I don’t know if it is me being sensitive or projecting but I find larries to be extremely biphobic , especially when it comes to larrie I already know how they feel about Louis they think dude only like men cause Harry is a men so I’m not even gonna go there , but with Harry I see that a lot of them are extremely uncomfortable with the idea the Harry might not be a homosexual, don’t even get started on try g to imply that he might like women or is bi. In my core in think that Louis is gay but I would never argue or pop a vein of someone says that they think he might like women too be at the end of the day we don’t know for sure, I don’t know why but the thought of Harry liking vagina repulses these people and I disgust me , they even turn an obvious son about vagina and claimed that no it is about sucking dick it’s so strange , if he is bi why should that stop their fantasy that he is dating Louis we bisexual for a reason. I’m always like is it because they think the feminine innocent and childish bottom image of him would be shattered I’m confused.

To tell you the truth, I find these discussions very uncomfortable. Throughout the years, fandom has felt comfortable projecting a lot of our own sexual anxieties and biases on these men. Even if fans are LGBT, these projections are regrettable.

The fact that the men are thoroughly fatigued by fan speculation on Larry and yet market it and profit financially from it, is cynical in the extreme.

The cycle of speculation —> marketing —> confirmation! —> more speculation —> more marketing and profit has some very bad ethical connotations.

Addendum: there’s speculation and there are facts, and the fact is Rads hardly ever talk about Harry’s or Louis’ sexuality or presume that we know. I find these Larrie posts — from adults who should know better— misleading, grotesque, and insulting.
