Misty Quigley’s obsession with a woman who wants literally nothing to do with her until she’s useful versus a man who thinks she’s actually so cool and thinks the fact that she commits extreme crimes nonchalantly is really hot and has similar interests and neuroses.
Easy answer unobtainable woman wins every time.

Honestly Jeff could use a boy best friend who knows about all the murder stuff. It would be good for his enrichment

I'll say it. I like walter. I don't actively want misty to kill him. misty didn't fit in with the other girls in high school, she didn't fit in with them in the woods, and she doesn't fit in with them now. The closest she came to being accepted and understood was crystal, and she was mostly playing the part they both needed her to so they could be less alone. when it came down to it, crystal didn't understand misty at all actually, and found her flaws intolerable, confirming misty's fears that she would never be accepted. Too wrong even for the weirdos and outcasts to love! if he turns out to be a creep, then by all means I'd love to watch a girl do some murder. But if he's actually just a kind of boring weird dude who knows everything about misty and isn't repulsed by it, let her be understood and liked for the freak she is, idk. I suspect it'll end in an Adam situation, where Misty misinterprets something he does as a callback to Crystal and snaps, feeling threatened, and I'd enjoy seeing that too. But I'm still kinda rooting for someone to love Misty fr i guess, throw me in the pit
