I was your canvas,

and you were the painter.

And together we made art.

I loved the way you looked at me with such hope

like I had potential to be something great.

But I did not know

that you were an expressionist.

You saw my pureness as an opportune moment to let loose your demons.

I became a place where you spilled your blood,

reds and blues from your past lovers.

When we first met,

I said I would love all of your shades.

I've never seen you when you were bright.

You only came to me

when you needed healing.

And when you come,

only use my bed as an easel.

And perform all shades of grey

as a gallery, where you display your pain.

But it was that day,

when I came to your place

and I saw paint on the floor

that you have never used on me before: I knew I was not your only canvas.

Now, I'm in the shower.

Trying to wash you way.

Scrubbing your magentas beneath my feet,

your maroons are stuck between my nails.

My new lover won't understand

Why i am this blue.

First Day of Tumblr

Today was my first day of tumblr. I walked into the website with sweaty palms and a beating heart. I thought, "There's no way I can make these people like me". I was coming in on my senior year transferring from Facebook, everyone already knew each other I was all alone. I spent my first day watching and observing all the popular kids, taking notes on how to be cool. I dont know if it'll be a good year but lets see
