Huwumi angst
Mirko: You're going to leave her?, why?
She gave him a concerning stare, eagered to know why
Hawks: It's not that I wanted too..I have too, she can't get involved in my work, It's too dangerous
Mirko: What about your promises?
Hawks: I'll take care of the consequences, I'm sure she can find someone better than me.
He said again, little does he know..that Fuyumi is right behind the wall listening to them, looks like its not a surprise no more.

DAY 5: TIME TRAVELED
Day 4 ------- Day 6
PLAYLIST
Tumblr media
When I heard this song I could only think of the Hawks from Alone Together this strawberrydaifuku fanfic. To sum it up. Fuyumi takes a trip to the past 3 years ago due to a Quirk that affected her, where she was holding Keigo's hand, so by traveling to the past she is linked to the 22-year-old Hawks. Obviously, this Hawks doesn't know her. The story is told from Keigo's perspective, wondering how she is such a lovely woman who clearly knows more about him than he himself ended up being her mate.
The story hasn't been continued, but it has such a lovely approach and perspective that I've read its single chapter several times to fall in love with it so much.

Imagination - Shawn Mendes
2:09 ────⊙─────── 3:38 ↻      ◁  ɪɪ  ▷     ↺
Oh, there she goes again
Every morning is the same
You walk on by my house
I wanna call out your name
I wanna tell you how beautiful you are
From where I'm standing
You got me thinking
What we could because
I keep craving, craving
You don't know it, but it's true
Can't get my mouth to say the words
They wanna say to you
This is typical of love
Can't wait anymore
Won't wait I need to tell you
How I feel when I see us together forever
The 22-year-old Hawks has a lot on his plate. He is still the number 3 hero and the Commission has him completely tied down, he is resigned that his life will always be like this. So he does his job like a machine denying himself all kinds of things in order to be that hero they trained, hoping to live up to expectations.
Then, out of nowhere (literally), a charming girl appears in his life, who apparently became someone very important to him in the future. Someone who even entrusted her name to him. He sees her walk past her apartment, so cute and beautiful, but he can't touch her, can't get close to her, because she's in love with the person he is in the future, whoever that guy is. What kind of scheming did he do for such a kind person like Fuyumi to decide that he was worthy of her love?
But Fuyumi still cares about him and feels so comfortable around her, is he imagining that warmth in her eyes? Does she even appreciate the puppet she is right now? How is it possible? How could someone become worthy to be loved with her?
He is a little envious of his version of the future, who can have her, while he can only appreciate her at times and can't go looking for her, because the person she currently is doesn't love him.
Sometimes, he closes his eyes and imagines that future in which she comes, that future where they are together, where they live together and he hopes that in the future he will not be a bastard who hurts her, he hopes that the person he is in the future take care of Fuyumi and love her very much, because something in him must be worth it for a person like Fuyumi to be with him, right?
When he is with her, and sees that his future has not changed, that even if they cannot be together right now, they will still be together in the future, then his future, which was always sordid and gray, looks more attractive and hopeful, because she is with him.

The Easy Road
The Easy Road by Stratagem
“Please, don't leave us here! What did we do wrong? Why do you hate us?!”
Fumikage sighed. “You're being theatrical. I obviously don't hate you.”
“You do, you hate us, you're leaving us. I promise I'll be good, I won't do anything bad ever, just don't leave us with him. He's so boring!”
“You're never going to keep that promise, and you're making Mr. Iida feel bad.”
“No, Tai, I'm making Uncle Tokoyami feel bad for giving us away.”
Iida frowned. “That is an incredibly inaccurate interpretation of this situation.”
“See, I don't even get what he's saying!” ------------ When he has to go to an unexpected meeting, Tokoyami thinks it would be a good idea to let Iida babysit Hawks' and Fuyumi's kids for a couple hours. Was scrolling through pinterest a pic and it's in japanese (yes, it's something huwumi), and I clicked on it since I want to see if there's a translation somewhere and I came to a 'this tweet is deleted', and then I saw another screenshot from tumblr and I wanted to follow the account yup, its inactive.
And I suddenly feel like I'm walking down the aisle of an ancient scholar's tower, browsing through all these remnants from a time long past, unable to decipher the words but still in love with them and I'm like an apprentice scholar just occasionally bringing in new material to contribute for someone else down the line to also see what I saw.
Social media, man.

Of a Feather
Of a Feather Fandom: My Hero Academia Pairing: Huwumi Summary: Hibari likes a lot of things about her family. She likes her brothers most of the time. She likes that her Mommy is always nice, even when Hibari does something naughty like drawing on the walls. She likes that her Daddy holds her whenever she wants him to. She likes that her Grampa looks all grouchy but still plays with her. But she doesn’t like what Grampa said about her wings.
Standard Disclaimer: If you read and enjoy this, please give it a like/ reblog so I know if I should write more.
