I feel like if I ever have kids, I'm going to need to be 100% transparent about the internet from the get go, and spend all my life staying as up to date as possible with it.

I am 27 years old, and it's only started to truly dawn on me how badly I was groomed by adults from aged 12-17. I was too young to understand the severity of the situation- I literally did not have a brain capable of understanding what this was.

i feel like it stems from smeyer herself being garbage and not only sexualizing them (having them constantly mostly naked, emphazing their muscles, our (adult) narrator talking about how beautiful they all are), but making them appear so much older (they literally shoot up to look like highly athletic adults and are all super tall when the transformation starts). jacob describes himself as looking 25.
