#well. sometimes. he did throw Eobard into space one time hoping that he would die
Can we get a ranking of speedsters most to least likely to kill
This thing is gonna be an upside down pyramid. Jesus, okay.
Tier 1 (Have killed, will kill)
Jay, Max, Dawn, Don
Tier 2 (Have killed, will kill again but is more prone to torture when angry and/or threatened)
Barry, Bart, Wally
Tier 3 (Hasn't killed but will if needed)
Avery, Ace, Jesse, Jenni
Tier 4 (Actual child)
Irey, Jai, Wade
My explanation for this? Simple. Tier 1 is all people who have actively fought in wars. Jay fought Nazis, he killed people in WW2. That's just what happened. He doesn't feel bad about it. Jay avoids killing people now because he isn't at war currently, but he will kill and has killed if he absolutely has to.
Max has also fought in wars and he has had a long and storied past throughout history. The man has seen and done things. Not all of them good. But yeah, Max has killed. Will he kill again? Unlikely. Unless someone is threatening his daughter or Bart, in which case, yes, it's very likely.
Dawn and Don also fought in a war and killed entire platoons of Dominators. They're unlikely to kill again because they're dead. But if they weren't dead? I'm pretty sure they'd still be fine with killing people in wartime situations.
Tier 2 is a little bit more complicated. Barry, Wally and Bart have all killed people. It's a last resort for them but it's still always an option. If they have to kill the bad guy to save the civilian then they'll kill the bad guy no questions asked. Some people have to die for the time stream to function correctly? Sure. Okay. Especially bigger bads like Darksied. They had absolutely no problem killing Darksied. Oh, and you better watch out if you threaten their loved ones because the people they love are worth dying and killing for.
They don't like it. They really don't like it. But they'll do it.
(Honestly though? Bart is unnerving unfazed by it)
Tier 3. So... This may come as a surprise but I actually haven't read all the LoSH comics? So while I'm fairly certain Jenni hasn't killed anyone, I can't say that 100%. Either way, she'd be down for it if it was the only option.
Avery would 100% be down for murder. So would Ace. That's the Iris West influence right there. Those two kids are not afraid to get their hands dirty and, while I'm fairly certain they haven't yet, I have no doubt that they will. These two just inherited Iris' moral code and she's totally fine with homicide.
Jesse surprises me because she's gotta have killed someone. I'm wracking my brain and nothing comes to mind but I don't buy that for a second. She's just got that homicidal energy, you know? She's 100% done it and will again, I just can't remember when it was.
Tier 4 is the children. Now... to be clear. I'm not saying that they haven't killed anyone because they are children. No, I'm actually fairly positive they have killed a significant amount of people. I'm saying that they are children and therefore do not understand the concept of death. They don't really understand that they've killed people and I don't really think they are any more or less likely to kill again. Until they understand it they are just destructive forces of nature. No malice or intent. Just sheer raw power.

I recall one "if the words would work" that it sort of seemed like you wanted to do, so... Cisco, trying to figure out how his powers work, occasionally vibes other people in the multiverse, and makes a friend or two. And maybe saves one from a fire.
Ever since Martin had urged him not to be afraid of his powers, Cisco had been trying, really.  He still hadn’t told anyone about his visions-- they didn’t need to know about what Dr. Wells--what Eobard Thawne--had said. And He didn’t want them to look at him like he was made of glass, or worse, like he were a ticking time bomb. But he tried. Once he was comfortable with them, he reasoned, he could talk about it to Caitlin and Barry. He tried to hold on to the flickers of Blue  long enough to see the details, to see them clearly. Once, he tried so hard that when he opened his eyes, a blue shimmer was still clenched in his fist, looking like the tear between the worlds that writhed in the basement.  He’d panicked and dropped it, and it had vanished. He got better at holding the visions, if not at controlling it.  The blue appeared at random; when he brushed past Caitlin in the hall, when he cleaned Barry’s suit or bought a can of soda at the store or a pastry from Jitters.  Sometimes he saw things that could have happened yesterday, or just down the block-- the barista at Jitters smiling at a karaoke night was one like that, or  seeing Barry on one of his runs zip past a playground and take the moment to  fix all the screws in a hastily constructed swingset that looked suspect.