“Are you sure you can handle this, Dad?” She scuffled her little feet beside her Mommy, looking between her and Grampa Jiji curiously. There was a quiet clattering behind them, down at the other end of the hallway, followed by a loud crash. Mommy winced as she peered over her shoulder, then looked forward again. “The twins have been extra energetic today. Especially when it comes to their Quirks.”
“I can handle a few unruly children, Fuyumi. I dealt with all three of your brothers, as well as your husband,” Grampa Jiji snorted and rolled his eyes, a brief flicker of flame appearing along his moustache. She giggled when she saw it. He glanced at her briefly, his eyes seeming a bit softer, before another crash could be heard and he scowled in the direction. “Would you like me to go round them up before you go?”
“No, they’ll come if I call,” Mommy said with a small sigh and shake of her head. She turned fully and settled her hands on her hips. That was her Mommy is Serious pose. “Boys, come down here please!”
“We didn’t break nothin!” One voice, which she knew was Kaito-Nii, called back down.
“Well, nothin important, anyway,” Reo-Nii added. A second later two heads peered around the corner, one a mop of unruly gold and the other of red, two sets of bright golden eyes taking in the view below. Reo-Nii flashed a huge grin of delight. “Grampa Jiji’s here!”
Mommy giggled and nodded as they came darting down the hallway to give proper greetings. “Yes, Grampa Jiji is going to be watching you two and Hibari while Isamu and I are out,” she said.
Kaito-Nii perked up at that and frowned, cocking his head and narrowing his eyes. “Where are you going?”
“Out to run a few errands,”
“Why does Isamu get to go?” Reo-Nii protested.
“Yeah, that’s not fair!” Kaito-Nii agreed.
“Isamu’s responsible for classroom snacks on Monday when he goes to school and decided he wants to make something from scratch. He needs to be there to help me pick it all out when I get to the store,” Mommy said, reaching down to ruffle the mop of white burrowed against her leg. There was a shift and Isamu-Nii poked to peer at their older brothers worriedly. He ducked back against Mommy after a second, though, since the older boys were glaring.
Hibari understood why they were upset because she’d been upset, too. She’d had a bit of a fit when she was told she wouldn’t be going. But that didn’t mean they should be mean to Isamu-Nii. “Isamu-Nii gets to go to the store, but we get to play with Grampa Jiji instead!” she chirped up.
The two looked at each other before looking back over at their grandfather. “I guess,” Kaito mumbled sullenly.
“That could be fun. Maybe,” Reo agreed quietly.
Mommy smiled at her before turning back to the boys. “Plus, if you all can behave while we’re gone, I’ll bring you each a little treat home,” she offered. Both of them brightened immediately at that promise. She giggled and reached out to ruffle both their hair, before turning to press a quick peck to her daughter’s forehead. “Now you three behave for your grandfather and play nice with each other.”
“Yes, Mommy,” they all chimed together.
She smiled again before looking up at Grampa. “Keigo’s only working a half day today, so he’ll probably be back before we will. I think he said he’d be home around noon. Isamu and I can grab lunch while we’re out, but I’ll let him know to pick up something for you all on his way home,” she explained. Hibari’s eye lit up at the mention of her Daddy, glancing over at the clock excitedly. She was still learning her numbers, but Mommy said she was very smart and learning fast! She tilted her head at the clock on the wall, watching the really skinny line move around the two bigger ones, before tugging at the sleeve of her Mommy’s shirt.
“Mommy, what time is it now?” she asked, pointing at the clock.
“It’s a quarter until ten,” she said, gently taking her daughter’s hand and guiding it. “You see the lines on the clock? Those are called hands.”
“Clocks have hands, too?”
Mommy giggled again and nodded before moving Hibari’s arm as she explained, “See the really long but wide hand? That’s called the hour hand. And the shorter one is called the minute hand. The really teeny one is the second hand. Daddy will be home around the time the two bigger hands are both pointed at the tippy top of the clock.”
“That’s a twelve!” she squeaked excitedly, looking between where her finger was pointed to Mommy.
“That’s right, sweetie! You’re getting so good at recognizing numbers!” she praised, leaning forward to pepper a few kisses to her cheek. Hibari giggled and squirmed happily, vaguely aware of her wings fluttering behind her.
Grampa Jiji hummed quietly. “They’ve already had breakfast, right? Or should I be anticipating feeding them between now and when Hawks returns?” he prompted.
“Oh, yes,” Mommy agreed as she pulled away and stood upright again. She cast another grin at the three of them before reaching down to take Isamu’s hand. “They’ve all been up since around eight, so they ate then. If they get a little peckish, though, there’s some fruits and things in the fridge. And, obviously, help yourself to anything you’d like, Dad.”
With one final wave, Mommy and Isamu-Nii were on their way out.
