Idk any actual lore aside from what I've picked up in other fics but listen. I need to write something about Ramattra have you seen the man???
Ramattra x male reader (not specifically trans but that's implied in all my fics 💜)
You started worming your way into his life the moment you first cracked some dark joke about the state of humanity
He was initially curious - what would make a human turn on their own kind?
And, even more confusing, why were you still so kind to those around you - human and omnic alike?
It started as pure curiosity. A simple need to understand.
He started to....linger...near you at times, you could feel him watching you occasionally (every time you turned to catch him staring you'd find him focused on something else way in the distance)
It took more effort than he'd like to admit to stop his amused chuckle at the suspicious squint you'd always send his way
something something now you're dating so bonus thots™️ under the cut
SFW
Ramattra sometimes gives you his version of piggy back rides
It's really just you standing on his hips, arms draped around his neck for balance, watching over his shoulder as he goes about his day
He'll let you hang out there as long as you want tbh he likes being close to you
It's very silly to see but if Ramattra catches anyone laughing...... 😬😬
🔞NSFW🔞
Sometimes, Ramattra is amazed that you, a frail human, would put so much trust into him. That you'd feel safe with him in your most vulnerable moments. He was an Omnic built for war, not-
The thought makes him weak when he's knuckle-deep in you
Though you writhe and pant under him, gripping the sheets until your own knuckles turn white, strangled cries escaping your open mouth while you teeter on the edge of release
Though you haven't even touched him yet
Somehow, Ramattra is just as much of a mess as you are
He feels as though he's trembling, terrified of hurting you (part of him still scoffing at his own concern for a human)
He's so focused on your reactions he swears he can feel your heart beating in his own chest
If you were able to hear anything over your own sounds, you'd notice the once-soft whirring of fans within Ramattra's body has gotten much louder, vents opening on his back to release hot air
He's desperate, touching you as though he'll find his own release through yours
You reach up, intent on dragging his face down to you, but Ramattra beats you to it, burying himself in the crook of your neck
When you finally do tip over the edge - back arching high off the bed as your head flies back with a startled cry - the deep groan that rumbles in your ear and against your chest makes you think he might actually have come undone just from touching you
The thought sends you over the edge a second time, legs locked and trembling around his arm

continue being a little mean to toh fans please it is really irritating how some act like its got the best writing of any modern cartoon
Daawwwww I don't have it in me. TOH fans love it for a reason, and there are legitimately good moments! It's just not the most complex or well-written show out there—which it doesn't need to be—but I also totally get your exhaustion. It gets tiring seeing people praise it so highly over and over again when it's just like...fine. It didn't do nothing but it also didn't do something, you know? It's main couple is cute and queer, but that's pretty much all there is to them. It has a fun cast of characters, but they all tend to fall into archetypes. Luz is a sweet main character, but she doesn't have any real flaws and kinda takes a back seat to Hunter and Eda (the white people lol). Her foil with Philip was interesting...but then they kinda backed off and went the "you and Belos are nothing alike" direction.
((I'm also going to answer this anon with another: ))
And It's not that an unsympathetic villian is bad, or that Belos would even be sympathetic with added backstory, it's just that...there were a lot of interesting things to explore with his character that were left hanging.
Like, while he's definitely not at all a good person, it's intriguing that he would bother to recreate his brother over and over again knowing that each time the grimwalker was going to betray him. It's intriguing that he was even willing to kill his brother to begin with (though Caleb was super underutilized in general). Like, you can give a villain depth without justifying or victimizing them (hi Finnegran from tdp, I'll also add Spider Queen & LBD here). So it just feels like a missed opportunity all across the board. It's still surprising to me that we got a confirmation on the Wittebane backstory through an unrelated background character, rather than Philip himself (who had literally possessed a main character, and mindscapes had already been well-established....the pieces were all there me thinks).
And obviously it's like, people can love something despite it's flaws, and they can cherish it for the good it has, but they still don't need to praise it as an ultimate form of media, you know? We don't need to pretend toh was this dark and complex story—it was just a story a lot of people liked and resonated with. Which I'm glad it's there for those people, and I'm glad there are options when it comes to queer pieces of media!
That said the show with the best writing of any modern cartoon is The Dragon Prince (streaming on Netflix).

alright. know what? with Secrets of the Obscure right around the corner and plenty of new Mists-related sky island settings coming with it, I'll just bite the bullet and interest-check a little something I've been turning in my head for a long, long while.
would YOU be interested in a Mists-based GW2 roleplay guild that uses a lore compliant multiverse system to allow canon, canon-adjacent, lore-breaking, and otherwise 'contradictory' muses to coexist in the same setting?
simply put: every writer's cast would be set in their own self-contained universe. as such, everyone could bring whatever muses they want with their own personal headcanons, and no one could dictate what is or isn't canon for anyone else. so long as your muses are GW2-based, you're good to go! bring your Commanders, bring your canon-divergent OCs, bring your canon muses-- and yes, even the ones that are 'supposed' to be dead. who can say what might have happened in a strange world far across the Mists, after all?
neutral hubs and in-character safety guardrails would be in place to keep all muses on a relatively even playing field regardless of their power, history, and prestige, too. play hardball if you like, but it might not end quite the way you'd hope. the main rule would be to maintain good OOC etiquette at all times: no godmodding, no metagaming, no theft, don't blend IC and OOC, and so-on.
if that sounds like something you might have interest in, please interact with this post! and if you've got questions or concerns, I'd love to hear them; feel free to send an ask or a DM, or just reply to this post!

It’s me!
I was sick ALL of New Years which was a super bummer cause I wanted to drink but I wanted to kinda ramble about an idea I had the other day. For reference, I was live in a super rural area, and we’ve been having on and off storms here lately, which have made communication spotty at best and like!!! I cannot get that scenerio out my head for price!!
Maybe he got turned around in a storm (or he’s pretending to have been) and shows up on the readers doorstep, soaked to the bone. They bring him in and get him by the fire, try and warm him up cause it’s cold!! He’ll catch his death in that storm!! Make sure he’s all warm and comfortable and he’s just soaking in the domesticity of it all, I feel like he would be a sucker for that.
Alternatively, this entire scenerio for Johnny. Johnny would be down HORRENDOUS for a cute reader who bundles him by a fire and tries to feed him

happy new year's!!! (happy 5th of january)
also this is soooooo the vibes of ceilidh's witch fic!!! fanfic of a man showing up to a woman's house and just Moving In will ALWAYS HIT!!!! more fics like that!!!
anyways i just looove the idea of price showing up in a storm and just latching onto you as soon as you show him some affection. you let him sleep in your bed (try to sleep on the couch, but he threatens to sleep on the floor if you try and give up your bed fully for him) and he's laying there with his feet sticking out the end of the blanket and a pretty thing curled up next to himself just thinking. I Can Never Leave This Place
come morning, that man's got coffee brewing and the newspaper spread on your table. you can't get him out of your house. hope you're ready for a husband (and getting pregnant by the end of the year)!
(john price's domesticity kink is non-negotiable and completely canon)