Other visions were of places he did not recognize at all, like the time he’d tried to hold the vision that had come when he’d gone to the craft store to get more needles for the sewing machine so he could finish Sara’s suit. He’d seen a blue haze, and then a gleaming room with windows looking out into space. Another time  he’d almost choked on a nutella donut and saw a redhaired woman with a fryingpan and platemail repeatedly braining a man with a face made of ice. Maybe that one had been a weird dream, though. But there were visions of Oliver Queen with a Goatee, and Barry with blond hair, and all kinds of things that didn’t fit--unfamiliar skylines, STAR Labs signage on buildings that were bustling with people… Once, holed up in his workspace he’d had a vision, a vibe, of kids walking down a sidewalk, bouncing a soccerball. In the vibe, a hole in reality tore open in front of them, and on instinct Cisco had reached for the power he hoped he had, trying to somehow stitch everything back together. When his eyes were forced open again, he saw a soccer ball rolling under the desk. So that was, uh, something. He’d tried to forget that one, and that the children had looked like they might have come from his mother’s family photo album.  Idly, he wondered if he might be able to figure out the connection between his powers and the rips through space--the breaches. Obviously he could--there was clearly some connection, so really it was a question of how quickly, and how best to try.  Touching the rift was probably a no-go, if only because if it didn’t work he could die, and also Caitlin would get to give an “I told you so.”
Cisco kept after it for a few more weeks, helping Barry hunt for the metas Zoom kept sending to kill them all, telling Lisa the price for saving her life was that she please leave the state, if not the whole continent, tinkering with pet projects. He’d finished with the Boot, and Joe and Singh had asked for several for the CCPD, but Cisco wasn’t sure how many random cops he wanted to trust with a weapon that could theoretically also be used against Barry, or Martin and Jax, or himself--not that his powers were particularly noticeable. His friends still didn’t know, and Cisco wasn’t about to tell them.
He fiddled with one of the shields he’d worked on last winter, trying to upgrade it to protect better against heat and fire damage, and maybe throw in some kind of low-grade energy disrupter to work against projectiles, too.  He reached for his torch to test one of the spots that looked a little weaker than the other, but as the flame kicked on, the orange glow turned blue, and then grew in his vision until blue fire was all he could see. “Help!” a voice coughed through smoke, and Cisco stepped towards it without thinking. As soon as he did, he choked, lungs protesting that the smoke in the vibe was really there, in his airway. Cisco could feel his hand still on the shield as he moved, half blind, towards the voice.
“This way!” he shouted to the kid--and ok, maybe that was why some people thought he, nearly 24, was a kid. The kid--the young man--looked around frantically until he saw him, his jacket singed in multiple places. Cisco’s mind screamed that they needed to go back now. Twisting his head, he could see a halo of blue, and through it his own lab space, bright with white overhead lighting.
“There’s someone else in here,” the young man coughed, and Cisco’s heart clenched at the thought of leaving someone behind, but the blue was fading. “There’s no time, hurry,” he said. He pushed the soot stained kid in first and gripped the edges of the blue--the breach--willing it to stay open.  To the left, he saw a shape, a person in black, moving through the smoke, a metal circle around his head. “ hey, over here!” Cisco shouted. The man lifted a hand, and a wave of dark rose up from the ground. Cisco stumbled backwards, and the breach sealed behind him, leaving him in his workroom with the faintest wisps of smoke, and a frantic rescuee.
“I have to get back there,” he said. “What--who are you? How did you do that?  What’s that thing--” Cisco recognized the stream of questions, speaking fluent geek as well as ‘oh that’s going to be PTSD if we get to the ‘p’ part’
“I’m Cisco,” he said when he could get a word in edgewise. “I don’t know how I did it, you’re welcome, that’s a temperature shield, you’re at STAR Labs and I do not know how to get you home but you’re not the only one my friends are trying to do that for so how about we work on that and you can tell me what that guy was doing with tiny robots and also maybe who you are?”