Hibari was fast to scamper to her room and get her little beauty salon goods to play with. The minute she presented it, Kaito and Reo were racing back upstairs, which she thought was mean. She didn’t always like playing the games they wanted to play, but she still did. Grampa Jiji led her out to the living room, though, and sat mostly still while she combed his hair into little ponytails. He let out little grumbles sometimes like he wasn’t having fun. Daddy never did that when they played beauty salon together.
Once she’d done a good job of making him look pretty, Grampa got out her crayons and coloring pages for her. She settled in at the table with them while he put on some boring grown up show. She wasn’t sure exactly what it was, but it didn’t seem very fun. Less fun than using her glitter crayons, anyway. She liked them the best. They were shiny and Uncle Natsuo had bought them just for her so that made them super special! Mommy said to always take good care of presents.
A flicker of red on the screen tore her away from scribbling in the hair of her mermaid and she started grinning. “Oh! It’s Daddy!” she said excitedly, leaning on the table to see the screen better. She giggled and swayed with his movements, watching as he dodged and ducked and flew around the bad guy he was facing. She tried to make her own wings imitate some of what he did, but it was hard. She had to think really, really hard about it and sometimes it made her head hurt!
“Still so small,” Grandpa Jiji said suddenly, causing her to look over at him. He had one elbow on the arm of the couch and his head rested in his hand. He was staring right at her wings as they shifted about.
“Huh? What’cha mean?” she asked, peering over her shoulder to look at them.
“Your brother’s were at least twice that size when he was your age,” he said, pushing himself off the couch to settle in front of her. He reached out and lightly poked at her left wing. It wasn't very painful but her wing still shrunk back and she let out a little yelp, just the slightest twinge of discomfort present. Like when Kaito or Reo tickled her too hard. “Isamu’s wings were much less sensitive, too. How much control do you have over them? Can you get any kind of distance off the ground?”
She frowned and squeezed her eyes shut tight, trying to get them to flap big and hard like she’d seen Daddy do before. She felt a little bit of wind from the action but they just fluttered a little harder than usual. She puffed her cheeks out as she stared back at them. She had been trying really hard that time too! "I didn't," she pouted.
"Hmm. That's rather disappointing. It seems it took most of your concentration to even flap them," Jiji commented.
She nodded meekly. "Daddy says it's cause my wings were all bunched up for so long," she mumbled. It wasn't very often they talked about Quirks in the house, since it seemed to make Mommy kinda sad and Uncle Natsuo and Uncle Shoto would get kinda angry. She didn't remember herself, but Daddy had told her that when she was just a baby, her wings didn't come out right and doctors had to a peration to get them out.
"Perhaps your wings are just more for show than actual flight like your father and brother," he commented, cupping his chin as he titled his head to try and get a better look at them.
She opened her mouth to yell at him that her wings could fly, too, before a loud crash was heard from down the hall. There was a brief flash of red as Reo tore into the kitchen. "Crap! Crap! Cra-ha-ha-ha-hap!" he wailed over the sound of the kitchen tap switching on.
"What have you two done now?" Grampa asked gruffly as he pushed himself up.
"Don't worry, Gramps, it's just a small fire! Mom and Dad won't even know it happened!"
"You did what?"
"Reo, hurry up! It's getting bigger!"
"What did the two of you do?"
"Dude, you told Gramps? What the heck?"
"I didn't say nothin'! He saw me getting the water, dumbie!"
She didn't wait around to see what her brothers had set on fire. They did stuff like that all the time. Instead she headed out into the backyard by herself, kicking at the dirt. She could so fly! She just couldn't do it yet! That didn't mean she wouldn't ever be able to do it!
… Right?
She whimpered and squatted down, drawing in the dirt with her finger. Mommy and Daddy never really talked about her wings, but they didn't talk about Isamu-Nii's either. So, that meant that nothing was wrong with her and her wings, right? Or did it mean they didn't talk about it because they didn't want her to know she couldn't fly? She stood up and shook her head frantically, whipping around to glare at the patio. "No! I can too fly!" she shouted, stomping her foot and clenching her fists. She just needed to find out a way to make herself fly!
And then she glanced over at the roof. Maybe if she got up there, she could jump off and fly from there! She grinned widely as she darted back inside. She rushed past the chaos happening in the bathroom and made a beeline for the second floor. She headed to the spare room in the far back, opened the window, and carefully climbed out. The storm drain was next to that window which made climbing easier for her. It was a little scary but once she was up on the roof and stood up, she couldn't help but smile wide. She walked over to the edge of the roof and peered over.
From up there, she could see so much! Her wings twitched and shifted as a hard gust of air rushed past her, ruffling the feathers and causing her to grin wider. Something about that felt so good! Like when Mommy bundled her up in a towel after a bath! It was a really windy day, too, so even if she couldn't fly by flapping, she could maybe sorta fly using the wind in her feathers! She scrambled towards the edge of the roof carefully, not wanting to slip off the slanted surface before she was ready. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, tried to spread her wings out as far as she could, then leapt.
