"You have nothing to apologise for, Gordon," Penelope said as she tucked the thick duvet around him. "You can't help being sick."

"I know but-" he coughed, and pulled the duvet closer as he shivered. "This was supposed to be our night, and I've ruined it."

"Not to worry, we can do something another day." She grasped the large throw that was at the foot of the bed, and draped that over him as well. Finally, Gordon felt his shivers die down as the warmth enveloped him. "Besides, there's nothing to say we can't do something together now."
