When your father tried his best to provide for you but he worked all the time and even when he was home he was either tired or stressed and he’s always liked to get drunk to relax and cheer up. When you know he values work ethics and respectability so you grew up to be capable and quiet. And when he says you’re like him you’re sort of puzzled, does he really know you so little, or does he know himself so little? But you like the feeling of your father ruffling your hair so you accept it, and still you stand next to your mother just as silent and just as stoic as her during family gatherings. He leaves again and again and when your mother leaves him nothing changes, really. You wonder if it’s more telling that you know him better than he seems to himself or that you don’t know him as much as you wish you did, or that you don’t think about him all that much these days. Out of sight, out of mind. And he’s never really been there, even when he was there, after all.

Share houses where everyone just like. minds their own business are like pretty decent. Share houses but someone decides they want to make a like group where everyone's super close and goes to all sorts of stuff together become the most unparalleled mechanism of torment and horror

Random thoughts: Can't wait until I move again next year back to the valley. Super excited for all our local festivals and celebrations!! Sadly they dont happen where I am now, no one even has heard of them.
Big L to these folks they don't know the freedom of trading skills and the fresh sea and local wildlife. Or celebrating just to celebrate. Where are the get togethers? Where are the potlucks? The community? The rules of politeness and friendliness are different here and it's strange how friendly from the valley is seen as overextending yourself here.
Also I can't wait to see the mechanical riding bull at the various ocean creature festivals we do! Also no one does any cèilidh here? It is strange and interesting and folks around this city (very far fromthe valley) are different? But I am acclimating, although I still am looking forward to going back too

transitions and change always make me so stressed. even if its as simple as i need to pack and drive 3hrs back to my apartment which i havent been to in 3wks and its been empty for that long so idk if anyrhinghappened or if its dusty or there are bugs it stresses me out that im not there. even tho i want to go back bc its my safe place even tho i will also feel really depressed being alone but i also do not feel good where i am now and everything going on w family. but i am also not used to being back there and i have to pack and unpack and i hate that. i hate change. also hate living the same day over and over so i will probably feel depressed once im alone and have no routine but i will build a routine for myself 👍

Sometimes hating is cathartic. Being a hater sometimes is within the natural range of emotions and it’s never good to repress those.
Take a moment to be a hater, and once it’s out of your system, reflect on the things you hated on. What did you hate on? Why did you hate on it? What about it made you hate on it? Is it something that is genuinely bad (i.e nazis) and deserves to be hated on? Or is the hating from personal preference, such as liking/disliking broccoli? Is the hating constructive toward your own emotional state?
Accept that hating is part of the Feelings soup.
Im just hating on some family members and my current state of being
