literally the SECOND leafpool ran away with crowfeather she did nothing but suffer. came back to find her mentor dying. finds out she’s pregnant. the very same cats who told her that she should go with crowfeather if it makes her happy shame her for her pregnancy and tell her she’s not allowed to raise them so they lie to and manipulate her sister and force leafpool to give them up to her sister instead. leafpool watched them grow up but can’t be the mother she so desperately wants to be. then the truth inevitably comes out and her entire clan hates her and her children hate her and the cat she loved hates her and her daughter tries to force her into suicide. and then that daughter runs away for years. and then leafpool loses the job she sacrificed everything for. and then her daughter comes back and finally forgives her but then dies. and then leafpool dies and isn’t even allowed comfort in death because when she goes to starclan they line up to shame and humiliate her for her crime of falling in love and having kits DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY TOLD HER TO!!! AND HER KITS WERE PART OF A PREDETERMINED PROPHECY!!!! it was bound to happen. but she sits on trial in front of all the cats she thought loved her and the only cat who will defend her is her sister. the only cat that has ever defended her. the cat she ultimately gets separated from