And nothing happened.
"You know," a voice said, causing her eyes to snap open to meet with familiar gold ones, "I'm a little curious what you're trying to do here, sparrow."
"Daddy!" she chirped, wiggling slightly and looking around. He was hovering just beneath her while a few of her red feathers were curled around her belly to keep her propped up in the air. She let her whole body sag, sadness rushing through her. She had really thought that would work! "Daddy, I was gonna fly!"
"Fly?" he repeated, holding out his arms to her. She reached out immediately to take his hand. His feather slipped away and she slumped into his chest, his arms moving to curl around her tight, and she burrowed into him.
Her head snapped back up when she heard his heartbeat. "Your heart's beating really, really fast!"
He chuckled while gently adjusting his hold on her and tucking her head under his chin. "I wonder why that is," he mumbled under his breath. She let out a small huff and snuggled back into him, her hands curling into little fists around his t-shirt. "So, how did you wind up on the roof? And why?"
"Grampa Jiji said I can't fly!" she whined as Daddy carefully maneuvered them to the ground. "He said my wings are too tiny! But I can! I know I can!" she insisted, lower lip trembling. She pushed her face into her Daddy again. She didn't want to cry but she just felt so sad!
"Oh, my little sparrow," he cooed softly. He held her as she cried for a bit, gently rocking her and kissing her head. After a little while, he shifted and forced her to lift her head, wiping her tears away with his thumb. "Hibari, sweetheart, you can't fly yet, but you will."
She hiccupped a little. "B-But Grampa said that Isamu-Nii's were bigger when he was my age! That he could fly with them!"
"Well, that's your brother and you're you," he said, walking towards the back door. He opened the door and set her at her usual spot, kneeling so that they could see each other still and taking her hands in his. "Your wings will grow with time. Your wings are different from Isamu's and they're even different from mine. It's okay that your wings are still growing."
"But Grampa said-!" she started but he gently bopped his forehead against hers.
"Does Grampa have wings?"
"No,"
"Does Daddy have wings?"
"Yeah,"
"And has Daddy ever lied to you before?"
"Never!" she gasped.
"So if Daddy says that you'll be able to fly, you'll be able to fly," he said, giving her hands a little squeeze. "Okay?" She hummed her agreement and he moved to stand up again, pressing another quick peck to her forehead. "That's my girl. Now where is my most favoritest retired Pro at? I have some words for him while we eat."
"Kaito-Nii and Reo-Nii set the potty on the fire," she said, pointing at the hallway where a muffled ruckus could still be heard. Daddy looked down the hall before laughing.
"Is that the first incident today?"
"Yeah huh!"
He let out a long whistle at that. "Now that's impressive! They must have really wanted something,"
"Mommy said she'd bring us goodies if we behaved," she said before scrambling over to his side and taking his hand. "I dunno what they were doing cause I was giving Grampa a makeover!"
He smiled at her. "Well, I'd love to see what you did. Maybe you managed to save Jiji's pouty old face," he whispered with a wink, which made her giggle. She liked when her Daddy said silly things like that. Like later that afternoon, after Mommy got home and Hibari was munching on some cookies, when he asked Jiji, "So why were you trapped in the bathroom with the twins while our four year old was on the roof?"
The faces Mommy and Grampa Jiji made were really silly!

Title: What Happens at Frat Parties Chapter 4 Pairing:  Huwumi Rating: E Word Count:  3,004 Read on Ao3 Summary:
For Hawks, getting the girl has always been easy. He’s popular, attractive and part of the frat house that throws the best parties. When Dabi’s sister shows up one night, Hawks realizes not everything comes as easy to him as he thought. And while Fuyumi thinks Hawks isn’t her type, as time goes on, she finds his advances harder to resist. Maybe there’s more to him than she realizes.
Fic under the cut!
Hawks assumed he'd been insufferable all week.
"Dude you've been insufferable all fuckin' week," Dabi snorted, lighting a blunt.
Confirmed.
"I swear to fuck if you ruin this party, I'm going to murder you," Dabi continued, yanking on a large floatie to put in the pool, presumably for himself.
"What could I possibly do to ruin it for you when all you're going to do is float around and smoke?"
"You'll find a way," Dabi said, narrowing his eyes. "I know you've been moping about my sister rejecting you all week, which, disgusting, but if I have to hear you sad sigh one more time, I'm going to rip out your damn vocal chords."
"You know I can still sigh even without a voice-"
"Shut it. Just find someone to fuck tonight so your dickbrain can be satisfied."
Hawks opened his mouth, about to protest but Dabi continued. "And don't you dare fuck my sister."
"I'm not! She wants nothing to do with me!" he retorted quickly.
"Good. Ew. There are plenty of other fish in the sea or girls about to be in our pool. Pick someone else," Dabi said, taking a long hit on his blunt.
