Enjoy your Saturday with some more amazing Guest news!  You've asked for more music, so here it comes!
Combine musicians from multiple bands with extensive Renaissance Festival and Detroit music scene experience, add in a recent Colorado transplant with a history of singing at Festivals and Conventions around the country, tie everything together with a drummer with a penchant for Mashing Jazz, Motown and modern elements into her percussion style and you get Wakefire. The band showcases a wide ranging taste in music, pulling material from many areas including Celtic Traditional, Modern Rock and Pop, Gypsy Punk and Geek Culture all to put on a fun, high energy show.

From Florida, I did the Saint Declan‘s Way last week and this week it’s the Dingle way. Thanks for keeping me company! Thanks again. I am gliding along with your music. Makes the hills easier to horse through."
Kyle Hayes emailed: "I'm very excited that you're going to be at the highland games in TN. I went the first time when I was 12, back in 2001 or so. It's when I got hooked on bagpipes, celtic music etc. I even had plans to join the Nashville pipe band, but didn't have time due to other activies. Now I'm teaching English in Mexico City and found out in May that there are pipe bands here, so I'm taking lessons so I can join them. Surprisingly, the pipe band I'll be joining as large crowds when they perform; there are also a number of celtic bands here as well. Enjoy Tennessee, I wish I could be there!"
Anne Lorkowski posted a photo on Facebook after I posted a picture of me running on the beach. She writes: "What a coincidence, I’m listening to the new episode while running along the beach in Fiji! Oh did I say running? My bad, I’m actually drinking a pina colada during happy hour. Sláinte and Bula! 😊"

Alexander Randall 5th emailed: “Marc: I was delighted to hear the Achendoun set by Chivalrous Crickets. Their handling of the Bonnie Prince Charlie March is the best I have ever heard. It is so energetic that I began to think, "If I were on my death bed, I'd want to hear this. If my hand taps my thigh, then I am still alive, but if not, then I am dead."
This got me to thinking what would my "deathbed playlist" include? If I am in hospice and on the verge of death and a band were to come into my room to play music, what would I want on that list?
The Chivalrous Crickets playing this Auchendoun set would top the list.
St. Anne's Reel would be next.
Capricalle playing Argyle Ladies is third...
Miller's Maggot
All from your podcast!!!
I wish I could get a read on the third part of this attached tune. It starts as the humoresque and ends with one of the coolest riffs ever... The liner notes say "An Old Man Comes in and Sits Down" I wish I knew where to find other versions of this...
Thank you for reading what your listeners say.”
He followed that up with another email: “The Old Man Walks Into The Room And Sits Down’
I found one recording of this by Celtic stone.
DId anyone else record this?”
Woodland Folk sent pictures of what he described as Eden. See those pictures in the shownotes.

Because of Your kind and generous support, this show comes out at least nearly every week. Your generosity funds the creation, promotion and production of the show. It allows us to attract new listeners and to help our community grow.
As a patron, you hear episodes before regular listeners, vote in the Celtic Top 20, and a private feed to listen to the show.  All that for as little as $1 per episode. You can also get music - only episodes, free MP3s, and stand - alone Celtic Stories as a Song Henger.
A special thanks to our Celtic Legends: Marti Meyers, Brenda, Meghan Walker, Dan mcDade, Carol Baril, Miranda Nelson, Nancie Barnett, Kevin Long, Lynda MacNeil, Annie Lorkowski, Jennifer, Travis Senzaki, Shawn Cali

TRAVEL WITH CELTIC INVASION VACATIONS
Every year, I take a small group of Celtic music fans on the relaxing adventure of a lifetime. We don't see everything. Instead, we stay in one area. We get to know the region through its culture, history, and legends. You can join us with an auditory and visual adventure through podcasts and videos. I’m recording this Saturday night after visiting and performing at the Middle Tennessee Highland Games and Celtic Festival. I had an amazing time. It’s been a while since I’ve been to some highland games. They did a brilliant job organizing it.
I got to hang out with Kris Colt, The Secret Commonwealth, Clare Cunningham, Colin Grand - Adams, and Flatfoot 56. Everyone was just spectacular. I also got to meet several listeners, including one of our Celtic Legends, Shawn Cali. Congrats on your upcoming marriage!
I captured a little bit of audio from the event that I hope to share. But for now, I’m winding down and heading back to my home in Atlanta, Georgia. Hopefully, I can do this again sometime.
