Matthew Tkachuk: I would think it'd be a lot of fun to go back in time and play with my dad. I think my brother and I would both want to play with him and throw him at centre. I don't know, that'd be a crazy line to play against so I think if I had to go back in time and play with one guy, it'd definitely be my dad. Wouldn't pass to him though.

Leon Draisaitl: Jaromir Jagr. Just always fascinated by the way he plays. Someone that I idolized growing up, loved the way he played.

Aleksander Barkov: Go back in time like three years [to 2017] and play with Jagr again.

In a house like a pinewood box, This inescapable two-by-four situation, Nails bending, breaking, rusty, Leaving like a crowbar prying at the boards.

Pacing around, looking inside, Falling through a single crack, No escape without a fire, A flame that burns through factory work.

Tell me mother, do you believe, That I'm in love with Continental Shoes? Full of envy for the dead, "Rise and shine," you crow, and I'll do neither.

Even if I try to forget, Through midnight screens and bottles emptied, I left my home, was it for the better? What I left behind soon turns quiet.

Shyness sent to empty gaze, "Slight defects" ice picks will solve, Quiet girls are seen, not heard, A happy home without expression.

Were there really seventeen? Tales retold to bear with life, Exaggeration was your only tool, "Go," you said, my body exhumed.

me sitting with my seven-month-old niece taking a nap on my shoulder: [whispering to the back of her head] i am in so much pain right now i could scream ❤

#tales from diana #she took a nap on me for half an hour today #and i had horrible period cramping in my lower back and my shoulder frequently gets stiff #i'm sure it was very relaxing for her though #and regardless of how uncomfortable i was like physically (for the most part nothing to do w her)#(other than the occasional shoulder cramp which like. i can adjust even if it gets stiff again a few minutes later)#it is very soothing to hold a sleeping baby. i will tell u that much #jon had a couple job interviews so my dad and i babysat her for a few hours #it was nice. we watched meet me in st. louis and she couldnt get her eyes off of judy garland #and can any of us? can any of us?#bonus points for she didnt throw up on me today!!! yay!!!!!!
