The Watcher news is a lot to take in, and I know we have some questions/feedback for the team. But please be patient and remember these are all human beings, who enjoy their jobs and making content for the fans.
And to anyone who is targeting hate directly at Steven - STOP. If you've seen Making Watcher, you know anxiety about this company succeeding keeps Ryan up at night. And in the last Pod Watcher, Shane said he's not planning on leaving the company ever.
The decisions were made by all three of them.
Rude comments aren't helpful. I'm sorry if you can't afford this, but they even encouraged account sharing, so make a fandom friend and split it between you. Until then, hydrate, take a breath, and maybe consider examining your personal biases.

how each of the nuwho doctors would play just dance
9: not looking forward to it + rolling eyes + giving sass at first but with each passing dance, absolutely eats it up and you can tell he's having a lot of fun, breaking your highscore each time you show him a new song. the doctor does, in fact, Dance
favorite dance: "everybody needs somebody to love" by the blues brothers
10: takes it WAY too seriously. beats himself up and is sad wet and pathetic if he gets too many missed moves in succession. you have to rub his back after the round ends and you've won for the sixth time in a row, head in hands and saying "maybe it's just not my cup of tea"
favorite dance (more like the only one he even half liked bc he's, like i said, sad wet and pathetic): "just a gigolo" by Louis Prima
11: drunk giraffe on full display. limbs flying everywhere except for fleeting glimpses of coordination, slipping away just as quickly as they came. absolute menace, having the best time of his life
favorite dance: "call me maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen
12: never misses a single golden move. has every one of his favorite dances memorized and will do sections of them on command but only if he's feeling funky (and will only play as funky. that is his player)
favorite dance: "rock lobster" by the B52's
13: on the other hand of nine, enthusiastic about the prospect of the gameplay at very first mention and as the rounds roll by you notice her moves are somewhat messy and clumsy (lovingly) but she grows ever happier to be there bc she's playing a game with you :)
favorite dance: "c'mon" by Ke$ha

Since I saw that post about og!Cale solving a murder crime in Alberu's noble meeting, I've been obsessed with detective!ogCale, who solves crimes on his free time because he's too fucking bored.
Hence: bungo stray dogs crossover AU where, while a transmigrated RokSoo and company go around doing the usual "let's mess with white star" stuff, og!Cale got basically adopted by a bunch of weird professional detectives.
I'm talking about an AU where bsd happens in the world of tboah/tcf. So, while a member of the agency was going through the county for reasons, they witness og!Cale stealthy dropping a hint about a mystery to a near knight. Then he leaves, pretending to be drunk all the way to his home.
What everyone else sees is the local drunkard ready to cause trouble at the minor inconvenience.
What the detective in question sees is a very bright teen, good at solving crimes, who has nothing to do but pretend to be drunk. Needless to say, they take Cale back with them.
(It could be anyone, but it's most likely to be Dazai if they just take Cale with them and don't tell anyone. Though, I think it would be funny if it was Kenji the one who did it. Double-way adoption ensues)
Og!Cale is puzzled at how he ended up at the Armed Detective Agency as a recruit, but he doesn't complain. He even likes his job and his coworkers, even if Dazai keeps trying to unalive himself.
Besides, he doesn't have to keep with his trash act here. Everyone here is smart enough to tell he's acting. They're detectives, damn it. It would be strange if they didn't notice.
So, freedom.
And the ADA people like him too. This quite quirky, smart, witty and creative teen fits just right with them.
At some point, Ranpo has to tell him that "no, you're not smart. You're really smart. Not as much as me, although" because og!Cale's hypercompetence is normalized for him and sometimes he doesn't realize that "everyone else hasn't reach to that conclusion yet" when talking with normal people.
Fukuzawa looks at this sassy child and is like "I guess I got yet another son". Because, why would the hella rich son of some noble be so happy to join a group of strangers and do all this hard job? You can say he obviously loves his family from the way he talks about them, but he also brights up at the minor genuine act of care. It's concerning. Not urgent, but still concerning. He's keeping him. He's eighteen, legally an adult, and came on his own will. So, It's not a kidnapping.

my hot take in this whole discussion is probably that while I don't want cheating byler to happen in canon to the extent we're discussing it nor do I think it will, I also don't think it's nearly as unrealistic and out of character as a lot of you guys are making it out to be
like yeah this is just a hypothetical scenario but like they're queer 15 year old boys in the 80s both hardcore pining for each other while mike is in a very ambiguous situation with el rn. Cheating in these types of messy circumstances is pretty common (again not saying it's okay just that it's something that happens), and i'm gonna be so for real with you guys most teenagers are usually not that focused (if at all) on sticking to a set of moral values when confronted with something they really really want and that's all I'll say on that for now
