My AU version of Void that’s been living in my head (without paying rent mind you). He’s my silly little tragic goober <3

I don’t know how or why but for as long as I can remember Void somehow became my comfort character??? (Maybe from that scene where he started to get overpowered by Sabre and the Galaxy Sword and he started giving me wet cat vibes)

Downsides to this; I love him, but then I’ll be reading a fanfic where he’s the most horrible stanky piece of garbage to ever breath and it makes we want to strangle the life out of him. A lot of mixed feelings.

Also!!!! If u have suggestions pls comment them :3 I stopped watching rainbow quest halfway through though, and twisted rainbow and allux rising (idk how to spell it..) I haven't seen any of. For steve saga I've watched from the verry beginning and kinda was watching it on and off after (spoilers !) The rainbow town was destroyed and mainly stopped after the whole either origin steve stuff or illusion/reality stuff I don't remember which. Like ik some of it bc I'd watch the recent episodes occasionally but I'm more knowledgeable on the middle to early parts of it 😈 😈 😈

I have figured out why the word Soulstice makes me so uncomfortable. So, the Solstice is a celebration of the changing of seasons, right? For some reason, the word Soulstice reminded me immediately of the harvest season. It brought images into my head of this… worldwide reaping of souls. It’s horrific imagery. Almost like Judgement Day.

The Winter Solstice is the only one anyone talks about anyway (probably because of it’s historical link to Christmas. Which I just now realized might be why this episode is coming out on Christmas????). A celebration that happens only to celebrate surviving another year, as you may not live through the next one. Filled with prayers and food and sacrifices and alcohol. Nothing can grow after the solstice. You survive on storage and faith. You hope that you live to see the day when life will thrive again.

This is why Void and the Soul Eater having scythes for weapons struck me so. Not only because I LOVE SCYTHES (even though I do, they make for such awesome images), but because it’s a farmer’s tool. It’s a harvesting tool.

And then one of General Proxima’s nicknames being The Reaper…. Well, we’ll see where that goes. That leads into ANOTHER crack theory about Proxima potentially being the traitor.

The point is, the simple word ‘Soulstice’ sends an utter chill down my spine and I’m terrified of what this upcoming episode has in store.

Desolation is definetly the suck up to Void who gets more praise and attention. He's manipulative to the point where he gets people in his favor rather than hating him. He actually shows affection too.

He also is genuinely protective of Memory, and the rose colored glasses are a big hint to his personality. He's also very egotistical.