“Tadashi. Tadashi Hamada, from SFIT? I’ve never heard of STAR Labs, is that in the east bay? Did you--was that a portal? A real one?”
“We’re both standing in my workroom so let's go with yeah, a real one. What’s SFIT? And again, the man with the robots.”
Tadashi ran a hand through his short black hair. “My brother made them. God, he’s got to be freaking out-- I--oh.” he sat with a thump on the floor. “ my professor. He was stealing them. He-- he had a suit, heat resistant, like he knew…” Tadashi started to cough, hacking up gross black saliva. “Oooh,” Cisco said, flopping next to him. “Yikes. Mentors turning out to be the worst is also something I know about, it’s rough. Here, why don’t we get you some nice clean air, and I guess I have to explain some things to my friends.”

Earth 2 Harrison Wells x Reader Imagine

Disclaimer:  I don't own the flash.
“Well maybe if you asked nicely I’ll give them to you.”
“Maybe if you asked nicely I’ll give them to you!” a high pitched voice mimicked.
“That’s not what I sound like!” Cisco fumed. You’d just gotten to S.T.A.R Labs, upon entry the first thing you heard was Cisco and Harry yelling back and forth.
“Not today satan!” you thought making a quick turn before they could catch sight of you. Unfortunately you weren’t as quick as you thought.
“(Y/N)!” you grumbled under your breath at Cisco’s call, walking in with your head down.
“Am I stingy, be honest.” he said looking at you. Harry fixed you with a look as well and you cowered.
“S-Sometimes you do get a bit selfish with your stuff. “ He gasped, placing a hand to his chest offended.
“There you have it Ramon.” Harry grabbed whatever tool they were bickering about walking out. You didn’t meet Cisco’s eyes. “That ain't friendship.” you glowered.
“Come on man you know he scares the shit out of me!” you complained at the frown on Cisco’s face.
“Yeah well next time you decide to throw me under the bus just remember I could vibe you to another dimension. “ you glared at his threat.
“Yeah, well did you forget, I know how to get rid of you without leaving a trace.” It wasn’t a bluff either. You worked in forensics. Cisco laughed a bit, until he looked at your face and realized you were being serious. He cleared his throat.
“Are you hungry, I am, let’s get some food.” he said in a hurry. You just grinned following him out.
~~~
“Harry, hey Mr. Grump where are you?” you walked down the halls trying to find him. You got him a burger because you knew how much he craved the food.  He was always cooped up in the lab.
Harry was such an intelligent person, yet very antisocial. For once there wasn’t an imminent threat, you didn’t understand why he wouldn’t just try and relax and enjoy the company of others. You were a bit confused as to how he raised such a happy girl.
If anything you thought his grouchiness would rub off on her. He did lose his wife though, so you guessed he had a reasonable excuse to be the way he was. You just wanted him to let loose. Enjoy life, instead of going through it with a constant scowl. As evil as Eobard was, at least the guy knew how to smile.
When you rounded a corner you noticed a door ajar. You walked closer, pushing it lightly. Harry?” you walked in. The sight before you almost made you choke. You’d found Harry, but he was shirtless. There was a towel around his neck, hair dripping slightly. He was sporting his usual dark jeans, but no shirt. You were stunned at how well built he was. Of course you noticed through his complimenting choice of dark clothing. But still, it was a lot different actually seeing. When his eyes looked your way he squinted slightly. He rubbed his eyes with the towel, finally making out your face.
“Do you need something?” you stammered. “N-No I-I just.I brought you this!” you dropped it on the table taking a step back. He looked pleasantly confused as to why your face was getting redder the longer you stood there. “Is that all?” you blinked.
“O-Oh yeah! Enjoy.” you paced out of the room, pulse ringing in your ears. That was weird. You knew Harry was an attractive guy, you weren’t stupid. But seeing him like that..it triggered something in you. Something you pretended not to acknowledge. For the rest of the week you found yourself staring at him more than usual. Whenever he sat at his desk you’d just sit there, absolutely fascinated with the way his arms flexed when he messed with his many creations. Sometimes his brow would crease in the most adorable way when he was stuck on a project. You tried your best to hide it, especially when Cisco or any of the other members of Team Flash was around. The last thing you needed was to be teased. Especially since Harry was at least twenty years older than you.
