Did the SR-71 leak fuel while on the ground?
Yes, the SR-71 did leak fuel while on the ground. The SR-71 Blackbird was a reconnaissance plane that could fly over Mach 3 and 80,000 feet, making it virtually invulnerable to enemy defenses. To achieve this incredible performance, the SR-71 had to overcome many engineering challenges, such as the extreme heat and pressure generated by supersonic flight. One of these challenges was the fuel system. The SR-71 used a special blend of fuel called JP7, which had a high flashpoint to prevent it from being ignited by the heat of the airframe.
The SR-71 did not have a traditional fuel bladder because JP7 would dissolve the tank liners that were available at that time. Instead, the fuel tanks formed in the skin of the aircraft, with gaps to allow for expansion and contraction. Many of the SR 71s on display today still leak fuel 30 years after they were filled with JP7. As long as the fluids are moving around in the beautiful Blackbird, it’s still alive. When the SR 71s flew, they never stopped leaking, just like now, as they sit in static display forever.
The problem was that these gaps also let the fuel leak out of the tanks when the aircraft was on the ground or at low speeds. The fuel system could not be sealed permanently because there were no sealants that were flexible and durable enough to deal with the high temperatures and shrinking expansion cycles: Kelly Johnson, head designer of the SR 71. Also, did not want the extra weight of a fuel tank.
The JP7 was not dangerous to handle on the ground because it had a high flashpoint and low volatility. The fuel was very messy, for the men who worked on the SR 71. I heard they washed their uniforms with a can of Coke, the soft drink to help get the fuel smell out of their uniforms.
So yes, it did leak all the time other than being messy. This is not a problem. Yes, some of the airplanes on display today are still leaking. Next time you visit, look under the aircraft.

Tumblr allows users to explore their identities and interests without rigid rules, fostering appropriate communities and diverse voices. With minimal content moderation, users can delve into complex topics without fear of censorship, sparking unfiltered dialogues. This is something that other platforms rarely do. For example, on TikTok, content moderation is stringent; videos containing suggestive images or sharp objects are immediately removed. However, on Tumblr, sharing "nudity" images often remains uncensored and is even easier to find when searching through hashtags.
The shadow of openness:
Because of Tumblr's excessive "openness," it has led to some negative aspects. Like June said, Tumblr is a mishmash of thematic blogs revolving around every topic imaginable (2014). The feature of anonymity coupled with Tumblr's limited moderation has led to the emergence of inappropriate content, making some people feel violated and unsafe when using this platform. Moreover, there is a risk to security and privacy when users may lose control over their personal information when shared widely. The loose content control policies on Tumblr can lead to the spread of misinformation, rumors, and even fake news. This lack of control can affect the platform's credibility and create an unsafe environment for users.

In 2018, Tumblr issued a complete ban on Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content to restrict the posting of inappropriate images and animations. However, this transition process faced many challenges and criticisms.