"I don't know. Maybe I should stop," Hawks said, grabbing a drink and sitting at the edge of the pool. Music thumped in the background, something upbeat Mirio had picked. He dipped his feet in the water, swinging his legs back and forth. In just a few moments, the pool would be filled with plenty of beautiful girls dressed in the most perfect bathing suits, droplets of water rolling down their skin, wet hair clinging to their cheeks. It was ideal, more than ideal.
And yet...
"Stop what? Fucking women? Yeah right. Maybe when I stop smoking," Dabi said, flopping onto the floatie. "It's the summer, not existential crisis hour."
He hopped into the pool, shivering when the water floated around his chest, leaning against the edge of the pool. "I know," he muttered.
"Look here, guyliner," Dabi said, sitting up enough to look at Hawks.
"Guyliner?" Hawks snorted, tiling his head.
"Yeah," Dabi said and gestured wildly to his own eye, right at the corner. "You always got that shit on your face."
"My... eyes just look like this," Hawks said, rolling them.
"What?" Dabi blinked. "Okay. Anyway, I'm not gonna help you get your mojo back or anything. So have a few more beers and find some cute girl and you'll forget all about this week and my sister. Which is still disgusting by the way."
"I guess I should let the magic of summer and alcohol do its stuff," Hawks sighed, draping his body over the edge of the pool.
"Exactly."
"You're a horrible friend, you know that?" Hawks snorted.
"Yup. Thank you!" Dabi smirked, puffing out a large ring of smoke.
Hawks didn't know why he cared so much about what had transpired between him and Fuyumi. She was pretty, sure, but it wasn't like he hadn't been with other pretty girls. Maybe it was the fact that it had been ages since he'd been rejected by someone. He sighed, running his wet fingers through his blond hair, taking a long swig of the beer.
Voices echoed from their front lawn, groups of people starting to walk up to the house. Mirio and Tensei were by the entrance of the gate, greeting the guests like it was some sort of formal event.
Hawks waved, nodding as friends walked into the yard, a few immediately rushing into the pool.
"Hey! Don't ruin my shit!" Dabi said, attempting to keep his balance in the floatie, holding his smoking blunt high above the water.
Dabi was right. Not that Hawks would ever say that out loud, but he needed to not think about stupid shit. He had no reason to be attached to Todoroki Fuyumi. She rejected him, which meant he could move on to someone else. Easy peasy.
Or it would've been if Todoroki Fuyumi wasn't walking into their backyard right now looking like an absolute goddess.
Her white and red hair was partially covered by a straw sunhat, her pale skin glistening in the sunlight. A soft white ribbon was tied around the hat, draping over the side. Her legs were covered by a pink wrap, tied around her curvy hips, covering the lower half of her white suit with red polka dots. It was a one piece, covering the entirety of her body, but it scooped low, her cleavage barely covered by the bow tied in the front. She looked good. Stunning even... especially in this compared to the rather... frumpy outfits he had seen her in before this.
His jaw dropped, his mouth open. He was lucky his damn drool stayed in his mouth.
"I know that look," Dabi snorted. "Glad it only took one beer for you to get over your damn self and- ...what the fuck."
Hawks could only assume Dabi's gaze had fallen upon the very person he couldn't take his eyes off of.
"Why the hell is Fuyumi here?!"
Because Hawks had finally gone to hell for being a shit and this was his torture.
"Stop staring at her, creep!" Dabi growled, flicking the side of Hawks head.
"Ow!? I wasn't!"
A blatant lie.
It hurt more to tear his eyes away from her than it did to stare. It sucked that she was way hotter than he'd originally guessed.
"I swear to fuck if I catch you again I'll rip your dick off. And don't talk to her because she's coming over here."
Indeed she was. Hawks rolled his eyes, taking a long swig of his beer. He wasn't going to purposefully talk to her, especially since every time he did something went wrong. No. He'd already made his decision to find someone else for the night...
But her hips...
The way the bathing suit sat snug on her curves. It was killing him and his dick that Dabi would rip off if he knew the dirty thoughts rushing through Hawks' mind.
"Oi! 'Yumi! What the hell are you doing here?" Dabi groaned, letting his head fall back into the water as he stared at her.
"Touya..." she sighed. "I'm not-"
"Dabi."
She clicked her tongue.
"Touya-"
"Fuyumi. You're the smart one of the two of us. How hard is it to remember what to call me?"
She rolled her eyes, folding her arms over her chest, which only made Hawks flick his gaze back down to the water.
Don't look at her chest. Don't look at her chest. Don't look at her chest.
If he chanted it hard enough he probably wouldn't do it. Probably.
"Oh, it's got nothing to do with memory," she huffed out. "I just don't want to call you that stupid name."
"Stupid? It's better than Touya."
Hawks didn't really know Dabi's hang up about his name and he didn't bother to ask; he knew he wouldn't get a serious answer.