"(Y/N), I need a hand." you looked up at Harry's voice. He was tinkering with a small box. "S-Sure." you said moving closer. He pointed to a knob on the metal box. "Keep your hand on that switch." you obeyed, pressing your finger to it. He pushed on another end, apparently pressing his fingers to other knobs. You just stood there for a while.
Until you felt a jolt run through your body. You yanked your hand away with a squeal. Harry's eyes darted up in worry. Your finger now had a small burn. "Are you alright?" he asked grabbing your hand to see the damage.
"It's fine it was just a shock, took me by surprise." Harry was still holding unto your hand. It took you a while to pick up on the lack of space between you two. Suddenly the burn didn't even hurt. When his eyes met yours you let out a soft breath.
"Harry! Barry needs a- What are you guys doing?" you jumped apart, messing with your clothing. "Nothing! I-I gotta go." you ran out before he could question anything. Heart still pounding.
~~~
Get down!!" you grunted when Harry grabbed you, pulling you to the ground. You landed right on top of him. "Isn't there ever a quiet day in this place." you grumbled into his chest.
There was a meta shooting deathly lasers at the both of you. Apparently he didn't like the idea of someone stopping his heist, so he came for payback. You and Harry were hiding behind one of the tables taking cover. There was a rush of air and then Barry's voice. "You guys could come out now I got him. "
 Relieved you turned back down at Harry with a smile. It slowly dropped when you saw the way he was looking at you. You were still pressed to him to.  You jumped to your feet, completely flustered. Cisco was now standing in the doorway, his suit on.
"Where's Harry?" on cue Harry stood. He dusted himself off with a frown.
"Took you long enough Ramon." Cisco yelled. "Sorry I was a bit caught up with not getting blown to dust!" Harry didn't respond, just walked off running a hand through his hair. You watched as he left, still a bit daze from your previous position. After a relatively hard case at CCPD, you decided to call it a night. Cisco invited you to his apartment where he was apparently having a little party. You agreed, deciding it was better than going home to cup noodles and cheap beer. When you pulled up to his door you knocked. You could hear a commotion going on at the other side. A very excited Cisco greeted you as he ushered you through the door.
“Welcome to my humble home.” he exaggerated. You giggled, waving to Caitlin Barry and Iris.
“So he suckered you guys into this too. “ Caitlin gave a nod.
“We didn’t have a choice.” Iris added. Cisco feigned hurt.
“Come on who doesn’t love hanging out with me.” he boasted. You just snickered, dropping your bag to get something to drink.
“Hey Cisco, got any sodas?” you asked, moving to his kitchen. “Yeah.” he called. You turned the corner, almost running into someone. The person grabbed you by the shoulders steadying you before you could fall.
“Sorry.” you apologized looking up. When you caught who it was your breath hitched. “(Y/N).” he acknowledged. You stepped out of his reach. Cisco did not tell you Harry was going to be there.
If you’d know you would have refused on the spot. Every time you looked at him now you were afraid he would figure it out. You avoided his gaze, walking around him. When you reached the counter you braced your hands on the marble surface, trying to calm down your heart. Such a small interaction and your stomach was already in knots.
Tonight was going to be interesting.
~~
At the beginning it was just the lot of you catching up on each other's lives. With metahumans attacking every breathing second your social life was almost non existent.
Somewhere along the way, Cisco managed to talk you all into playing truth or dare. Harry of course was the first to deny, but Cisco blackmailed him, saying if he didn’t participate he'd vibe his equipment all across the multiverse. With great reluctance Harry sat back down, giving your long haired friend a death stare.
So far it was quite entertaining. Barry had to give Iris a lap dance, something you never thought you would see. You and Caitlin cheered as he moved with an upbeat song. You could tell by the color of his cheeks that he was embarrassed.
