here, then i go home and listen to music, cook, god i love to cook, thats a big pro for the apartment.. just saying. - you said with a playful wink. - besides that nothing much. Sometimes i go to a nearby bar with my friends maybe concerts and thats it.
-I like washing dishes if that helps with the application for the room. - he said with a shy laugh which made your heart skip a beat.
- It sure does.. Do you leave your stuff around?
-No i'm a tidy person.. thank you very much. - he said cockily (just for the sake of being funny really).
-Okay okay, if you like it you can have the room, just promise to tell if you bring up a girl so i can leave. The walls are kind of thin.
-It's okay, i don't really...
-Oh um i'm sorry, i didn't meant to intrude, it just something i would really like everyone to add to their rental contracts. - you chuckled embarassed.
-Noo no, it's okay, i'm not embarassed by it. I guess i don't want hook ups, if one day there's someone i'll tell in advance.
-yea me too, i promise. If you end up renting it anyway haha. on that note it's time to close so i can show the room in a min.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you opened the door to the apartment Buckyquietly took in it all. It was really bright, white walls with paintings all over the walls, plants in every corner or shelf you can put one on, a comfy looking mustard couch, aztec-y rug under the coffeetable, and a wall fully shelved, filled with books and little trinkets, it looked like a home he never had a chance to have. The livingroom had an american kitchen on the side, island in the middle of the kitchen area, it was white, and blue which reminded him of greece, down the hallway you showed him the bathroom which of course had a lot of plants that liked the atmosphere of a bathroom, a shower in the corner and a bathtub under the window. You then showed the empty room he could rent out. It only had a shelf and a wardrobe, and a queen sized bed. No decorations, no signs of anybody ever living there. You then pointed to the room the opposit of what could possibly be Bucky's in the future, saying that is yours. You didn't show your room, he wasn't gonna go in there anyway, and showing your most private space on the first day didn't seem like a good idea either. You then invited him out to the balcony, watching the setting sun, smoking a cigarette.
-So thats about it, what do you think?
-I really like it, and i mean.. my workplace is pretty close so thats a plus, also you said something about cooking all the time.. sooo if it's alright with you i would love to rent it out.
-It's settled then roomie. I'll give you the keys, you can move in whenever you want to. Tomorrow we are closed, so maybe that would be ideal.
-Yea, then tomorrow it is then. I'll ask my friend to help, then we can maybe hang a bit if you're free.
-Sure, i have nothing planned, and it's good to know who i'll be living with. - you said with a smile.
Before closing the door, you said your goodbyes, and you realized what did you just do, after he wished you good night with a killer halfsmile that almost had your knees buckle. You just agreed to living together with possibly the most handsome man you've ever seen who is also your new coworker, so you will basically spend most of your time with him.. Guess we'll see how this goes you thought to yourself.
Morning came soon enough, you were sitting out on the balcony when you saw Bucky arrive with a very tall, just as handsome man, carrying boxes of books, and bags of clothing. Bucky looked up at the balcony, waving towards you, you waved back, then moved to open the front door before going back out to the balcony, resuming your coffee and smoke.
When they finished bringing all Bucky's stuff in, it was already midday, so you decided you'd order pizza for all of you, as in like a welcome present.
-Hey guys, i'm thinking of ordering pizza, what kind would you like?
-Oh (y/n) you don't have to. - said Bucky, earning a smirk from Steve as he looked back and forth between you two.
- Noo i insist, today won't be the day i'll start to slowly kill you with my cooking. - you said giggling a bit.
- Whatever's fine peach. - said Steve with a wink, that you decided was just out of friendlyness. You didn't veen knew his name, and he seemed like a lady's man anyways. Not really your type no matter how handsome and muscular he is.
- Steve, by the way, nice to meet you.
-(Y/n), likewise. - you shook his hand.
When the pizzas arrived you called them to the kitchen, listening to all their shared stories from their early years. They seemed like really close friends, and genuinely good people. You had a really great time. It was nearly 9 pm when Steve left, for saving a dame from dying cause of boredom he said. You and Bucky chuckled, then he let him out, closing the door, locking it for the night.
-I guess i have some packing to do, so.. good night (y/n).
-Good night Bucky, if you need anything just knock. - you said with a smile, and he couldn't help but smile back. He felt at peace. He had Steve, now he had a job, and a room to make a home of, and you as a new addition. You were so kind, so eager to help if he needed anything, he loved how the scent of raspberries and flowers lingered in the apartment mixed with coffee and cigarette smoke. It seemed to have a calming effect on him.
You heard a soft knock half an hour later. WHen you opened the door you saw a smiling Bucky, awkwardly scratching the back of his head.
- Hey, um.. sorry. I forgot i didn't bring a blanket, could i borrow one until i get my own?
-Yea sure, i'll get one in a min. - You said, leaving the door open, letting him see a bit of "you" while you were searching for your spare blanket in your wardrobe. The room really was you. White, with mustardy curtains on the window, plants everywhere, books piled up here and there, a really comfy looking bed, pictures of you and your friends on the walls. And damn, your room smelled even more like you. If he wouldn't pay attention your scent would lure him into your room and never let him leave he thought.
-There you go. - you handed him the blanket smiling.
-Thank you very much.
Then he stood there for a moment drinking in the sight of you in front of him. You were wearing an oversized tshirt, that ended just around the middle of your thighs, hair in a messy bun, no makeup. He could swear he thought you were pretty before, but seeing you as you were made him fancy you even more.
With a small smile you told him goodnight again, then closed the door in his face.
You could hear his little laugh on the other side of the door, then his door closing. For the first time in months he didn't wake up in the middle of the night, and he didn't had a nightmare either. He was afraid he would, and then he would wake you up with his screaming, but looks like the blanket which smelled just like you calmed him enough.
After waking up because the rays of sunshine on his face, he smiled to himself guess i'll wait with getting my own blanket then...