"Anyway," Fuyumi said, ignoring the question. "I'm not here for you-"
"Oh fuck, please tell me you're not here for Hawks."
"Huh-" Hawks blinked, and shot his head up, staring straight at Fuyumi. Her cheeks were heated as she glanced between both of the boys.
Hope; a cruel emotion, flickered in his chest.
"What?!" Quickly she shook her head. "I'm not here for him either! Nejire wanted to see Mirio and Tamaki so she asked me to come with her."
"Oh, carry on then," Dabi said, flicking his hand as he pulled his head up and took a long drag on the blunt still smoking in his mouth.
Fuyumi rolled her eyes. "Glad to have your permission," she said, turning from both of them.
"Hope you, uh, have fun," Hawks said, waving his hand one time. She glanced back towards him, nodding awkwardly before turning back to head to where Nejire was.
He loved looking and sounding like a total moron.
Watching her walk away, he gulped down the rest of his beer and slammed the bottle down on the side of the pool.
He needed 20 more of those to make this night better.
~~
Even in a one piece, Fuyumi felt exposed. She hated the summer, she much preferred to be bundled up in sweaters and jeans, comfortable for the winter. Today, the heat was practically unbearable, and the last thing she wanted to do was swim in the pool where her brother and his idiotic friends were hanging out.
"'Yumi, you look like you're dying," Nejire teased, gently nudging her friend.
"It's just a little hot," she said, gently adjusting her hat.
"I know the solution to that," Nejire hummed. "We should grab drinks!"
"Just some water for me-"
"No, no... no no no!" Nejire squeaked, hooking her arm through Fuyumi's. "We're going to make you a real drink!"
"Neji!" she said, stumbling forward with the girl as they made their way over to the bar.
Fuyumi wasn't much of a drinker. Meaning she drank never. When she did, it was usually a disaster.
The last thing this party needed was a disaster.
"Girl, you need to allow yourself to have fun. I'll make you a drink and you'll feel refreshed in no time," she said, grabbing a few of the bottles on the table.
"I didn't realize 'refreshed' and 'drunk' were synonyms now," Fuyumi teased, trying to watch what Nejire was doing as she dumped ice into two drinks.
"Having one drink to take the edge off is not going to get you drunk."
Oh how wrong she was.
They were joined by Mirio and Tamaki, though Tamaki had yet to say anything, and Fuyumi found she preferred to let Nejire and Mirio do most of the talking. For now, she focused on the drink. It was nice in a way, the cup keeping her hands cold at the very least. And though the liquid was sharp when it rolled down her throat, it was surprisingly refreshing, sending a cool feeling throughout her body.
At some point, Nejire refilled the drink when she refilled her own, laughing with Mirio about some final exam they both were certain they aced.
By the end of the strange green colored drink, Fuyumi was feeling far more 'refreshed' than she expected. Her skin tingled, a slight buzz tickling through her veins and she could feel her heartbeat throbbing against her forehead. Somehow the sun felt even hotter now and Fuyumi was done avoiding the pool.
"Uh, Yumi? Where are you going?" Nejire said, the moment Fuyumi took a step away from her.
"It's still too hot, I'm going swimming."
"Are you sure about that?" Nejire asked.
"Mhm," she said, untying the wrap around her waist as she tossed it to the side. "Can't take it anymore." She placed her hat on the ground with the pink wrap, leaving them by Nejire as she walked to the water and stepped into it.
She sighed as the cool water floated over her, immediately cooling her body. She sighed happily, running her hand over the top of the water.
"I'm surprised you decided to come back over here."
Gasping, Fuyumi jerked her head up, looking directly into the golden eyes of Hawks, a smirk pulled across his lips. Aviator sunglasses shimmered in the sunlight atop his head, his bare chest dripping with the water from the pool.
He really was too handsome for his own good.
At least, that's what Fuyumi was certain other girls thought. Not her. He was average. Nothing special.
Even though her eyes trailed up and down his body against her will.
"I was hot," she said finally, as if it registered to her brain that she needed to answer him.
"Heh..." he chuckled and she rolled her eyes, leaning against the edge of the pool.
"Don't," she said. "I don't need your fake flattery."
"Fake?" he sighed, moving to the edge of the pool. He folded his arms over the edge and smirked at her. "Who said anything about fake?"
"I know your type. I know what you do to get girls out of this pool and into your bed." She clicked her tongue and flicked water at his face. It was a bit blunt, but the alcohol had removed her filter. "I just want to cool off," she whined, pushing away from the edge, she dunked herself completely under the water. Coming back up, she smoothed her hands over her hair, slicking it back.
"Look," Hawks sighed, rubbing his forehead. "I'll leave you alone okay. I promise I was just going to say the suit was cute, nothing weird."
She glanced down at the red polka dots. "This? Cute?"
"Yeah, it looks good on you," he said casually.
