“Fairy Girl gloves"! This might just be one of the prettiest things I've made tbh. The pattern is inspired by a mix of magic, fairies and nostalgia, something 5 year old me could have imagined a fairy princess would wear.
I printed the digitally painted butterflies/moths on satin gloves using transfer paper & a heat press, and then added some details with posca pens!
it's already been said but it's crazy how female artists in the 90s wanted nothing to do w the feminist label and yet the message they sent through their music was actually empowering due to its rawness and authenticity while nowadays everyone tries too hard to be a feminist and an ally and they just come off as fake and bland bc it's all this sugarcoated liberal white feminism #girlboss barbie 2023 and the worst part is ppl actually buy into that but get scared when they see anything sinead oconnor did
If you can't tell, this is based on a painting by Ramon Casas called Decadent young woman. After the dance. (More about it at the end)

The original painting:
"Decadent young woman. After the dance", 1899 by Ramon Casas
I was looking through my folder of paintings, thinking if one of them could be turned into fanart. I found this one and thought it would fit Crowley very well. Well, turns out the name makes it even more fitting! The Incident in Good Omens That Broke All of Our Hearts, happened after a dance/ball (the painting is also known as "After the Ball"), which is just incredibly serendipitous.
Also of course everything about the pose, the dark clothes and the red hair just screamed Crowley to me.
ANYWAYS SDMSBnsbfns elaborating on the smiling critters but with bows thought
here's just one (1) singular of them for now: catnaps
Wanted to draw refs of all the critters all together but I'm impatient and busy so 1 by 1 it is instead womp womp, maybe I'll link them together as I go along yahooo
On one of the planets overseen by the Lanterns, a strange object manifested. Circling, trapped in a dome, Hal swore it was a red eye and it was watching him.
The eye caused different alterations in time, causing the planet to be in a state of pause (kinda) and everything to happen very slowly. All the inhabitants were affected by this effect, something they did not notice for a long time. They asked the lanterns for help (although the message arrived very late), and the lanterns decided to protect the object. It would be dangerous if power could be harnessed and fell into the wrong hands.
When said changes and temporary alterations happened in their headquarters, they gave the "eye" to Hal and told him to take it to the League to be studied, unfortunately they did not have enough knowledge of cursed items, and perhaps one of Hal's companions should know something. Diana almost fell out of her chair when she recognized that the eye belonged to Kronos, even though he was long dead.
As they began to discuss where to put the eye, Justice League Dark was summoned, and Fate informed them not to worry, as someone would claim the eye soon (which didn't alleviate anyone's concerns.) Though it would be a few months before they could.
Discussions continued until a rip in space made itself known. And a teenager saw them furious, showing his fangs. How could they display Clockwork's eye like a decoration and argue like it had no owner? It took him years to find out where the Observants had left it, damn it!
Of course, the League had forgotten that the eye altered time, and a few months was the equivalent of a few seconds.
