🌈 ― aesthetically pleasing blog: i could easily mention you, especially since i went to you for help with my newer gfx, but i also want to mention @iedolon whose blogs are always absolutely gorgeous and @starmore whos on some next level shit with their commitment to the aesthetic and its just beautiful

💻 ― excellent writing: @tenkoseiensei is probably one of my favorite writers on tumblr. tsun has been inspiring my own writing for well over a year and everything they write, down to the silliest things, is just (chefs kiss)

🎙️ ― great to talk to: @nulltune! once a year a little lynn falls into my dms to say something in what i can only presume to be simlish. i can only make out the word "hakuno". she disappears again (this is a positive statement)

🎀 ― all-around kind person: @resolutepath !! charlie is amazing! they're like family to me, and have been for a few years now! charlie is just so easy to talk to and they're so kind in a very real way. i love my shitass sibling charles resolutepath

🥇 ― well-developed oc: @entwinedreams and all of scouts blogs. seriously scout is amazing at creating and developing characters. the minute they hyperfocus on an oc its fucking joever that silly little "hehe new oc!" design is now the most compelling and heartwrenching and beautiful thing you've ever seen and its your problem now

📌 ― a staple on the dash: holy shit is that professional dashboard influencer nox @novaragno

I was kinda of expecting a normal chapter since Old Xian loves to tease and pull back emotional moments very quickly. Nonetheless, I was surprised that not only Mo wore the studs but he also bought a sandwich to He Tian with a hidden note... All of that a few hours after he found out Tian’s confession. He is acting a lot more accepting than I expected. I don’t think they need a confrontation about the note at least for now since Mo is kinda embracing his trust on Tian, what do you think?

Eh, I liked the chapter. Was snorting out loud at HT and JY while putting down the lines in gfx editor. It goes without saying that I appreciate Mo wearing the earrings and leaving a sandwich for HT. As @call-me-ala pointed before, sandwiches are of utmost importance to Mo, so sharing one is extremely selfless and caring of him, not to mention the note itself. The original line says: “not dying is just fine”, so it’s like Mo saying “just don’t die on me”, which is very touching IMHO xD. As for earrings, I just can’t get over the fact that he put them on out of his own volition, despite going all like “you can’t make me, it’s all about my mood” before.

What I miss (as with most serious-to-comedy transitions that OX does) is the subtlety. Last week I was holding my fingers crossed for a glimpse of Mo reflecting on his time with HT -- even if just for one panel. I would have loved it if instead of frowning and yelling at HT in school’s corridor Mo’s expression changed like that time he got a text from HT in the hospital (to show that note affected him and he spent some time mulling over it) BEFORE switching back to his usual tsun-tsun mode. That would have been perfect for me.But that’s just my wish and my nitpicking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
