LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW MANGA YAYYYYYY

lollipop chainsaw manga chapter 1

I scanlated the first chapter of the official lollipop chainsaw manga! it was originally released in 2012, and it has a bunch of prequel stories about the characters before the game. the first chapter is mostly the in-game intro in manga form. some of it was included in a Famitsu issue, so the first few pages are much better quality than the rest.

I didn’t really scan the pages, since I don’t want to damage my manga, but hopefully I’ll find a second copy someday. I hope the quality is readable enough! Also, I am NOT fluent in Japanese, im a beginner, so my translation is pretty rough in some spots. I researched a bunch to try and help but Juliet sure loves slang. hope it still makes sense. if anyone wants the Japanese pages instead, just lmk!!!

I'm so so so excited! My fic for the SangCheng MiniBang 2023 is revealed today! I had the honour of working with two amazing artists - @takonxmz and Vikk - who helped bring the story to life with their work.

This fic is DEFINITELY NSFW and has some mild warnings, all mentioned in the tags and authors' notes. It's an alternate universe where NHS' and JGY's mothers were sisters, and their fates switched - an idea I originally read here on Tumblr by @thebiscuiteternal - meaning that A-Yao got to grow up with a Dage, and A-Sang became a courtesan like his mother. This is courtesan!NHS' story from start to finish, and I put a whole damn lot of my heart into this 51k beast of a fic!

I’ve said it before, but I really think that people need to make C!Dream scarier in their fanworks. Cause when I go through the ao3 tag, he’s always some tragic villain, and that’s not wrong! He is tragic in a way. He’s lost all he cared about, and he’s convinced himself that it’s fine and that it’s actually a good thing! (It isn’t, and he knows that it isn’t, he like openly admits it at one point to c!Sam I think)

But also? He’s scary. Exile. The attachment vault. C!Vikk and C!Lazar. He’s probably been planning ways to torture and kill C!Tommy for months. His little diss track like “Hey what’s up I bet all of your friends wouldn’t miss you if you were gone <3 I would miss you <3 How can I kill you if you were gone?” This man didn’t have to lift a finger to convince the server that C!Tommy is still a problem to be “dealt with”.

And the scariest part? He’s self aware. He knows that he’s the villain. He knows that he’s doing horrible, horrible things. And that’s fine! He’s just fine with it, even if he’s lost all he’s ever loved and cared about in the process. Even if he’s alone, that doesn’t matter to him.

- c!Eryn centric canon divergence fanfiction

So @cupsmp was interested in my (not yet written but almost fully planned out) s4 canon divergence au (also I haven’t watched all of the recent lore so my apologies if anyone is ooc) It is mostly based off of canon events. This is my take on the c!boomer blowing up Punz’s tower.

Basically, Eryn, Tina and Boomer have a found-family adopted dynamic going on, and when Aimsey and Seapeekay join the server, they quickly make friends with her. Eryn due to his pyschic abilities is able to sense something off about the place around Punz’s base, and especially boomerville when he goes to help Seepeakay get moved in. Aimsey still looses her first life to Tubbo- that’s important to later. Anyways Seepeakay quickly befriends Badboyhalo (and by extension Punz.) Eryn convinces Boomer, Tina and Aimsey to sneak into Punz’s tower, but Hannah catches onto them and ends up tagging along. Execpt for when they get their, they accidentally get into a secret room by blowing it up. The gang are horrified to find the room where, vikk and lazar died, as well as some other grisly shit such as a dormant Sam Bucket clone. Then Seapeekay and Punz find them. Their is a skirmish, and it ends with Aimsey loosing another canon life, and Hannah loosing her first one as well to Seapeekay. (My headcanon is that the revival book makes responding wonky so Aimsey just immediatly respawns. Hannah glitches though and ends up stuck in Limbo, where she meets the ghosts of vikk and lazar and they explain to her what Dream and Punz’s plans are. Punz threatens to take Aimsey’s last canon life if the rest of them don’t surrender. Hannah wakes up, now reinfected by the egg, but with enough free will to send a desperate message to her dying communicator. A message that is picked up by Sam and Puffy, who are searching the woods for Sam bucket. It’s also picked up by one of Dream and Punz’s allies, Michael Mcchill.

So by no means a finished au, but i’m still proud of it. If anyone wants to do stuff with this Au, by all means please do. It would make me so happy if someone wrote a fic based off of this.

how do you think i should get caught up on lore; the blueberry videos or the dsmp watchlist carrd?? I know the blueberry aren't completely up to date but i feel like they might have more detail? idk

well you see anon i'm a bad lore watcher so i myself got into lore by reading the wiki and having other people tell me about things and then going back to watch specific vods out of order. which is a way less direct way to gain an understanding of something but for me it was not as labor intensive and grinding hours of watching streams lol.

I'm a big fan of blueberry tv though! its been really helpful when i had to fill myself in on more detailed bits of lore or less commonly known parts like vikk and lazar's brief existence on the smp. I also really like that the videos swap between perspectives from different streamers. if you're making your decision based on detail and getting the fullest scope of the dsmp alone, I'd probably say blueberry tv is your best bet. there's a plot only playlist on the channel if you want to skip some of the eps less relevant to what's treated as plot and canon

but yeah blueberry isn't up to date yet so you'd probably have to find something else as you near the tail end of lore continuity also even though they've cut down the streams quite a bit it'd still take a really long time to get through all of them tbh but maybe i just have no patience

I looked through the carrd a little bit too and I couldn't tell you how long i think that'll take because it's like,, a combination of short clips and full streams and everything. but it's definitely more complete and probably a little more streamlined? it has links that go all the way to the end of s3. I haven't used it as much as I have used blueberry tv so I can't really say a ton.

tbh what i would do is probably use the plot points highlighted in the carrd or elsewhere as a guide to figure out which arcs i want to sit down and watch full streams and/or blueberry episodes of and which ones i want to just get through real quick by watching clips or reading summaries but ultimately consume media however you feel fit even if that is asking a willing participant to infodump an arc to you or chilling in the tags until things start to make sense
