"I think the most impressive d4 roll I've ever seen was in this episode."
Brennan, I'd like to remind you of Pete's Bend Luck on Kingston's Divine Intervention in the last episode of The Unsleeping City Chapter II. The one where a d4 made the difference on a d100 roll.
emily and siobhan simply can’t resist making their pc’s either best friends or sisters as can be seen in literally every season. like not just a crown of candy which obviously has the sister relationship between them but adaine and fig being best friends and fig declaring that to everyone as they’re trying to save adaine from fallinel as well as the fact that emily literally said she didn’t care what happened in the combat as long as they didn’t let adaine get captured by the elves. now in neverafter, rosamund and ylfa are the cutest like older and younger sister vibe and ylfa literally constantly is trying to protect rosamund. also then there’s the hero worship of misty moore by sofia and then when misty is gone siobhan plays the character that sofia ends up going to for emotional help - iga ! like even in subtle ways their pcs always have such a specific bond it is so adorable. a lot of it comes from emily’s role play as well because she can always manage to turn a comedic moment into such a cute bonding or like role play moment to display the bond between characters.
basically emily is siobhan’s biggest fan and i love it
Rewatching The Unsleeping City: Chapter 2 and in episode 9: "Fight at the Museum", Brennan goads Emily into using her reaction and then has the villains attack her. And she's so genuinely excited about him tricking her into using her reaction, she says, "Oh! You had me use my reaction so I can't use shield! That's really good stuff, and you deserve to hit me."
I love her enthusiasm. D&D is a game. And when you're such an amazing player, you gotta respect when another great gets you. Like, "YES! That was such a smart move!" One master acknowledging another.
