3 - Fav Episode Overall: Rapunzel and the Great Tree Parts 1-2 is my go-to comfort episode(s). Despite the obvious writing errors and toxic behavior being upheld, I get a special kind of joy from reciting the dialogue along with the characters and semi-acting it out while I watch. XD And of course it's the only time in the entire show that we get actual context for Hector and Adira's relationship.

4 - Fav Season

Not sure if I have a favorite of the three, but I can say what I like most about each one:

S1 = Most coherent writing/storyline

S2 = My fav characters get a brief spotlight and intriguing debut

S3 = Majority of my fav songs XD

6 - My Opinion on Zhan Tiri

Ziti was a great character with a lot of potential, but criminally underused and underdeveloped. Her manipulative nature and endgame to use Cassandra in order to obtain both the Moonstone and Sunstone could have served as a representation of Cassandra's trauma and declining mental health that she had to constantly battle, if the writers handled the relationship between Cass and Raps more appropriately. Ziti's past with Demanitus was never properly fleshed out. I think it could have served as a cautionary tale to motivate Raps and Cass to resolve their relationship and focus more on defeating Ziti. I also would have loved a more comprehensive explanation of how Ziti's magic worked, and how the celestial drops made her stronger.

11 - Major Rewrite

I think my first step would be to add a fourth season so I have ample time/space to A) Develop characters that should have gotten more screen time; and B) Flesh out the world-buidling properly.

I would incorporate subtle references to the Dark Kingdom and its history throughout S1, and add more concrete background/lore about the DK and the conflict between Ziti and Demanitus in S2. S3 and S4 would be dedicated to bringing all of the major characters together (on both sides of the conflict) and allowing them to properly assess their situations as well as formulate their own plans of action. (AKA we don't waste time avoiding the issues at hand - instead we force the characters to acknowledge their flaws/past mistakes so they can grow and grapple with their narrative wants and needs the way characters are supposed to.)

Raps would be allowed to recognize how toxic she is and start taking steps to unlearn the behaviors she picked up from Gothel, as well as how to replace them with healthier behaviors/coping mechanisms. Cassandra would still suffer from her mental breakdown, but not develop a completely new personality. The two "sisters" would figure out a way to connect with each other on a deeper level due to their similar trauma and also create a new, healthy relationship. Raps and Eugene would also develop a healthier romantic relationship as well.

Hector and Adira would get WAY more screen time, and we'd see their conflict be put to the side so they can work together when crap inevitably hits the fan. Over the course of working with each other and the Coronans, their interpersonal conflicts would be resolved and we'd get to see them interacting as a reunited family. Edmund and Eugene would interact more as father and son and address the possibility of Eugene ruling the Dark Kingdom one day. Varian and Quirin would play a bigger role in S3 and S4, and I'd probably change what Quirin's note said. Raps and Varian would both apologize for their misdeeds and start making up as well.

20 - Best Memory/Experience in Fandom

Joining the TTS fandom was actually one of the first steps I took to escape an abusive home. Making new friends via fanfics, fanart, and Discord/Tumblr communities provided me with the basis of a new, healthy friendship community at a time when I was cut off from my irl friends.

Getting invested in characters that I related to on a personal level, and exploring their untapped potential, gave me a coping mechanism in a toxic and painful environment, and also set me on a path of personal reflection and development once I was in a healthy environment.

22 - Fav AUs

1. Dad!Hector/Evil Daddy-Daughter Duo: Hector is Cassandra's biological dad due to being assaulted by Gothel early in his time at the Great Tree. There's an off-shoot of this where Hector decides to join Moon!Cass and be her voice of reason while also intending to get his own justice, and the two actually develop a kind of bond.

2. Den Father of the Brotherhood:

AU where the Brotherhood has a faction of select warriors to act as foster parents for some of the kingdom's orphaned youth. Hector was chosen to be one of these Den Fathers/Den Mothers, and had collected a sizeable litter of "foster kits" by the time the Dark Kingdom finally fell. Three of his kids were killed in the fallout, and when Edmund insisted that everyone had to be banished, Hector negotiated a deal for all of his remaining kids to be sent to Ingvarr as and raised together in military boarding school. Post-series, Hector returns to Ingvarr to reunite with his foster kits and give the the good news about the Moonstone. Cass also decided to head for Ingvarr to see if her offer from the queen was still available, and she meets Hector on the way. There's obvious tension and a little hostility between them at first, and upon seeing Hector reunite with his foster kids, Cass gets a peek into Hector's background.

3. Yin/Yang Twins:

AU where Hector and Adira are biological twins who never give their parents a moment of rest. Mostly domestic fluff/humor tidbits, not really a story. Includes such highlights as baby!Hector kicking their mother's spine out of alignment while in the womb; baby!Adira biting one of his buttcheeks as a prank; their parents also have a pet belusky (Belgian Malinois and Husky mix) who tries to separate the babies whenever they fight until the human parents can intervene.

23 - Unpopular Opinion

I've seen a lot of people insist that Hector is some flavor of queer, and that it's impossible for him to be striaght. Personally, I don't think any part of his character design is "proof" that he's queer, and I've never come across any quotes from the creators indicating that he is.

If a fan wants to headcannon that Hector is queer, or project it onto him for personal reasons, that's totally within their rights as a fan. (I like to project my ADHD qualities onto him.) I just get really annoyed when people talk/act as if canon!Hector MUST be queer because "Just look at him!" All I see is a man with very humanizing qualities/backstory.

24 - What Am I Salty About?

I'm Saltiest About: Tangled the movie was about exposing and escaping abuse. Tangled the Series made excuses for abusive/toxic behavior and wouldn't allow the main protagonist to grow beyond her obvious flaws into a better person.

I'm Second Saltiest About: The Brotherhood was completely mishandled by the writing and logically should have been more involved. They were also extremely interesting characters who deserved more screen time and better character development.
