House of Voodoo - A CC collection

I finally re-worked my House of Voodoo set ! I know, I said that I won't update my old lots and CC anymore, but what can I say, only fools never change their minds ! As a lot of you was asking for the possibility to download the lot, and I finally did it 🎉🎉✨ In the process, I got inspired to make some new art and CC to decorate the lot and give you more voodoo/vodou original content. Bazar Madame Voodoo - Magnolia Promenade

when the paranormal stuff came out, i freaked out. I love all things exotic and centered around spiritualism! and of course my sims are addicted to these arts. So, here's a shop that will satisfy the needs of your spiritualist Sims!

it's a bazaar that sells creepy stuff and I tried to dedicate it to Santa Muerte

there is a small room where you can have séances

of course, the bathroom is also dark and mysterious

while, upstairs, you can relax reading a book and drinking a good coffee

Marie Laveau House of Voodoo, 628 Bourbon St, New Orleans (French Quarter), LA 70130

I hope Marie Laveau’s heirs are receiving something from a store that uses her name to sell voodoo items. The no pictures signs weren’t very welcoming. There were multiple no photo signs in the shop, plus a security guard by the door and an employee who kept mentioning that they do voodoo readings.

The shop is small and very cluttered. There were many kinds of voodoo dolls – different sizes and for different purposes. They also sell many necklaces, charms, beads, earrings, oils, candles, African wooden masks, statues, books, t-shirts, etc. The voodoo dolls looked handmade and were reasonably priced (about $25 and under).

There’s a shrine dedicated to Marie Laveau and a separate area in the back for voodoo readings.

IT'S BLACK HISTORY MONTH 🫶🏿

Time to remind you all of my fave movie owo AND my newest addition to my TPATF collection: Mama Odie! 🐍. She's so silly but also the smartest in the movie XD or maybe it's wisdom cause she's 197yo 🤔. I also enjoy the fact that she does voodoo but good voodoo, unlike the villain, thus showing that voodoo isn't the problem, it's Facilier and his friends ☠️

Onwards past fast food joints, more bars, a newsagent's - where Cornell looks for motorcycle magazines - and a voodoo shop that has a picture of Alice In Chains in the window.

Later, I ask Cornell for his views on the local magic.