Was this how he won all the girls over? Simple-minded compliments to girls who didn't always feel good about themselves.
Well, Fuyumi wasn't going to fall for it. Not anymore than she already kinda, maybe, sort of, was. She cleared her throat. "Well, thanks."
"Yeah, I gotta... get out of here anyway. Your brother will kill me if he sees me talking to you," Hawks said, snorting as he began to walk by her.
"What? Did he say that?"
"Yup. Multiple times. Threatened to rip my dick off too and I'm not about to let that happen."
Fuyumi wrinkled her nose. A disgusting image quite frankly. "Are you really... scared of my brother?"
"Scared!?!" He immediately turned around, coughing a bit, as though a bug had flown into his mouth. "I'm not scared. I just don't feel like listening to him bitch about shit. Shigaraki bitches enough for all of us.
"Plus," he continued. "You've made it pretty damn clear you're not interested. I'm not gonna harass you. I have more tact than that." He almost looked sad as he said all that, his golden eyes flickering against the sun.
"Oh," she said softly. "I see." Why did she sort of share the sentiment?
"You don’t have to look sad about that,” he smirked. "I’ll make sure to ask you for one date from time to time."
He really was handsome.
Her heart continued to throb against her forehead and for a moment her stomach dropped as she imagined what it would be like to kiss him. Her eyes trailed down to his lips, which were pursed tight against his teeth as if he was deep in thought. She had heard so many rumors from Nejire and others; about what a good kisser he was and for a moment she let her mind wander.
Him pushing her against the edge of the pool, hands cupping her jaw, thumb caressing her cheek while he slotted their lips together-
"Yup. Anyway, do you want anything?" he asked, shaking her from her daze.
"Uh? Anything?"
Like a kiss? Or even better, an actual conversation? She thought he was about to leave her alone.
He raised his eyebrow when he realized she was clearly confused. He spoke again, "To drink?" he asked.
Oh no, she was good when it came to alcohol. Already she was starting to wonder if this was a pool or a whirlpool.
What the hell had been in the drinks Nejire had poured for her?
She quickly shook her head and floated away from the stairs. The faster she got away from him the better. She was certain it was the alcohol clouding her brain because she never would've ever considered thinking about kissing Hawks. And now... it was all her brain could focus on.
If only she could just try it once and be disgusted by it so she could get it out of her system.
No.
That was just what he wanted her to do. He was probably praying to some sex god that she would come to him and beg him to take her. Well, she certainly would show him.
"Fuyumi, are you okay?" Hawks asked, floating after her in the pool. His fingers cut through the water, leaning against the edge.
"No! I will not sleep with you!"
"Huh?" Hawks stood, or, floated rather, in front of her, blinking once and then again.
Good, she totally threw him off. Victory.
But then she realized when she actually said. She froze, swallowing as she felt the heat rise up to her cheeks. Had she really just said that?! He hadn't even asked, even though she was certain he just assumed which was dumb of him but saying that was not very smart of her either. She tried not to groan or roll her eyes as her mind stumbled into a panic.
Why was he staring at her? Did he think that was what she had been thinking about this whole time!?
"I promise..." Hawks began, finally regaining some form of speech. "I wouldn't do anything you didn't want. I'm not that much of a jerk," he said and for a moment she sensed a hint of sadness laced in his tone. She probably could've read it better if he wasn't starting to spin in front of her.
"You just seem a little... drunk," he admitted. "I was worried-"
Worried? She highly doubted that.
"What? No? I'm fine! I'm not Touya... oh... excuse me, Dabi!" she huffed.
"You don't drink often, do you?" he teased softly, leaning in towards her.
Oh gosh, he really was handsome.
"No," she said, holding the word out for far longer than normal. "I didn't drink much today."
"No, I meant in general-"
"I just need to find Nejire and I'll be fine," she sighed, pushing herself towards the stairs.
"Okay, just be careful-"
She clicked her tongue cutting him off. "I don't need to be careful, I'm perfectly fine." She pushed herself out of the pool, stumbling forward when she realized her body felt a bit heavier now she was standing on land.
But Fuyumi didn't need Hawks' help; not at all.

DAY 8: BONUS DAY! FREE DAY!
Day 7 ------- Day 1
Since it's the last day and it's the day off, I decided to put on not just one song but three! Three beautiful songs with many Huwumi feelings to enjoy! (The first is one of my favorites). 💖🥰
I'm so happy I made this playlist, I actually didn't think I'd get excited, let alone finish it. It started as a crazy idea while listening to music: What if I make a PlayList? But I still need to plan my narratives, what if no one listens to her? What happens if I run out of songs? What happens if I don't finish it? I'm tired of not finishing things on time…
As it turned out, I even had songs left over! I got down to work and many good feelings came out for my heart, I loved having enjoyed this week to the fullest and my writings are still missing! I'm very happy! Thanks for joining me in this crazy idea!