Poor guy looked like he was about to pass out. Barry got back at him by daring him to admit who he had a crush on. You were interested to find out it was Caitlin. She looked just as surprised and even flattered. They both exchanged a look and you could see a spark between them. You smiled.
What you failed to realize was the entire time Harry’s eyes would wander over you. Never long enough for you to pick up on. He was curious about your relationship status. Not that he would ever admit it of course.
“My turn!” Cisco hollered. He eyes locked unto you and you gulped at the grin that slowly played on his face. It looked suspiciously like a “I’m about to get you back” grin.
“Shit!” You didn’t want any part of what he was planning.
 “I-I gotta use the bathroom. You guys continue without me. I'll be back in a second."
Cisco grabbed your wrist before you could run off. “Oh no you don’t. I need you for this next one.” his eyes landed on Harry.
“Harry, I dare you to french kiss (Y/N).” a chorus of oh’s and ah’s echoed and you paled. Cisco probably had no idea of your crush, he most likely assumed you were terrified of the older man. That or he knew and he was trying to make you die from a heart attack.
“I refuse.” you looked over at Harry. You were hurt at how quick he denied. Was it such an inconvenience for him to kiss you.
“I won’t damage a good friendship for such a foolish game.” his explanation made you look up with hopeful eyes. When his blue gems connected you swallowed. You could have been imagining it but you swore you caught a hint of want behind those dark rimmed glasses.
“I-It’s fine.” you assured fiddling with your hands.
“We’re all adults here, I-I doubt one kiss would ruin anything.” you said softly. You hoped he couldn’t tell how desperately you wanted him to kiss you. He searched your eyes, looking for any hint of uncertainty. When he saw none he moved over to you. When he was sitting directly in front of you he removed his glasses.
“If you’re sure.” you gave a slow nod. “If I don’t Cisco’s going to get me back with something far worse.” you joked. That made him smile a little. The entire room went quiet. Neither you or Harry seemed to pay attention to anyone else as you sat there just watching each other. Cisco shifted a few feet away, along with everyone else. Iris was trying to contain her excitement.
Barry looked a bit distant, as if trying to assess the situation. “Hey, do you think they're into each other?” he asked softly. Iris smacked him, giving him a really look. “You know, for someone so fast you sure catch onto things slow.” she commented.
“W-What, I’m not the only one.” he defended. Caitlin giggled. “We all knew, that’s why Cisco set this up.” she muttered. “And my plan seems to be working.” he whispered. They looked back at you.
“S-So uh, how do you want to do this?” you were dead nervous. Harry just seemed to be taking it all in. When his hands held both sides of your face you almost melted. He didn’t say a word, just leaned forward, eyes slowly closing. You mirrored his action and your lips met in a slow kiss.
It was so tamed at first, like he was trying to savor every moment. He was so tender with you, far different from his rough personality. One of his hands moved down, going around and pressing lightly into your back. He pulled your closer, tongue begging for entrance.
You complied, opening your mouth to him. As soon as you did he nudged you closer. You were now in his lap, hands reaching up to sift through his short locks. Harry welcomed it, a soft groan leaving him when you tugged lightly. Apparently you both forgot you still had an audience. Cisco snapped a couple pictures before gesturing them to move into the other room. They stood, sneaking away. Iris let out little giggles as they left.
Harry pulled back a little, watching your heaving expression. Your lips were a bit swollen now, eyes flickering to his almost immediately. “Wow..” you sighed out. He smiled.
“I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when Ramon invited me to this. It didn’t turn out to be as boring as I thought it would be.” you grinned. “I’m glad you enjoyed it. “ You would have to thank Cisco for this one later.
“Although, I didn’t expect it.” he spoke. You were confused.  “Didn’t expect what, that I have a thing for you. Come on, you’ve got to be kidding. “ It was stupid that he thought you wouldn’t be attracted to him. Then again, he wasn’t that good at reading social cues, so there was a good chance he had no idea what his small actions were doing to you. And those eyes...damn those eyes. You licked your lips.
“I really do have a thing for you.” your admittance made his eyes darken.
“I see that now…” your hands wrapped slowly around his neck and you dove in for another heated kiss. He smirked against your lips, matching your pace.
