Hello everyone!

This blog has been a place to find fan edits of Stand Still Stay Silent and sometimes A Redtail's Dream.

I have been posting every day for some time now and I have run dry of all the old edits I could find.

I will continue to update this blog as I can for the foreseeable future but it will largely be inactive.

If you have found an edit that I missed, please let me know. And if you want to inform me about your own edits, I would be happy to reblog them. I will also keep making my own edits from time to time.

If this blog dies, it will still remain up for anyone who wishes to see what edits the fans have made.

We’ve had the comment first rule suspended for a number of tumblr holidays in the past, but I tend to forget about them until the last minute and then it’s too late to make a post about it, so I’m implementing that the comment first rule is suspended on all the tumblr holidays on the following list:

January 24th (End of Tumblr Live)

February 15 (International Fandom Day)

March 15th (Ides of March)

April 1st (April Fools)

April 25th (the perfect date Miss Congeniality)

April 30th (it’s gonna be may)

May the 4th (Star Wars day)

October 3rd (Mean Girls)

October 31st (Halloween)

November 5th (Destiel and general chaos)

November 15th (AO3’s birthday)

December 31st & January 1st (to new beginnings)

On these days you do not have to provide a link to a work you commented on to submit something to the Comment Exchange.

I know I missed some, these are mostly just of the top of my head. Please send in suggestions for other tumblr holidays that should be part of this list.

What is it?

If you remember, in September, we as a community did Anthony's Day as a way to celebrate Anthony's birthday! Well, now that it is November, I wanted to announce that we'll be doing Ian's Day as a way to celebrate our favorite submissive and breedable boy's birthday. Ian's Day is meant to be a creative way for our fan community to celebrate Ian's birthday. This is open to any fan contributions! Fics, fan art, playlists, edits, whatever you can create!

The fun thing is to build up the aspect of our community and collaboration. The idea is to ask for prompts from the community. The prompts for these creations can come from each other! If an author/artist/creator wants to take prompts between now (November 1st) and Ian's birthday (November 30th) just make a post letting people know you are accepting prompts (for fic/art/etc.)

To make it easier, I'd say to make a post announcing your participation and asking for prompts! Tag me if you want so I can make sure to reblog your post!

What can be posted?

I don't want to restrict anything as far as what can be paired, prompted, written, drawn, created, etc. Any pairing that involves Ian or even platonic ideas with Ian involved is fine! You can, of course, have the very popular Ianthony, but, hey, if someone asks you to write Damien/Ian or Ian/Amanda and you want to try that out, that's good too!

Prompts

As mentioned, the prompting can begin today up to November 30th. The sooner you get the prompts, the sooner you can get your creation done if you need extra time!

Posting

The only real rule is that please try and not post what you create until Ian's actual birthday date, so it goes along with the celebration of him on his special day! If you won't be around on his birthday and need to post a day earlier/day later, feel free!

Tag

So people can easily find all the works that will (hopefully) be created on that day we're suggesting the tag of 'Ian's Day' or 'ian's day' so your wonderful work can easily be found!

Other

This is all in good fun and meant to be an interesting and collaborative way to celebrate one of our favorite Sm*sh boys, so please don't link or spread anything to actual IRL Ian. This is meant for the fans!

Summary: Not So Ethical Adoptions... Or the story of how Honest John and Gideon became parents. Trigger warnings: child abandonment, unethical ways of paying off debts, angry mobs, etc.

“Hey Gideon I'm home—is that a human baby?” Honest John asked, dumb struck. Nearly dropping the take out bag from Ursula’s fish and chips in his shock.

Because yes, his cat companion was holding a tiny red headed human baby.

One that was most certainly not there this morning when he left.

“Yes. I was thinking of naming her Julianna.” Gideon didn't look up from the cooing baby, as he continued to play with it's hands.

Not noticing the look on his partner’s face.

“No. No! Absolutely not. We are not keeping that thing!”

“But it's for us!” The cat whined. The baby mimicked him.

“I seriously doubt that. Where did you get it?” The fox replied, rolling his eyes.

“Some man came by to pay off that Green Woman’s debet.”

John's eyes nearly jumped out of his head at that.

“And you accepted it?! What happened to only taking trades and money?!”

“It was the baby or us being empty handed.”

“We wouldn't have been empty handed for long if you just waited! Now put your coat on! We're going to find that green woman and the man and return it so that we can get an actual payment.”

“Daddy! Papa!” Little six year old Julianna cried, running to hide behind them.

“What is it Julie?” Gideon asked, wrapping an arm around her.

“There's an angry mob outside…”

Honest John groaned. “She's definitely your daughter.”

“How come she's always my daughter when she's in trouble?”

“You know why!”

“No I don't —”

“Daddy! Papa! The mob’s getting closer!”