Now I just have to finish my narrative entries, and if I have time left, I'll be able to pull out some sketch ideas that I have. I can proudly say that I really enjoyed Huwumi this week!
If I made someone else happy with my songs, I can be more than satisfied!

Bring Your Pet to Class Day
So pleasant were the days that her students calmly did their work. The classroom was filled with the light scratching of pencil on paper as they did the assigned workbook problems. They had just started learning equations and watching them chew on pencil erasers and scratch their heads left Fuyumi smiling softly.
She slowly wandered between desks, happily assisting where they had trouble, until she found one problem that a majority of them were having issues with. Heading to the board, Fuyumi started writing it out, patiently walking through each step. Turning her head to ask if they had any questions, the piece of chalk in her fingers cracked against the chalkboard when she noticed someone on the other side of the door.
Impossible.
That idiotic grin was practically pressed up against the small window, and it was a matter of seconds once he noticed her staring that he strutted into the classroom. Was it impossible for Hawks to walk without that swagger?
With a speed Ingenium would have envied, Hawks was pushed back into the hallway, and Fuyumi shut the door and frowned.
“What are you doing here?” she demanded in a frantic whisper. He pulled out a paper from his jacket.
“You wanted another autograph.” There truly was no end to his arrogance.
“I didn’t want it. I needed it after you personalized the first one,” she snapped, light angrily glinting off her glasses, but Hawks just kept smiling.
“How are you enjoying that one?”
“It makes a great coaster.” Seeing the brown coffee ring on his face made her smile, as did his slightly crestfallen expression, though minor guilt quickly crept in.
Fuyumi sighed and touched her fingers to her temple.
“How did you even know where to find me?”
“I got your dad to tell me,” stated the petulant hero. His hands were shoved in his pockets, and she’d swear he was actually pouting. Her temper briefly spiked. Growing up, her dad had never bothered with her much, but now he knew enough about her to tell the bird-brain where she worked?
Fighting back a groan, Fuyumi glanced inside her classroom and saw her students intently staring back. Returning to Hawks, who was now avoiding her eyes and, dear lord, his wings were starting to droop, she sighed, realizing that she would probably regret her next words.
“Would you mind coming in?” she asked, gesturing to the door. “Now that they’ve seen you, I’ll never finish the lesson.” Instantly his entire demeanor perked up, and that mischievous grin was back, making Fuyumi wonder how much of the kicked puppy look was real.
Hawks strutted past her into a room of excited gasps and clapping. Sparing herself one moment to breathe deep and school her face into a forced smile, she followed. He was sitting on the edge of her desk, arms crossed, asking the kids about their studies.
And it was no one’s business if she felt a little warm hearing him praise her students, “Wow, you guys must be really smart!”
All the kids started shouting out questions which prompted Fuyumi to step in and restore order. Once they were raising their hands, Hawks would float one of his feathers over to brush against their palm, which the young ones went crazy for. Seemed like a way to show off to the teacher, especially when he glanced at her from the corner of his eye each time he did it.
However, Fuyumi kept smiling. No matter what Hawks did, it was her duty to set an example for her students, and being friendly and respectful of pro heroes was part of that.
“Now who thinks Miss Todoroki should go on a date with me?”
Or she could just kill him now and freeze his feathers into popsicles. The extra effort to keep a smile in place cause her face to ache, but he just grinned.
“I hardly think that’s appropriate, Hawks,” she bit out, fighting a blush when the entire class seemed to raise their hands simultaneously.
“Eh? But the kids think it’s a great idea,” he teased, moving to stand next to her. Between his piercing gaze and the wide-eyed awe of her students, Fuyumi adjusted her glasses to try and distract from the heat creeping along her cheeks.
The bell ringing was her saving grace. Fuyumi instructed the kids to finish the problems for homework as they packed up their bags, but as they left, Hawks remained right where he was, within arms length of her.
His wings lightly fluttered, and she hated how distracting she found it. Even though he wasn’t much taller than her, he owned the space around them with his presence. Her breath caught, but she quickly covered it by clearing her throat.
“Just one date,” he implored, his smile softer but no less sure, “and if you haven’t completely fallen for me, then I’ll leave you alone.”
“You’re that arrogant?”
“I’m that confident.”
Fuyumi breathe out a long sigh through her nose before relenting. “Fine.” Judging by the widened eyes of his pleased expression, Hawks hadn’t thought she’d actually agree.
“Great! I’ll pick you up Saturday. You’ve already got my number,” he reminded her before finally taking his leave before she could change her mind. Air rushed from Fuyumi’s lungs in relief, and she collapsed into her desk chair.
Her face was burning. Realizing that she just said yes to a date with Hawks, Fuyumi covered her face with her hands and groaned. She had never met a man so infuriatingly determined, but there may have been a part, a very small part, of her that hadn’t minded saying yes.
